One of the best Trader Shmoes I've been into. It feels spacious and less cramped than many of their other locations. Store is well laid out, items are well marked (pricing) and the variety extensive. Staff are always courteous. Joe's carries some unique items which we purchase to take home. Joe's is a niche market kind of place. read more

This parking lot is insanity, and would deter me returning as it's a zoo to try to find a parking spot. I managed to find a spot, but not without weaving as others were trying to exit. Speaking of exit, it's also not easy to turn out as McClintock is busy. Now I see why my bestie asked me to take her, and why she said she hates going to Trader Joe's. I'll skip this one and drive to the Gilbert Road one in the future. Great selections as always and I loved the sample of truffle cheddar. I bought the last three blocks and am excited to have them at home. Store is well stocked even for being a busy location. It's also cleaned and maintained for being a store open for some time. If you can rough the parking and the crowds, you'll find some gems and deals here. read more

I can't say enough good thinks about this location specifically. I've been coming here for years, but on one emotionally charged morning in July 2025 I was picking up peanut butter banana dog bones... knowing this would be the last box before my dog was going over the rainbow bridge in a few days. When asked how my day was at check out, I broke out in one of those cries where you're caught off guard and lose your breath a bit. One cashier stepped away quickly and brought me a bouquet of flowers as a treat,.. it was so kind and touched my heart. I was too in my own thoughts at the time to catch her name, but a week or so later I went back and explained the situation to a manager and hope the thank you card found the right person! I've been going to this location for years and years, and of course it's always great! read more

Trader Joe's is always consistent. No matter which location I go to, I'm always greeted by the friendly employees, and they are always happy to assist if I need help finding something. This Tempe location is usually fully stocked on goods. I like how all locations have an end cap or wall of their new items. It's easy to find what you're looking for, but sometimes they will be located in some random spots throughout the store. Occasionally they give out samples for you to try before you buy. There is plenty of parking outside and it's not a zoo trying to get in and out of the lot. This store is always clean ans organized, too. You can bring in your own reusable bags or use their recyclable brown bags. I'll be shopping here regularly! Thanks, Trader Joe's! read more

I rarely shop at TJs but saw a few items advertised on IG that looked good so decided to go this past weekend. I went in with 4 items in mind but was only able to find 3/4 on the list and walked out with some additional stuff. Never shop hungry! You'll end up buying more than you planned for. Everyone here is so friendly. I asked someone for help with two items. He went to check the back and even looked up when more would be delivered. I came back the very next day just to get the last thing on the list. It was in stock just like he said it would be. I like that they have some unique items here. No one ever talks enough about TJ flowers. Love love love their floral section. They get fresh flowers daily, they have an amazing variety, they last for a week or longer and their prices are amazing. Some unique arrangements would cost over $40 some places and all their bouquets are usually under $15ea. The staff is amazing super helpful and friendly. I love every thing about TJs but today I really want to highlight the flowers. I but them weekly or bi-weekly and only here. Fyi carnations last about 2 weeks same with the lilies. The Peonies played about a week and a half fully opened within 3 days. My bff also loves their tulips but I do not have luck with those lasting for me. read more

It's November 1st, which means Mariah Carey is fully thawed, and I am back at Trader Joe's preparing for the cozy season. The item I wait for every year? The Breaded Turkey-less Stuffed Roast. Totally vegan, wonderfully savory, and it comes with its own vegan gravy. Honestly, it tastes like a warm hug and I'm not afraid to say I hoard this once it hits the cooler. But even outside holiday hype, TJ's just gets it right: Flowers that make your kitchen cute, veggies that stays crisp, and cheap wine that says, "We're doing our best." Holiday season, I am ready. Cue the jingles. read more

Trader Joe's always has a nice selection of produce, snacks, frozen foods, etc. There's a good chance any given Trader Joe's is busy, but thankfully this one has a large parking lot. So you might not get a spot right at the entrance, but there is always a spot a few rows down. I love that this location keeps a healthy stock of all their products. The Trader Joe's on McClintock Drive holds a special place in my heart. Since opening in 1993, it became not just one of my first visits to a TJ's in Arizona, but also my most visited location. This store was a staple for my family, and we absolutely loved coming here together. Some of my fondest memories are of bringing my parents and the whole family--it felt like we were kids in a candy store, discovering new and exciting items every visit. One year, the experience was made even more unforgettable when the managers and employees, noticing our enthusiasm and love for the store, approached us and gifted us 10 Trader Joe's T-shirts. That moment perfectly captured the warm, personal touch this location has always had. Though it may not be the biggest Trader Joe's, this store will always hold a special place in my heart. Its history, friendly atmosphere, and the cherished memories it helped create make it a true gem. For me, it's not just a store--it's a part of our family's story. Saluti read more

I love Trader Joe's! The store is always clean and the staff is always helpful! A typical Trader Joe's experience. Good selection, plentiful and friendly workers and a funky vibe.

Stopped in again to pick up items for a dinner party. This location always looks packed before entry but once you're inside the lines go by really fast! Floral arrangements are gorgeous!!! I love walking inside as the floral arrangements, are always a great part of the welcoming committee. Might I add that there, is no excuse why your loved ones shouldn't get flowers at least once month because, they have the most beautiful arrangements inside starting at $6.00 and up! I'm obsessed with these arrangements and they tend to last for weeks!!! I come here often because they are always fully stocked on my Kale Salad kit and because it's easy for me to find all of the products that I'm looking for. read more

"If you go to Trader Joe's with a list, you want to see yourself fail. You gotta let the spirit of Joe guide you through the store." - Twitter user @/tee_pottz (bestie tee) What is the most dangerous thing you can do at Trader Joe's? Shopping with no plans, no guides, just vibes. Being the equivalent to Target in the grocery shopping game, Trader Joe's is an untamed and unregulated domain of the food world. They have way too many cool items that actually taste good. Growing up during a time when frozen foods were either a burrito or a TV dinner, TJ's has changed the game of convenience. During the thick of the pandemic, TJ's has more than once helped scratch a craving itch for certain cuisines that I did not want to make from scratch. Got a Super Bowl party coming out? No worries, TJ's has plenty of items for you to peruse. Need to make a charcuterie board with some interesting standouts? Head to their cheese aisle and grab some figgy cheddar and blueberry goat cheese. No matter what, we always somehow walking out of Trader Joe's with a small mountain of items to stockpile into the freezer and pantry. They also have the best staff. If TJ's is the Target of the grocery world, the TJ's staff is the Dutch Bros of the customer service industry. One of them even gave J-Wow a bouquet of flowers for a work-related celebration after a two-minute conversation with her at the cashier. It completely made her evening. I will always shop at Trader Joe's. read more

I enjoy Trader Joe's. It's smaller than a regular grocer, but if you're not looking for anything too far fetched, you should be able to find it here. I love Trader Joe's! & this location is no exception. It one of their newer spots and I was very excited when it was added to the shopping plaza in Tempe. As with all their locations, they offer typically the same things and are well stocked and staffed. They have a great flower selection, which seems to be larger than some of their other locations. TJ's is my favorite spot to get flowers, so I love all the affordable options to build our own bouquet or purchase a very affordable pre-made one. They also have these signs that suggest focus florals vs. fillers which I think is a great touch. The one thing they do not sell is hard liquor (or at least at the time), which I am assuming is because of their proximity to campus. They do have a beer and wine selection though. Back to proximity of campus, read more

I have two Trader Joe's that I visit. This is one of them. I love shopping at Trader Joe's. The customer service is always great here. You really can't go wrong with planning a dinner night on the fly with Trader Joe's. Even though I have my usual go-to's that I pick up, I still feel my friends always find way cooler stuff at Trader Joe's. I really do strive hard to be a better Trader Joe's shopper. I love their seasonal items. They like to roll out the carpet for the holidays. If you like pumpkin everything products in the Fall, this is the place to go. Trader Joe's has been around over fifty years and opened their first store in Pasadena. I love their tiki theme and how environment friendly their products are. I follow a couple of Instagram accounts that give you ideas on what to shop for. I even have a cookbook with meal ideas that use only Trader Joe's products as the ingredients. You can make a pretty good charcuterie board using a variety of their affordable cheeses. Flowers and wine are good pick-ups too. Even though it is no longer $2, "Two Buck Chuck" is still a solid affordable wine. Grab a Fearless Flyer on you way in for new items and ideas on what to shop for. read more

This. Is. The. Best. Trader. Joes. Location. Why do I feel like everyone who works here is the most beautiful and kind person I've ever met?!!! They're asking if I need help, helping me find what I'm looking for, making jokes and genuinely seem happy to be at their jobs. This obviously makes me want to go back over and over again. We live in Tempe (a college town) so there's a lot of people shopping here. The parking lot is usually really busy so I'd plan to have to park sort of far and walk a bit. I can confidently say that I love Trader Joe's. Each location is a bit different, so this review is for this specific location. I frequent this store several times a month. There are wonderful bargains to be found in every aisle. Pay attention in the cheese area. Amazing cheeses at the best prices. Triple cream brie? Yes! Crackers to go with it? Yes! Table water crackers and the Social Snackers are two of my favorites. You might as well grab a bottle of wine while you're there. So many options under $10. They have plenty above that price point, too. Cookie butter ice cream is something I have recommended to many people. You have to try it at least once in your life. It's the perfect size to share, or keep to yourself! Oh, and the greeting cards. Inexpensive, cute, fun, and updated often. Pick up some Birthday or seasonal cards to keep on hand for when you need them. They have a wonderful selection. Yesterday we bought a card for an emotional occasion. As we were checking out, our cashier Lisa was so friendly, kind, and cheerful. She noticed that we were a bit teary-eyed, and as I was paying with my card she handed Heather a beautiful bouquet of flowers because she noticed her sadness. This brought a smile to our hearts. We were very appreciative and went home to put them in a vase. Every time we look at them, one of us says how sweet and thoughtful Lisa was. Thank you!!! The fantastic employees are another reason to visit this store. read more

Visited this location because we were in the area and were happy with our experience. There were unique holiday items available before we even entered the store. The store itself was clean, spacious, and well stocked. The cashier that helped us was friendly and efficient. We browsed freely, secured what we wanted and were able to pay and go on our way easily. The parking is a different store, but that's because of the popularity of the store and some of the surrounding venues. Can't hold them accountable for that. Two thumbs up and five solid stars. read more

Somehow in 2021 I wondered into a Trader Joe's curious how this little store has such a big hype from most my friends. As soon as I walked in, I noticed its not that big of a store, but don't let it's size fool you. Now it's been a year since I 1st walked into a TJ and I haven't had a bad experience yet. The very 1st thing I noticed was everything is Trader Joe brand, everything, like I don't need to look at brand a and brand b to see how they compare, everything is TJ's I love the fresh flowers they have for sale, flowers in the house make me happy. Some of my favorite items are the Tzatziki Creamy Garlic Cucumber dip that I pair with chicken, the Chicken Burrito Bowl makes for a tasty word day lunch when you don't feel like prepping. Honestly, I haven't found anything I didn't like. From the deli to the frozen foods to the breads, snacks and candy. Trader Joes can take my money. Best grocery store Baggers EVER!! Bring your own bags, any shape or size and it's like they have a PHD in bagging. I come with 2 and when I get home I feel like I have 4 after unpacking. No sign of it ripping or shifting around! Best value when looking for quality foods and the frozen aisle always seems to be the busiest for everyone as we are all looking for something simple or new but a better healthy alternative. Produce is seasonal for all stores so today it was a miss as I didn't find anything that really stood out for the value. I needed some stuff to last a few days and some of it was on its last leg. Staff is always willing to help and available on the floor and the service desk folks were helpful in me returning and item and getting the right one with ease. read more

What do you say about taking the right initiative in giving the message to your customers. That you CARE about them. All the everything you need! I've been coming to this location for 8yrs and I love that you can be in and out within a few minutes and there are always copious amounts of nice employees ready to help. My favorite foods list is too long to list. The hard part is that you'll fall in love with an item and they stop selling it, like their Thai peanut dressing and this vegan bbq wrap . As of 2012, Trader Joe's has sold more than 600 million bottles of its popular two-buck [Now $3] Chuck wine. That's a lot of wine! And as we all know, wine: It's just "win" with an "e." I love Trader Joe's just like everybody else. I see Trader Joe's like how I see Target: You think you're gonna go in for a few items but you always walk away with half the store. "I'm just here for the Triple Ginger Snaps." Then why are you grabbing jars and jars of Speculoos Cookie Butter, packages of Chicken Pot Pie Raviolis, a thing of blueberry goat cheese, some bottles of melatonin [I have issues with sleep, okay?], boxes of frozen mac 'n cheese, a stalk of Brussels sprouts, and tubs of spinach & kale Greek yogurt dip like a zombie apocalypse is about to go down!?! And really, do you need another pot of succulents or basil that will just die in this Arizona heat? Yas, yaaaaaaas, of course you do~ It can get hella crowded on the weekends and before any holiday or major sporting event [cheap booze, heygirlhey!] and parking is a nightmare. Some of the customers here are rude too. They block the lanes, are generally unpleasant, and shouldn't be a part of society but what can you do? At least the staff is always nice! I've been to several Trader Joe's stores and so far, this TJ's located in Tempe is my favorite one. It's in a nice neighborhood and the strip mall it's located in looks new and well-kept. Both the employees and clientele (I'm assuming the local residents) were really friendly. In fact, there was another Trader Joe's store a little closer to where I was staying during my visit to Arizona but I drove a little further based on all of the positive customer service reviews that this Tempe location had. Yup, great customer service is that important to me. The employees definitely lived up to the reviews. I was greeted by several different employees and the cashier that helped me chatted with me for a little while whiled she rang up my items. The employees working the floor also asked me if I needed help. Besides the great customer service, I love shopping at Trader Joe's for the snacks and fresh produce. They sell a lot of their own Trader Joe's brand products and have a few other brands as well and most of the food is reasonably priced. Although TJ's is a health food store, my favorites are the snacks that are high in sugar and salt like the Cookie Butter and the Kona Coffee Creamy Half-Dipped Shortbread Cookies. I have a ton of other favorites but I realize I'm writing a review and not my grocery list! The only thing I didn't care for at this location was the crowds. The parking lot was pretty full. I didn't have a hard time finding a stall but by the time I left, there were a couple of people waiting for me to pull out of my stall. The store itself was pretty crowded as well but it's still a great location. It's nice and clean, they have a pretty good fresh floral selection, a wide variety of food and excellent customer service. read more
