For years, I've brought my elderly dog with me, who simply sits quietly in the cart. She does not bark, get up, bother customers, or cause any issues. She basically just lays there. Over the past 3-5 years, as the town has grown rapidly, this store has gone downhill fast. What used to feel like a normal, small town grocery trip now feels chaotic and stressful every single time. The store is always packed, customers are constantly cutting people off, not paying attention to where they're walking, and acting rude or disrespectful. Shopping here has become an awful experience. Today, after years of bringing my elderly dog in without a single issue, I was stopped immediately upon entrance and told to leave. I understand stores have policies they have to follow, but the way it happened felt cold and frustrating, especially after being a loyal customer for so long. This town used to have a more rural, neighborly feel, and this Fry's used to reflect that. Unfortunately, it no longer does.
