We have been going to Whitfill for over 20 years now! What started out as Christmas tree shopping…read morewhen our boys were little has now turned into a yearly tradition that we hope one day they will continue with their own families. Not only do we go to them during the holidays but rely on them throughout the year when we need additional plants and trees for our backyard. We first started using Whitfill back in the early 2000's when they were on 40th street south of Roeser. We literally lived across the street from their nursery and when they moved to their current spot on Southern we followed! We have decades of photos with our boys standing next to the tree they choose for Christmas and the tradition continues now with our Sphynx cats! They used to have a peacock walking around but unfortunately he is no longer there. They are pet friendly and we are comfortable taking our cats there in the stroller. Not only are their prices and tree selections the best in town but their customer service and knowledge of anything tree related is vast! They know what they are doing and don't try to upsell or get you to buy unnecessary items. They are the real deal!

Found some great plants but above all, we found a grass alternative that I haven't had any luck in finding locally. We asked one of the workers, Moray (I may be spelling his name wrong) and he was super helpful in finding out that they did indeed have it, drove us to the other side of their nursery and loaded it up for us. He was super helpful and knowledge and attentive. Highly recommend this nursery and def ask for Moray. You won't regret it.

What can we say but AMAZING!! A teacher friend I work with is a plant lover like I am, she told…read moreme,"You have to go to Pueblo!" So we did and we were not disappointed. Beautiful, absolutely BEAUTIFUL Every kind of plant you could want. Inside and outside are gorgeous. The plants are on the higher side but they are taken care of beautifully and it is an Experience you don't want to miss! We bought a banana plant kit that I thought would be fun. Stop by and spend a leisurely afternoon at Pueblo. J took the best care of us.

Anyways, super cute place with a lot of plant themed gifts and items, and of course, a lot of plants! While I'm not looking for more indoor plants I could not resist getting a healthy prayer plant. Small but I thought a good deal at $12. They also had some really tempting haworthia but I had to say no as I do not have my current indoor plant menagerie under control. Excuse to go back in the future! I went mid-day on a weekday and was able to get street parking easily. It might be harder during certain hours. This spot on Grand has really gorgeous planters - and the shop is across from Novel ice cream and like a 2 min walk from Grand Ave Brewing, so if you time it right you could support multiple local businesses!

**Disappointing Experience After a Significant Investment**…read more I was excited to discover this organic gardening company through a friend's referral. The idea of having professionals help establish my garden while teaching me to grow my own food was exactly what I wanted. Unfortunately, what began as a positive experience became a costly disappointment. I invested $1,200 in three fully planted garden carts ($400 each), approximately $800 in a custom garden box, an irrigation system, and $80 per month for maintenance. Initially, everything looked beautiful. James was always polite and frequently complimented how well my own plants were growing. However, communication with Ashley was challenging. Responses to questions were often brief, and scheduled maintenance visits were occasionally changed with little notice. **My biggest disappointment is the quality of the garden carts.** Despite following James's instructions to water thoroughly every day, all three carts have deteriorated significantly. One has completely rusted through, causing the bottom to fall out. Another is being held together with a strap, and the third is showing signs of deterioration. Meanwhile, two carts I purchased from Lowe's for approximately $100 each, nearly a year earlier, are still holding up beautifully. I emailed Ashley on October 4, explained the situation, asked about the warranty, and followed up with photographs. To date, I have received no response. I had every intention of having the company return for spring planting, although I planned to discontinue the maintenance program. My goal was to become an independent gardener, and I felt confident maintaining the garden myself while continuing to benefit from their expertise with seasonal planting. Interestingly, the friend who originally referred me has also independently discontinued their services. Their decision was unrelated to my experience; they simply felt the amount of produce harvested did not justify the ongoing expense. Unfortunately, I came to a similar conclusion regarding the overall value. If you're looking for someone to install and maintain a garden, this company may appeal to you. However, if you're hoping to learn gardening, receive consistent communication, and invest in products that will last, my experience fell short. I understand that products can fail. What matters is how a company responds when they do. After investing thousands of dollars, I would have expected at least an acknowledgment of my concerns. I genuinely wanted this to be a positive experience and intended to remain a customer. Instead, I'm left with deteriorating equipment, a substantial financial loss, and unanswered emails. A beautiful garden installation is wonderful, but quality, communication, value, and accountability are what ultimately determine the customer experience. I included photos of the rusted carts and one of the carts I purchased from Lowes a year earlier in great condition.
