April & Joshua are amazing! Very kind and tentative. They helped me place a to go order & customize it. Also, served me coffee while I waited for my food to be prepared. Great ambiance: they have a DJ and disco ball near the bloody Mary bar. I came on a Monday morning, so I'm guessing the music is on the weekends. Fun! read more

We came on a Sunday around 12:00 p.m., right in the middle of the brunch rush. The wait was about 30 minutes for an indoor table or about 15 minutes if you were willing to sit outside. The patio is shaded and they have very powerful misters, which made the Arizona heat much more comfortable. I did notice that a few of the tables toward the edge of the patio were wet from the misting system, though. The restaurant was extremely busy, so the service was on the slower side. The staff was friendly and working hard, but it definitely felt like they could use a few more people during peak brunch hours. The menu is fantastic. There are so many great options that I honestly had a hard time deciding what to order. I chose the red chicken chilaquiles. The tortilla chips had a great texture, but by the time they reached the table they had absorbed almost all of the sauce. I'm not sure if that's just their style of chilaquiles or if my plate had been sitting in the kitchen for a bit. The red sauce itself was good, but it tasted more tomato-forward than the traditional red chile flavor I usually expect from chilaquiles. The matcha was to sweet and creamy: not of my liking. It didn't taste like matcha. The matcha pancakes were good. The atmosphere is definitely part of the experience. They had a DJ playing music, giving the restaurant more of a fun nightclub vibe than a typical breakfast spot. It was unexpected, but I actually enjoyed it. They also have an impressive Bloody Mary bar with lots of toppings and garnishes. The only thing that gave me pause was that the topping containers are open and located right by the entrance, which made me wonder how much dust or debris they might be exposed to throughout the day. One thing to be aware of is that there was an additional service charge added to the bill, which may be related to paying with a credit card. The manager was very nice and attentive. The server was ok and the hostess could be more friendly. Parking lot is limited Overall, Hash Kitchen is a fun brunch spot with a lively atmosphere, a menu full of tempting choices, and food I'd happily come back to try again. I just wish the service moved a little faster during the busy brunch hours and that a couple of the small details were improved. read more

The wait staff seems too mellow to have gotten there without perhaps a little gardening, but the food is amazing. Their quesabirria hash is solid but when we go, we love to share a stack of the matcha pancakes with extra strawberries and then get our proteins on the side: 2 over-medium eggs for me and two over hard for my dining companion plus share a side of bacon. This way, we aren't in a carb coma the rest of the day but get to indulge in their rare treats! We also love the recent Ube Blueberry ones. You can't go wrong with the juices either. One star off because I've never had a good cup of coffee here. It would be perfection if the could nail the coffee. read more

It was a quiet Wednesday morning. No lively DJ music happening. I guess it happens on the weekends. The Bloody Mary condiments were on display. I had considered ordering one until I saw little knats flying around. Service was good, very accommodating and pleasant. For drinks, we all ordered the lemonade. Mine came with passion fruit and guava. It was not my favorite so I ordered a Diet Coke. For our meals, my husband had three Basic AF it came with eggs over easy, ham, smashed potatoes ands silver dollar pancakes. He enjoyed it. Eggs cooked as ordered. My friend had Christines tamale Benedict. She asked for the Hollander sauce on the side. It was served with soft corn bread, carnitas topped with crema, smashed potatoes. She really enjoyed Althea flavors and textures. Presentation excellent. I had biscuits and gravy topped with eggs over easy. It cane piping hot in a cast iron skillet. Presentation sings taste was appealing. The portion of sausage gravy was very generous. Overall the meals were delicious. read more

By far the absolute worst experience. We came here to celebrate my bday for brunch with my entire family. I made a reservation 4 weeks in advance for 20 ppl. When we got there 10 min early we checked in and were told most of our party has to be there to be seated. Cool no problem. The resy was for11. Everyone got there at 11. I let them know and they say they're editing for some other big group to get up. We're waiting we keep checking it's now 11:40...what is the point of a reservation ?! find another area and stop relying on one group. So I find the manager and let him know and he seats us within 5 min...why it was so hard for the two hostess to make this happen is far beyond me...anyways we sit. We get our food.....THERES HAIR....LONG STRANDS folded in THREE of our meals. Mine was one of them. I let the server know and she sends it back. She was super sweet. The manager comes out and not once does an apology come out of his mouth. The fact that not One of our meals but THREE??? Seems intentional to me. The fact that an apology or nothing more was done is beyond me. Other than taking it off my tab which duh I'm not paying for that. Let's not even discuss all of the other issues with ppls food and sausage missing from a burrito so they bring out a side of sausage.... I also have never been to this location I always go to the one off northern. I will never be back here. Worst experience ever. read more

My first time here and I have to say it did not disappoint. The ambience was chill and casual. We were served by Ian, who was great. He was attentive and knew his stuff. Service was great. Omelet was decent, so if you're wanting an omelet it is kind of plain. You're better off with the Birria hash plate that I got. Had much more flavor. Orange mimosa was okay. The strawberry one is better. Then we got the Half banana split French toast. It was actually really good. Coffee was not the best. Overall, the place reminded me of another FirstWatch. Great music though. So I would rate this place a 4/5. read more

We went on a Sunday afternoon and we were able to find a couple of seats at the bar area fairly quickly so that was nice! I was pleasantly surprised by the new updates to the menu that I had not seen in previous visits and really enjoyed both the Paisa Bowl and S'mores pancakes. My sister and I shared so we got the best of both worlds with the sweet and savory. DJ Toksik was great with the music selection! Will definitely be back. read more

Tried this location once and the Service was very bad and slow. Thought maybe it was just a bad day for them. Tried this location again one more time and this time the Service was just as bad and extremely poor. Manager (She) had a very Condescending Attitude, we got up and walked out. Service individuals have a habit of all hiding in the kitchen. Hard to get help and someones attention. Good Luck Everyone read more

Loved the vibe. Art on the walls is unique. Liked the DJ vibe. The music was at a nice volume so we could still chat. We both had biscuits and gravy. The portion was pretty big and we took a bunch home. Nice and creamy. A little less peppery than I'm used to but I just added some black pepper and it was nice. Biscuits were buttery, flaky, and delicious. We also got the cannoli donuts and they were delicious too but a good portion with 3 full size donuts. We're planning to just share the biscuits and gravy so we can enjoy the full order of donuts next time. Overall nice experience. Good energy. Not over crowded. We'll be back! read more

Holy Yum! We're in town for the day and we were starving. Our fam of 3 agreed unanimously that we MUST give an amazing review for Hash Kitchen. We got Chilaquiles, a Craft Plate, Avocado Toast, lattes, AND a Bloody Mary from the bloody Mary bar. What?!!! A bloody mary bar! What a concept! You mix n match mixes, vodkas, or in my case, tequila, and then get to make your own skewers. The blue cheese olives were so good! They even have bacon! Food was great! Service was great! Lattes spot on! And my bloody mary creation was OUTSTANDING! Loved everything about Hash Kitchen! Bring the concept to the east coast! You'd thrive in Annapolis, MD! read more

Trendy spot with loud music. Good menu with a variety of options. I was excited to see the Bloody Mary bar although I have not yet tried it. Walking in, it took a while for us to be greeted and seated. It wasn't overly busy, but there was still a decent crowd. Once we were seated, our server was friendly and attentive. My son and I have the same birthday so we decided on Hash Kitchen for our birthday brunch. Our experience soso. We did let the hostess now it was our birthday brunch. We sat outside it was nice, dj was vibing. The server was nice. We order 4 entrees and a starter. Two of the entrees I ordered after our meal to take home. I feel bad because I did hype this place up and it was lackluster. It was so much better the first time I came here. It was probably a year ago now so I should have expected it to be different I guess. The Ube dream pancakes did not come with the ube cream or fresh blueberries, only compote. The cannoli donuts were pretty good, very rich but not too sweet. The Huevos Rancheros Hash * and The F#*%ing Birria Hash were both pretty good. The Chilaquiles * were so-so, much better the first time I tried it. The chicken tinga on it was flavorful and tender. read more

Flew into Phoenix from Las Vegas and was stopping by for some brunch before heading back home. Great black & white decor w/hip trendy wall art graffiti. Cool, fun upscale friendly vibe. Unique twists on food and drinks. They have a build your own bloody mary bar & I got the champagne mimosa flight (4) w/additional cotton candy topping w/shimmer glitter-so cute looking & fruity. Def had to get the Billionaire Bacon w/24 Karat gold flakes, the Classic BLT, & my guest got the Mexican omelet & a bloody mary. Fresh hot food, good happy vibes, great music to jam to. Hubby and I had our anniversary brunch here about 2 weeks ago and we absolutely loved it. We went on a Monday and I thought that it wouldn't be busy. Yeah, I was wrong about that lol. It was decently packed and we waited about 5 minutes before getting seated. Definitely not bad by any means. I would imagine this place being crazy busy on weekends. Our entrees came out super fast, hot, and fresh. I was really impressed by this and their generous portions. Hubby was able to finish his while I took half of mine home for a meal later in the day. I was also expecting to spend a small fortune for this outing but it turned out to be really affordable. You can dine here on a budget; you just need to do some careful planning ahead of time. This is a clubby, energetic ambiance - even during weekdays. I remember reading older reviews with complaints about it, especially over weekends being super loud and uncomfortable. If you want a quieter, slower paced experience - visit during the week. If you want a more energetic experience or don't mind it, then weekends will be a great fit. We would love to come back to try out new things. Thank you staff for a great first visit! read more

You have to understand and accept the vibe here at Hash before you go. It's fun and trendy which means loud and pricey. Buuuut, the food is delicious, the menu creative and the service, on point. A fun place for a weekend brunch with friends but not so much if you just want to eat your food without the over the top LOUD music and everyone in the entire restaurant yelling to be heard over it. I go here on occasion by myself (during the work week when it's a little more chill) for the "Art Mollen Scrambler" or their Chilaquiles. Both INSANELY delicious and almost always cooked to perfection. The eggs were overcooked and thus had a sulfuric taste on my last visit and sadly, the Chilaquiles are 80% corn chips and only on the tip of the corn chip iceberg rests the good stuff. They've definitely mastered the art of illusion (see attached photos). Beautiful presentation, excellent depths of flavor with the chicken tinga, crema and pickled vegetables. But all that waste gives me the cringe. Shoutout! My boy Cooper at the bar is the best! read more

We came for Sunday brunch and it was very loud. A DJ performs on weekends, I believe. Good luck having a conversation across the table. But we got through it. Be careful when reserving a wait time, there are 2 Hash Kitchens in Peoria, but the staff were still great to seat us. If you want less noise, head outside. Warm but able to hear. lol! Our waitress was very nice. The only bummer was appetizer came at same time as meal, but we enjoyed as a dessert after our meals. We had the biscuits and gravy which provides a good amount of food. I gave my eggs to the husband since those are not for me. But cooked well! My husband and friend had the Good AF breakfast. A good mix of eggs, bacon, hash browns and pancakes. We had the cannoli donuts which were good, not super fresh but still tasted well. I hear during the week is nicer without the loud music. Mimosa 4 samples were very popular in the restaurant and a Bloody Mary bar was great for people to get lots of options to go with their drink. read more

Was craving some pancakes and was heading to the iHop around the corner from this joint. I have been wanted to try Hash Kitchen so I decided to cure my urge here. Was greeted promptly and with enthusiasm. Good start. Asked to sit at the bar and was obliged. Bartender was wonderful and provided great attentiveness to my needs through out my dining experience. I ordered a Large Tomato Juice at the heavy price of $5.25... ouch!! Ordered some coffee too at $3.75... Coffee was pretty tasty, but no flavored creamers. I think for the price, flavored creamers are in order . For food I ordered the Americano Omelet with a short stack of pancakes. Let's talk Omelet... With someone in the kitchen that called themself "Chef Joey" one would expect some special attention to every dish that comes out of the kitchen... Was not my opinion or experience of this omelet. Eggs were very dry and flat. Ingredients were not well distributed or blended... looked like the eggs were cooked in a small skillet and then the ingredients were dumped in prior to plating. Was not impressive and the taste was nothing to boast about (pic below). I also ordered a short stack... Wish I would have went to iHop. The pancakes look as if they are made with almond flour or something like that?? A little different. No butter and a tiny amount of syrup. Just kind of "meh".... I do dig the ambiance and decor of the joint. My rating was raised to a 3 because of the great service the bartender gave me. She saved the entire experience. Well done Chica!! read more

The service is awful. The wait for the table was fine but we are still waiting for our food. The restaurant doesn't seem that crowded. Used their online waitlist, left home to arrive at the minimum wait time given (15-25 minutes) & once arrived, told another 15 minutes despite empty tables & only one couple in front of us. Proceeded to watch another 4 parties be seated before us. Inquired at host stand after 20 minutes. They obviously forgot us so apologized & finally seated us. They asked for a review via email so I mentioned this issue. It was mostly a standard form apology but then at the end, suggested we "please take advantage of our waitlist". Huh? Did you not actually read what I said? One dish, a skillet, was barely eaten because it was too salty, the other meal was fine because it was just an omelette & hard to screw up. It was our 3rd time here because we wanted to give it one more opportunity to impress us but sadly they never have in 3 visits. We won't be back. read more
