So it pains me to write this, but after not eating here in a awhile it's definitely changed and not necessarily in the best of ways. 1. Price has gone up for everything 2. Portions are smaller than what they once were 3. Quality of food isn't what it was prior to this review The food is overly greasy now which could be attributed to cheaper cuts of meat as the asada is fattier and tastes different than before Portions are so small for the price point that it's almost laughable at the price. Please do better you guys were genuinely a great gem and spot to eat at. Service is still great so that's a plus at least. Be mindful this is in a gym/training parking lot so it does get crowded at night with all the people and parking can be hard at times.
I was recommended this spot so I got their 3 taco combo with Mexican slaw and CRISPY fries. It came with a drink so I got horchata. I choose "lost meat", which I believe is slow cooked brisket. I also got the Doritos nachos with "lost meat" which is a small bag of Doritos made into nachos. Hands down those "lost meat" tacos were FIRE!!! The Mexican slaw was flavorful and those crispy fries were absolutely crispy plus had some good flavor! The horchata was really good too. The doritos nachos got kind of soggy quickly but still were tasty. This experience was so great I went back the next day and got a full order of nachos with "lost meat" and was in heaven!!! Service is amazing, they are very nice and the food will not disappoint. I will be back often!
Very close to home so decided to swing by for dinner. They have so many options which I'm pretty pleased! And I like seafood and Mexican so when they have shrimp or fish options, I usually jump to it lol. The service was ok. As good as it can be for a food truck I believe. We just waited for the food to come out for quite a bit, maybe it felt longer we because we stood there as we waited. The food was phenomenal and I would definitely get it again! It's in the sportsplex parking lot so ambiance is as good as it gets haha.
Food is legit and full of flavor. Had QuesaBirria and side of beans. Both were amazing!! Fresh handmade corn tortillas while I waited!!! Owner was cool too.

GO AND CHECK THIS PLACE OUT. I drive by it all the time and we finally stopped to try it and I have been dreaming of the food ever since. Decently priced, homemade ingredients (get the corn tortillas... even if you don't like corn tortillas, try one), and out of this world flavor. We liked it so much we went back to order other items to try! Now that's saying something. We did the elote, the Rajas special taco of the day, carne asada, a smoked brisket, and the quesabirria. We also got an agua Fresca, that was delightful. Hands down my favorite was the brisket. Smokey, saucey, melt in your mouth heaven. The Rajas was also VERY good and super unique. The Quesabirria was LOADED with delicious meat, and the consumé dipping sauce? FIRE. This will be our go to from now on, I can't wait to try all the other, I am sure, amazing options. Super friendly, good food, good price...if I could give it six stars, I would.
This was our first time in Arizona and coming from LA our taco truck expectations are super high. Thankfully were not disappointed! I got the asad a bowl and my partner got a asada burrito. We were impressed with the flavors of the food and the salsa was good. Let me tell you they know how to make that habanero salsa . We will have to stop by again before we head back to LA.
This food truck was sooo good! I had a craving for Birria ramen and this food truck is close by home. They have tacos, burritos, nachos etc. they have great options. We got a California burrito, birria ramen ($15 for a small) and a strawberry horchata ($11)..yeah, you heard right STRAWBERRY horchata! They are a bit pricey as it was $40+ for the 3 items but the food was really good. The California burrito has crispy French fries. It's some good drunk people food lol it had great flavor and we loved it. The birria ramen was full of carne and excellent flavor. The strawberry horchata was a first for me and I could drink a pitcher of it. Classic horchata flavor with strawberry purée I believe. Didn't taste fake and was super refreshing. Will definitely stop by again!
OMG- in the area and wanted some Mexican. Googled and found this place. Cannot say enough good things- we got 3 different burritos , the tacos Burria, and the French fry nachos - everyone shut up and go here now. Amazing - why can't this be in NH where we live. Lallo (sp?) was friendly and gave great recommendations. You are missing out if you don't come here - Run don't walk as they say.
The quesabirria tacos, and quesabirria ramen are worth visiting them for, perfect flavor and spice. If you like beef broth stews you'll love the quesabirria ramen. The shrimp tacos were okay. Will have to come back to try the strawberry horchata. They have tables and chairs.
Best quesabirria ever!!! So flavorful, cheesy, crispy etc. Been here twice and will keep coming back! The guys here are so nice and great customer service! Love it!

Really good food The bowl was a good size and the flavors work well together. Staff is friendly and they are pretty quick in making them The Jamaica was not good it tasted old and it had a weird after taste but the burrito and the bowl were delicious/ they grub hub and door dash and it seems that people use that instead of eating there. They do have seating area on the side. Overall good food the drinks were not but will definitely be back for the food. read more
The first thing you notice when you walk up to this restaurant is that it is a food truck, that deserves to be a restaurant. And then you are going to spend a good long time at the sandwich board menu because there are options like none other. The Lost Menu, where there are so many unique items, you are going to be standing there a lil' lost and not knowing what to do, and the regular-ish menu. I stayed mostly there but smoked beef taco? Yes, please. I ordered that and also a carne asada and a birria. I felt a big piggish, but I had to. Then again, I'm glad I did because while they were packed ingredients, they were on the small side. What other restaurant gives you the option of flour, corn or homemade corn tortillas? Did I have any other choice but to order the latter? Unfortunately, one fell apart, it was so stuffed with goodness, but I won't hold that against them. The meats were all unique and delicious. I was the most confused by the smoked beef. It reminded me of some meat I had in Italy that was black but not charred and melted when I bit into it. I don't need to experience that again, but I could eat the other traditionally tender and flavorful versions daily. The three-taco combo comes two sides. I almost ordered fries but when I shifted to beans and rice, out of fairness to tradition, I got a nod of approval. But, I have a feeling I would have gotten one no matter what I did, because of patience and kindness of these Lost Burro folks. The rice was middling but those beans - didn't taste as though they'd ever seen the inside of a can. Thick, rich and flavorful. I ordered a side of consume, just because it was bone broth, and I hadn't seen that before. It was tasty, but I realized more prefer a red broth with big chunks of stewed beef. I will judge you unkindly if you give me a Jamaica that is just one step up from Koolaid. Nah, these folks had me wash it all down with icy cold tea goodness, with a star anise waiting for me at the bottom of my cup. I wish I did not live an hour away. It's not fair. read more

It's Taco Tuesday and I just want to say that I have found the BEST tacos! These are amazing tacos and the best I have had! I found this place on Yelp awhile back and just haven't had the chance to go yet, but did today. This is a food truck called Lost Burro and they are usually at this location, 83rd and Peoria Ave. It's not in Surprise, but a close and short drive. We had the quesabirria tacos, carne asada/steak tacos, al pastor taco, smoked beef taco, and shrimp tacos. The carne asada tacos were SO flavorful! They come with an avocado crema that's awesome. My husband said the al pastor was the best he has had! They had pickled pineapple on them. I also had the shrimp tacos and I loved them SO MUCH! They look spicy with their coloring and spices, but they were pretty mild. They also had walnuts on them, which I thought gave them a nice crunch. The quesabirria tacos were delicious! We also had refried beans (I forgot to take a pic) and I liked them; they have a little spice and kick. My husband got the strawberry horchata and he said it was so tasty and refreshing! I thought it was really cute how they presented it. The smoked beef taco is so interesting and something I haven't seen before but it was delicious as well. These are the best damn tacos! They alsp have other things on the menu, like burritos, quesadillas, nachos, and other stuff. The customer service was great and they checked on us multiple times and helped us with the menu since we were new. I keep thinking about them and am already planning my return. Soooo good! Found this place in front of the pawn shop and heard that they had some killer tacos. I was in the mood for carne asada fries though, and they got me just that! The fries were delicious, the carne asada tasted smoky and seasoned, the toppings tasted fresh, the cheese was coating everything it touched. Also got one of all their sauces to try (which you do not need at all), because the tacos, on their own, are so juicy & full of flavor. I've had tacos in the meca of Mexican food, LA area. Gotta say these are the best tacos that I've had in a long time. Service was quick and friendly. Since it's a trailer it is in a parking lot setting, but there are a few tables, or bring a chair and chill by the rivers edge. read more

Some of the best Mexican food I've had in Arizona not at my nana Juan's house. Service is wonderful greeted with a smile when ordering and the food comes out super fast even when busy. Such a cool food truck too the design is really out of this world. Great seeing some former chefs from Mastros starting to do what they really love.
