Really love the concept of this place. Great for families. Great for brunch. They have blankets if you want to sit on the green grass and watch the pond, otherwise seating is patio tables. The menu changes regularly so come back to try new dishes. We had the Indian breakfast tacos, beet toast, and taste of the meadows. It is embarrassing for me to tell the cashier that the item is too expensive and to put it back, although I do it. This place is a fancy cute vegetable stand indeed. But please stop imitating the snooty luxury car dealership down the road where if you have to ask how much it costs, you can't afford it. Allow me to Singh some praises for Singh Meadows! This farmer's market is simply adorable and has a large green meadow and lake in the back as well as a dog friendly patio. The market has a lovely selection of really nice looking vegetables, fruits, farm fresh eggs, and also sells jarred goods, pastries, fudge and delicious Noble bread. While there are a few paved parking spots, if you come at a busy time chances are you'll be parking in the large dirt lot close by. It's a short walk to the market and if you bring your doggos they have a doggie bag station if you need to pick up your pupper's dirty deeds (Done dirt cheap according to AC/DC). I wanted to come here to try out the food from the kitchen but after seeing the long line snaking out the door which didn't seem to be moving at all, I decided to just get a pastry instead. The almond croissant I had was $5 plus tax, and was divine. It was crisp, flaky and buttery, with a generous amount of almond paste and sliced almonds on top, dusted with powdered sugar. While wandering outside the grounds are lush, green and well maintained. It's a popular place for families to take their kiddos and several dogs were also there enjoying the outdoors with their humans. We brought our pups and they had a lovely time taking in all the new sights and being the center of attention to all the kids here :). Tricki in particular did her civic duty of trying to be the meadow's furry four legged lawnmower on any spots of grass that weren't given their summer 'do. On the patio there's a basket with large blankets for you to use if you want to picnic on the meadows. As a side note, be sure you put on some bug repellant before you come here! Singh Meadows is my new favorite business in the Valley... It is a true gem! I visited on a recent Sunday with my family and was blown away at how incredible this property is. Unless you go looking for it, you would never know that it's hiding back by Big Surf off of McClintock and Weber. The on-site farmers market sells the most fresh, organic produce you will find. The cafe serves true farm-to-table delicious and beautiful cuisine in addition to fresh juice and coffee. I highly recommend the "Taste of the Meadows" if it's offered when you are there. (The menu changes based on what is fresh and available, but when we were there, it included grilled Noble read, Ricotta, honey, dates, pistachio, citrus and apples). There is a ton of land to explore from green grass (the property was formerly a golf course) and walking trails to ducks in the water, tables to sit at, beanbags and blankets to use during your visit, and more. They are dog friendly as long as your dog is leashes and stays outside... Super family friendly too-- we brought a soccer ball and baseball gloves and played for awhile in addition to eating and relaxing. The Singh family owns and operate this farm and are onsite along with a ton of friendly staff. I attached a photo that Mr. Singh took with my family. Singh Meadows is located in Tempe. This is a farm market that also offers a Breakfast/Lunch Cafe that (at this time) is only open three days a week (Fri., Sat., Sun.). On the day of my visit they offered an eleven item menu that was mostly vegetarian. The only meat proteins that were offered on the day of my visit was Masala Pork Sausage and Korean Beef Potato Stew. The cafe is casual and busy. You wait in line to order, pay and your name gets called to pick up your order about 25 minutes later. You sit either inside, on the patio, further out, or in the meadow. They offer blankets for those who want to enjoy the meadow. We shared three different plates and they all stunning and beautiful and delicious. They all were made with high quality ingredients that were fresher than I ever had. Also the portions were very large so I had leftovers. We shared the Korean Beef Potato Stew, The Swiss chard Falafel Sandwich and the Beet Toast. All were very detailed dishes that were spectacular. Even the raw green beans were unlike any green bean I ever tasted before. These were so tender and so sweet...not like the woody ones the supermarket sells. The front of the building is a farmer's market with vegetables, eggs, jams and jellies, salad dressings and other wonderful things. The 'order at the counter' restaurant has about 10-12 items from $9-$15 with generous portions. There's also a juice bar and pastries. There are inside and outside tables. Beyond the tables,​ there's a beautiful green meadow which makes it seem like you're somewhere very different than Tempe. Simply beautiful! Above and beyond being a great place for breakfast or lunch, this would be a wonderful, memorable place to bring out of town guests. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars. Hands down the prettiest farmers market I have seen. Presentation is exceptional. My sister had potato leek soup with sour cream, she sId best soup she ever had. She is from San Francisco so that's is a high compliment. They sell soaps, jewelry ,breads vegetables, pastries, cookies etc. cranberry walnut bread looked amazing. Just like everyone said, this is a hidden gem! I never heard of Singh Meadows until I saw an article in the paper in February talking about it. I thought it was an interesting place to try especially when I read that the food is farm to table and they had an Indian twist to their dishes. Our friends had already tried the place and thought we would really like it so they suggested we all go for a Sunday brunch. We got in at around 10. The parking area is not paved, it's just dirt and when it fills up, there can be a slight walk to get to the entrance. When you walk in, you basically walk directly into the farmers market. It is a small shop with the freshest looking produce all around. They have samples of some of the dips, jams, breads and dates they sell for people to try. The owner I believe, was walking around chatting with people and offering them free Mandarin samples. He seemed very friendly and was very courteous. He would chat with people and tell them about his farm and farming skills. The cafe, which serves a somewhat small menu, is also in there but the seating is all outside. You place your order and then pick it up when it's ready. They have a menu for every season (they currently are on their spring menu). There are many vegan options as well as some meat items as well. Everything sounds so different and very original. When you read the ingredients, you can tell a lot of thought has gone into those beautiful creations. I ordered the breakfast tacos and my husband ordered the duck frittata. Our friends selected vegetarian options from the menu as well. For drinks, I ordered the honey lemonade and my husband and our friends got coffee. We got a buzzer and grabbed a table while we waited for our food. Since the line does get very long, we appreciated the fact that you can order drinks later if you want from a big order window that overlooks the outdoor area. The location of Singh Meadows used to be a golf course so there is a lot of greenery and there's also a small lake. While there are already tables outside to sit and enjoy the great food and drinks, the cafe offers blankets so if they run out of tables, you can just grab one and enjoy your meal on the grass! They also allow people to get their own tables and even set up umbrellas if they want! The outdoors are pet friendly as long as the pet is leashed. We saw a lot of cute dogs hanging out there. It is also nice to take kids there. They can run around and enjoy being outdoor with their families. Word of caution to mothers of babies out there, there is no changing table anywhere! I had a very hard time changing my little one in the ladies bathroom. I used the sink's small surface to change her. Not at all convenient and pretty risky to be honest. I hope they will look into installing a changer. If the car wasn't parked too far away, I would have changed her in the car! When I returned to the table, the food was about ready; the buzzer went off a few minutes later. The presentation of the food is like a work of art. It is so beautifully put together, it's worth a picture in a frame! When we dug in, the flavors were absolutely delicious! I was a little skeptical of having labne mixed in with dhal! I'm so glad I listened to my friend when she said a friend of hers tried it and it was very good. Every bite of it was delicious! My husband and our friends enjoyed the food so much as well. We all finished our plates to the last bite. This was an absolutely amazing meal! Overall Singh Meadows deserves 5 stars! It's unique menu and food as well as the quality and freshness of everything they serve makes it a place one should definitely try! Easy to miss from the road, Singh market is on an old course, with the golf course trimmings like high netting and big green lawns. Depending on when you go, there is more or less selection of veggies and fruits in part of the small building. The produce was very photogenic. They also had samples of their other items like Ginger candy and dips. In addition to the market, there's a small restaurant where you can order and eat outside. The menu is showcases things like quiche, flatheads, and a Singh burger. They also have a selection of teas and coffees. The quiche was pretty small but fluffy and had a welcome addition of potato. The fennel/onion Flatbread pizza tasted good but the name was a bit deceiving because it was definitely a pizza rather than a Flatbread. The Vietnamese salad was very simple and fresh; it didn't seem hard to make, given the ingredients. The food wasn't super quick to come out but it wasn't a big deal. I particularly enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. They have some tables outdoors and even blankets to sit on the lawn. There were a lot of little kids running around and they loved the huge space. It would be nice if they could do some renovations to the lawn and create an actual path around the lake. The parking lot is not super big and they close fairly early. This is not what we thought it was. No farmers market and there wasn't a lot to see as far as "farm" goes. We attempted to buy some juice and the attendant at the register an unfriendly young blond couldn't swipe the card she blamed the card... Even though we has just used it in the morning before trying to purchase from them... I asked if it could be manually entered and she said yeah, but that's a whole nother process... Uh, yeah duh!! That's the point. She seemed to care less that she was going to lose our business. There was no customer service of kindness at all. Don't go here if you want to have a farm type experience. Go the schnepf farm in queen creek or Verduccio in the mesa area. read more

An old golf course converted to a beautiful farmers market/meadow, Singh Meadows is so peaceful and perfect. Singh Farms is absolutely amazing! We went to their Farmer's Market on Saturday and had such a pleasant experience. The farm is located off Thomas Road and the 101 in a secluded area which is so beautiful! Since there has been quite a bit of rain the past week, the parking lot was terribly muddy. At first I didn't realize that there are actually two parking areas - the first one which is 20 minute parking & handicapped parking, and the second which is the regular parking. The second lot was much better than the first! As I was saying previously, the farm area is really quite beautiful. There are a lot of trees, bushes, etc. that line multiple small walking trails. All throughout, they've made provisions of seating to enjoy your morning. The farm is actually much bigger than we thought, but it's still quaint enough that you can take a stroll around and enjoy the atmosphere for some time. When we got there, we first took a look around the actual farmers market. They had many different types of vegetables, homemade breads, compound butters, pastries, and various other small edible items for sale. We were most fascinated with the homemade bread so we got a couple of loaves of it. They had set up small samples of their bread with olive oil and compound butter. The bread was so soft we knew we would really love it! Since it was still really chilly in the morning, we got a cup of the creamy broccoli soup, super tasty, and walked over to one of the benches that was hidden amongst the trees. It was so nice to just sit there while listening to a man play the accordion, and enjoy the crisp, fresh air! Among other food options, they also had probiotic sodas for sample (orange turmeric & root beer) ... definitely not my cup of tea, but they were interesting to try out! I did see others getting wood fired pizza, coffee, along with other beverages too! This actually made for a really fun/different Saturday morning event for my boyfriend & me. We decided to come here after an early morning bike ride. I believe that we went to Singhs Meadows and not the Farm....based on the pictures, these places are different. Nonetheless, upon entrance, it feels like you're in a different world. There is a lovely assortment of vegetables, fruit, bread, and baked goods. They have kits of produce you can preorder and pick up. Everything looks fresh and delicious. On the side, there is a bistro where you can order food and drinks. We were near closing time, so we will have to venture back here to try to food... We did get to sit outside for a bit. They have blankets that they let you borrow if you opt to sit outside in the grass. Otherwise, they had benches and tables you could sit at. The greenspace was beautiful and large. This place won me over quickly. I recommend checking it out! read more

I FINALLY made it out to Singh Meadows this past weekend and came home will all kinds of goodies!! I totally miss the cozy farm but I know this move was out of their control so i'm embracing change! The best part, dogs are allowed at this location as long as you go around back and sit on their patio! YEEE! Harvey is going to be the happiest camper. They're open Saturdays and Sundays only from 8 AM - 2 PM. When you arrive, you walk up to their market of sorts that is rather small but packed full of local goodies like in-season produce, honey, dips, breads, baked goods, sauces, jams, cheese, spring rolls, etc. Once you purchase your food for the week, head out back where you can order from their quaint little cafe and snag a fresh juice! They also had baby goats in a little corral and they were SO cute! This is a great place to let the kiddos run around - it is like a wide open pasture. The fact that the market is indoors, makes it bearable in the summer! I will definitely be making a regular stop here to get fresh, local produce because it really doesn't get better than that! This trip, we left with corn, tomatoes, peppers, Baba Ganoush, chive pretzels, spring rolls, a delicious watermelon juice, and a granola bar. As someone who's been eating gluten-free for almost 11 years, this was the worst ever eating experience I've ever had. The café menu is limited for vegan or gluten-free. The café staff weren't very knowledgeable or accommodating. I asked for the marked as gluten-free soup with flatbread; they said the flatbread isn't gluten-free. Then why advertise it as such? They said they'd give me the soup without the bread. It came out with bread. My friend who can't eat dairy had one option on the menu, a too-spicy gazpacho she couldn't eat. The owner then came over and started lecturing me about how the reason I'm sick and have to eat gluten-free is because of pesticides in the food I eat. He has no idea what food I was raised eating, and had no idea what happens to people with autoimmune diseases like Celiac if we deviate from our medically prescribed diets. He then proceeded to mansplain at me about food and disease with no basis in science or understanding of lived reality for those of us with autoimmune disease. His behavior was extremely off-putting and unpleasant. People have had autoimmune diseases since before pesticides and the reason there are more diagnoses now is because of more awareness and better diagnostics from medical professionals. I won't come here again, and I won't recommend this place to people with any medical-based dietary restrictions. Come here if you like vegetarian food without a lot of options or accommodations. It's not a place that'll help you find food you can eat! read more

I love Singh Meadows overall, I really do. If you think you'd like to hold an event there, I wish you luck. We recently pulled off a beautiful party for my 1 year old but only because I was willing to stalk them and not get upset when they intermittently replied. There is no phone number and the emails are returned occasionally and not all of your questions will be answered. When I dropped by in-person to have some basic questions answered (like can I arrange water for my guests somehow?), the owner made it crystal clear he didn't need my business and treated me like he was doing me a favor. We pre-ordered a fair bit of food and the day of the party we had to wheel it down from the cafe ourselves (no biggie - we didn't mind). We had plastic pitchers of water that we also had to refill ourselves (also no biggie). The catering menu said that all prices included plates, cutlery, etc. My husband went to pay the bill afterward (we literally had to track them down), and he was charged an extra $70 in miscellaneous fees. This is such a gorgeous place for the community and I wish they'd hire an events manager or at the minimum just answer a phone. Or heck, just even say thanks! read more

I was so disappointed when Singh Farms had to close to the public. It was a great place to spend a Saturday morning wandering among the trees, small gardens, fresh produce stands and food vendors. A great family place. A great small community destination in a large city. But, low & behold, Mr. Singh has now opened a new destination - Singh Meadows. We spent a couple hours today wandering this beautiful setting. Rolling grassy meadows, a small pond with a walking path. Peace and quiet. Mr. Singh has outdone himself - once again. Singh Meadows is totally different than Singh Farms; but, just as twins are identical, and each one carries his own unique personality, Singh Farms & Singh Meadows - are twins, but totally unique. This morning we bought a pot of French press coffee, some wonderful breads, and fresh apple cider. Sitting at one of the handmade picnic tables, we indulged, watched 3 baby goats (kids) being bottle-fed and enjoyed the spring sunshine on our backs. There was no place else I wanted to be. Fresh produce from Singh Farms, fresh breads, honeys, and lots of local food products. Spread your picnic blanket out on the grass, let your wee ones run to their hearts content and feel the cares of everyday problems just melt away. From the moment I walked in I enjoyed my experience. Saw a basket sitting wondering if it was mine. Went to the cafe and ordered from the "June menu". Got a cold brew, breakfast polenta, and 2 roasted corn on cob to go. While I was waiting I went to cashier and talked to Christie and others. Found out it was my basket. Shoot I should have taken a pic!! (I'm bad with that.) It was amazing!! I brought my own bags so they gave me a discount of $5 since I didn't take the basket. Samples of tomato jam, garlic Parmesan butter, flourless chocolate walnut cookies. They were all very yummy I brought my bags to the curb and as I pulled up I ran over one of my bags I went it to tell them about the smashed melon and without hesitation gave me another. So beautiful out back with a lake. Lots of outdoor covered seating. I can't wait to go back and take family and friends!! read more
