Customer service was nice. They are quick with making your bowls. If you buy the large then a 2nd round is only $1. Everything was very good, granted you chose your own sauce etc. We sat outside on the patio which is very spacious. They have complimentary chocolate ice cream, which the kids loved for dessert. The best customer service ever, hands down! The store owner, Ed, was such a breath of fresh air and extremely helpful with my fiancé and my questions. This location has been open for about 5 months now. The place was well-kept and organized. Fresh meat and veggies. I appreciate all the variety of sauces we get to choose from! The girl who took our order was really nice and welcoming! The food was delicious! You ordered the size bowl you wanted then filled it with meat and veggies then you could make your own sauce based off the recipes they have posted. You take the bowls to the cook who cooks the food on the flat top puts in a bowl and hands to you. It was delicious! Soooo many choices! Beef, pork, light and dark chicken meat, every veg I could think of, a dozen sauce options, 3 noodle choices plus 2 kinds of rice AND vanilla ice cream for after dinner. I'm stuffed! Also, unlike many Asian restaurants, this one was so clean you could eat off the floors. I actually got a tour of the kitchen, unannounced, and was very impressed by how spotless it was. This was basically just an average make your own Mongolian grill place. I did the all you can eat and the pricing was good for the amount of food. The options were plentiful but some of meat was semi thaw, which isn't always trustworthy, but everything tasted alright and it was a good place for our large group to all eat what we wanted. Came here with my husband yesterday and really enjoyed it. I really like that they have the sauce combo recipes posted on the wall in case you don't want to blindly experiment. They have a lot of ingredients to choose from to add to your bowl. We came in the middle of a Monday afternoon, so it wasn't busy and the service was quick. I definitely prefer this over YC's. The only thing that would have made it better would be if the chili oil was spicier and the bowls you build your dish in were a little bigger so the noodles don't hangout the sides. read more

This place is the worst place to get Mongolian! The noodles are gross they used chow mein noodles. They were sticky and tasted horrible! It was non edible! The place was clean, vegetables seem fresh. The restaurant is always very clean with a calm, friendly atmosphere. The service is perfect. The staff is very nice and friendly and someone is always available to help with anything you might need. I really enjoy mongolian grill. I came here to meet a friend after both of us got vaccinated. The thing about mongolian is that you use tongs to add your raw ingredients. Gloves and sanitizer were available but not enforced. I am being extremely cautious. Was happy to see that gloves and sanitizer were available but was very disappointed to see the owner or manager walking around without a mask or gloves. Phoenix still has a mask mandate in place. This restaurant is in Phoenix. I enjoyed my food very much but I believe the owner should set a better example for his loyal patrons. Was impressed at the amount of effort being made in what appears to be one of if not the only open restaurant standing in the slow death march that has killed everything else around and in Metro Center. Pretty clean (except the trays, I had to reject 3 before I didn't see anything visibly scary.) The meat troughs had the tongs mixed in with the chicken. I opted to use an alternate pair and picked around them reassuring myself that whatever I chose would be cooked at a high temperature. The selection was pretty extensive. Prices seemed a bit steep but I think I will get a second meal from my leftovers so I'm ok with it. Would I return? Maybe. Is it a solid effort? Yes. Do I think the more corporate Mongolian Grill offers a superior product? Yes. But these guys are making a solid effort. There's a lot to be said for that. And the egg roll and iced tea were decent with no odd before, during or after taste(s). That is not a small achievement in my book. read more

This place is (kinda) a hole in the wall and it's amazing! My boyfriend and I have been coming here for a few years and we haven't had a bowl we didn't like. The large bowls will EASILY feed me for 2+ meals so it's well worth it. The cashiers and cooks are always kind and great. There's no tip jar at the cash register but there is by the grills. Always tip your cook! Before tonight we would say that you can never have enough sauce but I read some of the other reviews, one of which the owner responded to saying that you can ask the cooks to use less water, or no water at all. Tonight I asked the cook to use less water than usual and the flavors of the sauces came through a lot better! I followed their sweet and sour recipe and added a little of the spicy too. That shows me this is a small business that deserves to my attention especially after a pandemic. My experience was good. I mentioned to the cashier that I had never been, and she gave a few suggestions on how service worked but nothing that blew my expectations out of the water for standard cashier service. Ingredient selection was good and the enjoyed following the sauce recommendation. (Chose beef and it was good texture, not gritty or slimy which indicates low grade beef. Chef was kind to explain the empty to go boxes were for the rice - wouldn't have known, the area was crowded with people waiting for food off the grill so I would not have known if he didn't mentioned. Be sure to tip your grill chefs, they're working fast and cooking over those hot grills with ease! read more

Explaining what to do when ordering the lunch specials and how to pick up your food was a challenge. I was very shocked they do not wear mask, gloves while cooking and taking your order and no sanitizer between customers at a buffet style restaurant (pick your food add to bowl they cook it). I will give it a 2.5 because of the cleanliness. It's very crowded so I can see people come here often on lunch breaks. I dined in because you are charged extra for a container. it's pretty expensive 14.95. There is a 10% Yelp coupon which helped . I will not be back not my type of restaurant. Food taste was a 2/5 nothing over the top at all. I was hungry for lunch near my clients so it was ok. They have a coke cola machine to mix flavors and make your own flavor (not impressed). The Blazin Mongolian BBQ is a sort of casual Stir Fry Buffet located in a half empty strip mall that is around the nearly deserted Metro Center Mall. You order and pay at the entrance and have several choices of stir fry bowls including an all-you-can-eat option bowl called the "Warrior." They offer several meat options and all the meats are sliced razor thin into wide frozen rolls that have to be squished down so you have room for food in your bowl. Then you help yourself and make your vegetable, noodle and sauce selection options. The Mongolian Grill master then cooks up your food and you have a few add on options to finish your bowl. Extras are available like white and fried rice, soup, fried noodles, beverages and self serve ice creams are included. My bowl came out very tasty. I picked dark meat chicken, vegetables and noodles for my bowl. The chicken in my dish almost dissolved because the chicken was so thin but my bowl still did actually taste good and was spicy too. I liked that my vegetables were tender crisp and not boiled like from some other Mongolian Grills. My husband picked the Warrior all you can eat with beef. The beef stayed more noticeable in the dish. He picked a different formula of sauces and his dish also came out tasty. If you need a good amount of protein you really have to go with the warrior option because the way the meat is sliced it's hard to get a lunch size portion. I found people watching very entertaining here. Some people are very masterful at piling bowls up sky high and squishing the bowls tight solid with food and then they reach the grill master with a mountain of food. You just have to visit to see the rest that I saw....... In the end the food did taste good and all the food I tried seemed fresh. I had a much better experience here than from other Mongolian Grills. I thought it was a good value. read more

This is a new (second) location of an established business, and I have been a regular at the other location for years. I am happy to report both that this new location is full of the same high-quality super-fresh ingredients that I've come to expect, and also that the staff members are very good at their jobs, too. The dining room and restroom were both immaculate, and when I got a tour of the kitchen, it was super-clean, too. The decor is light and open, the ventilation is great, and there is plenty of natural light from the windows, although the sun shades are handy, and ready for use when needed. There are plenty of different ingredients to choose, and also plenty of different sauces. Various recipes for sauces are posted for reference if you need ideas, but you're free to create your own, too. I will definitely be going back for more! read more

I love Mongolian BBQ and was super excited to try this place but I don't know that I will ever return. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant itself seemed clean but the food was just okay. The bowl that I made for myself was the best thing I ate and even that wasn't impressive. The egg rolls tasted like they were spoiled and the cream cheese wontons had a fishy flavor to them. If you are being Covid cautious I definitely wouldn't recommend eating here until things are "normal" again. The staff members all had masks but things were still set up buffet style and it felt kind of gross touching the same serving spoons as everybody else. Fantastic Mongolian, particularly for vegetarians and vegans, but great for carnivores too. This is the only Mongolian BBQ that I've been to with a lower-cost all-you-can eat vegetarian bowl. If you're not piling up meat, their food cost is lower and you're probably going to eat more to get the same calories. For $9.50 you get unlimited veggie-only bowls. The food quality is always great, everything is fresh. There are a lot of great choices. It's also one of the few places with fresh, not pickled, jalapeños, which I love. There are plenty of sauces to choose from, and they do a great job cooking it. Three kinds of rice and two kinds of soup round out your meal. Probably my favorite Mongolian in the valley. read more

Ordered take out food tonight. When I went to pickup, people ordering and making their bowls had no masks on. Staff did nothing about it. Chicken comes in thin slivers and is dry. Very disappointing. In response to owners comments: I understand it can be difficult to run a restaurant during this pandemic. However, I would suggest to at least post a sign requiring masks to be worn inside while not eating. Every other restaurant I have been to this weekend in Phoenix had one. You have a no gun sign posted. By doing nothing, you are in fact endangering employees and customers. I did order takeout and the chicken does not taste good as you prepare it.
