Super delicious bbq. This place opens at 11am and there is always a line of at least 15 people…read morewaiting to get served. I highly recommend the green chili burrito and the two meat plate with brisket and ribs. The service is good as well, they'll help you find a parking spot and help you get out of that spot, they'll parking in front of the restaurant is almost always full.

Pretty much every type of meat that they had was a hit. Some of the meat was a bit salty, but it wasn't salty enough to affect my culinary experience. Overall I thought it was very delicious. Naturally, the sliced brisket was very juicy and tasty, and the chopped brisket provided good textural consistency along with the flavor. I also thought that the turkey breast was a good item to neutralize the strong taste that came from some of the meat, such as the pork belly burnt ends, which were both sweet and salty. The sausage pieces were also great in providing a layer of flavor distinct from the other kinds of meat. The pork spare ribs were generous in size, although I thought the sauce could be a bit less sweet. Overall, very solid barbeque meat and I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone that visits the Phoenix area.

O.M.G. The perfect…read moreopportunity to go whole hog... First of all, I rarely care for the interior of most Phoenix restaurants, but this restaurant is magnificent. Comfortable, sorta on the dark side. Classy. As I was not driving today, I decided to try their smoked Old Fashioned. Excellent -- and the dark cherries they use are the perfect addition to the cocktail. (The glass is coated with smoke from a smoldering piece of pecan wood, and the cocktail was served with a cloud of smoke under a coaster covering the glass.) The pig sickles ( ribs) were the perfect chance to make a pig of myself. Had the two meat plate, pig sickles and barbecued pulled chicken, If you like corn, you must have the side of corn with your dinner. The barbecue beans were delicious. Our server did a magnificent job tending to our drinks, appetizer, and food orders -- despite being very busy (the place was packed! -- and seemed like she was in constant motion. Very nice individual who liked la Prices? It was expensive, but the best barbecue always is. Eating isn't cheap. It was well worth every dollar spent. All in all, it was a perfect dinner. The perfect parting gift: a small paper bag containing four small donuts, coated with cinnamon. Our bag didn't make it home... I think we've found the perfect place to bring our family and out-of-town guests for dinner.

Saw Mission mentioned on a YouTube video, that listed the five best and five worst barbecue chains…read morein the country.. Mission was #5 on the five best list. So we decided to try it out, did an online order for takeout. I had the brisket and pulled pork. Both were amazing. My sides was Maggie's Mac n Cheese. It's was sooo good. My roommate got the salmon, pulled pork and the Mac n cheese. She said it was very tasty. Both of tried the peach cobbler, and both agreed it's the best we've had. The woman that got my order together was very nice and informative. Do not remember her name. But the initials GD were on the first time card she gave us.. We will definitely be back. also love the fact they support the armed forces and first responders. And lived seeing a sign that read "Play like a champion today" Being a Notre Dame fan, that is Hugh bonus points. #GoIrish

Decided to try this place because our favorite bbq spot ran out of brisket…read more Pulled in the empty parking lot. Not a good sign although it was early 4:30, on a Saturday. Had a good score (4.7) so we decided to give it a shot Nice place inside. Decorated with veterans in mind. Has a similar setup to Rudy's where you order/pay up front and they call you up when it's ready. Was kind of worried because the place didn't smell like bbq. Ordered the turkey and jalapeno sausage with a side of bbq beans. Has a selection of six different bbq sauces at the table. I wasn't too impressed with any of them. There is a mustard sauce up by the drinks that was pretty tasty tho. The turkey was dry. The sausage had decent spices but the skin was a little tough. Neither had a bbq/smoky taste. The beans tasted like canned pork and beans with sugar and bits of brisket added. All and all I wasn't too impressed and probably won't be back. The staff was friendly and helpful and I was hoping it would be better

There wasn't a big wait time for the food at all! Soon after we arrived, the corn bread was served (yummy but it fell apart easily), shortly followed by our spinach queso appetizer (very yummy), and not too long after that, our main course arrived (SUPER yummy). We ordered the Whole Hog Heaven, which was definitely worth its price for our family of 4 -- It came with your choice of 2 ribs/2 meats/3 sides. We ended up packing up the leftovers, aka a lil over half of the platter that was left... we made it our lunch/dinner for the following day lol. The waitress also offered complimentary warm/fresh donuts after we finished our meal, and the donuts were AMAZING. Kinda had the taste and texture of a churro. We were here for Easter Sunday, so I thought it was cute to see a little festivity with the egg and bunny decoration to our drinks (check my image). The vibe in here was pretty sociable, I would overall def recommend this place for any mini group gathering :) One small thing I will say is that the Brussel sprouts were a bit overly flavored or saucy
