Spent a month in the area and I bounced between here and a Frys. The store was always super clean and well stocked. Always had carts cleared from the lot and available at the front door. When I asked where an item was two different visits, both employees escorted me straight to what I needed. Cashiers were friendly and lines werent too long. The strawberries at Albertsons sells lately are not even worth eating. It is so disgusting I'm surprised they even sell them at the store. Yes the apples shine so nice that the glare on the apples are hard on your eyes with all those chemicals that are hard on you. Time to rant. My son had a bag full of change so we went to coin star at our neighborhood Albertsons and bought some groceries at THEIR store and used THEIR coin star machine which took 13% of My son's money plus a .60$ fee and it came out to $5.99. And the CS shrew wouldn't even give him the penny! They underestimate just how petty I am as I will be boycotting Safeway and Albertsons for the foreseeable future.... We probably spend at least $100 a week on groceries which will be spent at Frys from now on even though it's further and busier. All over a penny! So angry. read more

Omg!!! I had such a stressful morning. I had placed a pre order of 50 fried chicken the day before at Safeway (it was closest) and somehow the order got messed up and was scheduled for the day after. I had 30 min or so before the office would go to lunch so I called Albertsons and spoke to Johnathan in the deli. He said he could fry up 50 pieces, give him 30 min. I said perfect. I drove over there, paid and they were ready. The office was happy and the stress melted off. Thank you so much Johnathan, you are a life saver. read more

Being so close to this location is amazing.. in for 5 minutes, out in 5 minutes! Everyone here is very helpful and is willing to assist. Generally well stocked. Clean location. Not busy when I shop there. The produce manager should be at Sprouts. He just cares a bit more about what they're selling than the company would even care to know. This man wants to support the local farmer. Can you see Albertsons going that route anytime soon. So anyway, kudos to him for caring more about good, healthy options. The meat department guy wasn't nearly as helpful when I was picking up brisket. I asked for a smaller one and he said that what he had was in display case. So I pick up the smallest (least expensive) one and get it to be sliced thin so I can dehydrate it for treats. Another time he tries to encourage me to purchase his low price chicken one evening, probably so he wouldn't have to pull it off the shelf the next day and run clearance price tags for all of them. And darn him, he even hinted that someone else frequently picks it up for their dogs. Haha! No thanks, not today. I figure I can come back tomorrow anyway. Majority of staff is polite and helpful, from providing helpful grindance to assistance finding products. 'Overall the store has just about everything. I was given a secret shopper assignment for this store. Since this store is around the corner. I thought why not. I went in and bought a sub they had no mayonnaise packets which I understood, however I wanted to know why,(when I go to Fry's, Sprouts or Safeway,I don't encounter this type of wretchedness),at the aforementioned stores,the girl at the customer service desk acted as she was being bothered,I clearly stated to her I had spoken to the deli and was advised of this. Before I could stop her she ran to the deli which if she understood true customer service and had soft skills, which obviously she lacks or maybe she functions by the color of your skin. She would have been able to comprehend what I said. She than proceeds to run to the deli to get the black girl whom I have already spoken to and now I am being subjected to the deli associate who is clearly working while drinking and around food. I know she could have easy via a breathalyzer test blown a 0.15%. Now, it gets even better, she approaches me very confrontational smelling like a brewery!. You really needed to be street at your job? This will definitely be a Corporate office call! Everything from the time I walked into the store, all employee interactions up to the deli girl being confrontational was recorded as it happened. I was actually secret shopping in this store for just this purpose, to see how deli and customer service treat customers. They failed miserably. Long lines today as they starting using phone numbers again. You have to use your phone number and Link it up to the Albertsons app to get the sales price. You have to select the discounted item and then add it to your list. It is really difficult to shop like this. The lines are long people are pulling out their phones trying to explain what the price is. Cashiers are having difficult times. This is a deal-breaker for me. As far as grocery stores go, I'm usually a Fry's gal... but where I live now, this Albertson's is across the street and it's kind of my go-to. The prices at Albertson's are higher than Fry's, and it's basically the same company as a Safeway. I will never appreciate the higher prices at Albertson's and Safeway... There's just no reason for there to be that big a discrepancy between establishments, but it is what it is. I'm careful to clip my electronic and manufacturers coupons these days (knowing that prices here are higher). Selection at this location is decent, and all the things I need are usually in stock. I think the only thing I've ever had trouble finding at this location is fresh basil. There's never any fresh basil for some reason. The 4 stars I'm awarding this establishment is owed entirely to the people that work here. Robert and Cameron from the deli counter, for instance, hooked me up with a fresh rotisserie chicken the other day. I was going to pick up one that was under the heaters when Robert let me know if I waited 5 minutes, I could get a fresh chickie. Thanks guys! I've also received great service from everyone at the Meat counter. If I want the skin cut off the salmon I'm buying, not a problem. If I want thin slices of meat to make beef jerky, they've got me. If I need a 4lb chunk of beef and can't find one in the refrigerated area, I can count on the butcher to HOOK. IT UP. The cashiers always seem a bit morose, I think they've been through a lot, and it's probably one of the most tedious and least desired roles in the grocery store. I don't blame any of them for not constantly feigning joy at pushing items down a converter belt and doling out rain checks for elderly people who don't know that rain checks are a thing of the past that hold up the line. They are pleasant enough and just trying to make it through the day without any Karen's getting in their face, I get it. And if any managers happen to read this review and think that it means they need to tell the cashiers to smile more or be more "upbeat", please don't. Just don't. They're fine. If anything, take it as a tip that the cashiers all deserve raises. That cheers people up pretty good ;) Anyway, do ya thang checkout workers.... and thanks for putting up with people all day, every day. Everything is really clean in this store, moreso now that there is a pandemic. I've never had to use the facilities in this grocery store (or any other) and, god willing, I never will... so I can't speak to the cleanliness of their bathrooms or anything. I can say that the aisles are always clean, from floor to shelves and displays. There's typically a member of the staff pushing a broom around, too. When the pandemic started up, the management kicked into action pretty quickly to meet demands and also keep the employees and the community healthy and safe. Thank you for that GM's, Manager(s), and Supervisors. I cannot emphasize enough how thankful I am to all the people who went into work everyday at this location, despite ungrateful masses of disrespectful and greedy people swiping food and supplies off the shelves without regard for the staff or their fellow human beings. Y'all grocery store workers are real heroes. I can never thank the staff enough for what they've done, and continue to do, to keep our community supplied with groceries throughout this hellish year. I am always amazed by how lovely everyone is who works for this company. Not only at this location, but each once I've used. I am a massive fan of the curbside pickup, and have used it religiously throughout the last year. Typically, my order is ready within an hour of ordering, but today I noticed things were running a little slower than usual. I went to the store before my order was ready, because I was in the area doing other pickups, and called to see if there was an ETA by chance. I spoke with Chris Brown. He informed me that the computer system that takes orders was down and my order couldn't be processed, so he had no way of completing my order. He told me that if I came in and did my shopping, he would discount the order. I struggle with an auditory processing disorder, which makes shopping in person very stressful for me, hence why I love the curbside option. I told him this and he offered to come out with a pen and paper to write down my order. I didn't want to unfairly use his time, so I declined the offer but he insisted that he bring something out for me, and he did. I have never been treated in such a kind and caring manor before regarding my sensory processing disorder. This meant the world to me. Thank you Chris! read more

This store hands down has the best customer service than any other grocery store I've been to, including all the major chains, Trader Joe's, Whole Foods whatever. I haven't had a problem with any groceries but every time I need to ask a question one of their employees is always nearby and willing to help. Everyone has always been friendly and you don't get the impression that you're bugging them when you have a question. From the people at the front dealing with carts to the specialty departments to the friendly guy who's always mopping up the aisles. It's a good example of a motivated staff and management. To be honest I wasn't always a fan of Albertsons because I thought their produce or meat wasn't the freshest, but everything ive gotten here has been fresh. I like albertsons with the self check kiosks. I hate the fact that not all of them have them like this one for instance. I am not anti social i just feel i get the job done faster on my own since ive had more than 3 years experience in groceries previously. What i did happen to love though is that once in a blue moon alberstons has an amazing deal and random acts of great customer service like the other day hence the review the service came from a guy that worked in the meat department. I use this store all the time and the assistant manager I think his name is Chris is no people person at all. He's rude and arrogant and has no business working in customer service. I won't go into the details but I sent an EMail to upper management and yes nothing happened. How typical to cover for the jerks they promote. Nobody in management even contacted me to see what the issue was. The rest of the store is great. I come here for the minor sales they have here and there. That's the reason for the extra star. I don't come here for the customer service because there is none. I feel like all the workers there are unhappy with their life or job not sure which one. if there was something worse about than one star they would get it. do not ever order anything in preparation for an event here! I placed an order for three sandwich, platters and two boxes of 50 pieces of chicken five days before my event. I have email confirmation of the order, as well as a confirmation text. The order says that it is going to be ready between 10 and 12 the day of the event. At 10:10 I get a text and an email first that my order has been canceled. Then I got a phone call from someone telling me that they're not going to fulfill my order and that there's nothing that they can really do. My party was three hours later on the Fourth of July and I had 60 people coming to my house. Albertsons was providing the main course. The woman said she was going to call me back right away and 45 minutes later I had not heard from her. I then called and was placed on hold for 10 minutes before I finally got in touch with a Store manager. so basically only said there was nothing he could do place the blame on me and said that they just didn't have the supplies to fulfill my order. He never apologized. He never tried to help. He never offered me anything. I will never shop at Albertson's again. This was complete and utter poor customer service on so many levels! read more

This store has been a favorite of mine for the six years I have lived in the Corona area. The staff always friendly, the store VERY CLEAN and easy to find what you are looking for. I have even written KUDOS for clerks there to their home office!! Lately, I have been disappointed in the new cashiers they have hired. (except sweet lady..hm...GINA?...great hire!) They seem friendly enough, but aren't as willing to "help you" or "work with you" when you have an issue. In all these years I have never had a problem with the clerks honoring a price shown (once they check it), asking for assistance finding something (and getting it) and just plain friendly conversation while checking out. The newer clerks seem to rush you through, make little conversation and bag all the items together even though I separate fridge/others when I unload them. In the last few weeks I haven't even gotten my "points" because the clerks hit enter before you can get your phone number in .... then tell you they have to "re-ring everything" if you want your gas points!! This happened THREE TIMES to me lately and they don't seem to care. I know it is 10cents/gal but when you spend $100 with doubles that adds up! I have never made them re-ring, just leave but it just bothers me! Last night I went through the line, I told the young man I entered the $5.00 off 2 Coors and wanted to be sure it showed. He said I had already entered my phone number so it was too late since he didn't see it come up. The sweet girl bagging asked if he couldn't just give it to me anyhow since they could see I had done it on the app, but he said I already had a $1.00 discount on it and that is what it should be?? What??! The Just4U clearly shows $5.00 off and he is telling me the $1.00 was it?? The $1.00 off was a totally DIFFERENT offer!! Once again, they were busy so I didn't argue. took my groceries and left as always but it does stink! :( Not happy with the new crew and the employees have actually been the main reason I shop here. The staff that stocks is still UNBELIEVABLY great...friendly, helpful and always saying HI! :) The check out clerks could learn something from them..... Love this Albertson's, was always a Safeway shopper so this location will have to do. Store is always clean and well stocked. Bathroom is usually clean as well and has hand soap. Employees are always very friendly and helpful finding items since I am unfamiliar with the layout. Reason for four stars- store always smells badly of fried chicken. Like burnt chicken in old frying oil. I have to always change out of my clothes as soon as I get home after leaving this Albertsons. The deli department should really look into having their fans serviced and cleaned and change the fryer oil more frequently. read more
