    2 "chicharrón" (smh) tacos & 1 asada
    Briana P.

$4.25 for ONE Chicharrón taco is insaneeee! Mind you-- the "chicharrón" was cut up in tiny tiny little pieces -- a scam! Andddd i didnt really taste it. It wasn't good at all 1/10. $3.25 for ONE asada taco. The taco was good. Nothing unique but good 8/10. The limonada was $5 and that was the best of those 3 items! 10/10. I came here bc I work nearby, but never again will I go here for tacos. I rather go to El Asadero" , across the street! (Which btw their lemonade just as FIRE too) . Idk $18 for 3 tacos & a drink doesn't sit right with me. Now I know why it's empty

After a long day at the Phoenix convention center, we realize that we didn't have a snack to eat so on the way to the freeway decided to stop by my old stomping ground food truck spot. There are usually two different trucks in the parking lot the first one has Tacos, Burritos, and more while the second one is more seafood base and also has the infamous Sonoran hotdogs. It was hard to not go all out and get dinner, so instead decided to get the Carnes asada tacos & Burrito (to split) along with a side of rice & beans. They weren't stingy with the meat and it packed flavor. Man, they both are on point & hit the spot for us. If you have cash, a bonus as they do tac on a small fee for credit cards. Food didn't take long and was compliment with 2 ice cold Cokes from the ice chest!!!

I have been here in 2017, which was 6 years ago and loved the tacos I had and had to come here this time while I was visiting Arizona. Monday late morning, it was not busy but some people were there. We got two burritos con carne asada. $11 even each, however, they do charge credit card fee of $1. So, it came out to $23 for two burritos. I saw most of the people were paying in cash. The food was beyond amazing. We had fancy Mexican food in Sedona which we were not amazed by the taste but surprised by the price. This place just made us happy in all ways. The amount of meat in the burrito, all the ingredients and seasoning making great harmony together, the service and the reasonable price! However, it is a food truck so it was a little bit chilly as it was cloudy and their tent above us doesn't block the wind blowing from the side. Nevertheless, this is a great Mexican food spot for sure.

We found this taco truck on a late night coming from the airport when we got out the car we knew it was a good spot ! Food Smells delicious just from the walk up and the food was good ! Al Pastor (pork) was perfect and tender. A lil greasy but expected and food was affordable

Very good tasting tacos. They have a few trucks ready to serve and the food was what I expected. Would come again and recommend this place!

You can always expect authenticity and humility from taco trucks in Arizona. This truck is open late, and serves great food. Stopped by after a long flight home, and was impressed by the amount of meat they put in their tacos. The prices are not outrageous (8 tacos, 2 sodas for about $32), but they're not dirt cheap either. In terms of quality, the tacos were good - not the best, not the worst. Their guacamole was not great, and the salsa was not all that spicy; the cucumbers on the side did not taste fresh tho. That being said, I would definitely return! I am a fan!

Hands down some of the best street tacos I've tried. The pastor is full of flavor and the asada has the perfect crisp to it. They give you some yummy salsas and grilled onions if you request them. This place is so good my mother in law who lives out of state would literally plan her flight into to phoenix right before lunch time so we could take her here every time!

If you're in downtown Phoenix and want some authentic Mexican tacos from a food truck then stop by this spot. It hits different especially on a Tuesday. I ordered 3 chicken tacos and my girlfriend ordered 3 carne asada. We both thought it was lovely. The food was ready in a couple minutes as when we got there it was empty. The chicken tacos tasted just how I wanted them to!

From what I understand, the truck moves around to different locations, so it's worth keeping an eye out for where they'll be next. We ordered three Viva Mexico burgers and one bacon avocado burger, plus fries. The total came out to around $80 for the four of us. It's a little on the high side for burgers and fries, but the quality and portion sizes were definitely solid. The fries were a standout. They're hand cut and cooked in beef tallow, which gives them a rich flavor you don't get from typical fries. My son immediately said they're in his top three fries he's ever had, which says a lot. The burgers were big, messy, and really flavorful, definitely a little greasy, but in the best way. The Viva Mexico burgers had great flavor, and the bacon avocado burger was just as good. Overall, if you like a good, greasy burger and excellent fries, La Hambuguesa is worth trying.

My friends and I arrived about 20 minutes before the truck opened, and there were already a few people standing in line. The line moved pretty quickly, and the total time from ordering and receiving our food was only about 15 minutes. At this time, the line wrapped around the truck. The food came out hot and fresh. Filet-o-fish is one of my favorites of all time, and the filet de fish did not disappoint at all! The first bite had us levitating and seeing stars. The tartare sauce that the fried fish was smothered in was delicious and creamy, and the fish fillet itself was tender and flaky. The toasted and soft Japanese bun was the cherry on top. Simple and comforting and nostalgic, but elevated in the best way. We also tried their popular Viva Mexico, but we felt like it lacked in flavor and only tasted spicy, if that makes sense. Beef tallow fries were okay and not anything special. Great portions, however, it was still pretty expensive for a food truck burger. I'm glad I got to try this place out and will be back if the filet de fish hits the menu again, and would try their Signature next time.

The service isn't rude but it's not friendly either, 3/5. I tried the birria hard shell tacos, rice and beans, 'random af' fries with asada, California burrito, and birria grilled cheese. The birria hard shell tacos ($8) were not very good. Kind of bland, the shells were overdone and greasy, and there wasn't enough meat on the tacos. The rice is spotty with some being too overcooked and crunchy. The beans were bland and very runny, not a huge fan. 2/5 The birria grilled cheese ($15) had too much cheese for me and was also kind of bland and one note. Decent but wouldn't get again. 3/5 The California burrito ($18) didn't have guac inside which I found strange. The fries aren't crispy at all and very potato-y, it takes over the burrito a bit too much. The lack of guac makes the burrito lack a bit of pop and a balance of flavors. The meat is tender but leaning on the salty side with not a lot of other seasonings. The portion size is big but not very worth imo. 2/5 The crazy fries ($15) again are not crispy which I didn't like. A lot of potato with little meat. The sauces were fine. The whole dish is leaning very heavily on the flavor of the sauces instead of the meat/fries. 3/5 The side of consomme was also not great, pretty bland for consomme. 2/5 Overall, the flavor profile of this restaurant is very similar across all the dishes. Kind of bland and greasy. It's pricey and on the stingier side for meat portions. They desperately need some kind of bright(er) flavor to balance out the carby/greasy food. Kudos to the presentation and marketing which they do well considering the food looks good and seems to be popping up on social media. The food itself definitely doesn't live up to the standard and is pricey. 3/5, closer to a 2 than a 4, would not recommend.

The sauces were great but a little too much sauce imo. It made me messy, so if you get this, unless you're eating with a fork and knife, get a stack of napkins. Def would eat it again. The boil shrimp dumplings were mid. Too much chili (and I love chili) and cilantro. Also too much cumin. I like to taste the shrimp when I eat shrimp dumplings and prefer when there's chunks of shrimp. Couldn't taste much except the chili, cilantro and cumin. So if you're obsessed with those flavors, this is for you. The dumpling wrapper was nice though cooked nicely, good consistency/texture.

The green curry dumplings are a nice sized order and came with some lime to squeeze over the dumplings tossed in a green curry sauce. There was also plenty of cilantro on top! These had a bit of a slow heat to them - nothing over the top but it was there. The lamb bao was beautiful and tasty! The lamb patty was delicious, not gamey at all and cooked perfectly.
