Two dozen wings for $18.99. What a deal. Two flavors max, so we got suicide & hot. I like that the wings were extra crispy. Their "stoner box" special also caught my eye. 2 Corn Dogs, 4 nuggets, french fries & a cookie for $4.20. (Of Course....) I'll try that next time, though. We had enough wings to take home because I got a burger for $8. Automatically with fries, but you can upgrade to tater tots or onion rings for a fee. That's a great deal, even with upgrade fees. The vibe inside is a bit dark and cluttered with decor, but don't let that take away from the tasty food. I don't think the facility is pet friendly because it is all indoor seating, but they are customer-with-pets friendly. Dogs, at least. There are pupper treats at the front counter you can just grab for poochie while you're grabbing your human food. The missing star was for the fountain drinks that have no refills. Booo! Other than that, food tasted good, the walls had something different to stare at in each direction. Prices were waaaaay cheap. Sometimes you go to a place and are disappointed by the food, but you don't care. For me, it is this Long Wong's. I think I stood outside for 15 minutes just looking at all the campy, original, totally unrelated statues and art. There are dinosaurs, lumberjacks, robots, cows, gorillas--and so much more. But it doesn't end there. There is as much to see inside as there is outside. Is it totally clean? Who knows . . maybe. But it's interesting and fun. The menu is large, and at the counter you can order pizza, wings, burgers, fish, chicken, hot dogs--you name it. When you first come to this place, the outside is really cool looking. But when you go on the inside, you see all the knickknack, it's very interesting seeing it all, but everything is Hella dusty. They say they've been open for 43 years, they should definitely probably take one time out of the year to close down and take everything off and dusted it. Long Wong's Wings has numerous locations around the Valley. With all the interior and exterior decor, this location is never a boring place to have a look around ... any maybe snap a few pics. I recently ordered a dozen mild wings and was a bit surprised. The chicken was cooked to perfection. However, there was next to no sauce at all. I wanted "mild" sauce, not "almost no" sauce. Also, a dozen wings usually comes with a 50/50 split of drums and flats. My order had four drums and eight flats. What's up with that? Fortunately, the service was stellar. The gentleman was fast and friendly, despite being slammed with multiple in- person and phone orders he had to take. I wish I'd gotten his name. This employee deserves a raise! Despite the minor disappointment with the wings, I'll be back. This Long Wong's location is the only place I visit for wings, so I'm sure things will be better next time. read more

Interesting--I wanted to give them another chance, but it turns out my number is blocked. Not just mine, but my brother's too. Here's the backstory: We had a bad experience with a previous order. My brother placed it, and I went to pick it up. I simply gave his name--how was I supposed to know there were two orders under the same first name? It's not even that common. The girl at the front just handed me one, and since it was a large order, I assumed it was correct. When I got home, we realized it was the wrong one. We called the restaurant, and the same girl answered--she was incredibly rude. She blamed me, saying it was my fault and that there were two orders with the same first name. I asked how I was supposed to know that, and why she didn't mention it. She got even more upset and said, in a nasty tone, that they now had to remake the other order and it was still our fault. Mind you.. I paid for the order not like they lost money on it. Eventually, my brother said to just forget it--we'd keep the wrong order. And she hung up on him. He had used my phone to call, and now, when we tried to give them another chance and order again, we discovered both our numbers are blocked. My sister and his girlfriend called and had no issues, which confirms it--only our numbers were blocked. Honestly call, order at your own risk. They also really need to do a deep clean. Unlike something I'm used to, this is such a small place. We paid $35 for wings, rice, and mozzarella sticks. My Boyfriend loved the rice and says he wishes "we had something like this back home." I got lemon pepper hot wings and the wings were good. I can't say they were great but they good. The mozzarella sticks were over cooked and no Marinara was given. I'm barely giving this place a 4. While the food was good, I didn't like the location, the wings don't come with fries, and I feel like the customer service could use a little boost. I love Long Wongs. It is a Phoenix Treasure. Great burgers and wings. However wait times and online ordering forget it. I live super close. Ordered online. Received notification of order ready for pick up. Too easy. Too convenient. NOPE!!! I got there and waited at pick up window behind a person arguing about their order for 10 minutes. The same woman behind the counter just kept fiddling with the computer and not doing anything to rectify the problem. So I went inside to pick up my order. I was helped very quickly.I showed them my phone that the order was ready. Guy start checking all the orders. Place with the computer. Check all the orders again. Checks my phone again. And repeats the process about three times. 15 minutes later asked me what I ordered for the third time. Finally grabs a bag that was sitting in front of us the entire time. His response? " sorry I couldn't read the name" no offer or anything to re prepare my now, cold food. Just a shrug and here's your order. If you've ever tried to microwave a green chili burger? Don't disgusting. Went to this place once , the Tolleson location which is out of my way but always wanted to try it. So the reason i'm giving it a 3, if I had to rate based only on the wings, i'd give it a 5, the wings are fantastic and if in the area, yes, i'd stop by and get wings and fries. Never been to this location until this past Friday and I absolutely loved it!! The place is super cool and very retro. There are so many items to view, very school. The lady employee was friendly and gave me options of what to get since it was my first time there. The food there is very tasty American cuisine. I ordered hot wings with a pepperoni pizza and fries and it was very delicious! Nothing soggy, the food was packed with favor. I can see myself coming here again for sure! It's exactly what you expect. You only go there once, it's a novelty place. It has a lot of cool decorations and old school items that are not seen often anymore . It's like a mini museum with cafeteria food . These wings were standard size (a la buffalo wild wings), lightly fried, and vinegar heavy. Your traditional buffalo style wing. They weren't bad, just not my type. This is quite possibly my favorite place to eat in Arizona! Born and raised in the state, I have tons of great memories at this Long Wong's. Driving down Indian School road you can't help but notice the bold colors and unique decor outside. It practically draws you in like a moth to a flame. I've tried a huge portion of the menu but always come back to my favorites: Spicy BBQ and/or Inferno (suicide) wings, The Fat Ass or Bacon Bacon burger combo and the LA Chop fries. Some of the employees have worked at this location so long, I fell like they're family. Customer service is great, portion sizes are perfect and the ambiance is divey (but that's what I absolutely love about it). Honestly, I could eat here every single day. I ordered 12 wings. Half garlic Parmesan and half hot. The garlic Parmesan seemed like just ranch and WAY TOO much minced garlic. I couldn't eat it. So I nicely explained to the lady at the register that I didn't like them and if I could exchange them for a different flavor. She said she had to get her manager. I explained the same thing to the manager and she asked me if there was anything wrong and I said I didn't like them because there's too much minced garlic. There was so much that the sauce was chunky. She said that they only replace the food if something is wrong with the food. Then she said, well that's why you order...so I explained that was my first time there and I didn't know that was how the wings came. She said well that's how we make them. Then she proceeded to say, we can replace 3 of them with another sauce but I had 6 garlic Parmesan. I said that doesn't make sense. And she said, that's the best she can do. I said well looks like I just wasted money. I worked in food industry and restaurants for years. It is basic customer service to accommodate the guests when they don't like something. There was no partial refund or any kind of refund. I do NOT recommend going here if it's your first time and you don't know the menu. If you don't like it then you're forced to eat it or waste money. She said "yes." And I figured "inferno" was really hot. I dunno. The "hot" didn't seem hot. Maybe they put on "mild" or "medium" cause I didn't look like a hot sauce kinda gal? Dunno. The dawg comes with fries. Yummm! I need to find out what brand of hot dogs those are. I eat a hotdog about once a year, maybe two, but this dog was pretty darn good. I asked for mustard and relish. I could have used a bit more relish. A little stingy on the condiments. Oh, well. ... And the fries were even good after they were cold. You know how fries are after they get cold. Ughhh! These were actually good. I liked the wings. As mentioned, I could have used a hotter sauce. I guess next time I will ask for "inferno." They have pizza and sandwiches, salads, subs, ribs, gee, just a whole bunch to choose from. Even a selection of sodas. I think a lot of the sodas are from Mexico. They didn't look familiar. And it doesn't get any Divier than this lol I would have a problem if the food here WASNT cheap and made a certain way. That's what makes it a Dive joint. It ain't the best but it hit JUST right for me. I got the wings and the mozzarella sticks. No surprise the mozzarella sticks weren't homemade but I literally couldn't care less.
