Service was great, they answered our questions and gave us recommendations. It's very much a typical breakfast spot as nothing stood out the most from their menu. Out of all the French toast flavors, fruity pebbles was the only one worth it. Cornbeef hash is made in house but the best thing on the plate was the hashbrowns and the biscuit. read more

The food is ok, we choose to sit on the patio and there doesn't seem to be a good system for incorporating those tables into the waitresses flow. We end up spending a lot of time waiting for small things or even just to place an initial order. The hash browns and red potatoes are just ok. Server was pleasant and knowledgeable. My breakfast burrito was chock full of egg, veggies, refried beans, and a very flavorful chorizo. Many breakfasts come with a choice of red potatoes or hash browns. I first ordered the reds, but changed to hash browns. The burrito arrived with red potatoes. Our server apologized for the mixup and shortly brought an order of hash browns. Pretty good customer service! I'll be nice and give two stars but honestly, we have had a better breakfast at Jack in the Box. The eggs whites were runny, when we asked for no runny white ("over medium, no runny whites in the eggs please"), and one egg was served with a broken yolk. The ham tasted like it was boiled, no char or flavor, like it never hit the grill. The BISCUITS (Biscuits Cafe so we expected amazing biscuits) were crunchy on the outside, and dry on the inside. The hash browns were just average. I assume they are frozen shreds. Why is this place so busy??? The atmosphere is not warm and welcoming. It is very clean, and I enjoyed the very clean and huge windows, but it was kind of like a hospital feel, very light colors and minimal decor. The host kept YELLING "so and so - party of four" or whatever. It was crazy, like get some gadgets to hand out to people to notify them when their table is ready instead of yelling!! This place is much smaller than expected and voices carry, okay?! LOL!! I LOVE listening to music when dining out, but we could not hear any. Maybe there was music, but the noise level was too loud and drowned it out?? Too many people in a small area and people even waiting outside. WHY?? Our server was very evasive to everyone. She kept passing by but did not make eye contact (in an awkward way - like "don't bother me right now.") She was very minimal with her service, but adequate. It looked pretty good, except the hollandaise sauce was drowning the poor benedict. I liked the sauce, but I want to taste what's under it, too. Unfortunately, my poached eggs were overcooked, so no runny yolk, which is part of the fun (in my opinion) of a good benedict. The avocado was fresh and the biscuits were on point...the best part of the dish! My hash browns were also cooked perfectly. We ended our meal with a shared cinnamon bun...yummy!!!! The ambiance of the restaurant was reminiscent of a 50's diner, but updated and larger. Their motto is "We don't serve fast food. We serve fresh food fast. ". They definitely live up to the motto. I ordered an avocado Benedict and my friend ordered fish and chips. Both were awesome, both in presentation and taste. Servings are generous. All the staff wear masks but the customers are not required to it's up to you. Despite what their name implies, they are open for lunch and dinner, with a happy hour from 2 to 5 pm. Ok, 2nd visit review. Cooking on a flattop, you either got it or you don't. Hash browns should be crispy AND buttery. (Everything is better with butter). Over medium eggs should be a snap, no runny whites should be seen. I sometimes wish I could go in back to show them how its done. The kielbasa was very good and wheat toast with their own strawberry jam was tasty. Wife ordered strawberry waffle with whipped cream. She only gave it 4 stars. As it is served with fresh sliced strawberries with no strawberry syrup or puree. There is nothing wrong with fresh berries as long as you use sweet ripe berries. Nobody thought to check for either in this vase. She opted for 4 stars because the waffle was very tasty with the maple syrup provided. The side of bacon was really good. We came here after seeing my mom in a local care facility. They are taking good steps to keep people separated and encourage social distancing. Such as high windows between booths and sanitizing between people. When you walk in there is a sign posted that states "We don't make fast food, we make fresh food as fast as we can" Take this to heart as for breakfast food it takes a LONG time to get your food. The restaurant was at approximately 65% capacity and didn't seem overly packed. Not sure how it was in the kitchen, but my family ordered 2 chicken and waffles, some kids tenders and myself a biscuit and gravy with sausage and hasbrowns. The food took over 50 minutes to get to us. The food did look fresh, outside my sausage patty, it was hard as a hockey puck and just as dark, they did bring me another one, but the food took FOREVER. The server was good, my son for whatever reaosn decided ketchup belonged in the sugar, we asked her how he could help since he messed it up and she walked him to the back to clean out and refill the sugar, which was nice of her and reinforced good behavior. It was made from scratch, very original but it had a distinct mild flavor that I did not like. I just was used to the can type corn beef hash that you fried and crispy on the ends. Everything else was quite good and you got a bunch of food. My wife ordered the Cinnamon Roll French Toast Combo she, it had thick crisp bacon and was very good. My daughter had the chorizo tacos which she just loved. Our server was just awesome and we needed nothing, she brought sugar and different flavorings for the coffee, salt & pepper and extra syrup to our table. Let's start with the service and restaurant appearance. The restaurant was pretty clean and had signs on the tables saying they were clean and ready for use. Considering it's an old QT building, they made it look nice and country looking. Now, on to the service. Our server was Deana and she was very friendly, courteous and helpful with the menu. On to the food. The Cinnamon Roll French Toast Combo was very good and tasty. They just didn't taste right. The French Toast was very good and the highlight of our order. The Breakfast Tacos with chorizo were also pretty good and tasty. The low point was the hash browns. As they just didn't taste right. Breakfast Sliders plate with bacon. Hi all Been here a couple times, 1st visit wasn't so good. I ordered the veggie omelette w/potatoes. Huge Gob of cream cheese in the middle, not even melted and the potatoes were greasy as heck! Hubby had a ham and cheese omelette and wasn't pleased either. It was overcooked and the potatoes gave him terrible acid reflux afterwards ‍ 2nd visit was better. I was with a GF and ordered the avocado toast, cup of soup and side of fruit (I was hungry). Chicken tortilla Soup had great flavor and I used the avocado toast for dunking.
