This taco truck has BY FAR the best tacos I've had in Phoenix!!! I love that they add the pineapple to the Al Pastor meat, most tacos spots do not do this! It's like the cherry on top. They pack the tacos with so much meat unlike other taco places in the valley. Absolutely 10/10 could eat this every day! It's very inconspicuous because it shares a parking lot with a small car dealership. The owners are very friendly too! You have to go here!!!

We go mainly for the carne asada fries but the tacos are delicious as well. The owners are always so nice.

I came and ordered for a group of kids and my employees and they all love their food and said they definitely want to have these tacos again! Nacho is the bomb and they are just a really cool taco truck and you should definitely stop and try them out because you won't be dissatisfied and we will definitely be back!

Yummy taco truck, great service, good prices. We had quesabirria tacos which includes 3 tacos, broth for dipping, and a can of pop. Freshly made, and very tasty. Location is a little bit hidden as they are on a used car lot which has a lot of flags and signage, and it is right by the lane closures. There is covered seating in the shade outside.

Service was great - helpful as it was our first time visiting and generous! Also they took credit card and Apple/google pay! Food - fire. Which is the most important piece of course. We wanted to try it all so we did quesibirria, steak quesadilla and carne asada quesadilla (which surprised us with pineapples in it! Super flavorful)! All were super tasty and we each actually chose different 1s of the 3 as our favorites. There is parking in the lot, as well as tables under a shade for if you want to eat there at the truck. We opted for to go (hence the plated hodgepodge of shareable entrees). We will be coming back for some to go Mexican food soon :) read more

The people were really very nice but I'm unsure how a burrito that is apparently 11 dollars and a Mexican coke equals 20 bucks. The food was some of the blandest Mexican food I've ever had my burrito inside was cold and not because of the pico/guac the rice seemed cold as well. The carne was more fat than meat. It's a decent portion but definitely not worth the price if you ask me I won't be back. read more

Their menu is updated and prices have changed. I got carne asada fries which were 11.99 had no cheese. Tacos de lengua (3.75)which lacked salt and the meat was cut up in big chunks my 4 year old choked on the meat. The tacos de tripa (3.25) also lacked flavor and was really crispy. The tacos de pastor (2.99)was ok didn't contain pineapple like they said it would and I got 6 tacos total and received no lime with my food. My order was to go. It took them a while to get my order ready they were busy and the number on Yelp doesn't work I wish I got thier new number I'll update next time if I go again kinda disappointed but better than other tacos I've had. read more

What a great Mexican food truck. We had the Quesabirria, Carne Asada Fries, and the Churros. The food was served hot and tasted very fresh. The meat in the quesabirria and the carne asada fries was shredded beef and was perfectly spiced. The carne asada fries were also topped with a great mix of cheese, salsa, sour cream, and freshly made guacamole. Everything tasted wonderful. We then topped off our lunch with an order of churros. They were both great, but the strawberry churro was the best! read more

They are easy to miss, situated right across from Fongs Drive thru on 2nd street and Broadway. I have stopped by twice now and they have friendly service, a wide variety of meats to choose from, including cow tongue, which is hard to find in this area. They also have the best carne asada fries that I've had since coming to Arizona and they have desserts. I also appreciate that they have meals that come with a soda and they are not overpriced, like most places nowadays. read more

I ordered the veggie tacos with roasted sweet potatoes (skin on, which was absolutely the right call), pepitas, feta, and all the right toppings. Whoever prepped those sweet potatoes deserves a raise because they were cut into the perfect sized pieces. Every bite had a little sweetness, a little crunch, a little saltiness... it just worked. My dining partner ordered the barbacoa tacos, and I didn't even have to ask if they were good. The involuntary "Mmm..." after the first bite answered that question. Four tacos disappeared in record time, followed by, "I could've eaten two more." That's about as glowing of a review as you're going to get. Now let's talk about these tortillas. Handmade. Corn. Tortillas. Are you kidding me? They're the kind of tortillas that had me question every tortilla I've ever eaten. Soft, fresh, and somehow they manage to steal the spotlight even with everything else on the plate being so good. The chips and guacamole were excellent, too. The chips have to be made in-house and they disappeared at an alarming rate. The salsa that came with them had this smoky, fire-roasted, chipotle flavor that kept me reaching for another chip... and then another... and then suddenly I realized I'd eaten way more chips than I intended. The bottled table salsas deserve their own paragraph because they completely confused me... in the best way. They bring three to the table... a green, a red, and a darker red. I kept tasting them individually thinking, "Okay, these are alright." Then I started mixing them. Game over. On their own, each one was solid. Mixed together? That was the magic. I don't know if that's what they intended or if I accidentally stumbled onto the perfect combination, but from that point on, every taco got the salsa trio treatment. I'm very picky when it comes to my street tacos not many out there can achieve the level of authenticity that Tacos Rodriguez does. Their al pastor is the best I've had in the US and the fact that they add pineapple is just the cherry on top of something thats already amazing on its own. Their carne asada is always cooked to perfection and seasoned well that it pairs very well with their spicy red salsa but dont fly to close to the salsa sun or you will get burned. The radishes are always crisp and fresh they work so well as a palette cleanser leaving your taste buds ready for the next delicious bite. Dont even get me started on their quesabirria, thats a whole experience of itself you just have to try it yourself. As for the service, its always on point, quick, and efficient if you actually talk to the workers they're so full of character and stories that you just cant wait for the next time your paycheck hits to visit this wonderful establishment. read more

I recently had the pleasure of visiting my friend Danny's favorite taco shop and it was an amazing experience. The quesabirria tacos were delicious--the meat was incredibly flavorful and the melted cheese that seeped out the side was the perfect crunchy element, and paired with the consome is mind blowing. The tacos al pastor were also fantastic and had just the right amount of spice and fruitiness. They do offer an option for extra meat, but just like my friend Danny, there's no need for extra as there is already more than enough to satisfy. The atmosphere was great and the staff was very friendly. Overall, it was a great experience and I definitely recommend this taco shop if you're looking for delicious tacos.
