I walked in and was seated pretty quickly. I didn't wanna sit at the bar, and they had plenty of tables opened, so I asked for one of them. I was given the both, which is why I suspect it took mw some time to get initial service. I wasn't in a rush, so no biggie though. I ordered my soup and pot stickera to start. The soup was solid, but like a 6/10 of being hot (temp wise). The pot stickers were solid, but I would have appreciated them if they were a bit cruncher. As for the main meal, the avocado roll was delicious but you can't really mess that up. I loved the lollipop roll even if it is a bituch for just 1 bite. The salmon saahimi was good, quite small. I feel like the nigiri for the same price would have had bigger pieces? I do love that they have fresh wasabi. It is also a nice addition. Overall, it's a solid place. Would be higher if service was more attentive to start and the sashimi was a bit bigger, but overall def worth the visit.

I opted to create my own bowl this time. The person who prepared this for me seemed to try to rush me through the line. I was making my selections for the veggies and topping at each station and she tried to skip over all of this to get straight to the end at the register. I was not dilly-dallying or doing anything that would warrant someone to rush me so that was a little annoying. In any event, I was satisfied with my order from this visit. I will have to ding them on the popcorn chicken - some of it was overcooked and tough. I am looking forward to trying out more things and will be back!

Thai Chicken is moist with nice slight char to give you that depth of flavors. Can easily share this. Egg rolls were crispy on the outside and moist inside, served with a great orangish red sauce. The orange chicken is nice and light fried like tempura... would go back just for this. Service was great from both the restaurant and the delivery people.

I ordered the way I did on purpose. These are my go to Thai dishes. The staples. I wanted to taste everything I consider my personal favorites so I could really gauge the restaurant across the board. The vegetable egg rolls and chicken satay were good. Solid. The potstickers were good. The chicken larb was actually good, maybe a little too much sugar, it tasted slightly sweet, but still one of the stronger dishes. Mango sticky rice was enjoyable. The Thai iced tea, flavor was on point. That's actually my first indicator when I try a Thai restaurant. The only thing that would've made it better is crushed ice. Real Thai spots usually use crushed ice. It melts perfectly and dilutes the sweetness just right. When you use block ice, the tea stays too sweet longer. Crushed ice gives it that smooth balance. Small detail, but that's how I gauge authenticity. Now to the honest part. The pad Thai was mediocre. It was lacking. I've definitely had better and I wouldn't recommend that dish. The spicy fried rice was okay, nothing special. The lad na gravy was way too thick, and instead of using Chinese broccoli, they used regular American broccoli. That's usually my second give when I rate a Thai restaurant. Traditional lad na uses Chinese broccoli. That swap changes the texture and the authenticity of the dish. They also didn't have the typical sauce that usually complements lad na, which I found strange for a Thai restaurant. The Thai fried rice was decent. Overall, I'm giving this place four stars. Here's my why. First, they didn't have common condiments that are pretty standard at most Thai restaurants. That threw me off. Second, the service. They weren't rude at all. Everyone was friendly. But the attentiveness just wasn't there, especially considering we placed a large order and the restaurant wasn't that busy. Third, the flavor and authenticity details. It just didn't hit the way traditional Thai food usually does. I've eaten Thai food all my life, especially in Thai Town in California and throughout Orange County, and the flavor profile here wasn't on that level. If someone asked me if I would return, probably not. But don't let my review stop you. Be your own judge. My goal isn't to hurt the business. It's feedback. Tighten up the service, dial in the flavor, stick closer to traditional ingredients, and it could easily level up to five stars for my taste. And yes, expectations vary. I've eaten a lot of Thai food, so I may be grading on a different curve. One more tip, if you're a party of six or more, double check your receipt. Gratuity was already included in ours and I didn't realize until I got back to where I was staying since I'm out of town. I had to call and have the extra tip removed. Just keeping it real.

To be clear, I am a New Yorker and know good fast Chinese food. The ambiance was promising. It looked like I was finally going to find what I've been looking for in Phoenix for years. For whatever reason, Chinese restaurants in Arizona serve egg hockey pucks and cover it with various items and call it egg foo young. I even asked about it before I ordered it. Alas when I got home and saw what I had, I was disappointed. It's faster to make it this way but the egg hockey puck had no taste - zero. They could have at least added oyster sauce, a little soy sauce, maybe nam plah, and perhaps sesame oil. It was tasteless. A complete miss. I also ordered something simple, shrimp spring rolls. They were delicious! I inhaled them and will order them again. I'd go again just for the spring rolls. Maybe they have other dishes that are good and I may not entirely give up but the egg foo young is a no go.
