For the past 4 years we have driven past Donutsville every week and we finally made a stop to try out their donuts. We arrived at ~ 6am on a Tuesday and were promptly greeted. We chose our donuts and were asked if it was "to go" or to "eat in". She placed the donuts directly onto plastic serving baskets without wax paper to keep the donut from touching the basket. The drive-thru is a joke...broken intercom with handwritten notes to drive to window where you wait for ungodly time Fran for someone to acknowledge you with a stressed annoyed look on their face and then wait another 3-5 more mins for them to take your order. Disappointed patron. About 4 months ago my family and I thought something was up, as things seemed to change with Donutsville. They stopped staying open till 2pm and switched to closing when they run out of donuts., and they stopped making second batches which means they run out quick and close up shop. Then we noticed the pricing seeming to go up, shortly after we noticed the donuts get significantly small... so we get a lot less product for the price which again seems to have gone up. The location is a a wreck, it's falling apart, there is all kinds of trash left outside by the drive through, it's a disaster, it seems like all pride in this business has dropped and profit is not a focus, even if it means the experience is drastically reduced. From one business owner to another, it's obvious this place is under new ownership and the new owners are trimming down the quality of the product to make money... Super disappointing. I went here for the first time this past weekend and it seems like a popular pick! There was a long line and decent selections at 930 on a Saturday. The staff were all helpful and moved pretty fast despite the long line. They had a drive thru and you can sit inside and eat if you want. They had a huge selection! I was glad I went in to see all the options. The strawberry cruller and nutter fluffer were both sensational! I've never seen those flavors before. Best bet for a local donut spot in the area. Donuts are fresh made and they have a great selection with all of the standard options and some cool specialty ones as well. PB&J is one of my favorites and they also have a croissant donut which isn't easily found! Drive thru is a nice plus as well and the staff is typically nice. read more

If you want the old Donutsville quality I suggest driving to Glaze Donuts or the Local Donut- I used to love the donuts here but the quality has gone down hill.. it's $6 for three donuts and this is the kind of quality you get.. $7 for a breakfast sandwich with microwaved meat and eggs and a hard bagel. Clean, clean, clean inside this place--altho I am a usual drive-thru person 2x a month--I did go in and see for myself last visit. Speaking of the drive thru, I hit it about 2x a month as I said, and I have always driven away smiling. This place has the nicest, friendlies, most caring kids at the drive-thru window. Was excited to share this place with friends who were new to the area, but was embarrassed that we had recommended it twice to friends visiting us and moving her. We hadn't been since before Covid and finally wanted to come back and introduce potential new customers to the place, since we had loved coming before then. Came in twice in one week due to having two sets of different friends visting and found the same things on both days - only about 9 varieties of donuts to choose from even tho' we were there around 11 am on both days. Just donuts, nothing else special. No fresh coffee. Coffee area messy with lukewarm coffee and no napkins. Dining area full of crumbs and garbage on the floor. Women's bathroom on both days - garbage completely full and obviously just getting pushed down. Bathroom floor filthy. First day it looked like only had 2 employees working, so excused the mess due to lack of workers. Second day, saw 5 employees standing around. With 5 employees, why were the floors and bathrooms filthy???? The donuts everyone had were very good - the best we've ever had when compared to other fresh donut shops, but it was frustrating that none of the items that are offered on the menu were available to order. If it was close to closing time, that would make sense, but to have barely any choices available at 11 am didn't make any sense. We apologized to our friends for recommending such a dirty place. We decided to start our weekend off right and try donuts from Donutsville today. Since we don't need to eat an entire dozen we opted for the the half dozen which was the perfect amount for our family of 4. The donuts are all handmade and fresh. The taste is amazing compared to other donuts I have had where they were too heavy or greasy feeling, these were a perfect balance. We opted for tutti-frutti, Boston cream, buttercream filled, and a special "Nutter Butter" style donut. All of them were great and didn't last long at all. The staff was friendly and helpful. The price compared to other places was a bit steep (about 10 for half dozen), but they were worth it and a couple were specialty ones. We will be back. read more

I was VERY disappointed when I visited today. It's a tradition to bring my grandkids when they come in from out of town as the used to visit the store frequently when they lived here. Upon pulling up to the store, the trash was overflowing and there was trash all over the ground which had attracted several birds. I didn't even want to touch the door handle as it was too very dirty but then once inside I was appalled at the windows and how disgusting they looked. It's as though they hadn't been cleaned since the store opened for its first customer. I was very kind explaining to the young girl behind the counter that first impressions can dictate a business whether they make it or not. She proceeded to tell me that there was new management that had taken over and that she would tell the manager when he came to the store. Mind you... there was no one in the store but me and my granddaughter so clearly there was time to tidy up things but apparently that was going to be left up to the new manager. Protip: if you order a dozen or half dozen French crullers, they come in an assortment of different flavors like plain, chocolate, strawberry, and maple. I'm not mad I didn't get all plain crullers like I would get at DD, because each flavor is excellent with a medium house coffee with two sugars and two creams. I've plus the service was fast.
