Beautifully designed from layout to decor. From management to service staff, everyone was kind and professional. My coffee cup was never empty, and the biscuits were light and fluffy. The biscuits were served with homemade jam. The zesty chorizo omelet with salsa and sour cream was seasoned perfectly. The hashbrowns were golden and crispy. This is my favorite location.

Big and beautiful restaurant with a modern and simple, welcoming ambiance with plenty of seating options and a bar section. Fast, friendly and welcoming service accompanied with and menu full of breakfast and lunch options. food is served quickly and the portions and large. The eggs are cooked perfect as well as the hash browns and sausage. The pancakes were golden brown and amazing. My wife really liked her country potatoes but the highlight of the menu was the homemade jelly. It is so amazing and this is great breakfast spot that will leave you satisfied and full!!

I've been going to this location for years, I've always had an extremely positive experience. The staff are friendly, professional, and just do an amazing job. The atmosphere is nice, it's easy to enjoy a conversation. The tables, floors, bathroom and dining ware are always clean and well maintained. And most importantly, the reason I go is because the food is absolutely delicious. It's always fresh and exactly as advertised. I've never had anything sent back. I've never had a problem with anything on my plate. Absolutely consistently exceptional service. Oh my last visit I had the French toast flight and got to choose four different flavors of French toast. The appearance of it was amazing and the taste exceeded my expectations. Almond French toast is now my new favorite.

We came with out-of-town friends for breakfast after a few intense Pickleball games. We started out splitting a huge Cinnamon Roll. 3 of us had a piece and there was still enough left to take home. All the servings of all the plates were big, and we all needed take home boxes. The food was excellent and the service was great. My coffee cup was never empty. Biscuits may be a little more expensive than the other breakfast options, but well worth it, especially since you might have enough left over for lunch!

This food is so overpriced and not good. We came for brunch and had to move outside after being seated at a table in the corner when the place was pretty empty next to a very rude group of people. The table outside was dirty and it and the chairs were covered in bird poo. I got an omelette with a side of hollandaise sauce and it was very gummy and had no flavor. The biscuit is good and the omelette had a decent amount of filling. Overall IMO not worth the price.

This is a nice coffee shop that has a good sized restaurant area with ample space for seating different sized parties. They offer good portions at average prices but I have not found a special item on the item yet that would give me a compelling reason to come back next week. My wife and I shared a plate. We ordered the BYOB (build your own breakfast) combo. It came with pancakes, a couple pieces of bacon, eggs, and smothered hash browns (the plain hashbrowns were included as a regular part of the meal, however for a $2 up charge they will add cheese, scallions, and sour cream on top of their traditional hash browns... it wasn't worth it in my opinion). I liked the pancakes and bacon and would order them again. However the rest of my food tasted pretty unimpressive. The scrambled eggs were a little dry and bland. The smothered hash browns didn't taste very good. The basic hashbrowns tasted oily and kind of stale as if they have been fried on a grill that had not been properly cleaned in a while. I don't want to give the wrong impression. There were a lot of people at this restaurant and many of them seem to be enjoying their meals and this was only my first time. Sometime when I decide to try them again I will definitely try a few other things on the breakfast menu I'm sure I will find some things that I like much more than the first plate that I ordered when we were there last time. I gave them a three because I felt like there was a little bit of room to improve as far as the flavor of the food on the breakfast menu. I am of the opinion that if you have a diner or a coffee shop, there are some things that you just have to nail every time you have to get the eggs right you have to get the french fries or Country potatoes right you have to have a great mix of sweet and savory items such as pancakes, waffles bacon, sausage, country, fried steak, eggs.

Not sure why everyone raves about this place. The service is not great and it's outrageously expensive. We were sat in a corner next to other people when the place was empty. Loud inappropriate conversations led us to ask to sit outside after we ordered. At least it didn't smell like dirty mop water outside but there was bird poop all over the outside tables and chairs. I got the build your own with 3 options and it was almost $14. Others in my party got Benedicts and omelettes and they were over $20. There's no reason why a plate of breakfast should cost $20. Won't be going back.

Biscuits Cafe has become one of our favorite breakfast spots in the valley!! The staff are always so friendly and welcoming. The portions are great for the price and the food is so delicious. I had to ask our server about the strawberry jam that comes with the toast... it is TO DIE for!!! She let us know that it's Biscuits' jam made fresh in house; they make strawberry, raspberry, and marionberry, and pints are available for purchase!! The restaurant itself is always clean, noise level is pretty loud considering how busy it always is, and there is plenty of parking outside for convenience. Thanks so much and we'll definitely be back!

A very solid cafe. The staff accommodated us quickly, took our order quickly and served us quickly. The ambiance is not that great, but I think the theme of Biscuits is to accommodate a-lot of people and to serve them quickly. They accomplished these tasks really well. The food was good. I had a hamburger. The beef had a great flavor and the ingredients seemed fresh. The onion rings were obviously made in house and were very good. My wife had an omelette and hash browns. She said it was really good as well. The only shortcoming that I saw was that there were not so many combos offered such as chicken fried steak and eggs. Everything was great! Great service, great food at great speed!

What I appreciate most is the kindness hidden in the menu. Coconut milk, oat milk, dairy-free options, gluten-free bread, syrups for every mood--it never feels like you're asking for a substitute. It feels like you're being welcomed. Every menu choice seems to whisper, "You belong here too." The avocado toast was extraordinary. Sweet, refreshing, and full of real flavor without tasting artificial. The iced passion tea with raspberry was perfectly mixed... not too sweet, not watered down, just the right blend of flavors and refreshing. You can tell they care about quality here. They use organic, high quality ingredients, and the taste really says it all. I also noticed they have food, smoothies, pastries, and grab and go drinks, and now I'm determined to come back and try more. I recently had to be in the downtown Glendale area - the Yelp machine recommended I hit up Blue Corn Cafe. There's some development / construction in the downtown area so parking is a little limited. However - I was able to snag a spot right along 58th Ave and get a good view of all the cute shops to check out at a later date. Blue Corn was surprisingly busy that morning due to hosting a Coffee with Cops event. I got the low down from a few of the GPD staff that they are consistently rated as one of the best cafes in the city, maybe even the West Valley. They have recently-ish opened up a second location in DT Mesa, which definitely fits their vibe. I was told the owner gets up early every day to bake - I love the dedication to his craft. Like many mom and pops, there are times when quantities are limited. So ofc I had to buy some baked goods to go for my work team! Their muffins are HUGE - like 2 -3 servings per *singular* muffin. I didn't know what I was getting into when I bought 6... hello carb heaven for us. I noticed a lot of sweet and savory options - croissant sandwiches, cookies, you name it. Definitely the muffins were well-enjoyed by all (PSL, lemon-blueberry, red velvet), and the general consensus was lemon blueberry as the winner. It's a small space with not a lot of seating options however there appears to be a back patio that might be shared with other restaurants. I couldn't get a view on my way out. Cannot wait for the next time that I'm in the area to grab more sweets!
