I've been going there for many years. I've been witnessing deterioration in quality. I never expected very fresh produce but since the past year, their produce are worst than usual with much higher prices for not very fresh produce. You would almost pay as much as you pay at a regular grocery stores for berries and avocados that are at their last leg. read more

Still shopping here, they've actually added a lot more products so it's like a mini market, you can get meat, cheese, eggs, and milk as well as other things along with your produce. They're also still doing Double Up which has been a real lifesaver for me. Staff is always friendly and I like that it's a smaller store as I'm still having a hard time walking I can actually still go here and do my own shopping. read more

I love Superstition Ranch Market. It's like a throwback to older times. They have a really good selection of produce and I can always find McIntosh apples here during the fall season. My husband especially loves the sourdough bread that they sell great customer service. And they sell kettle corn outdoor outdoors. read more

I have been in the Superstition Ranch Market in the past, but it had been quite some time. I wanted to stock up on some produce and I ended up with so much more! As I told the cashier, my eyes were bigger then my bags (I had only brought 2 reusable ones LOL). The cashier was very nice and so quick! She packed my bags beautifully so my items were not smashed. I really appreciated the care she took while still being efficient and not giving me a bunch of bags with 3 items in them. The parking lot was very busy but laid out nicely to allow for easy maneuvering. The lot in front of the store is one way but clearly marked with arrows to avoid issue. There is a second lot off to the side for back up parking. The store is laid out well to allow for personal space while browsing. I was super enthused with the produce prices and the quality/freshness of the fruits and vegetables. A few items I purchased were: beets for $1.29/lb, kale 99 cents/each, butternut squash 89 cents/lb, strawberries 2 for $3! The limes were 3 for $1. A dollar!! Typical grocery stores will charge $1 per lime/lemon sometimes... amazing! I then ventured off to the other side of the store and found fresh bakery items, tortillas, local made salsas, an amazing honey section, baking items, candies/nuts etc. There is even a Boars Head cooler with typical lunch meats, cheeses, bacon, etc. even hummus (2 for $7)! There were items I did not even realize they made. I purchased a few bakery items from Venezia Bakery - sourdough bruschetta $4.29, herb focaccia round $2.99, 6 pack hamburger bun $2.39. I was very excited to locate Mexican Vanilla extract and even happier it was only $1.99. I will definitely need to make my way here again!! read more

I absolutely love this place. The freshest fruits and vegetables. The prices are great (even better when the out of towners aren't in town). Lots of local or mostly local farmers products, they even carry a wide selection of honey, salad dressings and jams/jellies. The people are helpful, willing to go out of their way to help you find something. They've been around since the late 1960's so they must be doing something right. They have another location in Mesa, but personally I prefer this one. read more

I've purchased Venezia Bakery's garbage several times now, and it never fails to disappoint. Their ham, cheese & bacon 'pocket' - 3 small for $4.50 - is the last straw. The first one I bought had big air pockets and no filling. The 2nd time it had so little filling that, wrapped inside their 100% tasteless crust, the filling was indiscernible. So much for what they call "made from scratch each day"! What a big, fat lie. Nobody who took pride in their work would saddle the public with this trash. I've tasted better garbage at Circle K, which sells junk food that exceeds even McDonalds' low level of quality. I just read Venezia Bakery has closed. Their website is still up, but their email is disabled, probably for good reason. Good riddance. It seems Superstition Ranch market purchased all their leftovers - long stale - and are selling them for top money. I loved SRM when it opened, but lately it's slipping in credibility, quality and service; meanwhile their prices keep soaring north at warp speed. Just when you think you can rely on something, they've quit stocking it. Pretty soon now, they'll be even with Sprouts in high prices and lousy non-produce stuff from unknown suppliers. read more

Always a good variety of fruit and veggies but definitely make sure you plan on using them within a day or 2 of purchasing. Great variety of salsa and other products. I was very disappointed yesterday when we bought the Venezia bakery pretzel and cinnamon apple bread. Pretzel tasted nothing like a pretzel, just regular bread in a pretzel shape. cinnamon apple bread tasted burnt and you could not taste any hint of apple or cinnamon. read more

I can't say enough good things about Superstition Ranch Market. It's like having a farmer's market available every day. Artisan meats, cheeses and snacks. Local honey and local produce. I especially love to go here when hosting a special meal or holiday. The prices are the best in town. No wonder this place is always busy. They do close at 6pm so make sure to stop in early. I was just there and they market is better than ever... they try to keep the produce prices fair. A great place to buy the regular produce and even more. We like the tortillas and the Cerreta's Candy bar. The produce is good for the money and we like their artichokes (they are over priced at the regular grocery stores)... 5 stars! Went here on a Monday morning. The store was very clean inside. The prices were clearly displayed on signs at the produce sections. They have tons of fresh fruit and vegetables for great prices! They also have jars of pickled foods, dried foods, and candy. Nobody here was yelling at customers about distancing and/or masks, so it was pleasant to shop here. There was no line at the checkout and we were in and out fast. Okay I visited this place twice and absolutely will be back and will let all of my friends know about it. Great produce at reasonable prices with friendly employees. But,,, be prepared it's always busy so plan to spend a few minutes in the aisles but it is well well worth it. I've been shopping for vegi's and fruits here forever, and I've always been delighted with the prices, and the quality is for the most part good, so long as you sort through and find the good stuff. The thing that's starting to concern me is that their prices have increased recently to a point where so it seems as though they are now on a par with the big Markets, and I've even found some their prices exceed the big Markets. I don't know what is going on, but you pay the high price, but you don't get the high quality available in the big Markets. Maybe someone's bought out the produce they were previously getting. I was getting really sick of the lack of fresh produce right now at other stores and remembered years ago coming here and now I am wondering what took me so long to come back! This is the only place I will be getting produce now! The prices were amazing, especially right now with other places being so much. More importantly, it was fresh and a large selection. Beautiful peppers, fruit, lots of fresh salsas and dried fruit selection. We had to much fun getting some new hot sauces and salsas to try. This place is a little out of the way but worth the trip. At times in my life, I have DEPENDED on SRM. Their prices cannot be beat. There is always a variety of veggies, and often organic ones. The deals are sometimes unbelievable. Like 4 1lb boxes of strawberries for a dollar. A note of caution: you cannot shop there like you do at Target or Walmart. Quality Control is different at SRM. They will let some of their products "go bad" a little, before dumping them. The prices will actually drop, the longer something is on the shelf. It's really not a problem, as long as you choose your items knowledgeably. Leave the unripe or overripe items behind and you'll get great products for a great price. read more
