Great diner-style energy every time we come to The Cracked Egg. We love this place for Sunday brunch because there's a little bit of everything for everyone to enjoy. Whether you're looking for a classic American breakfast or something with a bit of cultural influence, the flavors are always great, and the service is consistently fast and friendly. Their coffee is also one of our favorites. No matter where we go, we always end up comparing it to the coffee here , it's just that good. Today we ordered the Cowboy Skillet, which had great flavor with the gravy and the mix of peppers and potatoes. Everything paired really well together and made for a hearty breakfast. The waffle was well made with a nice butter crisp on the outside. We also tried the Shaved Ribeye Benedict with mushrooms. I really enjoyed the flavor coming from the mushrooms and onions cooked into it. The shaved ribeye was a little on the dry side, but overall the flavors still worked well together and the dish was nicely plated. Energy here is always phenomenal as people are always so kind and making sure to be constantly checking on us and making sure we have everything we need always! Ambiance is great and always nice and warm feeling. This is a place we always recommend to people, and we'll definitely continue coming back. read more

One of the few breakfast spots in town to offer truly really country potato's which you'd be surprised are hard to find. It's breakfast food but it's delicious breakfast food and the eggs are real eggs not the liquid eggs some other places use when you order scrambled eggs so it's a plus. read more

I used to go here for weekend brunch with my family when I was a kid and used to live several miles down the road. Came back to visit and stopped by for good old memory. Still with good services (better before in the late 80s) and good foods, slow service but it was busy morning so understandable. Decor still felt like back in the good old days but with modern touch. I came here for brunch on Saturday around 1130. There was a 10 minute wait and they don't take reservations. The inside had classic breakfast diner vibes. Our server Lindsey was awesome. Very patient and helped answer all of our questions and was attentive to all of our needs. I ordered the breakfast tacos which came with refried beans and I choose potatoes as my side. The menu packs meals into combos, so if you're looking for a simple egg and bacon breakfast you purchase items as sides. Our server provided outstanding service. It's a dim memory for me. I remember Fast Eddy's. But never stopped. The Cracked Egg is in the building now. If you like your food fast and restaurant loud and bustling this is your place. It is a restauranteur's dream. We ate at 10 am on a Monday. The house was full. Ashley was our server handling her tables well. She said her job is her gym. But, she gets paid instead of paying out. My lovely wife and I split a Denver omelette plus a side of crispy bacon. Sister had pancakes WAY bigger than her face. We brought 2/3 of her nreakfast home, finishing it today. It's a very open space with big windows and a bar/counter to eat if you choose with no waiting. I had the farmer's skillet and a flight of mimosas. The food was amazing. Tasted home-cooked and very well seasoned. The mimosas were strong but hey, that's what makes them so good. I had a traditional, orange pineapple, orange cranberry and a cranberry flavored mimosa. My friend brought over some food today from this restaurant for lunch. I ordered the French dip and fries, she ordered French toast, and my boyfriend ordered a country breakfast. I liked the beef in the French dip but I felt it was lacking the right quantity of meat and cheese. It was decent. I don't think the fries traveled well but they were edible. I think if I ate them fresh they would have been better vs floppy. She enjoyed her French toast, and even took some home with her. Hate to write this review because it will make it harder to get in. Every time we go it's always first class. Food, service all that you would expect from a "diner" type setting. Had the poncho omelette. The chorizo is the best I've had, (only lived in AZ 60+ years). Normally get a pancake, but saw the biscuit, and had it OMG, this big beautiful biscuit is the best, like out of a chuck wagon on the trail. Service was perfect. Great little spot!!!
