Love the Jungle Box! Such a fun store full of treasures: beautiful houseplants, exotic jungle plants, colorful frogs and terrariums, and if you're lucky, you'll see the owner's dog and parrots! The staff are so helpful and don't mind answering my 1,000 questions whenever I'm in there. Although these plants aren't as cheap as what you'd find in a big box store, the value of supporting a local spot and getting expert advice is worth the extra dollar! FYI, Jungle Box will host parties! My friend hosted a birthday party and we were allowed to bring cake and champagne. My friends and I came here to kill some time since we were in the shopping center. What a gem! I'm being transparent when I say I do not have a green thumb nor do I have a passion for exotic plants (or even plants at all). This shop was awesome. They had an inside "jungle" that when inside felt like a true jungle. There was a spot called "The Bamboo Room" where you could get a group together and make terrariums. They have pots for sale of all sizes, shapes, and materials. They even have an outside yard in the back with even more plants. They also had 2 parrots in cages. We love Jungle Box! This is our go to flower shop in Arizona. They have a huge selection of succulents, indoor, and outdoor plants. Safe to say Jungle Box hired knowledgeable botanists - Everyone was friendly, and was able to guide us in the right direction to purchase the best plants that made sense for us. I think I have a new favorite plant shop! Found this place on Instagram and have been wanting to go. Vivariums with frogs, classes on horticulture and vivarium building, parrots,, a walk through plant room, big variety at all different stages and prices, and very friendly staff. I only bought three new plants to be fair they are varieties that I don't have already. I even brought the family back with me the next day to share this beauty. The prices are great! I love "saving" plants from the clearance section. So much variety and aquatic plants for my dream of someday having a vivarium. They hold classes and I plan on attending at some point. The store owner has been verbally disrespectful, when unloading and blocking parking lot. Today he parked in the only handicapped spot 1/2 pulled in, illegally for 4 hrs. The next time the police will be called immediately. Yes, I have the plate but this is the warning. This place is awesome! Staff at nurseries / plant stores is notoriously friendly I think, but they were extra-friendly at Jungle Box (very helpful and personable). Tons of plants of all kinds, including exotic plants - all very well cared for. I was impressed with the selection. Tons of unique planters and pots as well. We came here for a date night and saw the most exotic frogs and beautiful plants! The whole store is such a vibe. Prices seemed reasonable to the plant store I had back in Indiana. Jungle box had really cool pots and glass watering cans. I could see grabbing a lot of these things for gifts for a plant lover. They also have classes and I'm hoping to go to the house plant class. I had so many plants thriving back in Indiana but I can't keep any alive here. :/ The woman working was so lovely too! I really enjoyed chatting with her. I wish I wasn't leaving this since the staff is super friendly, but.....I have had more than one plant die shortly after purchase from root rot and my most recent purchase has thrips. I'm not a novice plant owner, I know plants die from time to time, but it's a consistent theme from this place. They're overpriced, but they carry some of the more exotic philodendrons so I've given them more than a fair shot. Bummer is they sold me a cream stripe a that's actually just a Brazil and a glorious as a gloriosum. Not cool. read more

I cannot believe I'm the first to leave a review of Jungle Box! Perhaps people want to keep this gem of a shop a secret. I bought a beautiful potted plant at the farmer's market and learned they have a brick and mortar shop that has been opened 3 months (they don't have a sign yet, so easy to drive past--they are next door to a tattoo shop). What a daring move during the pandemic--but if they keep up what they are doing, they will make it. I went tonight to purchase a gift. The only problem I have with this place is making a decision on what to buy. Everything is healthy and fairly priced.

I love going to Jungle Box, they have a very diverse plant selection however multiple times i've purchased plants that have root rot, thrips, and slugs. I understand it's my responsibility to check the plants before purchasing however I'm not going to dump the soil out and inspect the roots in the middle of the store. You guys should focus on selling quality plants before anything else (classes, decor, etc). Also your employees need to learn how to answer a phone. If i'm calling I shouldn't have to sit there and wait for them to say something. A simple "hello" would've been nice but I didn't even get that.
