Best Crab Rangoon I've ever had and the dipping sauce had a delicate kick to it. Perfectly done!

Soooo many choices! Beef, pork, light and dark chicken meat, every veg I could think of, a dozen sauce options, 3 noodle choices plus 2 kinds of rice AND vanilla ice cream for after dinner. I'm stuffed! Also, unlike many Asian restaurants, this one was so clean you could eat off the floors. I actually got a tour of the kitchen, unannounced, and was very impressed by how spotless it was. Comfortable seating, plenty of room between tables, and very friendly staff. We're coming back!

Came here with my husband yesterday and really enjoyed it. I really like that they have the sauce combo recipes posted on the wall in case you don't want to blindly experiment. They have a lot of ingredients to choose from to add to your bowl. We came in the middle of a Monday afternoon, so it wasn't busy and the service was quick. I definitely prefer this over YC's. The only thing that would have made it better would be if the chili oil was spicier and the bowls you build your dish in were a little bigger so the noodles don't hangout the sides.

This place is the worst place to get Mongolian! The noodles are gross they used chow mein noodles. They were sticky and tasted horrible! It was non edible! The place was clean, vegetables seem fresh. Don't waste your money here they can't even get the noodles right! Not to mention oh I cannot give you a to go box that is an additional .25 cents. My daughter was ok with the rice noodles. Service was fine!

No complaints here!!! Service was amazing. Gisselle especially really set the tone for the entire transaction.

Ask the Community - Blazin Mongolian BBQ

What's the rule for the bowls, can you build them as high as you want?

Yes anything you can fit in the bowl pack it as high as you want.

Is this all you can eat?

Yes that’s an option it includes rice, soup, drink, and ice cream for $14.75.

Since it's create your own, what's stopping anyone from just making a beef only bowl?

We do not restrict what or how much of any ingredient you put in the bowl. However in my opinion having a variety of ingredients will make a much more enjoyable meal.

I loved every bite and literally crave this place!…read more Super easy concept you just grab a bowl, load it up with noodles, meats, veggies and whatever toppings look good to you then hand it to the cook and they throw it on the big grill right in front of you. There are so many good sauce selections to choose from and they all sound good, so I feel like you can't go wrong. I asked for help w/ the sauce and they put me on, it was perfect !! Everything came out sooo flavorful and tasted amazing. Just add some siracha for that heat and you're set! If you're in the area, def check it out !

A couple of friends and I went to YCs in Tempe and being first-timers, we wanted to learn more…read moreabout their bar flow processes of arranging our Mongolian bowls. As someone that's used to having Mongolian BBQ, I know different restaurants flow differently. Here's what to know: * Diners pre-pay for their bowls (small or large) right at walk-in. Past restaurants I've gone to handle payment after dining so this was different. * You take your bowl and begin building it with the noodles and toppings you desire as you go down the line. It's pretty simple. However, here's where a newcomer can question something -- their house/specialty sauces. They are labeled on the bar glass overhead but the labeling can be confusing to see on the bar to know if/when you're choosing the right sauces and some sauces are or may be new to a diner that is not familiar with its ingredients. If you get stuck on this, just ask the staff to help you. * Personally for me, anytime I have Mongolian I always ask the cook to first clean the grills before cooking my bowl to ensure two things: (1) If someone has a topping that you either don't like or maybe allergic to, cleaning the grills beforehand helps you (AND) (2) It gives you peace of mind knowing your food is being cooked on a cleaned hibachi grill rather than mixing your bowl's contents with other diners contents and seasonings. Asking the cooks to clean the grills beforehand helps before they cook your bowl is not a burden to them -- they are happy to clean it beforehand. The restaurant has a dark aesthetic ambiance which might feel a little dull but there is outdoor seating depending on the location, so there is that option. However, separating this from the dining experience is key because the food is flavorful based on your own preferences. It's a great place to enjoy for casual dining. YC locations are Gilbert, Scottsdale, Tempe/Phoenix. Happy grilling!

It's located in an outdoor shopping center, and although the restaurant is on the smaller side, the interior design and decor reminded me of many of the Korean BBQ restaurants back home in California. It felt cozy and authentic. This is not an all-you-can-eat restaurant. We ordered the Small Beef Combo, 2 side of rice, Korean dumplings, and the strawberry basil lemonade. The only unlimited items are the traditional Korean side dishes. We were served five different banchan along with two salads. While they didn't bring every available side dish, the ones we received were actually very good. Unfortunately, the service is what ruined the experience for me. Our server, Huy, was also serving my friends' family seated at the table next to us. They had ordered the same Small Beef Combo. When Huy started grilling our brisket, he accidentally dropped one of our slices of meat onto the floor. He paused, clearly noticed it, and so did everyone at our table. However, there was no apology, no acknowledgment, and no offer to replace the piece. He simply continued cooking as if nothing had happened. A few moments later, he placed a Prime Ribeye on our grill. I told him we hadn't ordered that cut--it belonged to my friends' table. He then picked up the entire plate of raw ribeye from our grill and transferred it to their table. Even though they were our friends sitting right next to us, that didn't seem like proper food handling. When I mentioned the mix-up, he simply said the kitchen had made a mistake. Again, there was no apology. Toward the end of the meal, it seemed like Huy realized I was unhappy, but he never addressed either incident. The missing piece of brisket wasn't a significant financial loss, and the food itself was good. My disappointment was with the service. Mistakes happen in every restaurant. What matters is acknowledging them, apologizing, and making a reasonable effort to make things right. A simple apology and replacing the dropped piece of meat would have completely changed my impression. Because of the service, I don't plan on returning, which is unfortunate because the food and atmosphere were otherwise enjoyable.

Most of the lower set tables were taken so the rez came in handy. Ample bar seating available however. Greeted right away by server and offered drink menus. Both the drinks were phenomenal. I originally wanted the Asahi but they were out of it so they gave me a Japanese Lager from Los Angeles (?), blanking on the name. The Caipirinia was the other drink which was made authentically as well. No complaints on the bartender. Food was 3 Bao Buns and a Chow Mein entree with grilled chicken added on top. This was the perfect amount of food for 2 people. The Bao Buns were extremely soft and light on the breading. If you get them from Din Tai Fung they tend to be dough heavy. These were NOT like that. Chicken and Eggplant buns were tasty and had a light kick to them. Noodles were probably the weakest items, I prefer the rice/flat noodles, but these were normal chow mein noodles. But I had to split the dish with my dining companion who enjoyed the noodles quite a bit. I'd go with Udon or Flat Noodles next time and ask them to add chili flakes. No room for dessert but it sounded delicious, something with bananas. Mhmmm!

We started with cold sake and a couple of cocktails. Super cute and yummy drinks, creative and complimented the overall theme. The Asahi beer was huge and came with an ice cold glass, perfect! We got the orange chicken and drunken noodles with added chicken breast. The food was fresh and tasty. I liked that the orange chicken came with rice, and was not overly breaded. A bunch of noodles or soup and rice you can get too in case you're not full. It was a good deal and price for what you pay for. The ambiance is also overall fine but can get noisy due to it being busy. The only complaint I have is it is stupid how you can only do one trip for the grill. Watching them work that grill is like witnessing a mix between a chef and a DJ--flipping, chopping, spinning your food like it's a hit track.
