If you're looking for the time of your life, look here!! We just got married October 23 2021 and I cannot say anything better about our amazing DJ/MC JOHN!!! He communicated very thoroughly with us the day of our wedding, from clarification on little things to telling us what is next for events. He warned us that after the first dance, things were gonna fly by and they sure did. We had so many guests tell us how amazing our DJ was. We love you John and hope one day to attend a wedding and see you as their DJ! We added purplish white uplighting & a custom monogram... 1000% the extra $. Thank you GYC for making our wedding wishes and dreams come true! read more

We highly recommend! We had Zakara dj for our wedding. She was incredibly on top of everything. She had so many helpful recommendations in terms of creating the playlist. She had very clear idea of what I wanted. I had zero stress with her. She actually helped me reduce any stress of wedding planning. She was amazing on the day of. I loved working with her! read more

Got You Covered Entertainment - DJs Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

High energy DJ. Easy to use portal. Top notch customer service.  Got You Covered gave us the most amazing experience at our wedding. Andre was great and he continued to check in with us throughout the night to make sure everything was okay. He got people out on the dance floor that we didn't think were going to be out on the dance floor. He had great games, was an amazing hype man, and had impeccable clothing style. He went along with all of our crazy ideas and in fact enjoyed them himself. He added an element of pizzazz to our wedding! In the words of most of our friends, "this was the best and most fun wedding we have ever been to! Can we get the name of your DJ?" read more

I recently went to an event with a DJ from this company and the girl was rude and almost like changing the vibe on purpose, she would play a great song and everyone would stand up and dance and then change it ti a slow song and everyone would go and sit and she wouldn't care, she would just keep playing all the songs. Would not recommend their blonde woman DJ read more

Unfortunately, our aisle song, entrance song into the reception, cocktail hour songs, and recessional song were not played for some reason. The playlist we provided for the reception was mostly ignored and the DJ forgot our names as we were introduced as "Mr and Mrs...................................". We are extremely disappointed since these are all major moments for us that we invested a lot of money into and you only get once in a lifetime. read more

As the name of this company suggests, they really do "got you covered" with all of your entertainment needs. Eric was easy to work with and went above and beyond to make sure my needs were met when I used them to provide some unique entertainment at an event I recently planned. Eric and his staff are professional, friendly, and experienced... they offer all kinds of services from live musicians, magicians, photographers, entertainers including fire dancers and breathers, and much more. If you are looking for a special touch for your event or party, give these guys a call... read more

We just had our wedding a couple of days ago and had Andre as your DJ!! He was the best DJ ever start to finish. All of our guest were impressed as well! He was very entertaining and help keep the party going! The whole process with the company and Andre was easy and first class! 100% would recommend for your wedding! read more

You guys were awesome from beginning to end. Would highly recommend! David our DJ was really great. Very in tune to all details up to the last minute. The entire staff was wonderful. Heart felt thanks for a job well done ! read more

Looking back at these reviews I realize why I chose to go with this company for my wedding and am perplexed at why my experience was so different. I never did meet Eric, but I really felt great about choosing Got You Covered after my meeting with Sloane. She assured me that this was a top notch outfit and that ALL of their DJs were highly professional and organized. NOT Initially, our DJ was slow to respond to emails, which was the first red flag. I scheduled a meeting with our venue, caterer and DJ. He was 15 minutes late to the meeting and later explained that he had a late night gig and a spin class earlier in the day. He was unprepared for the meeting asking us about our first dance, etc. I had already filled this out in their portal but he said that he didn't really use the portal for a wedding our size (70 ppl). I reached back out to Sloane to express my concerns and she assured me that he was going to do a great job for us. My understanding and expectation was that he would coordinate the entire evening and reach out to our vendors with a timeline, etc. He never reached out to anyone. During the wedding/reception, he played the wrong music during processional, and played one song three times during dinner, once back to back. The only good music was what I had selected. Everything else was the same tired music you hear at every wedding. The entire evening felt uncoordinated. He did not engage our guests beyond a game of "who eats first." Guests did not know where to get their food or what was coming next. We toasted our guests and wanted to open the floor to anyone who wanted to toast us. He left the mic on our sweetheart table up on stage so guests would have to come up if they wanted to say anything. It was extremely awkward. He forgot dessert and when I mentioned it, told me it was not on his agenda (which I admit I approved but he had received the plan via email, his preferred method of communication). The ONLY thing I worried about the entire evening was my DJ. He was disengaged and disinterested and it showed. The worst part is that I was asked to complete a survey when all was said and done. I did this, mentioning much of what is here. I followed up a week later asking if they had received my survey and three weeks later, no one has responded. Even knowing I had concerns upfront, no follow up. Thus, the unfortunate need for this review. Beware. read more

I can't say enough good things are this company!!! We had such an amazing experience with Got You Covered. Everything from the first conversation to our wedding day went smooth! Very professional and the communication was top notch! Cordero was our DJ and he was FANTASTIC! Great energy and overall good vibe from him! We have recommended Got You Covered to several friends who are getting married!! Photo booth staff were friendly and patient! Our guests were impressed! THANK YOU AGAIN FOR MAKING OUR DAY SO AMAZING! read more

I used Got You Covered last weekend for my wedding! Our DJ, David Scott, was absolutely fantastic. We got married on a golf course and intended to have our reception outside as well. A massive storm came through and we had to switch things up day of and turn a completely outdoor wedding into a somewhat covered wedding with tents, umbrellas, etc. David's plans had to change 3 hours prior to our ceremony due to the rain. He was incredibly flexible and did an amazing job. He was knowledgeable, kind, and all together a great addition! Not only was he helpful day of, he helped me during my last couple months of planning and provided good ideas and insight. Our wedding turned out to be amazing and David along with Got You Covered Entertainment contributed to this immensely!! read more

Eric and his crew are awesome! He really hooked it up. Our DJ was Hunter, and he was perfect!!! On time, respectful, fun, got all the songs I chose and when to play them exactly how I wanted it. This young man eased my mind and was wonderful to work with. We are hiring him for all our events. Thank you GYC and Hunter! They really do GYC! Also, ask them about their cake maker, Barb. She did not only make a beautiful cake but delicious too!! read more

They did an awesome job DJ'ing our wedding. We could not recommend them enough! They provided a fun atmosphere for all of our guests.

Rob was so fabulous to work with! He was on time, prepared, friendly, and got everyone on the dancefloor in a flash of an eye and kept the party going all night! It is so nice as a planner to work with dependable vendors who help make the night run smoothly and Rob did just that. We would be thrilled to work with him, or his company again! Cant recommend him enough as a DJ. Thanks Rob! -The Sip and Twirl team read more

Eric at Got You Covered! was the master of ceremonies for our wedding and I have to say as far as DJs go, you couldn't ask for better. Eric is fabulous! He was open to all of my and mu hubby's oddball ideas, he rolled with the spur of the moment changes and he kept the party going. So many of our guests said that our reception was the best that they had ever attended and I have to attribute a large part of the praise to Eric. He was very communicative throughout the entire planning process, he was comfortable directing the flow of the ceremony, which is very important and he is well worth every penny, probably more! We are thinking of having another party in Phoenix just so we can work with Eric again. He ROCKS! read more

Eric at Got You Covered was the DJ for my husband's sister's wedding and we danced all night at her wedding. When it came time for us to book our own wedding DJ, there was no question who we would reach out to. We had a date in mind for our big day when we first met with Eric. He wasn't available that date so we changed the date of our wedding, just so he could be our DJ. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, he is that good. Eric and team set up a crazy-talented acoustic guitarist for our ceremony which set the tone exactly how we had imagined. We danced the night away at our reception and received so many compliments on the music. Thank you Eric and team!! Our wedding would not be nearly as fun or magical without your help. read more

Highly recommend. Used them for a ceremony and wedding DJ and also added the photo booth to reception. DJ Zakara was awesome! Made us feel at ease, listened to us to get our vibe and was just awesome! Very happy and would highly recommend GotYouCovered and her for your event. read more

I am so thankful we had the opportunity to work with Cordero on our wedding day. He was the best DJ and emcee we could have asked for! Cordero honestly made planning from afar and the day of our wedding stress-free. He timed our walk down the aisle perfectly; made sure the guests were where they needed to be at the right time (throughout the entire day!); played the BEST music for cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing; and, he had the most unique, fun way of getting everyone on the dance floor. Everyone still talks about it! We are forever grateful. read more

Eric and his crew were INCREDIBLE to work with! Everything was smooth and professional, and their attention to details is second-to-none. Would highly recommend them if you're looking to put on a SUPER FUN wedding reception or any sort of party - they are the real deal and THE BEST IN AZ by far (we did a lot of research and looking around prior to selecting them and they clearly lived up to our expectations of them being #1). read more

Jon "had us covered" for my engagement party last Saturday night! It was a blast and the music was exactly how I had planned for it to be. Jon kept the ambience going and I got a lot of compliments on how great the music was and how fun the evening was. Will definitely recommend this company :) read more

DJ Eric was absolutely INCREDIBLE for our wedding this May in Tucson!! Eric worked closely with us before hand (he made it work with us livign in San Francisco!) to ensure that not only the music fit our tastes perfectly, but that the logistics went smoothly as well. We were pretty specific about the music (the theme changed across cocktail hour / dinner / dancing) and Eric modeled the playlists so appropriately. I remember looking around at my cocktail hour and the "indie LA" vibe I had asked for was executed to a tee. He also worked closely with our planner to ensure that we were not thinking about any coordination/logistics on the day of, and simply got to hvae fun. Eric and DJ Hunter really shined during the dance party, where he got people rallied to go do the horah, and had a really fun (planned with us) surprise of confetti cannons during it! We've had multiple people tell us that they've never seen a crazier dance floor at a wedding, and that can't happen without the music being awesome. I honestly would not recommend anyone other than Eric and GYC for your wedding. We're forever grateful! read more

This is my first time leaving reviews of any kind, but after my wedding experience, I felt it was important to give credit where credit was due. Based on a referral, I selected Got You Covered as the DJ company for our wedding. The owner, Eric, and his daughter, Jamie, were a pleasure to work with. They were excited and dedicated to making the experience amazing from day one. Since I live out of state and my time in Arizona was limited, Eric helped by doing the initial meeting via FaceTime. He was so easy to talk to and I was comfortable with him right away. Jamie was my main point of contact via email and she was great at sending all the details, replying to my questions and following up to see how things were going. The music portal they use was great. I could log in and add do not play or must play songs, so the DJ could get a feel for our music preferences. Steven Valdez is an amazing DJ. He is energetic, kind and clearly wanted to make the day memorable for us. Since we live out of town, he did a FaceTime meeting with us to go over the time line and music preference. He was great at asking questions, so he could come up with the perfect play list. On the day of, he was interactive, lively and did a great job at transitioning us from one environment to the next. He also did a great job at catering to all demographics, so everyone could enjoy the environment he created. All around, the experience from beginning to end was wonderful with Got You Covered and I am glad they could be part of such a special day. read more

Got You Covered was tremendous! We met them at the Arizona Bridal Expo. From the moment my now-husband and I met DJ Eric, the process with Got You Covered was the easiest out of all of our vendors. They first selected a package that was geared towards the vibe that we wanted our wedding to be and didn't try to sell us items that we didn't need. Then their staff checked in with us throughout the process, asking how we were doing and even sending us each a bride and groom "Wedding Day" playlist to listen to the morning of the wedding. Then there was our actual DJ, Cordero. Cordero was amazing from our meeting, to sticking to our timeline, and getting everyone super involved on our day. We received nothing but great feedback from our guests about Cordero and everything from the music selection, to his MCing, to him bringing extra items for my now-husband's surprise wedding song- Cordero and the rest of the staff at Got You Covered were truly the best. We recommend them for any event! -Kyrstyn and Ben read more

Love working with Eric and his team of highly trained entertainment professionals. The always arrive early, set up quickly and dress professionally. DJ Zakara killed it! She did an amazing job at a wedding this past weekend (02/22/20). She knows how to keep people entertained and the night flowing. We had a really good experience with Got You Covered. They were very responsive, easy to work with, and a reasonable price. They have an online portal which was simple to use and incredibly useful. Our DJ did a great job of incorporating our song requests, and finalizing the timeline before the actual day. He showed up on time on the wedding day, and we didn't have to worry about anything. It was great! read more

Got You Covered does it right. My wife and I get to work with them often as videographers, so we see them DJ a lot. They work hard for their clients and do it with style and excellent timing. They provide us timelines and are just easy to work with. Both my wife and I would highly recommend them. read more

Sloane is as true to the word "professional" as one can get. She is focused and provides you her undivided attention making you feel you are her only client. From impromptu phone calls, to quick email responses, she was there for us every step of the way, offering thoughts, alternatives, different points of views, while being thoughtful to all family members. She assisted us in selecting our: DJ, Larry, in which he truly brought an "A" game beginning from our consultation and being prepared with questions that uncovered our needs and expectations, to his follow-through to ensure he understood so our ideas were executed, to the day of event which had him at the event earlier than anticipated setting up and prepping. He wore a tux, looked and acted as a professional, had everyone on the dance floor, and I mean everyone, for the entire evening. Everybody had a great time. Monte, Frank Sinatra crooner, did a marvelous job and set the tone during the dinner hour, and bridal first dance. He, too, met with us in advance to understand our needs. His arrival was early, he was prepared and was also well-dressed. Without hesitation, I would contract again and recommend Got You Covered for any event, under Sloane's direction. Sloane was the catalyst for the success, and she always smiles!!! read more

Got You Covered was able to fit in a small community college graduation party at the last minute. Eric was conscientious of asking how to get his equipment into the venue without disturbing surrounding guests and even came loaded down with theme materials for our decorations. Our party was very very small and did not take advantage of all the great ideas I am sure he had. However he matched the music to the guests and helped out by taking group photos for us. I would definitely use his services again. read more

We used this company for our wedding reception. I was nervous about working with a DJ. I didn't know how to prepare or what to look for, but they had done my best friend's wedding which turned out great. These guys are so professional they make the process so easy and end up with a great experience! Our DJ, Rachel, was able to read our environment and guests and was so appropriate and a ton of fun. Even my parents, who never ever dance, were dancing the night away! read more

Eric was simply awesome! When starting to look for DJs, we both dreaded this part of the wedding preparation because we simply are not fond of the DJs who are there to run their own show. Don't get us wrong, we understand that a DJ is there to keep the party going, and make sure everything remains on time. We feel DJs do not need to have the last word on everything. Eric and Mike went above and beyond meeting our expectations and requests! They kept everything on time, and had the dance floor packed. Our family and friends ranged from an older generation from the East Coast to young West Coast Groovers, with Conservative to Liberal views, and cultures from Christian to Jewish - Got You Covered had everyone up dancing, and enjoying the evening. We had so many compliments from our guests that they enjoyed the evening and could not wait for us to have another party! read more

I cannot say enough good things about this company and our DJ, Rachel. From the second I reached out to them online to the last dance at our wedding, this company had our music needs handled. Eric worked with me for weeks to find the right combination of DJ and live band. In the end, we decided to go with a DJ only and Rachel was amazing! She did such a great job at judging the crowd (200 guests!) while still using the recommendations I sent in a Spotify playlist. read more

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! You guys did an amazing job at our Wedding. From the photo booth to the perfect DJ - Everything was perfect! We all know the DJ makes the wedding - from the songs they choose to the atmosphere they create. It was a perfect match made and we had people on the dance floor all night long. It was so much fun looking at the photobooth photos the next day too! I highly recommend Got You Covered for your events! read more

I got married at an all inclusive venue where Got You Covered was the DJ company contracted out to us. They were the only option for our wedding date so we didn't have any other options. We hoped they would be great. We were engaged for over a year and a half and booked our venue a month after we got engaged. We never heard from the company or the DJ and had to reach out to them 12 days before our wedding, when they refused to reach out to us after being contacted multiple times by our venue. The owner or whoever we talked to is extremely condescending and laughed the entire time I was sobbing on the phone. Once we had our DJ assigned, we had one meeting one week before our big day and then received no communication until the night before our wedding when the DJ was emailing me. Very poor communication, very unprofessional, stressed me out unnecessarily the week and night before my wedding. Then I found out the DJ was rude to my sister at the wedding, who was my maid of honor. Do not hire this company for your event, you will be disappointed. read more

My DJ was not prepared at all! He had no sound for my musicians, he messed up the one song he was supposed to play during the ceremony, and I don't even want to talk about the reception. They actually gave me some of my money back because it was so horrible. read more

A True Life Wedding Fairytale My wedding day was perfect in every way because of Sloane Hansen. Got you Covered's services were absolutely invaluable. From the beginning planning, to the final execution of our wedding day, Sloane provided flawless, friendly, and fantastic service! A recap of our experience. Sloane, our wedding planner, was flexible with meeting us a variety of different times and locations to plan, schedule, and review every aspect of the wedding process. In her 22 years of event planning, she has developed a wide range of relationships with event and wedding vendors. This made selecting our DJ, Photographer, Florist, Tux Rental, and more a piece of cake...oh, she can handle that too! Sloane truly takes the time to understand every detail and will help you with creating your vision of your dream wedding and reception. Sloane works with your venue to put together an extremely detailed timeline and was there for us during the event to insure no detail was missed. Sloane is extremely reliable, caring, trustworthy, professional, and brings positivity with her wherever she goes. I can't thank Sloane enough for being there for me when I picked out my wedding dress, travelling with us to Sedona to chose our reception venue, being there through nervous times with family, and giving me so much positive support. I had a hair and makeup trial that went poorly and Sloane lifted my spirits by creating a wedding morning hair and makeup experience that was fun and relaxing. Sloane will truly do everything and anything to ensure that your day is perfect. During our wedding planning we decided to throw an "I Do" BBQ for our friends and co-workers that were not able to travel to our wedding in Sedona. Sloane not only helped with planning this party, but also attended and brought snacks! Our entire experience with Got You Covered has been a dream come true. If you want to work with the best in the business to plan your wedding or event, look no further. I highly recommend you contact Got You Covered and the amazing Sloane Hansen. read more

Eric was great at our wedding! He met with us and helped us create the music for our ceremony and reception. He confirmed everything a few days prior and was very organized! He put up with my last minute changes the day of and was very creative in jump starting the dance floor when it needed a pick me up. He also made us 2 cd's with all the special songs from our day! I really appreciated this touch! I would recommend him to a friend for sure! read more

The good: before my wedding this company was really fun, organized, and professional. When I met with Paige they offered my friend and I shots, we got to try out the photo booth, and play with their really cute dog. They worked with my budget and gave really great suggestions how the night should go i.e. timeline, activities, etc. The bad: I ordered pink up lighting and the dj brought purple up lighting. It still drives me crazy looking back at my pictures. For our first dance song I wanted Shania Twain, from this moment. But he played a version where she talks for about 15-30secs before the actual song starts so I thought he was playing the wrong song at first. Plus my husband and I are NOT dancers so we were not thrilled we had to dance like we were at prom longer than we had to. Also, during a song I requested that my bridesmaids and I like to dance to the music stopped in the middle of the song, and he had to restart his laptop. Talk about a buzz kill. I ordered a photo booth and didn't like the blue background so I bought gold streamers that I hung up. Not even half way through the night they fell down and the photo booth attendants did nothing to help hang it back up or get it out of the way. It laid there on the floor for everyone to trip on. My dj also played slow songs back to back every time. It's definitely awkward slow dancing through two songs and most ppl walked off the dance floor once the second slow song came on. I would suggest saving your money and go with one of the less expensive dj companies. I thought I did my research and picked one of the best dj companies but you just never know how it will go. read more

Got you covered definitely lives up to their name. They had me covered from day one! Planning a wedding in a pandemic wasn't ideal and I went through three DJ's before I found them! They were easy to get ahold of and were super flexible when I had to keep switching the date. I got paired with DJ Andre and I couldn't have been happier with that choice! He had the same personality as me and was the life of the party! He found the songs I wanted that no one has ever heard of and even made sure that it was the right one. He pulled off the biggest surprise for my first dance which made me cry. He spent all night making sure I was good and that I was having fun! He played the best songs that got everyone out on the dance floor. All night, my guest were coming up asking me for his information! People have even commented on my post about how awesome the DJ was. I would recommend Got you covered and DJ Andre to anyone and everyone! Thanks again so much guys! read more
