    Adding our sweet plants
    Joan C.

Honestly such a great experience. I was given a gift card for my birthday from my co-workers at school. The best gift they know what a plant and art nerd I am. This is the best of both worlds. You pick your planter, you pick your plants. You decide on sand art or soil or both. All kinds of accessories from natural to figurines and everything in between. Katie was so friendly and informative and full of fun ideas. They have a book of ideas as well and different planters and terrariums on display. They offer workshops which we are definitely coming back for. You can spend as little or as much as your budget will allow. Such a cool gift idea. Our daughter in-law and our granddaughters would love doing this. Definitely go check out Jade and Clover Plant Bar. You will not be disappointed

We came here for a work group event and it was such a good time! The lovely staff were so nice and helped us through the whole process! It was a very fun a therapeutic way to spend the afternoon. The sand stacking is fun and makes you focus to get cool designs. It's also fun to be able to customize everything with different colored sands and options to add rocks and little garden figures. I would also look around the store! They have such an eclectic mix of goods you will definitely find something to make you laugh or smile! Almost everyone in my group made an impulse buy after our session. I would love to bring my friends back here for another class!

So so cute and such a unique experience truly! The ambience is so nice and refreshing in there and the customer service is amazing! Talula (I hope that's how you spell her name but) she was the sweetest and so informative on everything we needed to do, to have the most out of our time there! They had so many types of succulents, cacti and house plants to pick from for your choices in your terrarium, as well as the many many sand and rock options! The pricing of things felt reasonable overall but be careful not to get carried away picking since it's so easy to based off the cute stuff they have! I loved it and definitely want to go back!

I really wanted to love Jade and Clover, but it fell short for me. Don't get me wrong, it's a really cool concept but it's SO expensive for what you get. I came with my coworkers for an outing and we are all plant lovers so Jade and Clover was an automatic pick! We got there on a Wednesday in the morning and it was empty. I made a reservation just in case (and got text and email confirmation) and upon walking to the front desk to check in the lady "couldn't find it" but it didn't matter since the establishment was empty. I was a little underwhelmed with the help and what was out for us to use. A lot of the sand colors were empty and there weren't a ton of healthy looking house plants (I opted for succulents). There were lots of succulents and cacti to choose from however! It was a little chaotic because we weren't sure what the cost of all the different pots, glassware, vases. The pricing was definitely expensive when we figured out what it was. Everything was a cost, the glitter, moss, sparkle glass, little figurines, etc too, so it adds up quick! Our help was lackluster though, she seemed more annoyed that she had to help us than anything. It was a cool idea, something to do with your mom or best friend for a birthday gift or Mother's Day. But I probably won't be back again.

First off, I want to start out my review by saying that this place is soooooo cute, fun, and very girly. I was very excited when I came across their social media page and knew I had to come by with my friend to check them out. I emailed them first because I was unsure if the planting gig was by reservation or walk in. The person who emailed me was very friendly and told me that I did not need to reserve for any parties under 5 but I could if I wanted to. I felt better with reserving a time slot so I let them know there would be 3 of us for Sunday at 4pm. I got a response from them right away and was told that they had put me down for 4pm. They also let me know that they had a Pilates event that would be starting at 4:45pm but we were good to go. We arrived at 4:05pm, found a parking spot, and walked in. There was a girl standing by the succulent wall organizing and she quickly said hello and asked us if we were there for the Pilates event. I told her no that we were there for the "planting gig" and she looked confused. She then told us she was not sure if they were still allowing that and that she was going to ask. She then proceeded to give us instructions on how the potting / planting worked so we figured we were good to proceed. We walked around the store first and it was sooo cute. They have so many unique items and cute trinkets. They also had a few pieces of clothing and some cute home goods / décor for sale. We made it back to the planting area and we chose our pots. I chose a glass one and my sister and friend chose theirs out of ceramic. Next, we picked our plants. The plant wall was sad. There was only a handful of plants available and there weren't so many options to choose from. It was nothing like what they portrayed on social media... The cacti selection outside was worse, they were not cute. We stood there confused as to what to do next waiting to be acknowledged. A different employee finally came on over and then quickly told us what to do. At this point other customers walked in and were looking to do the same gig as us. They stood there for a while confused as to how this process worked and no one helped them out. They watched us for a while until finally someone came over to them. The steps are easy and simple to follow. If you choose to do soil for your pot you will literally be done in like two minutes. My sister and friend stood there and watched me have fun adding the colored sand to my pot since they had done just the regular soil. At this point the Pilates event had started and there was people scattered everywhere. Some poor girl was placed right next to where we were making our pots and she was literally in our way. We were in her way and she was in ours, so frustrating. The workers then started prepping the big table for the Pilates group and so we figured it was our Q to get the F out of the way. Nothing was said to us but they were giving us weird looks. We were luckily done putting our final touches together but we still felt rushed. Went to pay and it was the same girl who greeted us at the beginning that was now at the register. She wasn't friendly and had a sour look on her face. She could've been a little more cheerful and ask us how our visit had been, but nope nothing. I'm surprised she even took the time to explain to us how to water our plants.... We all spent about $30 - $35 each on these plants / pots and we thought it was funny that the machine was still asking for a tip. Overall this could've been an amazing experience if they had just showed us some appreciation as we felt very unwelcomed and not wanted there. If they are going to be hosting an event with 15+ people and are going to be taking over all the space, then why not shut down for the evening? It made no sense that they stayed open and still allowed us to arrive and be in the way of such a big class.

What a cute and fun day date! I was expected it to be pricier but the size pot and succulent I chose were totally adorable. Would definitely come back and build more creations!

My nephew's girlfriend suggested this place for her birthday celebration. I never even knew there was a place where you can make your own plants. This place is super cute with lots of unique items for purchase. The concept is quite simple, you pick a container .. it literally can be even be a mug you found in the store which is what we did, then you select your plant, they help you add the soil, you choose the rocks and then there are additional items you can purchase to add. I added a butterfly for mine while my nephews's girlfriend added some Halloween embellishments. In addition to plants, you can create items using colorful sand or add the colored sand to your plant. I'm not a plant person but this place has me reconsidering. This is a great activity for just about anything. Kids, birthday celebration, ladies night, date night and the list goes on. What an awesome and memorable experience.

After hearing tons of local buzz about Jade And Clover, my husband and I finally made it over on a recent afternoon after lunching at Postino. What an adorable gift and plant shop! Katie was working and showed us around the shop and educated us on how the place works re: events, building your own succulent /terrarium. Such a fun concept... I will be back!

This place is so cool. Came here to make a little succulent pot and it was so fun. The staff was very nice and helpful and answered all of the questions I had. Great selection of pots and plants and other boutique items. Had so much fun making my pot and chatting. Would be such a good place to take a date!

My friend and I had such a fantastic time here building our own succulents. The owner was very helpful and knowledgeable throughout the process. We first selected a vessel of our choice to put our succulent in, then chose our succulent, and decorated and customized away. It was genuinely a fun experience, especially for out of towners. We really appreciated the shop acting as a gift shop as well. There was an abundance of cute knick knacks to choose from and take home. Albeit on the pricier side, it's a pretty unique experience that everyone should try at least once.

Jade & Clover located behind the Postino Arcadia is just the cute retail and plant store that you want to wander around after a leisurely meal at Postino or La Grande Orange. You can build your own terrarium or little potted garden. So much to see, with adorable succulents, containers, crystals and colored sands. Lots of other sweet decor and retail to peruse. The staff and super nice and the store has a light comforting vibe that I really like. If you love La Grande Orange stroll over to Jade & Clover!!

I only deduct a star because you're kind of left on your own and it's very pricey. I found out about Jade & Clover on TikTok. So, my husband and I head across the valley for a date day. It's a super cute place. Lots of cute things to buy in addition to making your terrarium. You walk through and pick out which container you would like, then you pick your succulents. There is no real guidance here. Then you go to the assembly table. You'll pick soil or sand and one of the employees will tell you how to prep your plants. It's really just let your imagination determine what looks good from there. There were some rocks that were included in the price, but almost everything was an extra fee. For these two terrariums, the total was over $120. I wouldn't do it again because the cost wasn't really worth the 30 mins it took, but it was fun.

Getting there: So once you arrive to the parking lot, there is very limited parking. The entrance to the shop is right behind Postino's, facing away from the parking lot. Experience: I love shops like this, but this is by far my favorite for their plant bar. You can plant a pot from their shop or you can create your own terrarium. You can select from ceramic pot or glass option, then a associate guides you through the process. I am obsessed with how mine came out! Aside from their cute plant selections, they have some really cool gifts, artwork, plants to purchase, even propagated plants! If you check their calendar they offer special workshops such as candle making or even porch mat decorating. I desperately wish there was one closer to me.

Inside, the houseplant section had a good mix of some plants you see often, but also a few rare and interesting ones I don't usually come across, including some unique philodendrons and a couple pothos. The indoor area is on the smaller side, so when it gets a little crowded, it can feel a bit tight... that's probably my only minor critique. That said, the overall vibe was welcoming. I appreciated being greeted when I came in and then left alone to browse when I mentioned I didn't need help. That balance matters. The prices were fair as far as my knowledge in cruising through plant aisles and sections. Nothing unreasonable from my perspective. I'm glad I stopped in, and I'd definitely come back once I and my new Nanouk get to know each other a bit more. All in all, a peaceful and worthwhile plant stop.
