Dining interior decoration

Breakfast review start to finish: lots of parking in an industrial area. Home style cooking spot. Interior is standard diner and was clean. Service was friendly and quick. Meal prices are slightly below average with an average plate cost of $8. Food portions are above average. Food wait time was a bit long but food was hot and absolutely delicious. I ordered vegetarian omelet with rye toast dry and apple juice. I requested half order of omelet and agreed to pay same price. Husband had Denver omelet with sourdough and apple juice. Food came out perfect, however, chef does not prepare half order omelets which was disappointing because I threw away at least half of the tasty omelet...and I hate food waste. Overall fast, friendly and good diner food. Recommend for anyone who wants some good portioned home cooking at a great price. Unfortunately no lunch review available.

This restaurant is pretty good. The staff is welcoming and nice. The food is good, my only complaint was the portion size for the price doesn't mesh. But it was tasty and we'd definitely come here again.

The southwest burger is great! I also enjoy the tuna salad and fries. Could possibly use more desert selections.

Great diner-style energy every time we come to The Cracked Egg. We love this place for Sunday…read morebrunch because there's a little bit of everything for everyone to enjoy. Whether you're looking for a classic American breakfast or something with a bit of cultural influence, the flavors are always great, and the service is consistently fast and friendly. Their coffee is also one of our favorites. No matter where we go, we always end up comparing it to the coffee here , it's just that good. Today we ordered the Cowboy Skillet, which had great flavor with the gravy and the mix of peppers and potatoes. Everything paired really well together and made for a hearty breakfast. The waffle was well made with a nice butter crisp on the outside. We also tried the Shaved Ribeye Benedict with mushrooms. I really enjoyed the flavor coming from the mushrooms and onions cooked into it. The shaved ribeye was a little on the dry side, but overall the flavors still worked well together and the dish was nicely plated. Energy here is always phenomenal as people are always so kind and making sure to be constantly checking on us and making sure we have everything we need always! Ambiance is great and always nice and warm feeling. This is a place we always recommend to people, and we'll definitely continue coming back.

They also add mushroom gravy (drools). The crispy rice added a fun and umami crunch which I looooooved and the gravy was a bit messy but worth every bite. Fantastic combo!! The only dish that didn't quite meet our expectations was the corn bread, but when we told the server he was so kind about it and we were able to exchange it for a different side. The overall service was great! I made a reservation for 4 on a Saturday afternoon and got seated right away. Kyle checked up on us frequently and our food came out pretty quick too! Also, at the bar area there was a TV that played the world cup game, and afterwards baseball. I think this can be a nice lowkey place to watch a game since the vibe was chill. Keep in mind the everyday happy hour is only for the cocktails: the cocktails are $6 and we all enjoyed ours. I got a No. 22 and really liked it. If you don't drink, you can also make the cocktails to mocktails too. Before coming here, I had once been to the next door ice cream place Churn before, but this was my first time coming to Windsor, and I didn't even realize they served the Churn ice cream too for desert! My friends and I shared a triple scoop of double chocolate, sweet cream, and cookies & mint in a cup. It was a good amount of ice cream for the 4 of us, not too sweet either. This place is also advertised as dog-friendly online, which I assume was meant for the outdoor patio seating (the patio looked cute, it had misters and was covered). Overall, great place!! So glad I came here :)

Went there on a Saturday morning. There was a little bit of a wait, but not too. Had a wonderful waiting area to sit with great vibes great music. Lively atmosphere. Being in Arcadia Neighbourhood, you see a mix of people. Everything from hipsters, to aunties and uncs, and people looking like they just left the set of Pop the Balloon or Find Love. As for the food, I had the catfish and grits. The catfish was cooked perfectly, well seasoned. Hot crispy fresh. The grits were a bit lacking as they were pretty runny but overall a good bite. Other people in my party got a short rib hash said it was delicious. The French toast and the pancakes are not anything different than what you get at any other high-end brunch spot. Prices of what you expect for a place like this, but all in all I would recommend.

They do have valet parking at this establishment or you can park on the side street about two blocks away for free. We opted to just park two blocks away. On this occasion, our server was very sweet. She was also a cancer zodiac sign, so very nurturing and she insured that we had a great experience. For food I have no complaints. I really enjoyed the grits and catfish and also a birthday pancake that was given to me by the establishment. I thought that was a really nice gesture, and it was delicious. The vibe and the food for this establishment is five stars. What I take issue with is the lack of glassware. I think if you're gonna offer sparkling wine or mimosas or even champagne, you should have the proper stemware. I thought that the mimosa flights came off very low brow and there was no way I was drinking out of what looked like glass baby bottles. When asked for a wine stem glass, they didn't have any. And I actually believe the server which they need to do better IKEA is not that far you can get some wine glasses. This is essential. I did also see that they had some upgraded bottles for bubbles and I wish I would've saw that on a menu as I would've purchased an upgrade it Prosecco or champagne. However, I would've been livid if I purchased an upgraded bottle and had to drink out of thick cognac glasses. Anyway, I would come back here, but I just think they need to do better on the actual glassware. It would elevate this establishment.
