I was under the impression that if you've been to one Trader Joe's, you've been to them all. I stand corrected. I popped in today to pick up some flowers for my sister's birthday dinner later. I wasn't exactly in the area but I was a few miles away at the gym so I figured I'd pop into this location since the Trader Joe's I normally go to is packed on the weekends and the parking lot is a nightmare. This Trader Joe's is spacious. There's room for everybody to roam around without bumping into each other for the most part. There's also plenty of parking spots. I like this Trader Joe's. OK, I know I am late to the party, but this was my first time going into a Trader Joe's in 10 years! I always wondered what all of the hype is about and now I know! I'm not sure who my cashier was but she was delightful! I asked about chili oils and she rang a little bell and someone went and brought it back to me! I bought it on the spot! Then I asked about greeting cards again. She rang that bell someone came and took me to the card section! The service here is top-notch. The prices are wonderful and I love that you can find unique and different things here at a reasonable price! Who knew? Apparently, I've been living in the dark ages! read more

I love this TJs! So lucky they finally put one here. Always great staff and always clean. I love their fresh flowers and seasonal treats. It's fun to look at all the different items and try something new every time we go. We consistently buy the yogurt, frozen string beans, Asian frozen foods, canned fish and ice cream treats. The wait is finally over! We have been waiting for this opening ever since they announced. They had a soft opening in October and have been planning to go ever since. Located in between LA Fitness and target, they have found the sweet spot. As we entered there were carts for kids separated, such a nice attraction for the kids. Their quirky labels always get me. Their collection is great whether fresh fruits or vegetables. I love their meat section too, since they have the option of pasture raised and organic ones reasonably priced. What I love is their frozen section, so much to pick from. We shopped quite a bit & also got a free pretzel making kit, isn't that thoughtful. read more

Very cool! This location is great. Like all Trader Joe's, it's a fun place to get some great items. I love Trader Joe's just like everybody else. I see Trader Joe's like how I see Target: You think you're gonna go in for a few items but you always walk away with half the store. "I'm just here for the Triple Ginger Snaps." Then why are you grabbing jars Speculoos Cookie Butter, packages of frozen kimbap, some bottles of melatonin [I have issues with sleep, okay?], boxes of frozen mac 'n cheese, a stalk of Brussels sprouts, and tubs of clam chowder and lobster bisque like a zombie apocalypse is about to go down!?! And really, do you need another pot of succulents or basil that will just die in this Arizona heat? Yeeeeeees, of course you do~ So grab your cool looking Trader Joe's reusable bags [go green!] and shop here! Their seasonal items and holiday items are always fun to peruse. read more

Well, I give you 1 stars for service. I am from California, so I know very well about Trader Joes. I have a few experiences about the new store in Chandler, AZ. The place was clean and organized. But service wasn't good. Employees were talking to each other not much pay attention to customer. I don't see those behaviors at sprouts. The lady at Cashier, she was talking to the lady next to her. Her name is showing on recipe. Store 0287 till 3 8-28-25 12:33, her name is Sylvia. Please let her know when you are at register. Pay more attention to the customer and welcome us. Then the cashier came to her register, helping put my groceries. Keep talking and talking. I'm very disappointed. What I'm expecting? Is this Arizona style or Arizona version. Lol read more

YAY! TJ'S has finally landed in Chandler! I have been a Chandler resident for over the past 26 years and have seen the Mesa, Ahwatukee and the Gilbert store open but typically enjoy the Tempe location. When I visited on Oct 13 it had many employees stocking even during the prime hours so not to run out of their products. With "Pumpkin Palloza" happening, I was told that some regular items were temporarily unavailable due to lack of space. No worries, I never leave empty handed because I always find something else I didn't know I needed! LOL It has been five days since this location opened and the store and carts are clean and shiny! While the Tempe store is still my go to, I'll happily drop by this TJ's location again. Welcome to Chandler, Trader Joe's! We have been waiting a long, long time for your arrival! read more

Quite the busy location! We arrived mid day to a very busy store. We only had a few items to pick up as well as some beautiful flowers. We were able to find everything we were looking for and prices were pretty fair for all. The lines weren't too long and service was fast and friendly. The store itself was very clean and organized as well. Great stop. read more

This one opened today 10/8/2024! It is on the NE corner of Arizona and Ocotillo next to the LA Fitness/Esporta and across Arizona from Hamilton HS. I'm sure people who live around there are excited and it was packed. They had all the typical things at Arizona prices. This includes all the pumpkin groceries since it is the Fall. All the workers are very friendly and understandingly excited about the opening. Will be very convenient to have this location, especially if you live, work, or go to school around here. The workers did say that a lot of Hamilton HS kids have come through. read more

Finally, a new location close to other places where I shop!!! Gym, nails, and Target literally all next door to one another!!! The perfect spot to work out, eat healthy, have nails done and shop. M.Renee, an employee here was really nice and advised me to apply for a second holiday job here since she thought I'd be a great fit after chatting about this new opening! Not a bad Holiday gig Awesome human!!! Upon entry, the first thing that I noticed were that the flowers are still blooming, even as we approach winter months. This is a great place to grab flowers and a bottle of wine for your love ones!!! I stopped for bagels and my favorite Kale salad (in a bag kit). Addicted!!! There's plenty of parking. I would've given it 5stars but, they didn't have enough cashiers for this to be opening Month. read more

For 30 years, I have never been disappointed in any trip to a Trader Joe's, and the streak continues! The best part ... I finally have one close by. The staff at the "new" AZ Ave south Chandler location did not disappoint. The usual happy sunny people, helpful, and reliable. Everything you could wish for in service. I only hope that I make them feel as appreciated as they are when I visit. read more

This is what we've been waiting for! Chandler needed its own Trader Joe's! It's a little smaller than some of the other stores on the area but has all of our favorites - especially the beautiful flowers. Since it's new the place was very clean and fresh, the staff was very friendly and even though it was a little crowded it was still pleasant. read more

We are so happy to have this Trader Joe's in the Chandler area! Staff was very accommodating and friendly. I thought the store was slightly smaller than I thought it would be for the 3-4 surrounding communities population. I didn't find a few other things that I like that get from the Gilbert and other stores, but that may just be what's in stock and not right now because of the holidays. Love it love it love it. We are happy to have them here.!! read more

Love love love. The staff are welcoming and smile before you even go inside. They set up the flower display nice and usually there's one person going outside to make sure stuff looks nice. If you need help they're always there with a smile and some small convo. The food is pretty organized people must go through the desert because it's always low on stock. The good stuff goes quick so by 6pm their low on some of the faves. Like this location a lot just wish it was bigger. read more
