I stopped by The Orange Patch, and it's exactly the kind of place that reminds you how good citrus…read morecan actually be. The standout for me was the Oro Blanco grapefruit. Sweet, mild, and none of that sharp bitterness that makes you question your decisions. They also offer different orange size options, which is genuinely appreciated. Sometimes you want smaller, easy-to-eat oranges, and sometimes you want the big, juicy ones. They make it easy to choose. The freshly squeezed juice is excellent. Bright, clean, and refreshing without being overly sweet. It tastes like it came straight from the source because it did. The staff was also incredibly friendly and attentive. One of the women working there offered to help multiple times, whether it was carrying things up to the front or answering questions about the different citrus options. It felt welcoming without being pushy, which is always a win. If you value quality fruit, fresh juice, and genuinely kind service, this is an easy place to recommend and one I'd gladly visit again.

I have never been to this Aldi location, but I stopped in during my lunch hour to see if they had…read morethe Disney ears I saw at my local Aldi the day before. They did, and I also found a pair of Mickey shoes that were so cute, I couldn't resist!! The Disney products are an Aldi Find, which means they are only available for a limited time or while supplies last, whichever comes first, I guess. I was shocked that the price tag for the shoes was just $14.99!! The best part is that they are so comfortable!! I definitely hit the jackpot! They also had a different style with a holographic Mickey on the shoe, but I opted for the original Mickey. I dropped a star only because I tried to call this location to see if they had the Disney ears in stock. I didn't want to waste my time or gas if they didn't have them, as I know stock varies by location. However, when I called, the generic recording comes on telling you that because they are short staffed, they don't have anyone to answer the phones which is laaaaaame sauce!! But whatevs, I got what I came for thank God, and even found an extra treasure during my hunt. You can't really beat Aldi prices, but make sure you ha e time to sift through the merch. You could miss something good if you're in a rush. Just sayin! ;)

The shopping experience here is pleasant and the aisles are spacious (which I love). I have only seen the store have empty shelves of some food or Aldi Finds, once and that was this week during my shopping trip. Otherwise, everything is well stocked, available, and fresh. Nearly every time I go to Aldi I find something new to try. I love it.

But my husband found Greenfield Citrus Nursery and we were shocked how quaint and impressive this nursery was. I was following all of the peacocks and chickens cared for on the property. I loved how much care Debbie had for these trees and the instructions she gave us for planting our very own Cara Cara orange. She wanted to make sure this tree had the best survival. Her team loaded the tree into our truck and tied it down for us. The soil was hard and dense aka our local Arizona dirt. We were provided citrus fertilizer for the first year. Can't wait to be able to eat a fresh orange from my backyard!

They were offering free milkshakes to the first 100 participants and we were lucky enough to score one of those gifts! We decided to just take one and share it and decided on the Frozen Hot Chocolate, which is made with Blue Bell chocolate ice cream, hot cocoa mix, chocolate sauce, marshmallow fluff and a "kosher" marshmallow. I'm just not a big sugar fiend so I found the shake to be extremely sweet and gooey...wife loved it! I didn't try the marshmallow but she said it was good and she could tell it was homemade. We decided we would try the store in Gilbert at some point this summer to see what other goodies they offer. Overall, a good treat and thank you for the free goodie!
