We have used Cotoia Catering for a number of things over the years, but we just keep coming back for the pupusas! Highly recommended!

My daughter and her fiancé woke up on their wedding day with Covid, so Jacque and her team had to work hard to change from a buffet to plated dinner.

Watched staff meticulously prep tables for next seating. Clean restrooms. 4 stars. Service-Epic. From front to back, end to end some of the best service in my life. No cap. The restaurant was packed. Hostess was polite and attentive. Jonathan in the bar area got us drinks as fast as he could...also extremely polite. Brianna was one of the best ever. No errors, smile that lights up a room, attentive and sharp. 10 out of 10. 5 stars. Food- THE best cheesesteak eggrolls ever. Fantastic starter. Great Wedge...plethora of bleu cheese, bacon, sweet tomatoes. Prime rib was delicious, generous portion of parm mashed potatoes. Great meal, extremely fair price. 5 stars.

Don't bother making a reservation on the weekend, it won't make a difference. We had a 7:00 PM…read morereservation and didn't get seated until 7:30. Our server, John (a.k.a. Houdini), was almost impossible to find. It honestly felt like he had a timer set to check on us every 20 minutes. Sit down, water. Disappears. 20 minutes later, takes our order. Gone again. Food arrives, quick check-in. Then... gone. We sat there another 20 minutes just trying to pay, basically held hostage waiting for the check. At one point, we flagged down another employee, a woman with a choker and a forearm tattoo, and asked if we could pay. She said, "I'll find him." Spoiler, she didn't. Meanwhile, Houdini magically reappears to drop off dessert at the table next to us, then pulls off a tactical spin move to avoid eye contact with our table entirely. Impressive, honestly. Eventually, a new table gets seated next to us and suddenly, poof, he's back. But instead of helping us, he goes straight into a pitch about the lobster queso (which, by the way, wasn't very good). We finally had to flag down a host who literally told our waiter we just wanted to leave. After about two hours in what can only be described as mediocre restaurant purgatory, we were finally able to pay and get out. Bottom line, slow service, poor attention, and food that doesn't make up for it. Not worth it.

The ground steak was of the highest quality, medium and full of flavor. The grits were runny and totally not acceptable. I even Googled it and grits are not supposed to be runny, but rather thick and creamy. I lived in the deep south for 18 years and have also made them many times over the years. I won't be ordering them again there.

The atmosphere was so very laid back which was relaxing for a larger family. The fried pickles breading was thicker than I was expecting but provided a nice balance and were very crispy. The steak fries were crispy from the time they brought them out to the time we packed up. My kids loved the kids meal shrimp. Not too bready and nice and crispy. The chicken sandwich was ginormous! AND crispy and still juicy. The fried chicken was tender and perfectly cooked. The Mac and cheese was creamy. The green beans were a little disappointing for me, I thought they were to acidic. The meatloaf had good depth of flavor and wasn't dry. The steak had a great sear on it and was still medium rare. Great unique Not pictured were the biscuits. As far as breakfast restaurants, it is close to the best biscuits we have had. 3*** = Good but no separation from similar shops 4**** = Set themselves a part with tastiness 5*****= You have to go out of your way and make a special trip to try the deliciousness that is there!

You order at the counter, and they bring the food to you. The service is great, and the paninis are amazing. I love their pizzas too, but the paninis really steal the show. My favorite is the Piccante. The mild, creamy cheese paired with sweet caramelized onions and spicy salami creates the perfect balance of flavor. I highly recommend checking it out. It is so worth it.

The staff claimed they didn't receive it but door dash adamantly stated it was cancelled by the restaurant and they could see it on their end- I emailed about this and no response. Tonight we called ahead and asked how late they took to go orders And they told us 830. We called at 815 to place an order and they told us their kitchen was closed. Same person we spoke to 1 hour prior. We called ahead to make sure to plan our dinner time. I consider this poor service now that it's happened twice and I felt the first time we were lied to and it was never addressed. Food can be great but if customer service is bad, it makes the overall experience poor. Very disappointing - as we love the restaurant and we live right in this neighborhood and love supporting our local businesses.

There wasn't anything that stood out about the sides, they were just okay. Our server was very pleasant, she had a large table of 12 in addition to us and other 'regular' sized tops, so her visits back to our table were less frequent then we would have liked. One thing we base service on is whether our beverages are refilled before they are finished and we had to ask a runner to refill our beverages because we hadn't seen our server for sometime. We came to this restaurant because it was close to where we were staying and we wanted a good steak. They have an extensive wine list and of course bourbon.

Bourbon & Bones - Worth Every Penny…read more We were looking for a special place to celebrate my birthday and wanted to try something new. I've been really into bourbon the last few years, so a great steak and an excellent Old Fashioned were high on my list. I was thrilled to snag reservations at Bourbon & Bones just a few days out. I requested a booth in the special requests, and when we arrived they already had a beautiful booth set aside for us, which was a great start to the night. The atmosphere is intimate, upscale, and welcoming without feeling stuffy. Our waitress, Kailyn, was fantastic -- attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely pleasant -- and she was supported by William, who was equally great. Our friends were running late, but we never felt rushed or pressured, which really allowed us to enjoy the experience. We were greeted with crusty bread, whipped butter, and salted pretzel breadsticks -- all excellent. The bourbon and whiskey list is massive, easily the most extensive I've ever seen at a restaurant . I started with their Pre-Prohibition Old Fashioned, which normally comes with Knob Creek 12, but they happily let me swap in Michter's American US*1. It was very good. Later, my buddy and I tried the Imperial Old Fashioned, a barrel-aged cocktail that can be served smoked tableside. The presentation was impressive, and the flavor lived up to it. Easily one of the best Old Fashioneds I've ever had . For appetizers, everything was a hit. My wife loved the short rib martinis so much she ordered a second. I had the jumbo shrimp cocktail from the raw bar, and they were the best shrimp cocktail I've ever had. As expected with a high-end steakhouse, sides are served à la carte and meant for sharing. We ordered the mac & cheese, sweet potato casserole, and I also had a jumbo short rib baked potato plus a cup of French onion soup, which was outstanding. For my entrée, I ordered the 10oz filet Oscar style with crab and hollandaise . The steak was cooked perfectly -- juicy, tender, and beautifully crusted -- and the crab was a perfect addition. The baked potato was massive and had to come home with me. The sweet potato casserole reminded me of Thanksgiving with an amazing brown sugar crust on top. This was the most expensive meal I've ever had, but the food, service, atmosphere, and overall experience made it worth every penny. A perfect spot for a celebration, and I would absolutely return. Clean restaurant, great atmosphere, phenomenal staff -- five stars without hesitation.
