Incredible. I love Mexican food and I can't wait to return here. We started with drinks and I got a tequila and coconut liquor with lime cocktail and it was smooth and sweet. We started with guacamole which came with chips, salsa, and beans and it was very good. I ordered the Barilla Trio and it was incredible. My friends ordered the Ribeye taco and Barilla Enchiladas. We capped it off with the churros and ice cream. The atmosphere felt like Mexico in the best way. Multiple dining rooms and a separate room with a bar. It felt both like a small neighborhood spot and a good place for a group dinner. On Saturday nights they do karaoke. Everything else in the menu looked amazing. I almost ordered the Al Pastor. And when I was looking at the pictures already posted here it seems like the menu changes. Definitely come here and enjoy incredible Mexican Food and cocktails.

I really like the ambiance of this new spot up on cave creek. My dad told me this used to be called Manuels (which moved to 32nd & Shea) and it was a pretty good Mexican joint. Now they have cleaned it way up and painted it all white....white walls and white booths and are serving semi elevated Mexican food. I think this allows them to charge way more for their fairly basic Mexican food. But it's good! The service at first was slow but finally once they came over to us they were very attentive after that. The servers wear this funny little cross body bag to put all their stuff in. Kinda cute. I had a classic margarita and it was good. Nothing amazing but well made and not overly sweet. Apparently they freeze dry their own fruit garnish. The guac and salsa were super flavorful. My dad had a chimichanga which was big and delicious. I had Baja tacos and they let me do one shrimp and two fish tacos. They were also delicious but again nothing I haven't had before. I'm still waiting for a unique Mexican spot with mushroom and potato tacos but alas this is not that spot. Overall I was happy except it was a bit pricey and I feel I can get same quality at a much better price at Valle Luna right down the street. But I liked the server and the ambiance was nice so I might try it again.

We came in for the soft opening week. Service was great even the owner was there welcoming guests. Started out with wood fired whole shrimp. Amazing flavor and great sauces. The side of rice that came with was terrific. Next we had a chile rellano and the short rib barbacoa. Both dishes were great sizes and full of flavor. Lastly had the chocoflan for dessert. It was very dense and delicious. The dish looked like art as well when served. The cocktail service was very solid as well. We shared 3 drinks all were perfectly balanced. Can't wait to come back after tomorrow's grand opening for the full menu and experience. This is a terrific addition to the neighborhood that was lacking a nice Latin spot.

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant, mainly thanks to our waiter Alejandro. His service was outstanding--he was attentive, friendly, and made sure we were comfortable at all times. He truly went above and beyond to make our visit enjoyable. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was welcoming, but Alejandro's excellent service really made the difference. We will definitely be coming back and hope to be served by him again. Highly recommended!

My friends and I had enjoyable dinner here a few days after their opening date. The dining areas are spacious, the decor tasteful with a modern take on Mexican themes, the service is very friendly, and the food is good: an elevated version of Mexican staples. Excellent cocktails, as well.

5 for the food, 0 for the drink (a virgin pineapple na mezcal and coconut)- but they did the right thing and took it off the check, 3 for the space- they definitely did a remodel inside and I love the decor and the flowers but it wasn't to perfection (paint, flooring, ceilings), and 4.5 for the service. Our server was wonderful but the check in process was a little clunky- they're working through it and it's just the first day. We are a little shocked that a nicer restaurant has gone in this space given the location, and I hope they do well. The food- we had the ceviche (fresh and delicious, although we wished there were chips instead of tostadas), the pork tacos (so good), and the short rib (perfection). Everything tasted fresh and delicious, beautiful presentation- we will definitely be back to try more!

Cute date spot for the area, trendy but cozy with the big booths and ambient lighting. Drinks and food were delicious. We went around 7 on a Friday and food came out in 10min. Server was very attentive. Overall a great dinner, price was just a little much for our liking but would definitely recommend and come back!

The food and drinks were Amazing!! Highly recommend - fresh ingredients, modern flares, thoughtful flavors - we will definitely come back! Go check them out!!!! Our table had fish tacos, chicken tacos, barbacoa tacos, chicken enchiladas, and mahi ceviche, with arroz con leche withsweet potato desert and every single thing was delicious. They have a beautiful craft cocktail menu as well as a mocktail menu that we ordered from and I wish I had taken pictures of those. They were beautiful.

They always have different nights like trivia, bingo, live music, comedy, karaoke and DJs and then of course their curated wine club night (one time per month). The cocktails are so good here -- so many are my favorite, especially the espresso martini. They also seem to have rotating specials too -- I can't remember what this month's drink is but it has candied ginger in it and it is so good! Butler's has a small menu but the grilled cheese is super yummy. I see they have just added hummus to the menu so definitely need to check that out! You can also bring in outside food. I joined the wine club and every month they have a curated wine tasting and then members get the selected bottles to bring home. The have a little charcurterie table set up too. If I lived in phoenix, I'd be a regular for sure They opened during Covid and are relatively new but they got all their cocktail drinks on lock. Every drink we've had has been amazing! My favorite is the lavender fog and the mulled wine (which is only available in November) The service is awesome and the bartenders are so chill and down to earth. This bar also has live music on saturdays, trivia's and game nights. In fact, at every table, they have a deck of cards against humanity. At the entrance they also have a variety of other games like connect four, jenga and such. Lavender fog: great balance of lavender and earl grey tea! The foam is the best creamy touch to the drink. I feel in a relaxed daze when I have this drink. I think it's the most special one here. It was even featured on a magazine! Pour favor: I don't like mezcal but this was nice. The mango puree was prominent which I loved and was well complimented with sour and spice. This drink style is a little more commonly found in other bars too which is probably because it's popular! Indoor smoking: smoky, cool and well done twist in the old fashioned. They prepare it in such a cool way with the smoking process and the delivery is great. SMOOTH old fashion. It was alcohol forward but I didn't feel any burn that I normally get from any common old fashion. It also had the best citrus aftertaste The sunny slope sour: great if you love whiskey sour. I loved this drink the pear and peach made the whiskey taste less harsh. One of the better renditions of whiskey sours I've had My brightside. Bitter but works so well with watermelon! Refreshing, balanced and delicious. I typically don't love Negronis but I loved this rendition. The nanny: mezcal espresso martini that was also well done. You can also taste raspberry and chocolate every sip Mulled wine: hot wine with spices that I argue was better than the mulled wines I've had in Europe. All the spices and aromas were so complex yet cozy for a chilly night! The bartenders treat their regulars well and seem to really have a great community here. With offers for movie nights, paint and sip, jack box games, wine club, etc

I was happy about the little purse hooks on the table (iykyk). The outside area, not so much. It's on the corner of a strip mall, there was some etched graffiti on the outside windows, which made you aware of the area you were in. (That's the reason for the 1 star deduction.) The place is very small! So yes, you WILL want to make a reservation. We went around 3:30 on a Friday and I would say 3/4 of the tables had reserved signs on them starting at 5pm on up. The receptionist was constantly back and forth looking at them and moving them around to make space for walk-ins. I would skip bringing your kids here. I didn't use the restroom so idk if that was nice or not. The food was fantastic! And the portions were big. The price matched the portions and quality in our opinion. It's hard to find quality food that's worth the cost lately. We enjoyed the chips and salsa. And hubby ordered a Mexican coke, and the server brought him a frosty glass for it. Everyone around us looked like they were enjoying their food. Our server was great. He chatted with us for a while when we told him about seeing the place on IG. He was grateful for the customers. But admitted, it's caused an influx of people and the 'regulars' have become annoyed. Which is understandable. We'd definitely come back if we're in the area but probably not drive that far out of our way again.
