Breakfast review start to finish: lots of parking in an industrial area. Home style cooking spot. Interior is standard diner and was clean. Service was friendly and quick. Meal prices are slightly below average with an average plate cost of $8. Food portions are above average. Food wait time was a bit long but food was hot and absolutely delicious. I ordered vegetarian omelet with rye toast dry and apple juice. I requested half order of omelet and agreed to pay same price. Husband had Denver omelet with sourdough and apple juice. Food came out perfect, however, chef does not prepare half order omelets which was disappointing because I threw away at least half of the tasty omelet...and I hate food waste. Overall fast, friendly and good diner food. Recommend for anyone who wants some good portioned home cooking at a great price. Unfortunately no lunch review available. read more

This is a great little hole in the wall..I had their Chorizo and eggs and they were perfect...the salsa was just spicy enough to enhance not drown out the taste of the food...my mom ordered the eggs scrambled with green chilies and it was awesome...my dad's sausage patties and eggs was delicious...the service was awesome our sweet waitress refilled our water cups when she found out we were getting on the road...you can not go wrong with this great place...we totally enjoyed our breakfast here. read more

The food is tasty. I believe it is fairly priced. It is in a convenient location with basically no competition, so I do understand prices being a little higher than others. Its not blow-my-mind food, but its not spit-in-trash food either. If I wasn't at work (less than a mi away), I'm not sure I would eat here. Service-wise, I have to mention that Samantha is doing everything right. I do believe she took my phone order cuz I recognize the voice and sweet demeanor. Michelle? Not so much. When I walked in to pick up my order, I walked past both of them as they were helping the in-house diners. Samantha was quick to acknowledge me with, "I'll be right up to help you". Michelle didn't even look at me. Then, right as Samantha is going to ring me up, the phone rings. She puts the call on hold and starts giving me my order. For whatever reason, Michelle walks up in the middle of things and decides to pick up the call to take the phone order. There is only one register, so she kicks Samantha off the register in the middle of my transaction, enters the phone order while Samantha and I just stand there staring. Finally, Samantha can re-start ringing me up. As she is doing so, Michelle tears the itemized ticket off my bag and throws it in the trash. Well, thanks for asking if I needed that. I ordered lunch for three people and paid with my card. It would have been nice to give each of the other two co workers a receipt when they paid me back. Now I only have the customer copy of my receipt to give to one of them. Both my co workers trust me, and thank god they aren't all about auditing me when I ask for their money, but it would have been nice to give EACH of them a receipt. *Sigh* If Samantha makes less money than Michelle, I really hope that changes soon. read more

First time here! Food was good, I ordered the sausage breakfast burrito, and it was good. The burrito is huge! Just would've liked for it to have more sausage. It did have plenty of egg in there, I had to take some out. My son had an order of French fries and the seasoning was really good! My husband had an order of pancakes, bacon, and eggs. Food is extremely good and they give very generous portions. The staff is so incredibly nice and kind. They make you feel like family. One of our favorites is the homemade corned beef hash and the French toast combo. You will not be disappointed. Michelle is wonderful. read more

Found this hidden gem while picking up supplies from a nearby warehouse. Friendly staff and fair prices. I had the chicken chimichanga special which was not real special, just on the bland side. Could have used a topping of sour cream or guacamole to help. Looking at other's plates most looked good, so I will be back to try anything but the chimichangas. I should have known better than ordering Mexican food in a place that has all the pictures on their walls featuring Mediterranean and Greek scenes. My bad. read more

Had lunch at the 51st Ave Cafe and it was ok. I had the Gyro Greek salad and it's was ok. Decent portion and taste was good. Service was very friendly and hospitable but the food and ambiance was just ok. If you are in a hurry for diner food then this is an ok choice. read more

I had the corned beef hash and eggs, hold the hashbrowns & substitute toast for biscuits and gravy. It definitely satisfied my craving. Their gravy has just the right amount of meat and texture. The potatoes in the corned beef were pretty tasty. My over medium eggs were cooked just right. No runny white stuff. Coffee was perfect! Not too weak. Not too strong/bitter. I'll be back soon. This is a nice restaurant in a commercial/industrial area that serves excellent, full breakfast and lunches at a reasonable price. I had scrambled eggs hash browns w/ toast and my guest had the pork chop with eggs and hash browns. Have to say it was all perfectly cooked and service was prompt...I'll gladly return again. The sign outside boasts that they specialize inn Gyro sandwiches...that will be next. The place is spotlessly clean and well worth a try. read more

i had a excellent breakfast 1-11-22. first time going there with a friend. i had hash browns, ham, sausage, two eggs over easy and wheat toast. i had leftovers to take home. my friend, who i invited, had hash browns, biscuits and gravy, and wheat toast. breakfast was fantastic! i recommend this restaurant. the staff are all courteous. it's a clean environment and has a pleasant atmosphere. i returned today 1/13/22, and had the meatloaf. a friend had the tuna salad sandwich with fries. both meals were fantastic. this is a great cafe in the glendale area. too bad they're only opened monday through friday. - catherine read more

This cafe staff is friendly. My neighbor; Louise an I were welcomed with the best service and food. I had a Ruben sandwich and fries.I gave it a 10+ on a scale 1-10. Louise had eggs, bacon, hash browns and English muffin. We were there during the lunch hour and the men filled the room. Our waitress introduced us to the other waitress and the cook/owner. I noticed the health department gave the restaurant an "A". Prices are reasonable and you'll walk out with a full belly and know you'll be back again. Thanks for great service. read more

The southwest burger is great! I also enjoy the tuna salad and fries. Could possibly use more desert selections.
