Tempe, on Mcclintock and Southern! Nice clean and friendly service
Karis L.

Sharing is caring! I shared with peers at the great deals I was able to get here! Reminder: Take your bags guys!

This is a great Aldi! Of course they have some of the best prices for groceries in town! I can pretty much get everything I need for the week/month here when I shop for groceries. Produce is always fresh! Service was friendly. The store was clean and organized. I look forward to coming back to this location.

Hooray for another Aldi opening up! I've shopped at Aldi stores in the Chicago area so was excited to hear that we'd get our own in Tempe. For the grand opening week it looks like they are waiving the quarter deposit for carts so that people can get used to how the store operates. Aldi keeps its prices low by economizing on some more common aspects of other grocery stores here. For future reference, this means: - If you want a cart, bring a quarter to unlock one in the cart corral area next to the entrance. When you lock your cart back up after shopping you'll get the quarter back. - Bring your own bags and be prepared to bag them yourself. If you didn't bring bags, they do sell them at the store. - Not sure if this falls under cost cutting measures but they don't accept any coupons other than the ones that are printed or mailed out by Aldi. I learned that the hard way when I had a coupon for one of the few items that weren't private/Aldi brand and tried to use it. I also came here to redeem a $5 of $30 coupon I got in the mail. When I went here the produce looked very fresh, with a mix of conventionally grown and organic selections for a competitive price. The meat section had your standard pork, beef (choice grade) and some conventional and organically grown chicken. Seafood consisted mainly of salmon and shrimp. I enjoyed browsing here to see some different items you wouldn't typically find at your average store in AZ. In addition to food, they also have a section devoted to home goods, camping supplies, and summer related items such as pool floaties. Since Aldi is a European company it reminds me a little bit like a condensed, European version of Walmart since it offers a wide variety of items in the space that they have for a reasonable price. Check out when I was here consisted of one cashier at the traditional conveyor belt check out area, and 4-6 self service check out kiosks. If you do encounter an issue at the self service kiosk there currently doesn't seem to be a dedicated employee there at all times to provide help should you need it so there might be a wait for someone to mosey over to see what you need. Details (from the website): - Curbside and delivery services offered - Payment options: American Express,Google Pay, Apple Pay,Cash, Contactless Payment, Discover, MasterCard, Samsung Pay, Visa, SNAP EBT - Open every day from 9-9 - Bring a quarter for cart deposit and bring your own grocery bags

Visiting customer from the Northeast. First time I've encountered self-checkout lines at an ALDI store. Nice touch!

My fave store since childhood. Shocked to see it in Arizona. Great prices. German snacks. Great employees. Great location for parking.

Terrible company, terrible produce, and abysmal customer service. I ordered a dozen farm fresh…read moreeggs, a few avocados, and five pounds of kiwis. they were supposed to ship in one day and took a week to arrive. The eggs were obviously spoiled but I had expected the avo and kiwis to be edible. Turns out the produce they sent me was so overly ripe that it basically deteriorated during shipping and leaked everywhere If you want rotten spoiled fruits, vegetables, and eggs then boxed greens is perfect for you. When I reached out for a ref, they refunded me for the items but failed to refund me for the $40 shipping cost. I fail to see how it's my fault that their company sent me spoiled produce and eggs then took a week to deliver the package.

I was so looking forward to a rather large haul I had ordered from Box Greens. It was my very…read morefirst order. The FedEx ground service I paid for was rather steep. The 1st time FedEx attempted delivery they sent an email stating my address was incorrect/inaccurate. I checked the address I placed on my order with Boxed Greens- it was correct. I checked the delivery address for FedEx and the house number where I live was missing. I emailed Boxed Greens explaining the situation. I stated to them that FedEx needs to be held accountable. Obviously, someone left off my house number which is essential in getting anything delivered to my address. I spoke to FedEx explaining the situation. They stated no address change could be made when package is "out for delivery". They said it had to be in transit. Made no sense to me but that's their policy. I received an email on Friday stating that the package had been delivered at 4:11 p.m. I was so excited! I checked the front porch and the back driveway area. Nothing there! Called FedEX again. I was livid. Told customer service rep. I want to take this as high as I could go. He sent me a pic of my house asking me is this where package is to be delivered. I said yes. From that day to this my box has never been located. Did some research on FedEx station my package was to be delivered from. Reviews indicated botched deliveries aplenty. Boxed greens was good about working with me. However, I still have not received a refund. I won't be using their service again. My suggestion to Boxed Greens is get another carrier!!!! FedEx location in my area is horrible. Seemingly good products, trash delivery service!!!!!!!

Graze Craze - South Tempe

Ordered 2 Large boards online on a Monday, by Wednesday my guest list had dropped and I wouldn't…read moreneed large boards and wanted to call and see if they could change to medium boards. Called the number on my receipt for the Tempe office but the Phoenix office answered. Ashley stated that she managed both locations so she would have her girls work on that refund. Refund hit but I noticed it was just for the difference in the board pricing not the tax or tip. Difference was about $13. Decided not to make a fuss and just left it as I was happy I could change it. Received a confirmation email the day before my event stating my boards were to be ready for pick up at 12 on sat. Perfect because our party started at 1! My daughter showed up at 12:12 and they said they weren't expecting her until one! Furious after finding this out I called the Tempe office, again went to Phoenix office, and I explained to Sophie what was happening. She proceeded to tell me that no one was even at the Tempe office,‍ I responded well they better be because my daughter was there to pick up the order. She apologized and gave me Ashley's (same manager) direct number. Called and left a detailed message regarding issue and to please return my phone call. By this time it was 12:30 half an hour before my guest were to arrive. Received Ashley's call at 1:00pm and she apologized and stated the ticket had printed out for 1:00 not 12:00! I told her that's NOT my problem! Then she stated that her girls had told someone waiting for their order (assuming my daughter) had just ok'd the order to be done now at 1:30?! Confused and livid by this point as my guests were arriving, I asked Ashley how we now were at an hour and a half late?! She said she would call her girls and find out if for sure it was my daughter and then I should call my daughter and see if indeed it was our order that was ok'd to be done at 1:30 and she would call me back. I called my daughter and thankfully she was on her way home with the boards. So, to complete this review, they are disorganized, not well managed and seem to "print" out a 12pm order for 1pm pick up. Ashley did call back at 1:05 and I had to interrupt her apology as my guests were arriving with no food to offer them. I have ordered from this company before and had no issues at all. That is why I decided to order again. Im so very disappointed and embarrassed my guests had no food to offer until 1:30pm when my daughter returned from her nightmare. Many of my guests were in awe of the boards and asked where they were from. Sadly I couldn't give them a good recommendation as my experience was nothing short of a nightmare. Since it is Sunday, I'm sure I won't be able to contact and dispute this until Monday but again, disappointed, confused by their confusion and will never use this company again!
