The wait is finally over! We have been waiting for this opening ever since they announced. They had a soft opening in October and have been planning to go ever since. Located in between LA Fitness and target, they have found the sweet spot. As we entered there were carts for kids separated, such a nice attraction for the kids. Their quirky labels always get me. Their collection is great whether fresh fruits or vegetables. I love their meat section too, since they have the option of pasture raised and organic ones reasonably priced. What I love is their frozen section, so much to pick from. We shopped quite a bit & also got a free pretzel making kit, isn't that thoughtful.

    Some frozen offerings.

"Trader Joe's, beloved for its eclectic mix of affordable organic products, quirky branding, and friendly atmosphere, is embarking on a significant expansion. According to a leaked document shared on Instagram, the grocery chain plans to open 24 new locations across the United States, adding to its already extensive network of over 530 stores." ― sunset.com This Chandler location is one of the new 24 locations. Very cool! This location is great. Like all Trader Joe's, it's a fun place to get some great items. I love Trader Joe's just like everybody else. I see Trader Joe's like how I see Target: You think you're gonna go in for a few items but you always walk away with half the store. "I'm just here for the Triple Ginger Snaps." Then why are you grabbing jars Speculoos Cookie Butter, packages of frozen kimbap, some bottles of melatonin [I have issues with sleep, okay?], boxes of frozen mac 'n cheese, a stalk of Brussels sprouts, and tubs of clam chowder and lobster bisque like a zombie apocalypse is about to go down!?! And really, do you need another pot of succulents or basil that will just die in this Arizona heat? Yeeeeeees, of course you do~ So grab your cool looking Trader Joe's reusable bags [go green!] and shop here! Their seasonal items and holiday items are always fun to peruse.

YAY! TJ'S has finally landed in Chandler! I have been a Chandler resident for over the past 26 years and have seen the Mesa, Ahwatukee and the Gilbert store open but typically enjoy the Tempe location. When I visited on Oct 13 it had many employees stocking even during the prime hours so not to run out of their products. With "Pumpkin Palloza" happening, I was told that some regular items were temporarily unavailable due to lack of space. No worries, I never leave empty handed because I always find something else I didn't know I needed! LOL It has been five days since this location opened and the store and carts are clean and shiny! While the Tempe store is still my go to, I'll happily drop by this TJ's location again. Welcome to Chandler, Trader Joe's! We have been waiting a long, long time for your arrival!

Well, I give you 1 stars for service. I am from California, so I know very well about Trader Joes. I have a few experiences about the new store in Chandler, AZ. The place was clean and organized. But service wasn't good. Employees were talking to each other not much pay attention to customer. I don't see those behaviors at sprouts. The lady at Cashier, she was talking to the lady next to her. Her name is showing on recipe. Store 0287 till 3 8-28-25 12:33, her name is Sylvia. Please let her know when you are at register. Pay more attention to the customer and welcome us. Then the cashier came to her register, helping put my groceries. Keep talking and talking. I'm very disappointed. What I'm expecting? Is this Arizona style or Arizona version. Lol

This one opened today 10/8/2024! It is on the NE corner of Arizona and Ocotillo next to the LA Fitness/Esporta and across Arizona from Hamilton HS. I'm sure people who live around there are excited and it was packed. They had all the typical things at Arizona prices. This includes all the pumpkin groceries since it is the Fall. All the workers are very friendly and understandingly excited about the opening. Will be very convenient to have this location, especially if you live, work, or go to school around here. The workers did say that a lot of Hamilton HS kids have come through.

The vibes are lively both inside and outside of the restaurant. The inside has a dark and moody feel. We came on a Friday night at 7:30pm and waited ~ 15- 20 minutes for a table for 3 people. We ordered the following appetizers: Cauliflower Tahina $12 and they were delicious. I recommend. The flavor was on point. I would order again. Not so Humble Brussels $13 and they were okay, it needed a thicker balsamic sauce. I would not order again. Dishes: Humble Caesar Salad $14 Added Shrimp for $6 The salad is a good portion. It filled me up. The jalapeño caesar tied in nicely with the romaine, brusssels, parmesan & pecorino cheese and the egg. It would still taste great without the shrimp. Cajun Chicken Alfredo $20 enjoyed the taste and the flavor of the Alfredo sauce. Cremini Sachetti $22 The stuffed pasta, mushrooms & cheese sauce were delicious.

Came here to meet a friend tonight and we both thought the other person decided on this place, but…read moresince we already sat down and it was quiet and calm inside, we decided to stay. The food was pretty good here, however, I was severely annoyed with the waitress who wasn't really trying to service her customers but wanted to argue for most of the experience here so hence the two stars. Read on to see why I gave a lower rating than I normally would. Since this place is called Tap N Tikka, they had a nice selection of draft beers and I was impressed with their menu, which was on a digital board. The waitress tried to sell me on an Indian brewed beer (for example, Taj) and I just wasnt in the mood for one. Ive been to India several times and have had some of their beers in country. I asked for the Roses by the Stairs Czech Pale Ale and she didnt know if they had it. So I then said, if you dont have Roses by the Stairs, I'll take a Schoner Tag, which is a wheat style Hefeweizen. She then brought me the Schoner Tag, which was a very good beer. Next, we told her we weren't too hungry and mainly wanted to snack on some items and this is where she was being quite annoying. I mentioned the chaat on their menu and thought maybe these would be small bites as these are considered roadside snacks in India, but then she had to tell me oh no they are big portions, so I am like ok... I then saw kati rolls on the menu and thought we could get these and she says oh they are like big burritos, so then I said, well we could cut them in half and share it, but she seemed to think oh they are too big. OK, so after discussing the appetizer menu and couldnt seem to land on much, we now move onto entrees. She then suggests we share a dish, which we were both fine with. She initially suggested Reshmi chicken and said it had a creamy sauce, so we agreed. So, when we finally order the Reshmi chicken, I also asked for a garlic naan to soak up the sauce with and then waitress says oh its not too saucy. So, at this point, I am like whatever lady, can we just order here as you're not being helpful?? Then, she says oh popular dishes here are chicken tikka masala, butter chicken and also bhuna chicken. She said bhuna chicken was her favorite and better than the other two and had a sauce to it, so we finally agreed on this. When the chicken arrived, it came with rice and also we ordered the garlic naan too. The chicken was very good and flavorful, but I doubt it was bhuna chicken as it was a lot more saucy than how bhuna chicken is normally cooked. Bhuna chicken is normally more dry, so I dont know what this waitress is talking about. Garlic naan was so-so and I have had much better elsewhere and for $4.95 a piece, not worth it. I didnt eat much as I was headed to another meal, but did have a bite of chicken for taste and had one piece of naan. We had leftovers and she brought two take away containers. I asked for another container and she wanted to argue about this too. At this point, I just wanted to get out of here. I was like, lady, can you stop arguing with me? The food here was good, but the service was severely ruined by a waitress that didnt know what she was talking about and kept arguing. I thoroughly did not enjoy this experience. And on my receipt, the order was rung up as Butter Chicken and not Bhuna Chicken. With so much competition now (and so hard to earn a dollar and with skyrocketing inflation) and with plenty of other good Indian restaurants around, needles to say, Tap N Tikka, you lost my business and I wont be coming back, thanks to your rude and not knowledgeable waitress.

I didn't realize I was missing the 6th medication until we got home and I was giving her meds. This left me with little to no time to get to the pharmacy before it closed. I hurried back and with only 5 minutes to spare, I was able to speak with the pharmacy tech- Jaeden. He's the absolute best and most caring employee this pharmacy has. The female pharmacist on the other hand, Rana, leaves you with a long lasting impression of "I hate my job, and no I won't go out of my way". She was outwardly pissed off that I was there so late even stating "well you should have called earlier if you knew you needed this medication. The safe is locked and it takes 20-30 minutes to open". I had been on a plane to get back to my mom alllllllllll day, literally 9 hours of travel with a 10 month old. Just to get to the airport and head directly to the hospital to pick her up then rush to the pharmacy to pick up medications. I was so aggravated with her nasty attitude. I understand fully the request I was making so close to closing but it wouldn't have been an issue had they just filled the order to begin with OR had it been mentioned that it wasn't covered by insurance when we picked up the first order. I'm only giving this experience 5 stars because Jaeden really helped out and diffused a situation that otherwise would have been confrontational. It's not easy caring for a parent/loved one that's in pain and dying, then to be chastised over trying to pick up medications to help really blows my mind. If you aren't into patient care or you have no empathy, maybe you're in the wrong field.

I simply mentioned I was browsing and just going to grab one so she didn't have to put it out. This was all in the common shopping area too. I really felt like leaving empty handed but then remembered what I came for. Luckily, I found a floral arrangement that caught my eye, grabbed a ballon and headed to check out. Checkout was a breeze.
