Bashas has my all time favorite donuts in their bakery, it's a filled donut they make and have basicallly in the morning right as they open and sell out fast!! Al though they made us some as an order. Soooo good!!!! They had mom's mince pie, and totally made her Christmas the best one in years and years since no one in Arizona makes or sells mince pie. And she said it was spectacular! And they had my pickle and olive loaf. Again I can't find this anywhere but Bashas. Love this store!!!! A lot read more

Bashas' - I have been looking all over Arizona for this, found it here. So happy!! - Grocery Near Me - Gilbert, Arizona

I shop here a lot due to the convenience of the commute from my house, however today I walked into the freezer section and saw to my surprise that Bashas now carries White Castle products! I opened the door and went to grab two different White Castle products, just to find that both were expired, one of the products had expired in JANUARY of this year. Do better, this is absurd. read more

The store was so great when the Basha family owned it. But they sold it to I don't know who and it has gone down steadily ever since. You now need an app in order to get a coupon and to scan things in store. There's never anyone to check you out, it's all do it yourself. And when the store hours say they close at 10 PM, don't try to show up at 9:45 because they are long gone. I have always hated fries, but it's 1 million times better than what has become Basha's. read more

Tremendous service at this Basha's location! I come here often for their bakery and prepared food selection. The donuts, cakes, and pastries are top tier and always impress. I can get a beautiful 8-10 inch cake with writing on it for a get together or party for around $20, which is a steal of a deal! My favorite is the raspberry indulgence cake which looks and tastes like it is from a gourmet bakery. Staff is very nice and has always been accommodating of all my requests. They also have a good selection of prepared sandwiches, pizza, soups and wings and a Starbucks on the premises. Highly recommended! read more

We LOVE their Brick oven PizzaFor a large family on a tight budget this store has one of the best selections of meats and better produce. Staff is helpful and still my favorite bakery with the best crusty bread and store donuts ! read more

2/28/25 I went in after 9PM tonight. There were very few people shopping. They kept announcing they were closing - at least 5 times. I never make store employees work beyond their closing time. Never. I have worked in retail, and I can relate to why they would do this, but this behavior was totally unacceptable. read more

$1.39 for a doughnut that is just so so? They don't used to be great and the prices were much lower. Not sure how you increase prices and drop the quality and think you're going to sell a lot of donuts. Not sure what happened to their donut quality but I will not shop here for donuts any longer. And a Sunday morning at 9 o'clock when they are still full of donuts obviously many others feel the same way. Sorry bashes but you need to improve quality if you are going to raise prices read more

This is my local bashes that I come to regularly and I entered the store with 4 others and within 2 minutes was told to leave the store for smoking and vaping by the store manager. Meanwhile, none of us had smoked. When we asked for reasoning- he asked us if we were done talking. he was extremely rude. I feel harassed. the manger proceeded to call the police and trespass us for no good cause. I will no longer be shopping here and I feel extremely targeted. The management is awful and the customer service is horrendous. i do not recommend going here if you are expecting to be treated with any amount of respect. read more

No complaints 5/5 location and easy to find 5/5 convenient of deli counter to order lunch or food in general. 5/5 fresh deli food chicken mashed potatoes veggies etc 5/5 salad bar section with 4 choices of soups hot and ready. 5/5 Sandwich section at the deli made to order wow! Nice lots of staff so not a long time to wait for food especially pre lunch time. I'd recommend this location for shopping. 5/5 checkout was easy quite a few cashiers and 4 open for self-checkout. read more

I went there on Saturday afternoon to get about 70 pounds of peaches, but need them in boxes. Chase I believe is his name helped me. He was very nice and great customer service. The store was very clean and stocked with everything I needed. Everyone that worked there was great and friendly. To be honest it's not my usual place to shop. It will be now. read more

Their doughnuts are amazing! And SO big! I highly recommend. The custard filled with chocolate icing was the best doughnut I've ever had

This was actually the first time that I had ever been to this location. I am going to say this is the nicest Basha's I have ever been in. It was sparkling clean for starters. It was right before Christmas Week and everything was so nicely decorated. The produce dept, really got my eye. it was so clean and well organized. The displays were wonderful! Beautiful colors and it smelled nice as well as looking clean. The store itself was huge ,with every thing you could want. Lots of parking in the private lot and a good location just a bit off the freeway. read more

Was there this morning looking for avocados & heirloom tomatoes! Met Liz as I was getting a motorized shopping cart, she saw me & made a beeline over to help me! Ran into here two more times and she helped me by going back to see if there were more Heirlooms available. Just a friendly and enthusiastic human and totally elevated a routine grocery store trip to EPIC! Then checking out I encounter Lisa, oh my, what a ray of happy sunshine! Friendly like we were family! I am just blown away with the employees at this store AND those I often see at the N. Higley & Brown store! Kudos ladies! Because of you both I will shop there more often! Customer service is MOST important!!!!! read more

Aside from under paid Wal-Mart employees, never have I experienced such an awful shopping experience. From the overpriced items, lack of organic produce but even more disappointing the terrible attitudes of the employees. As someone who is new to the area and inexperienced with their systems I hope the employees would be kind enough to help explain how simple things work or where items are. Instead I leave upset every time feeling as though I'm a nuisance. The child care is a neat concept, but I will never again allow my children in after my first and only experience with it. Such a disappointment as this is the closest market to us. read more

I love that this store is so close to home. I rarely have to get rain-checks for sale items (lone complaint would be when they put Planter's Cheese-balls on sale but then didn't receive any at this store, I didn't think to ask for a rain check). I love that they lowered the prices on their soup. The corn chowder is my fave & I purchase it whenever they have it on my visits. Service is always good. read more

If you want to be treated as if your business is annoying to the workers than this is the store for you. I understand never having your sale items but it is not a supply issue to treat people wi to contempt. I attempted to buy a few items at the self check out and an error code pops up. I wait five minutes for someone to unlock the screen and than am informed no cash accepted. No sign saying no cash just the clerk with a snide cards only. No attempt to help or make the situation right despite waiting five minutes while the same clerk flirted with a female customer. Guess I will stick with Fry's and understand why what use to be proud local company is no longer local or proud read more

I've never experienced more uneducated and unwilling to help staff in my life ... for sure will drive miles out of my way next time groceries are needed when I'm in the area! I can imagine the rewards he racks up daily by not giving new clients the opportunityto join read more

It's now been about a week and this store still has not fixed their Apple Pay...no signs posted anywhere saying it is not working nor is anyone that tells seems to be interested in helping. Sorry, I guess I got spoiled going there without my wallet and just using my watch to do Apple Pay. I wonder if the store realizes the missed opportunities with not have Apple Pay fixed? At least Starbucks is in there and they can use my Starbucks card on my Apple watch read more

I went out of my way to shop here for the cereal in this week's ad. Great price, but 80% of the boxes were out of code. Some were dated July 2021 + there were four other out of code dates. This means the stockers had FIVE opportunities to notice this problem. In addition, they did not have the orange juice that is currently advertised and they did not have a single carton of yogurt on the shelf. I realize some supply problems are due to COVID, but trying to sell items that are 7 months out of code is indicative of poor training and supervision. read more

I live in the area since 2007, the remodel was majorly needed but it's like putting lipstick on a pig. I was excited to start shopping there but then I quickly realized the sale items are sometimes almost expiring and the quality of the fresh food items are still not that great. Can you please do something about the flies in the deli area? Ewe! Lucky for Bashas all the homes that have been built up will keep this store alive if nothing else but for convenience. read more

Unfortunately this store has gone downhill since all Basha owned stores were bought out. I love it's location next to me for quick pickups, but 75% of the time they're sold out of nearly everything, and less of the employees that have been there for the 7 years I've lived next to it are no longer there. I've gotten to know them and their friendliness when they recognized me was so nice; I loved my conversation with them, and was told by a few that they were worried about the buyout. Now it's different employees who act like they don't want to be there. The prices have gone up tremendously, so I don't shop there except for when I forget something, or if I need the bakery. I do absolutely love their bakery and hope it doesn't change. We use them for all of our kids school class and birthday party donuts and cupcakes. The bakers are amazing- they're so quick, helpful, and easy to place phone orders from, and will make anything you ask. Not to mention their bakery items are amazing, you can't find half of their specialty breads and treats anywhere else. I understand stocking and supply chain issues, but sometimes the shelves are nearly cleared. There's always an "employees wanted" sign, just like everywhere else, but if costs are going up, they need to pay employees more, and keep the employees that have been loyal to you for 15-20 years, not to mention, give them a raise. It's pretty simple. I'm just sad to see that other than the bakery, it's not the same. read more

Super frustrated at this store. Yesterday I went there at 930 pm, on Black Friday. They were closed, although the signs on the door said they were open until 11. There were several of us gathered outside knocking, so I called them. A guy answered and said they closed at 9 for the holiday... Um what? The holiday was on Thursday! So I asked why there were no signs on the door stating this, since every sign said "open until 11pm daily!" And he said, "oh yeah, the managers took them down at nine when we closed..." So they took down the signs that they were closed, when they closed? Ridiculous. We went to Safeway a few miles away, which was open until Midnight. I would have understood if it was on Thanksgiving, since I support people being at home with their families on holidays, OR there was a sign up saying they closed early. But Black Friday isn't a holiday. read more

I went through self checkout with my mask on as it's the law to wear one in public. Im 42 years old and have a bald head. The cashier asked me to remove my ask because she had to look at my mouth apparently because I was buying alcohol. I said I wasn't going to remove it. She then replied well then I'm not selling u the alcohol. I ended up removing it. I have come here for the last 10 years almost every other day. They all know me. I will never come here again. This Basha's location took over when Albertson's left several years ago. This is my store of choice because it is the closest large grocery store to my home. The store is clean, and there are many, many choices in every department. Fresh baked bread magically appears around 4 p.m. everyday. The bakery makes lots of delicious goodies that many of us swore off this new year. There aren't many prepared items, but hit the freezer section and you can find quite a few healthy choices along side the regular stuff. I did notice they don't carry the low fat/ fat free name brand cheeses (only their brand) and they don't carry a lot of low fat/ fat free lunch meat. There is also a Starbucks inside this location. Their inside bank is Chase. They do have a pharmacy, and it is conveniently located right inside the store to the far right side. read more

The people that work at Basha's are all so friendly and helpful. Liz treated us like family when we had trouble finding something. Smiled the whole time she was directing us to the things we needed. I usually go here to buy myself some drinks and gift card, but the reason I give it a 2 star is because for one reason, one the cashier just straight told me "unwrap the money" even though it was just a twenty that was only half bent, this leave me frustrated, it never happen like this before, so this place does have picky cashiers. read more

BEST DONUTS IN THE VALLEY. I really like this store. The keep it clean and the parking is plentiful.

By far the best Bashes I've ever stepped foot in . If you're looking for fresh produce , a delicious deli and an outstanding bakery ,this location is the way to go . From organic blueberries to plantains this store seems to have it all . Not only do they exceed your average grocery store with their variety , they also keep the store very clean . read more

Constantly disappointed in this store. 9 times out of 10 the scanned price is different from what is listed in the aisle. They are SO condescending when you ask about the discrepancy. Every. Single. Time. Yes, I know how to read - it doesn't say I have to buy 5 ice creams to get the sale price. Ugh, such a headache. Bad quality, bad service & way overpriced. Wish this wasn't my convenient neighborhood store. read more

This store is in a nice area and I love how it's never crowded but I usually regret my visits. I don't love their brand variety, it's difficult to locate some specialty goods, prices are high and the organic fruit and veggie selection is weak. The deli counter is good but the wait is always long. The butcher is often out of meat selections and I was told recently they they can longer grind anything except beef. They always seem short on checkers and there's 1-2 full service lanes open at any given time. This will continue to be my last-resort for grocery shopping. read more
