This pizza place is amazing! The food was hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious -- you can tell they use quality ingredients. Service was fast, and everyone working there was super friendly and welcoming. What really impressed me was their customer service. I accidentally lost my ring down the sink in the restroom, and without hesitation, they took the time to open the pipes and retrieve it for me. They truly went above and beyond! Sardella's was a huge let-down when we were in need of prepared food in a pinch. This place used to be a treat. Looking for a pasta option, we ordered 2 pastas for $25. They only had spaghetti, which was a red flag in itself. This was the worst spaghetti ever. Taste and texture was as if it was frozen and then defrosted in the microwave. This was so unbelievable. There is deal going on- for $10.99 pepperoni pizza. when I picked up the pizzas- my total was $35. So I asked, did I just pay $13 for Jalapeños? she said yes- your coupon voided adding the jalapeños- I said okay so adding jalapeños is an additional $13 tho? then the pizza we get is NOT EVEN DONE ALL THE WAY! I stopped going here because of poor quality food. They sent me an email with a code to get 40% off my order so I figured I would give them another try. The worst pizza I ever had in my entire life! Asked for extra sauce and did not get it. I always ask for extra sauce here because they never put enough on to begin with. The pizza had bubbles in it. Easily fixed during the baking process with a poker type tool. The crust was the absolute worst I have ever had anywhere. It was so tough that even my dogs had a hard time chewing it. Phoenix Police was there trespassing one of the many homeless people around the store on 43rd ave and Cactus. Pepperoni pizza and 1 spaghetti & meat balls..The pizza was good...the Spaghetti and meat balls horrible the sauce had a sour taste and noodles wasn't drain and I had puddle of water under them...This dish either was frozen and it was reheated the meat ball tasted like a frozen meat balls ... I've been coming to this sardellas for years and barely started having problems recently due to new management it feels like. You're tell me it's 30 minutes I get here and waited an additional 30 minutes. I asked the management and he tried to cancel my order. Aww, yes! Sardellas mm absolutely a family favorite. Every experience and menu item is wonderful. Today we took advantage of a special and had a large pepperoni pizza and wings. A few mins after ordering we wanted to change the wing order to a 50/50 flavor and they had no problem taking care of that for us. Oh I can't forget we splurged and got the bread knots. Always get the bread knots!!! It's all so delicious. I found myself dipping my pizza into the wing sauce because I just couldn't get enough of the sauce, so flavorful! Wow!!! Absolute great customer service provided by Zach & Crew Showed up @ 8:30pm on a Wed. I didn't know they had shortened hours to 8pm due to covid... so they're closed right?!?...Still walk in after seeing hours as I had already ordered & they greet me genuine & friendly...most places will gripe & whine if they see a customer coming in close to close let alone 30mins after. During a recent all day meeting we decided to order from Sardella's for lunch. Since we had a decent group of 10 we opted to order 1 - 16" cheese and 1 - 16" Amore Pizza along with 2 chicken Caesar Salads and 1 chef salad. All the food was yummy and the food was delivered on time. The cheese was a little on the greasy side for me, but it is pizza so that is to be expected. I would have to say my favorite thing from all the food was the Amore pizza (probably explains why it was eaten first). I don't live close to Sardella's but if I am in the area I will suggest it again. read more

The pizza and wings that we normally order are usually good and they deliver within a reasonable time. The issue we have is asking for the 2 extra Ranches for our wings. We don't mind being charged extra for the extra Ranch as we all know costs keeping going up, but what I DO MIND is being charged and not receiving what I paid for. Sardella's is good pizza at a reasonable price. They always have a good deal or two as long as you aren't looking for a pizza with too many toppings. I have ordered from here at least a dozen times and have never had an issue. The pizza has always been good, hot and ready on time. I have no comments on delivery as I have always ordered take out online. I am writing this review now to warn everyone ordering from here to bring CASH to pay. Sometime in mid 2023 Sardellas started charging a 3% fee to use a card. I understand the cost that visa/Mastercard/etc. charges the business to process transactions probably went up and the business is transferring that fee to the customers in this manner. I've never really encountered this with a restaurant, but if this is the way the owner wants to do business, that is his/her prerogative. The problem is that when you order online, the 3% fee is not mentioned. I ordered four pizzas online and then called 30 minutes later to see if the pizzas were ready. The fee was not mentioned when I called or even when I indicated that I would be paying with my card after I arrived. It wasn't until I inquired why I was being charged a different amount than had been quoted to me online that I was made aware of it. Some kid materialized behind the cashier and proceeded to let me know there was a sign on the door and one on the keypad. The one on the keypad was not visible as it had been smashed into the top, out of sight. I will admit the one on the door was visible. However, in my defense, at the time of this review, there were four other signs adorning the door. I suppose I should have taken the time to read them all before entering to learn the local laws and taxes at Sardellas Pizza. In conclusion, I could have brought cash with me or stopped at the ATM on the way if I had known ahead of time. I was hungry and had 6 people waiting on me to eat, so I wasn't about to leave without the food. It would have been unreasonable to make the trip to and from Sardellas 3 more times to avoid a 3% surcharge given the price of gas alone, not taking my time into consideration. All I ask for is transparency. Please add notice of this charge to your website at checkout, I'm not sure if it's located in a hidden FAQ section. From what the staff told me, it sounds like I'm not the first person to make an issue over this. read more

We have always enjoyed Sardellas in the past, however, tonight was just really bad. I don't know if they have switched vendors for their ingredients or what has happened, but both the pizzas had grease all over the top and bottom, the cheese was gritty, and most of the wings had broken bones. Excellent Chicken Parmigiana We went to Sardellas to celebrate my sons 15th birthday. We ordered 2 ham and pineapple slices , a large all meat, and a pepperoni mushroom and olive, a thick white cheesy pizza, a garden salad and finally a chicken Parmigiana. It was delicious. The salad was fresh and had crunch from the cucumbers and romain leaves. The chicken was tender and the sauce was devine. The garlic knots are the best.
