I've been hitting up this store almost every week for the past year and I must say, it's one of my favorite places to be. If you haven't been here before, you could easily spend almost an entire day looking through all the hidden gems they have. Since I come here basically once every week, there are weeks where they aren't many new items I find, but then there are also weeks where I feel like I've hit the jackpot. I've gotten good quality protein bars for cheap, expensive greek yogurt for cheap, and amazing novelty things you'd only find at sprouts or Whole Foods (for half the price). Also, soda galore. Over the past year, they've had every soda you can think of for super cheap. This store is the only way I've been able to try certain energy drinks I've been eyeing in the regular stores. Every employee is friendly and they're always willing to help. Also super clean in there. All the products are nearly placed on shelves and it's always a treat to see. My only gripe is I wish they had self check-outs (or just more registers open at certain times) and more than just two locations. We've been to this store several times now and every time it's a hit! The items are hit or miss, meaning they might not be there next week, but the price is always right! It's a veteran owned business, and if you are a veteran or first responder and come on a Thursday you'll get 10% off your bill. Seniors (65 & up) get a discount as well, and if you spend over $50 you can spin a wheel to get anywhere from $1-$25 off your next trip. This last time I got $1 off and a prize (a box of wacky Mac) but if you sign up for their email alerts you'll get a $5 coupon to use immediately. If they have steaks, get them immediately because they'll be gone in a heartbeat. They're usually frozen which is fine because I've found that they are more tender that way when you grill them. Lots of great stuff I have been shopping here since their old location. Over 15 years of positive shopping experiences. Some of the food is past the sell by date but they guarantee everything. The staff there is super friendly and helpful. I personally recommend starting your shopping trip here then going to your regular grocery stores. This is one of my new favorite spots to grab random things, especially if you like energy drinks or soda! I drink Celcius and they have had amazing deals, a case of 12 for around $10. It's a steal! There are a few favorites that I have that I especially look for when I go on my shopping trips. They have everything from bigger name brands to smaller brands in stock. They also have bulk items if that's something that people are looking for or need for their business. When you go in, expect a warehouse type feel with a very large warehouse footprint. There original location was founded 1998 and was first called Harvest Market. This location is the largest of the two they have expanded too that's only featured in Arizona. When we first arrived, they had many advertised special. American Discount Foods deals in shelf products; From near or past expiration or suggested "sell by" dates, dented cans, out-of-season items or overstocked items. To salvage pallets that may also have imperfect produce, baked goods and meat. So, always a variety of different types of bargains, constantly rotating brands & affordable stock. But, keep in mind- if you find that amazing deal get it in bulk 'cause it's a situation that if you think you might want to come back later to buy it, it's not guaranteed simply because they're continuously changes their merchandise based on availability and the criteria above. We found a lot of reasonable inventory and some unexpected fun finds. The store is well stocked with EVERYTHING most regular grocery carry. Yet, the saving can be it up to 70% more! Extremely large space with plenty of room to explore. Picked up some great snacks for lunches, some soft drinks, unusual ranges of cheeses & savory sausage links too! The cashiers were really friendly and engaging.They offer a customer service program when providing your name and phone number which keeps track of your purchases and points. This place is located on NE side of Southern and Longmore. Lots of parking. I posted a photo with the hours. They do have cooking supplies as well as charcoal. Also the yogurt was pretty cheap. The frozen meats, however, not sure if they are really good deals. You would have to look and compare to weekly sales at regular places. I've been shopping with them for a long time, back to when they had a well-hidden store in an industrial area by the old Rosarita bean factory over on Extension. They've been in this spot on Southern for likely 20 years or so, but I've never felt compelled to write until now. Some time in the past year or so, the store underwent a transformation that deserves notice. The store looks GREAT! There's always lots of products to try, but my trip there today was like hitting the jackpot. It is SO clean, SO well-organized! I got many brand names such as Tate's Cookies, Edward's Pies, Presidential Brie cheese, Ocean Spray juice. Frankenberry cereal, and more. Some folks balk at buying close-outs that are close to due date but I have never had a problem and get so thrilled when I find stuff I like generally 50 to 90% off. Their produce department in the past has been sketchy--bruised and battered stuff-- but what was on offer today looked like what you'd find at Fry's. One note-- if you buy something and really like it, go back ASAPbecause when they-re out, they're out. Oh, and when you spend $50 or more on a single trip you get to "Spin the Wheel" for prizes. This place is SO COOL and as a mom of four, discount anything is such a win. You can get whole bulk size boxes of name brand items (not just food) for up to 90% off!!! The store is huge and easy to maneuver and the employees are friendly. My favorite thing about this place is that you have the options to buy items in singles or boxes (like protein bars, snack chips, etc.) to cases of things like soda pop or bread or sauces. I have really mixed feelings about this store. It felt like a thrift store experience and it was freezing inside! They have a lot of items you wouldn't normally see at your grocery store. I guess they bulk buy items the other stores couldn't sell and so they can pass on the savings to their customers. Lot of items are expired so I had to check the expiration dates on everything which I did not enjoy. I did end up finding an amazing deal in the frozen food section- a gluten free chocolate cake for only $1.49 that would normally sell for about $10 at other grocery stores. It tasted great too. I wished I had bought more to freeze. Also bought scorching hot sour cream and onion Pringle's for $1.29. Unfortunately nothing else really appealed to me and I just got tired of having to check the expiration dates. They do have a sign stating they guarantee all their products even if they're damaged or expired. Apparently you can return dry goods within 45 days and 14 days for refrigerated and frozen purchases. The store was pretty busy especially for a weekday. It may be a good place for big families that don't mind going through items but just didn't appeal me. Worth checking out once though. read more

Prices are really cheap here! Only thing you have be really careful about is the expiration dates on some of the food. Other than that, they have a large variety of everything including a frozen section that's not too cold. You'll find items you won't see at other grocery stores. Still shopping here, I save alot of money by shopping here and it's a really cool way to try things you might never try because it's so cheap. I get quite a bit of meat here when it's on sale. My main go to is the French Fries huge bags for cheap, just can't pass it up. I also love getting cheeses here. I tend to spend a minute looking up if things can be frozen because sometimes it's 5lbs of mascarapone for cheap (you can freeze it :D) so if you're able to buy a bunch of something and conserve it that's always helpful for later too. I've never had a bad experience with an employee at this location Abby is a mainstay and she's friendly and great, if you need a pick me up definitely check out with her if she's there. OH AND THE PRIZE WHEEL...if you spend $50 you get to spin the prize wheel which get's you FABOLOUS PRIZES, I think it's a fun little perk, I've gotten $10 off a couple times over the years. I have been seeing this grocery store advertised on social media. Since I was in the area, I went to check it out. The aisles are organized by type of item. I noticed as I was going up and down aisles, I would see the same item two or three times I different places. Many name brands as well as off brands. Most prices were decent than those found today at your local market. I did overhear someone talking about freezer burn on some of their meats. I avoided those. I did find some name brand trail mix bars and rice cakes which I purchased. Other than that, it would not be my store of choice especially since it is physically far from my home. This is my main grocery store. Prices can't be beat. Veteran operated. 10% Veteran discounts on Thursdays, and 10% senior discounts on Mondays. My mom heard about this store and wanted to check it out so we went to have a look around. We thought it was a brand new store but from the reviews, I guess they've been around. Prices are pretty cheap on many items, if not all. $1.49 for 32oz of chicken broth ($2.99 at Frys) $3.99 for 32oz granulated chicken bouillon ($6.49 Frys) $1.49 for 28oz Hunts diced tomatoes ($2.79 Frys) $1.49 12oz fresh mozzarella log ($5-8 Frys) I ended up grabbing some chicken broth, a can of diced tomatoes, Starbucks ground peppermint mocha coffee ($4.49), a fresh mozzarella log, a 100 pk straws ($0.49), a 12 fl oz bottle of ponzu ($1.99) and a Twix cookie dough candy bar. My mom grabbed some other stuff. Great prices! However, double check the expiration dates. A lot of the items are expired or almost expired. Some have a few months to go still. Everything I grabbed has a 2024 expiration date (some for this month). Canned foods can always be used somewhat past the expiration date but I wouldn't never buy milk, other dairy products, or meats that have expired here. I dont think I would ever buy milk or meats here tbh. The isles were a bit unorganized. I saw the same tomato cans in like 3 or 4 different isles. One isle would have food items, then it would be household cleaning, then pets, then back to food items...which is weird. The produce looked fresh but I didn't get up close to really look. The cashier was really friendly at checkout. You can sign up with your number for more discounts (I believe thats what it was for). We opted out.
