Came here with my husband yesterday and really enjoyed it. I really like that they have the sauce combo recipes posted on the wall in case you don't want to blindly experiment. They have a lot of ingredients to choose from to add to your bowl. We came in the middle of a Monday afternoon, so it wasn't busy and the service was quick. I definitely prefer this over YC's. The only thing that would have made it better would be if the chili oil was spicier and the bowls you build your dish in were a little bigger so the noodles don't hangout the sides.

Noodle slection

This place is the worst place to get Mongolian! The noodles are gross they used chow mein noodles. They were sticky and tasted horrible! It was non edible! The place was clean, vegetables seem fresh. Don't waste your money here they can't even get the noodles right! Not to mention oh I cannot give you a to go box that is an additional .25 cents. My daughter was ok with the rice noodles. Service was fine!

No complaints here!!! Service was amazing. Gisselle especially really set the tone for the entire transaction.

Ask the Community - Blazin Mongolian BBQ

What's the rule for the bowls, can you build them as high as you want?

Yes anything you can fit in the bowl pack it as high as you want.

Is this all you can eat?

Yes that’s an option it includes rice, soup, drink, and ice cream for $14.75.

Since it's create your own, what's stopping anyone from just making a beef only bowl?

We do not restrict what or how much of any ingredient you put in the bowl. However in my opinion having a variety of ingredients will make a much more enjoyable meal.

This place is really good! We're from a different state where it's called Mongolian Grill, and…read morewe've been craving it for about four years. We were so excited to realize there was one right down the street from our house, next to the movie theater we always go to. My husband and I did the all-you-can-eat option. I'll admit--after two bowls, I was completely stuffed. Honestly, I could've just made one large bowl like everyone else and probably ended up with the same amount of food, but the price difference would've only been a couple of dollars anyway, so it really didn't matter. What I loved most was how easy the flavor options were. At the end, there's a bold, clear list that's easy to read and follow, so you can choose your sauce and seasoning based on the instructions. My food came out so flavorful and good that I ended up getting a second bowl--even though the first one already filled me up. With the all-you-can-eat option, you can choose white rice, brown rice, or fried rice, plus soup and bottomless drinks, which was really nice. I tried one of the soups and added rice to it, and it was surprisingly tasty. The fried rice wasn't quite traditional--it lacked eggs and a bit of flavor--but for free rice on the side, you really can't complain. This is definitely worth it for a cheap dinner or date night. The staff were young women, and the cooks were older gentlemen--everyone was respectful and friendly. One of the girls was even recording what seemed like a relative while he was cooking, and they were laughing together. It really gave off a family-run vibe, which made the experience feel warm and welcoming and made us want to come back!

I'm not sure what was worse? The owners threatening behavior to an unhappy former customer and…read moreanyone who is one or the service and dirty restaurant? Read the owners attempts to make everyone wrong who has a poor experience below and then threatens them with legal action, which is illegal! So I am expressing my disappointment with the treatment and overall experience I had at this restaurant. Unfortunately, from the moment we walked in, the experience was unacceptable from start to finish. To begin, the restaurant itself was in very poor condition. There was spilled liquid on the floor with a wet floor sign placed over it, but no effort was made to clean it up. Flies were present, and despite the restaurant being nearly empty, there were very few clean tables available for customers. At the register, I was prompted by screen to enter my phone number for your rewards program. While I was in the process of doing so, the cashier, the brunette employee wearing glasses, abruptly cleared the screen and told me that there was no rewards program and that I didn't know what I was talking about. This was both dismissive and unprofessional. As my friend and I proceeded through the buffet line, the same employee stood across from us and closely watched every item we placed in our bowls. This behavior felt intrusive, uncomfortable, and unwelcoming. The situation escalated further when I prepared my sauce in a bowl and added my noodles into it so they could absorb the sauce. The employee loudly reprimanded me, stating that noodles were only allowed to be placed on top of the other bowl, not inside the sauce. This seemed arbitrary and unnecessary, especially given that we had both purchased large bowls and did not take advantage of other included items such as drinks beyond water, soup, rice, or dessert. Being spoken to in that manner over something so trivial was frustrating and embarrassing. It felt as though the focus was on policing customers rather than providing a clean, welcoming, and professional dining environment. I have attached photos showing the condition of the restaurant and the lack of attention to cleanliness and customer service. It is concerning that more attention was given to monitoring customers' food choices than to maintaining the restaurant or assisting guests appropriately. I strongly encourage your team to reevaluate staff training, customer service standards, and cleanliness protocols at this location. This experience fell far below what should be expected from your brand.

Someone clearly spent time with the visual experience. This is what I call a restaurant designed for the 'Gram. However, a couple things that didn't quite full send. First, the service is incredibly slow. Staff was friendly, but "nice" doesn't equate to the textbook definition of hospitality. Things were slow, and unlike top end Korean restaurants I'm used to in NY and LA, where any floating staff can assist with cooking, things just took unnecessarily long. This is a pain point they really need to address, especially as a Korean restaurant. As a half-Korean, service and efficiency is part of our cultural pride, so this disappointed. The marinated beef ribs ("kalbi") were perfect. I grew up with this my whole life, and Sizzle's quality is right up there with kalbi royalty. If you've never had Korean bbq, and have only one chance to eat it THIS is the dish you want. The beef brisket ("chadol") was good too, but what makes this dish popular is the sauce. There are places in Korea and LA that people line up for specifically because of the chadol sauce. They didn't have a dedicated sauce, so if you've ordered and liked it, you're only getting half the picture. Dedicated chadol sauce is THE key, instead of the rudimentary salt or sesame oil. HUGELY disappointed! It's like trying pizza for the first time without tomato sauce, no matter HOW good the crust and cheese is. Other than that, like I said, they represented. However, I'd elevate on my 2 critical points, because someone could easily open up a competing restaurant, and wreck this place on service and sauce. Sizzle, you're very good, but you could be great!

On my last experience, Saturday March 28th, it was disappointing due to the way we were treated. We requested fish cake upon ordering and was told they just ran out, I commented/asked if that was truly the case as it is always out. At the very least, it's been the last 10 times they've been out of this side. We do go frequently, so it was surprising to hear him make this excuse. The remaining food service was average, it was busy so the server did the best he could under the circumstances. He attitude seemed fine and we moved on with our meal. Upon receiving our check, he decided to autograt our bill for a party of 5. I brought this up to our server and he stated it is managements decision to autograt parties of 5 or more (I call BS) and asked if it was because I seemed displeased at the ordering of our food due to the fish cake questions? I asked if I was profiled as someone who doesn't tip for any other reason? He insisted that all parties of 5 or more at the restaurant are autograt, at all Sizzles. At this point, if servers are now able to autograt any parties they feel a tip is not earned, it's no longer a tip and a restaurant charge. if I was profiled, it would seriously be disappointing. I'm happy to share all receipts showing a minimum of 20% at every restaurant, many cases even more, including at Sizzle. Deeply disappointing at this restaurant and may consider not going back. There are many options but to be treated this way is again, disappointing at best. I rated 2 stars due to the interaction and excuses for the autograt and will be writing a letter to the management but affirm the food/meat quality is very good, this was a very bad reflection of service and decision for the service staff to secure their tip this way. If they're out of fish cake, I do not blame the server and it is not their compensation that should be impacted but the action taken by the staff is questionable.

For whatever reason, Chinese restaurants in Arizona serve egg hockey pucks and cover it with various items and call it egg foo young. I even asked about it before I ordered it. Alas when I got home and saw what I had, I was disappointed. It's faster to make it this way but the egg hockey puck had no taste - zero. They could have at least added oyster sauce, a little soy sauce, maybe nam plah, and perhaps sesame oil. It was tasteless. A complete miss. I also ordered something simple, shrimp spring rolls. They were delicious! I inhaled them and will order them again. I'd go again just for the spring rolls. Maybe they have other dishes that are good and I may not entirely give up but the egg foo young is a no go.

First off, the concept is elite--you build your own bowl like a culinary mastermind. Want noodles? Done. Extra meat? Obviously. Way too many sauces because you got overconfident? No judgment here (we've all been there). Then they take your chaotic masterpiece and toss it on a giant sizzling grill like it's dinner and a live performance. The cooks? Absolute legends. Watching them work that grill is like witnessing a mix between a chef and a DJ--flipping, chopping, spinning your food like it's a hit track. And somehow, no matter how questionable your sauce combinations were, it comes out tasting incredible. Portions are huge, prices are fair, and the vibe is always fun and laid-back. It's the kind of place where you accidentally eat way too much and then immediately start planning your next visit. YC's isn't just food--it's an experience. A bunch of noodles or soup and rice you can get too in case you're not full. It was a good deal and price for what you pay for. The ambiance is also overall fine but can get noisy due to it being busy. The only complaint I have is it is stupid how you can only do one trip for the grill. No matter you go for lunch or dinner, you can only do one trip which is why you need to fill up as much you can in your bowl. Also the sauce recipes could be a bit confusing as well as trying to figure out where to place the stuff to make your sauce for the grill. But it still adds great flavor to your stuff.
