The service was great, however the actual seafood boil was not cooked the best. The crawfish were extremely overcooked and dry. No juices at all when you sucked on the head. The shrimp was also hard to peel and mushy. I do not recommend if you are coming to enjoy the seafood itself. The sauce is very good though, the only problem is the actual seafood (which the most important factor of it all)

Service is friendly and food is yummy! It's never over crowded and price is pretty ok for seafood boil it is seafood so it's not cheap.. definitely one of my families choices of seafood boil places to go to.

The end of feast!!

We usually eat at the one in Mesa, AZ But this time we were on this side of town and enjoyed ourselves!! As always great food our services was pleasant and nice. The restaurant wasn't crowded or busy but atmosphere was going good, we would go back to either one depends o. What side of town we on. Again a great place to eat at!!

We've been to so many different places that do this same thing of seafood cooked in a bag with butter and spices. They are all good. So I was happy to come to this one. As I waited for our food to come I already noticed one difference. The service here was top notch. Not just attentive but just a 100% nice person. Our appetizer of a dozen oysters on the half shell were very fresh and well shucked. We all ordered the same combo that came with head on shrimp and snow crab with potatoes and corn. We just varied on the seasonings that went into our bags. My brother got the cali-Cajun, my hubby got the lemon pepper Cajun and I got the garlic butter with lemon pepper. I have to say that mine was better than any other that I have ever had before. The atmosphere is very fun and casual. There are lots of cute nautical and pirate furnishings and there was a Zoltar machine there. For those who don't remember that is the machine that the little boy used to wish to become bigger in the Tom Hanks movie "Big". I will definitely make this a must go when I am in Arizona.

Absolutely delicious! The service was a bit slower than I would've liked & the servers could be a little more attentive, but the specials they offer balanced that out in my opinion. The perfect seafood boil for a steal + it comes with ice cream & their military offer is a free drink!! Where do they do that at? Apparently LA crab shack & I'll definitely be back.

After a long week we need some good food!

Our food was great, we came right before rush hour! The service was amazing. Loved the energy here. Can't wait to come back.

Everything was great here, I would say if you go to angry crab and read some of the reviews, I wouldn't say this place is better but I wouldn't say it's worse. They both have their unique taste and both are actually really good. To me angry crab sauce is a littler more runny and here the sauce is thicker like a rue. It is tasty but you can't compare it to the trifecta because it's a different taste: it is still very good, the medium heat to me felt like a low heat at angry crab so if you like stuff spicy definitely do the hot here. The service was great and the staff really took care of us. The restroom was clean and drinks were good. The only reason why I am giving them a 4 instead of a 5 is the shrimp was very over cooked. Other than that this place is very good.

Dozen oysters. So good and so fresh

Took my husband for his birthday and we had so much fun digging through our 4 pound bag of Alaskan King crab, clams, snow crab, and Dungeness crab clusters. The potatoes, sausage, egg and corn were great too. This was the first birthday with my husband that we didn't go somewhere fancy, and he said it was one of his favorite birthday dinners at LA Crab Shack. I'm drooling now just thinking about it and can't wait to go back. Just told my husband we need to have a date night really soon. PROS 1. Fresh seafood. 2. Waitress was very helpful and explained everything to us since it was our first time there 3. Laid back and casual vibe 4. They have a great assortment of seafood: clams, all kinds of crab, oysters, etc. CONS N/A

My first visit was on 8/22/25 for their healthcare night, where showing your healthcare job badge would get you an additional free raffle ticket from Cocina Hangouts (local food truck), on top of the free raffle ticket you could've received by following them on Instagram. Kind of underwhelming lol, but it did the job of attracting my party of 3 to the bar. I tried the Sweet Cheeks, which was sweet and unique and refreshingly light. The next time I stopped by was the very next day 8/23/25 for their Super Smash Bros tournament of up to 32 players, $10 buy-in, and cash prize (and other prizes for 2nd and 3rd place). There was 1 set-up with a large projector and 2 MC's. This was my first Smash tournament, but I didn't get to stay long due to work the next day, and I didn't purchase a drink. The event was very lively and crowded, and I wished I stayed longer! Will be back to participate/spectate another tournament. Overall lively dive bar that can provide a fun but chill night out! I'm also looking forward to taking advantage of their Monday-Friday 2-6p HAPPY HOUR if I have the chance.

We were very comfortably dressed, and no one looked sideways at us, but there were definitely people dressed to the nines! There was a party of women next to us, that were celebrating a birthday. We obliged them by taking their pictures all over the instagramable bar. Ryan was our waiter, and he is tops. Made some really good recommendations and was welcoming and attentive. I was just there for the drinks and enjoyed a lovely glass (or two) of wine, but my friends were feeling more adventurous and ordered some of their inventive cocktails. Including a couple of "Shot in the Dark" which could be ANYTHING. Also a burger was ordered and then brought up repeatedly for the next two days. According to him, it was possibly the best burger he had ever had. His face lit up at first bite. The menu is a mishmash of interesting options and the whole experience was not what we anticipated. In the best way.

The music was Bad Bunny themed on this Saturday so we all got our dance on. I enjoyed the huge breakfast burrito, it was full of deliciousness, papas, eggs, pico and Chipotle sauce. Based on the photos online, it looked like the perfect place for our group to gather. I confirmed my reservation through both the email and text reminders. On the day of our reservation, another partner agency happened to be in town and wanted to join us. Since the website wouldn't let me modify the reservation, I called four times after they opened to see if I could add a few more people. Unfortunately, no one ever answered the phone. We decided to arrive early and ask in person. The Service When we arrived, the restaurant was absolutely packed. The hostess told us we were welcome to walk through the bar to see if we could find a table ourselves, but that they were extremely busy and likely wouldn't have anything available. After looking around, we came back and asked if the patio was an option since the misters made it surprisingly comfortable despite the Arizona heat. We were told the patio was for reservations only. When I reminded the hostess that we had a reservation, the explanation suddenly changed to, "We're on an event menu tonight." She handed me the menu while I stood at the host stand, walked away, and never really explained what that meant for our reservation or whether we would actually be seated. When she returned, instead of offering a wait time or another solution, she suggested we try Thirsty Lion down the sidewalk instead. At that point, it became clear that our reservation wasn't going to be honored. Parting Thoughts I completely understand that restaurants get busy, especially during major events. What disappointed me wasn't the crowd--it was having a confirmed reservation, receiving multiple confirmation requests, making several unanswered phone calls beforehand, and ultimately being left without a table or a meaningful explanation.

This can be loud after reverberating off the patio but the play list while we were there had everyone signing along and playing cornhole.
