I have never been to this Aldi location, but I stopped in during my lunch hour to see if they had the Disney ears I saw at my local Aldi the day before. They did, and I also found a pair of Mickey shoes that were so cute, I couldn't resist!! The Disney products are an Aldi Find, which means they are only available for a limited time or while supplies last, whichever comes first, I guess. I was shocked that the price tag for the shoes was just $14.99!! The best part is that they are so comfortable!! I definitely hit the jackpot! They also had a different style with a holographic Mickey on the shoe, but I opted for the original Mickey. I dropped a star only because I tried to call this location to see if they had the Disney ears in stock. I didn't want to waste my time or gas if they didn't have them, as I know stock varies by location. However, when I called, the generic recording comes on telling you that because they are short staffed, they don't have anyone to answer the phones which is laaaaaame sauce!! But whatevs, I got what I came for thank God, and even found an extra treasure during my hunt. You can't really beat Aldi prices, but make sure you ha e time to sift through the merch. I lost $2.49x5 plus tax for nothing. The delivery through Ubereats and Aldi on 9/2/2026 . 5 bags of tomatoes were missing. Uber eats refused to refund. The reason? "Upon checking, the delivery matches the order, no refund." I do not recommend Uber+Aldi delievery. It's like step into black shop. read more

I love Aldi in general and have for decades now. I always there for the grand opening of this store and I'm still loving my local store. The shopping experience here is pleasant and the aisles are spacious (which I love). I have only seen the store have empty shelves of some food or Aldi Finds, once and that was this week during my shopping trip. Otherwise, everything is well stocked, available, and fresh. They have lots of items in stock. There are holiday tins. They also have candies. They have a wide selection of fruits. They have peanuts and snacks as well. They have a frozen food section. Atmosphere - Not too busy at the time I visited. I did not visit the restroom. Warehouse store. There was a guy that kept walking around the store and was changing the signs. Service - Saw a few employees, besides the guy who kept walking around, mostly at the front. The service here was quick. Pay at the front registers. Parking - Surface parking lot. No parking meter or parking structures. No covered or shaded parking. Could do with some trees or parking covers in the summer. Unique - Did not see anything unique. This Aldi location is just okay. The store itself is fine, but the checkout situation is always a problem. They have seven self-checkout stations, yet almost every time I go, only two or three are actually open. When the store first opened, they ran all the self-checkouts and it was quick and efficient. But lately, that's no longer the case. Last time I went, only three of the seven were open and there was just one cashier. Today, it was even worse--only two self-checkouts running and the one cashier was nowhere near the register for a while. I ended up standing around longer than necessary, even though I just had a few things. It's frustrating because the store clearly has the setup to handle more customers efficiently, but it doesn't seem like they're using it. If they can get their staffing and checkout flow figured out again, this location would be much better. read more

This is a great Aldi! Of course they have some of the best prices for groceries in town! I can pretty much get everything I need for the week/month here when I shop for groceries. Produce is always fresh! Service was friendly. The store was clean and organized. I look forward to coming back to this location. read more

I was able to get nearly two weeks' worth of groceries for myself... including frozen meals, eggs, fruit, vegetables, snacks, dairy products, and even ice cream for under $80. The store was clean, the staff was friendly, and the prices were hard to beat. If you like good prices, good product and are ok with limited brand selections, if you like weekly product surprises then shop here! Im addicted to their sweets both the baked goods like the cheese or fruit danish or the fudge bites. The chocolates are delicious too. One of my other faves is their cheese section, they have so many options and flavors I've never seen before and the cost is so low! YUM! I usually go to the Laveen location but ventured over to Tempe this time and I'm glad I did! Everything was well-stocked and they had a lot of items I don't usually see at the Laveen location. It was really busy but the staff were still nice, courteous, and helpful. They have self checkout lanes which the Laveen doesn't have either so it was nice to be able to do that and get going. I had an item that was supposed to be 50% off but when I scanned it, it wasn't. I alerted the cashier at a register and they were able to help from the register, which was cool. I think I'll use this as my main also location from now on. read more

Hooray for another Aldi opening up! I've shopped at Aldi stores in the Chicago area so was excited to hear that we'd get our own in Tempe. For the grand opening week it looks like they are waiving the quarter deposit for carts so that people can get used to how the store operates. Aldi keeps its prices low by economizing on some more common aspects of other grocery stores here. For future reference, this means: - If you want a cart, bring a quarter to unlock one in the cart corral area next to the entrance. When you lock your cart back up after shopping you'll get the quarter back. - Bring your own bags and be prepared to bag them yourself. If you didn't bring bags, they do sell them at the store. - Not sure if this falls under cost cutting measures but they don't accept any coupons other than the ones that are printed or mailed out by Aldi. I learned that the hard way when I had a coupon for one of the few items that weren't private/Aldi brand and tried to use it. I also came here to redeem a $5 of $30 coupon I got in the mail. When I went here the produce looked very fresh, with a mix of conventionally grown and organic selections for a competitive price. The meat section had your standard pork, beef (choice grade) and some conventional and organically grown chicken. Seafood consisted mainly of salmon and shrimp. I enjoyed browsing here to see some different items you wouldn't typically find at your average store in AZ. In addition to food, they also have a section devoted to home goods, camping supplies, and summer related items such as pool floaties. Since Aldi is a European company it reminds me a little bit like a condensed, European version of Walmart since it offers a wide variety of items in the space that they have for a reasonable price. Check out when I was here consisted of one cashier at the traditional conveyor belt check out area, and 4-6 self service check out kiosks. If you do encounter an issue at the self service kiosk there currently doesn't seem to be a dedicated employee there at all times to provide help should you need it so there might be a wait for someone to mosey over to see what you need. I I've shopped at ALDI regularly and for quite a while. But I don't live near one so I use Instacart to deliver. I ALWAYS buy a dozen packets of ground beef for the week from ALDI because we use a LOT and don't want to pay for delivery every couple of days. Today, they wouldn't allow my shopper to purchase more than 4 packs of full price beef. That is insane!!! Looks like German-owned ALDI is leading the way into food control for the US population. Very bad. I'll probably stay away from now on since they're trying to control how I spend my money. They have a few things that I like to get, but in general, they're over-rated. Upon reading a glowing review online, I made the trip to Aldi in Tempe, AZ. Their Special Select Sliced Italian was supposed to be the bomb. It isn't! What you get is balloon bread with little flavor and no crust, masquerading as an artisan loaf. Don't bother to buy it. read more

The quality of the produce is always wonderful here. I come by on Sundays with my boyfriend to browse and so I can stock up on fruits and veggies for my work lunches. I wish it were a little less crowded but that's probably outside of their control. I also enjoy stopping by their frozen section to see their ice creams. I had a very bad experience at the ALDI grocery store on McClintock and Southern in Tempe Arizona. On 3 separate occasions I have had the manager accuse me of stealing. The most recent incident she came running up to me screaming and yelling. Sir, sir stop stop! The entire store stopped and looked. It was so embarrassing. I confronted the manager a couple days later and requested that her supervisor or the next up in her chain of command call me. I am so upset. I am a Army with a Masters Degree from ASU and have lived in the neighborhood for more then 40 years. It is a complete insult and an 0bomimation that it has happened 3 times. People like the manager at this ALDI give an other wise good company a bad name. Love this grocery store! Great prices - I know, I've cross referenced with other stores. You DO need to either bring a reusable bag or basket of your own. I don't mind that because 1) save the planet & 2) what the heck do people do with so many plastic bags?! lol If you want to cause more demand on plastic, sure, you'll be asked to pay per bag. This store does not, I repeat, does not charge you for a cart. The system is you put a quarter in the machine to release a cart & when you place the cart back where you got it from you get your quarter back. If you chose to steal the cart or are too lazy/inconsiderate to return the cart to its rightful place then, yes, you've just bought or rented the cart for .25 cents. read more

The only critique I have is the store can be a bit cluttered in the evenings and I'm sure it complicates inventory knowledge; so everyone be aware of that. I also know this happens in other grocery stores, so again- just raising awareness. Other than that, the food is truly fresh and well displayed. The selection is diverse and unique. They have also a small, yet quality section of autumn (fall) decorations. I like how the cashiers can sit down while ringing you up and the concept of putting a 25 cent down payment to use a cart. Those carts are safeguarded and that's great for the environment! Speaking of prices, the prices are fair given all the logistics and importing costs/laws.I definitely am returning to do some in-depth hunting for home decor and some treats and quality food! read more

Worst customer service I have ever witnessed. The one on Signak Butte. people where standing in line and there where three cashiers and two of the three told everyone to go to the last one. A customer commented and the last cashier loud said "'we have a life too if you don't like it then leave. He ask for a manger and the guy sadi Good luck on that. When the manager came she was just as rude. The stock was low boxes where in the isles ready to unload the store was messy. When I finally got to the check out the rude manager was our cashier. I did not know you needed your own bags and I asked what I was suppose to do! Thu was my se and time in four years and the first time I did not by anything. She said they normally have paper bags and they where out! She said maybe next time you will remember. I said like heck there will be next time.The final nail in the coffin is their website is a joke and it says there are no store numbers to save time and you have to dig hard to find a customer. complaint contact.
