The first thing you notice when you walk up to this restaurant is that it is a food truck, that deserves to be a restaurant. And then you are going to spend a good long time at the sandwich board menu because there are options like none other. The Lost Menu, where there are so many unique items, you are going to be standing there a lil' lost and not knowing what to do, and the regular-ish menu. I stayed mostly there but smoked beef taco? Yes, please. I ordered that and also a carne asada and a birria. I felt a big piggish, but I had to. Then again, I'm glad I did because while they were packed ingredients, they were on the small side. What other restaurant gives you the option of flour, corn or homemade corn tortillas? Did I have any other choice but to order the latter? Unfortunately, one fell apart, it was so stuffed with goodness, but I won't hold that against them. The meats were all unique and delicious. I was the most confused by the smoked beef. It reminded me of some meat I had in Italy that was black but not charred and melted when I bit into it. I don't need to experience that again, but I could eat the other traditionally tender and flavorful versions daily. The three-taco combo comes two sides. I almost ordered fries but when I shifted to beans and rice, out of fairness to tradition, I got a nod of approval. But, I have a feeling I would have gotten one no matter what I did, because of patience and kindness of these Lost Burro folks. The rice was middling but those beans - didn't taste as though they'd ever seen the inside of a can. Thick, rich and flavorful. I ordered a side of consume, just because it was bone broth, and I hadn't seen that before. It was tasty, but I realized more prefer a red broth with big chunks of stewed beef. I will judge you unkindly if you give me a Jamaica that is just one step up from Koolaid. Nah, these folks had me wash it all down with icy cold tea goodness, with a star anise waiting for me at the bottom of my cup. I wish I did not live an hour away. It's not fair. read more

Staff is friendly and they are pretty quick in making them The Jamaica was not good it tasted old and it had a weird after taste but the burrito and the bowl were delicious/ they grub hub and door dash and it seems that people use that instead of eating there. I was recommended this spot so I got their 3 taco combo with Mexican slaw and CRISPY fries. It came with a drink so I got horchata. I choose "lost meat", which I believe is slow cooked brisket. I also got the Doritos nachos with "lost meat" which is a small bag of Doritos made into nachos. Hands down those "lost meat" tacos were FIRE!!! The Mexican slaw was flavorful and those crispy fries were absolutely crispy plus had some good flavor! The horchata was really good too. The doritos nachos got kind of soggy quickly but still were tasty. This experience was so great I went back the next day and got a full order of nachos with "lost meat" and was in heaven!!! So it pains me to write this, but after not eating here in a awhile it's definitely changed and not necessarily in the best of ways. 1. Price has gone up for everything 2. Portions are smaller than what they once were 3. Quality of food isn't what it was prior to this review The food is overly greasy now which could be attributed to cheaper cuts of meat as the asada is fattier and tastes different than before Portions are so small for the price point that it's almost laughable at the price. Please do better you guys were genuinely a great gem and spot to eat at. Service is still great so that's a plus at least. Very close to home so decided to swing by for dinner. They have so many options which I'm pretty pleased! And I like seafood and Mexican so when they have shrimp or fish options, I usually jump to it lol. The service was ok. As good as it can be for a food truck I believe. My wife and I stopped by and everything we tried was legit delicious. We ordered grilled shrimp, pastor, and carnitas tacos, all on their fresh corn tortillas that they make right there. You can taste the difference. The horchata was perfect too, not overly sweet, just really refreshing. Tacos in Arizona have been hit or miss for me since I'm from California, but this place is one I'd actually recommend. Stopped by to try this place after seeing it in Yelp - probably the best breakfast burrito we've had in a long time. It's so well seasoned and there's this sauce in there that's delicious. We got Al pastor and they weren't shy with it. This is a big loaded burrito. We also got a Jamaica that was delicious too. The burrito and large drink came out to about $23 which is a little steep. It's Taco Tuesday and I just want to say that I have found the BEST tacos! These are amazing tacos and the best I have had! I found this place on Yelp awhile back and just haven't had the chance to go yet, but did today. This is a food truck called Lost Burro and they are usually at this location, 83rd and Peoria Ave. It's not in Surprise, but a close and short drive. We had the quesabirria tacos, carne asada/steak tacos, al pastor taco, smoked beef taco, and shrimp tacos. The carne asada tacos were SO flavorful! They come with an avocado crema that's awesome. My husband said the al pastor was the best he has had! They had pickled pineapple on them. I also had the shrimp tacos and I loved them SO MUCH! They look spicy with their coloring and spices, but they were pretty mild. They also had walnuts on them, which I thought gave them a nice crunch. The quesabirria tacos were delicious! We also had refried beans (I forgot to take a pic) and I liked them; they have a little spice and kick. My husband got the strawberry horchata and he said it was so tasty and refreshing! I thought it was really cute how they presented it. The smoked beef taco is so interesting and something I haven't seen before but it was delicious as well. These are the best damn tacos! They alsp have other things on the menu, like burritos, quesadillas, nachos, and other stuff. The customer service was great and they checked on us multiple times and helped us with the menu since we were new. I keep thinking about them and am already planning my return.
