We saw the sign from the farmer's market and we have to try this. When we walked in, it was actually really spacious. There are two big TVs right up front, so at first we didn't even see the menu. The menu and register are actually off to the side next to the drink fridge. We ordered a regular Supreme, a large Supreme, and some cheese fries. The fries were cooked perfectly, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, but the cheese sauce made them a little salty. The sandwiches were really good though. The only difference between the regular and the large is that the large just has more steak. We were kind of worried it might be too salty with the cheese, but it was actually really balanced and super tasty. It's a solid spot for a quick, satisfying meal.

The Traditional Sandwich

Disappointed in service. Ordered traditional sandwich to go. Got home, had no mayo, lettuce or tomatoes. C'mon, is it too much to ask that I get it the way it's listed on the menu? But It was hot & tasted good.

This was the double bacon cheeseburger!!!so good

Stopped by this past Monday with co workers 12-15-25 .. I gotta say it was the perfect spot . It's new , super clean , most helpful and cheerful staff I've seen in a while . Lots of options to choose from . We had burgers super tasteful and cooked .. can't wait to come back and try some of the other options.. staff really friendly and talkative I love that .. I'll definitely be back next week ..

So, I "tried" to give this place another try......NEVER AGAIN. Once again DISAPPOINTING. I went in, only two people in line.....I waited. When I ordered my large cheesesteak-meat, cheese and a little extra mayonnaise only, with double meat..... I receive large cheese steak with onions, single meat....and because it was my work meal......even hard bread b/4 I threw it out because I'm allergic to onions.. Well, at least the fries were just okay when I ate them on my way to work. $15.29 in the trash..... do NOT go here.... How a this simple order go wrong with my order and the order of the two people in front of me...... The "so called cook" was too busy clanging and making noise with his food flippers with no food on the grill = maybe the order taker didn't hear me with all the cl I sure hope they close so others aren't disappointed and scammed.......

Large $13

The cashier was very nice, but the cheesesteak was not good. They are not trying to be authentic because they are using provolone and putting lettuce and tomato on each sandwich. The steak also slumped together as it wasn't chopped enough and the bread just wasn't the right choice either. Maybe try a burger?

Not too bad of a cheesesteak sandwich! $12.99 for a Large, make it a meal for only $4.99 more. Service was great. The ambiance was spacious and very clean. I appreciate that the fries were made fresh and crispy!

Chicken philly with fries.

It was later than our usual dinner time and we couldn't figure out what the hell we wanted to eat, so we drove around until we passed by Philly Steak & Burger. Thought we should try it out and I'm glad we did! I got the chicken philly, boyfriend got the steak, both meal deals. Everything was delicious! Good sized sandwiches and they don't skimp on the filling. Bread was perfectly toasted and it wasn't an overwhelming amount of bread either so that was nice. Dining room was clean, two TVS, plenty of seating, and the cashier was nice! We'll be back!

half supreme (top) half Sonoran) both delicious. To be clear, I ordered two different sandwiches to split with my coworker.

Came here with a coworker today for lunch. First of all I have to strongly disagree with some of the poor early reviews of this place. To me it sounds more like they're salty over the fact that it's no longer a Johnny Rockets since they mention that in their reviews. Also the place is brand new and in my experience, new places have a few kinks to work out before they hit their stride and the poor reviews seem to pick on that a bit. Now for my honest review. My coworker and I decided to try two different cheesteaks and split them. First was the supreme, which has provalone, peppers, onions, lettuce tomato. The other was the Sonoran which had jalapenios, beans, crema, bacon. Both were delicious. The fries were really great too. Crispy , nice sized fries. Really good overall. The bread was toasted perfectly, nice and soft. Really solid. Both came loaded with meat and toppings. Next is the service. The owner was working the register. He was very attentive, explained the different items on the menu, came by later to check to see how we liked our food. Also saw another customer with a burger that looked amazing and he raved to the owner how good it was. I will definitely be back to try some of their other sandwiches and burgers. They also have cheesesteak salads and some keto friendly options for those trying to go with healthier options which is great. The interior was clean, casual and about what you expect for a place like this. I'll be back for sure. This place was a hit. My coworker also really enjoyed the food and said he'd be back. Take those salty reviews with a grain of salt. They seem more bothered that their favorite burger chain isn't there anymore and actually suggests other major chain restaurants as an alternative which shows where their standards are. This is much better than any of those places. Can't wait to try again and I really wish them success so they can stick around a while.

The Supreme Meal

Came here for the first time with my fiancée and it was amazing. The guys in here are extremely friendly, the service alone was enough to bring us back! They also have a good playlist going on here, definitely a nice chill spot to come enjoy some Philly cheesesteaks! 10/10 recommend!

The Supreme Combo Meal and Grilled Chicken Combo Meal

Everything is fresh and delicious!! Worth trying them out. Try the Supreme it's very tender, the French fries are very crispy.

This place delivers big flavor in an unexpected package…read more On a recent trip to Phoenix from my home base in Chicago, I got a serious craving for fish and chips--something crispy, hot, and satisfying. After a quick internet search, I ended up at a place called Speedie's Fish & Chips on McDowell. Let me be real with you... when I pulled up, my first thought was: Am I in the right place? From the outside, it's giving more "corner vape shop meets convenience store" than seafood spot. But hey--hunger (and curiosity) won the day. I walked in and discovered exactly that: a vape store, a small market, and tucked off to the right, a humble little lunch counter. No frills -- just a guy behind the counter doing his thing. I ordered the Fish & Shrimp Daily Special ($11.99) and waited a few minutes. When the food hit the counter, WOW. Any skepticism I had about the surroundings vanished in a cloud of fryer steam and crispy golden goodness. The fish? Hot, flaky, and perfectly battered. The shrimp? Juicy with just the right crunch. The fries? Fresh, piping hot, and generously portioned. All of it was straight out of the fryer--no limp or lukewarm bites here. To top it off, they gave me four sauces--ketchup, cocktail, tartar, and ranch--which turned this into a choose-your-own-dipping-adventure. Each bite was better than the last. And guess what? The next day, I went back and ordered the exact same thing. No regrets. Bottom line: Speedie's is not about ambiance. It's not Instagram-worthy, and it might not even look like a restaurant. But if you're in Phoenix and craving solid fish and chips at a great price, don't let the exterior fool you. This place delivers big flavor in an unexpected package.

My daughter and I were out running errands and got hungry so once we finished we decided to find…read moresome place to eat. I was looking on Yelp while she was in an office taking care of business and saw this place. When she and my granddaughter came out I asked them how they felt about it. Granddaughter was hesitant because she claims she doesn't like fish but daughter was open to it and I could see online that they had hamburgers and chicken nuggets also. I got the two piece fish with fries and she got the three piece fish with fries because she thought the two piece wouldn't fill her up. The pieces were generous and delicious and the fries were good. She wasn't even able to eat her third piece so she let me bring it home for leftovers. We also got six wings to try out, three lemon pepper and three honey barbecue. We each had one of each flavor just for an appetizer. They were good, a little chewy but wonderful flavor. My daughter and I were both impressed with how good the fish was and neither one of us could finish what we were served. The teenage granddaughter ordered the hamburger special for $6.99 that included hamburger fries and a kool-aid. She wasn't crazy about the Kool-Aid so we brought it home for other family members but she kept exclaiming how delicious her hamburger was! She liked the wings also and we all liked the fries. All in all we were happy with our food and the service was fine, very friendly. The final decision was that it was a good choice! It's inside an old convenience store and does have a lot of items a convenience store would have but we just went for the food. Don't let the outside deter you, the food is worth it and a very very good price. For me the only disadvantage was when I asked for a receipt it just said $40.32 but didn't itemize so there was no way to double check it and I have found so many places make errors that I like to look over my receipt and see exactly what I was charged. I do know that we paid $6.99 for the hamburger special at least that's what it was listed for and my two-piece was $8.99. I think my daughter is three piece was $11.99 but I can't remember for absolute sure and I don't remember how much the wings were but they were reasonable.
