Oh what fun. The Fall Festival was a blast. It's packed on the weekends but we went on a Wednesday and right as it opened at 5. We wanted to not have to wait in line to pet the Highland Cows or Zebras. Lots of fun activities for everyone. Food trucks. Free games too. Family friendly environment you can walk through a corner maze, kids have games to play and animals to feed and the staff and animal caretakers were amazing and friendly. read more

Wowww what a great place to visit for kids! I was randomly find a local farm to take my kids to explore something different and I came across to this beautiful place. We went when they have a sun flowers picked which was so much fun for my kids -- they loved it! The entrance fee $10 per person and free for kids under two years old. They have animal feeding, free one sun flowers picked for free ( it's part of your fee) otherwise you can also get for more flowers for $1 each. There are a few play spot areas; from jumping, sliding, mini golf and more. Try to go early morning at 9 am before it's getting hotter, bring wagon or stroller, it would help you with carry some stuff that you may want to buy from the farmers. The staff and service are amazing, they also have some drinks and snacks offer as well. My suggestion is that give them a call and check what they have offer during that time so that you know what to expect and preparation. If you are looking for some changes place for your kids and family, come and check it out this place ( maybe not the hot season) We will come back again soon. read more

I'm tired! Went along with my two grandsons to burn off some energy and we did a lot of that. Pretty good family fun for the young and the getting up-there like myself. All the rides and slides were open, many choices for the kiddos to climb up, on and through. Corn maze was fun as well as the free petting zoo. Food choices were limited for the picky folks but no one should have been crying. After 4 hours of such fun this Grandpa needed nap. Five minutes into the ride home those kids fell asleep. I highly recommend this as a place to take your family for Christmas. There is non stop fun for kids including slides, trampolines, outdoor games and a petting zoo. There a great amount of food to choose from especially making your own s'mores. While visiting Santa you can make your own ornament and enjoy a classic Christmas film. Everyone who works there is extremely nice and more than eager to answer any questions you may have. But the best part is the never ending light display that's all over the farm. The lights make endless photo opportunities that gets everyone into the Christmas spirit. read more

My friend and I visited this farm after all the social media hype about petting calves during their winter event. So of course we paid a visit, even devoured the day to eating vegan just to not be hypocrites for the day. Ain't gonna go attempt to heal my soul by petting calves if I indulged in eating animals. *shrugs* Anywho, turns out, petting sessions with the calves is an additional fee. I guess I should have not been surprised. The experience was fun, charming, and definitely family friendly, great for kids, adults alike. The rest of the event was almost exclusively geared towards the kiddos. Since my party consisted of myself and another adult, obviously we didn't find much delight in the other stuff. This was an even to raise money for Love Pup. It was free with a donation. It was very organized. Everyone was really friendly. It was a lot of fun to see all the families and dogs. The grounds were clean and a lot of space was provided for the dogs and people. read more

I came here for their sunflower picking which was so cool! You get a free stem with admission or for just 5 bucks you can keep as many as you can fit in the cups they have there and the cups are decent sized. They also have small buckets for a higher price if you want even more. They had a HUGE field with all different kinds! It was so fun walking through and picking them out. There are also lots of fun play areas for kids to run around in and a free petting zoo. All of the workers were super friendly. My only complaint is the music. They were absolutely blasting rock music from loudspeakers all around the kid's play area. I felt like I was at a bar when I was on the seesaw that's right next to one of the speakers and had to yell for the kids to be able to hear me. It seemed very out of place for a farm. I get that they're trying to make it a fun vibe but I found it to be really off putting. I don't think there really needs to be music at all but maybe some music that's more on the right theme and not as loud would be ok. read more

Alrighty hang tighty, this will be a long review for the "pumpkin patch"/ Fall Festival.... *$15 entrance per adult and kids of all ages but kids 2 years and under are free. If you bring in a non perishable food item for the food bank per person, you get $2 off so $13! * Military Active/Retired and First Responders (Fire, Police, Border Patrol, Paramedics) $3 off any day with ID * Seniors $2 off with ID any day. Pumpkins and food not included, gotta pay for those separately. But they allow you to bring in your own food and drinks so I was happy about that. There is a huge free parking lot. It's all dirt so don't get a car wash beforehand. Lols... We went on a Friday around 3:30 and it was not busy. The crowds and long lines started to form around 6:30. I didn't eat any food except for the dole whip ($6 and it was good) so can't say much about it.... So if you are looking for a field of pumpkins to frolick around in..... this is not your place. They do have pumpkins but just in an area at the exit. There was still an adequate amount for a photo opp with the kids, which was all I wanted.... Vertuccio's is more like this huge outdoor area of activities. My kids are 9, 6 and 4 and had a blast. We were there for 4 hours! Some of the activities included - 5 acre Corn Maze Petting Zoo Super Mega tube Slide Carnival Games Barrel Train Ride Giant Tube roll Giant Jump Pad Small Playground Mini Golf And my fave, these lil cow cars that you're whipped around in by a tractor. There is also a pony ride for $5. My 4 year old could go on everything except the mega tube slide bc there was a height requirement and she didn't meet it. But honestly it wasn't like the high school looking kid manning that ride was measuring kids so she could have snuck in but she would have had a hard time pulling the tubes up the hill anyways... I didn't come across any issues. Any staff we interacted with was nice. No racist profiling. Someone said they didn't like how the corn field was too big and hard to find the exit but we thought it was fun! Someone mentioned not the place for date night, which made me laugh. C'mon this is more for families. My hubs and I wouldn't choose to go here for date night. Lols They could do some better crowd control with the petting zoo when it gets busy though. I walked by and it was crammed full of people. Poor animals! Fun putting with the family and kiddos! Love the fact that the price at the door gets you to experience all the fun and activities on the inside, it's not additional charges to go down a slide or walk a maze LOVE THAT! So it doesn't cost you an arm and leg to have fun w the family, like other farms and there is plenty to keep you active. Lots of good food and deserts to choose from and bev stations, we had the tri tip tots and pulled pork sliders they were delicious and got lemonades which were also great, and came in a reusable cup love that. Staff was all very friendly and welcoming, farm was clean, my only complaint would be it's hard to breathe if ur dust or allergy sensitive.. the dust that kicks up from the train ride and everything, I'd say it's pretty hard to breathe next to the train and maze idk if there's a way can calm the dust but that's my only complaint. It's become a tradition for us to visit farms near by during the fall and this place was on our radar for some time. Finally made it to the farm on the day after the rains. Luckily they were open but we were prepared for some mud. We went on a Sunday and it was crowded, had got the tickets online and that helped us lots of kids activities and it's definitely fun for them. Petting zoo, corn maze, pumpkin patch (couldn't visit due to wet conditions) games and much more. There were food trucks with hotdog, churros, nachos, fries, drinks. There are a few farms in the area that have events for Halloween/Christmas, with Vertuccio being the closest to us so that is the one that we go to a lot. The setup is basically the same every year - slides, jump pads, teeter-totters, animals, wagon/ATV ride, maze, petting zoo, etc. The kids have fun every time we go but after a while as an adult it gets a little old. The lines are really hit-and-miss. One year we went and the ATV ride thing was like a 5min wait. Another year it was a monster line for like an hour. I dont remember what time of year we went (i.e. did we go 4 weekends before the holiday or the weekend prior?) but I am sure that matters. If you can buy tickets in advance and on sale, then this is the way to go. I would not pay door prices. read more

First time coming here Had the worst experience, The moment me and my partner had stepped into the Pumpkin area we were taking pictures and the moment we stepped out we were asked to show our wrist bands, The owner i believe her name was Angela was very rude and aggressive, My partner wrist band had broke off and we had explained the situation politely and she still made a scene still accusing us of stealing/sneaking in and it felt like a racist enter counter. Such a fun place to go. I have gone twice this year, one on a Friday and the other on a Saturday. It gets very busy the later into the evening you get, so I would recommend going earlier and purchasing tickets online. They have a lot of activities to do with young children. They even had a camel you can feed! Overall, it was a really nice time. The only recommendation I have is to bring in funnel cake. Other than that, this place is great. read more

Lights at the Farm Review: With the Pandemic putting everyone's plans on hold, we were searching for some holiday fun in a safe environment but also needed to break the norm. We actually came during October and the kids had a blast so we were expecting something similar for the Lights at the farm. It was last minute so we just paid for tickets at the down. They have plenty of parking and are well organized. Tons of lights and activities throughout the park that were cool to see and for your kids and adults it's entertaining. From making smores (cost extra), photo booth, mazes, and lots of games all around the farm. The funny interesting part was the ice skating. I'm not a skater but the family did it. It's a synthetic surface so imagine a hybrid of roller skating, ice skating, and dry sock sliding... Took them a while to get the hang of it, but it was fun. We came in the evenings and brought our appetite, but unfortunately, none of the food vendors were available. Overall a good experience (a bit far) but it help bond the family!! read more

I went today with my daughter and family, we had a blast! Even though it was busy on a Sunday afternoon - we never waited long for anything. My daughter specifically loved the two large trampolines, the playground, the spider web crawl on, the slide and the corn maze! If we had more time we would have loved to do the train and the larger slide! We all enjoyed lemonade and iced tea and unfortunately there wasn't a lot of food options at the location I picked - they had a soft pretzel and cheese which was the perfect snack before we headed out for dinner. As far as pumpkin patches go in Arizona, Phoenix-area especially, this was so worth the price! We had a great day and everyone was very nice for how busy the whole farm was. I'd recommend this to any family with young children looking for a fun afternoon. I recommend coming early since parking can be tight and certain food vendors may not have a whole lot of variety once the day goes on, but we will be back! read more

My review is for Lights at the Farm only. We purchased our tickets online for the 5:30pm option and showed up with plenty of parking, but a bit of a chaotic line. You have to exchange your online tickets for a stub and then stand in line again to enter- kinda silly. There was a lot to see lights wise and extra items you could purchase such as s'mores and ice skating. I highly recommend bringing a wagon for small children as it can be a lot to walk. There isn't a ton of seating unless you you're eating or making s'mores near the fire. The maze in the back was fun and of course try to make it on a night when Santa is in town! It is very cold and there aren't many heaters, so dress accordingly! I was a bit disappointed at the lack of food options and throwing a bar cart in the mix would be great! We will definitely be back for a good experience at a great price! read more

We were craving some fall fun with the kiddos this year, and ended up choosing Vertuccio Farms because it was close to our friends. While it was a 40 minute drive each way - it was SO worth it!!!! We came on a Thursday evening and I'm so happy that we did because it was pretty busy then, I can't imagine what it's like on weekends. The admission is $12 (2 and under are free) and that covers literally every activity which was incredible! They have adorable photo ops, a pumpkin patch, bounce floors, barrel train ride, petting zoo, interactive games, huge slides, etc. I LOVED that you didn't have to buy individual tickets for each activity. Our almost 3 year old had an absolute blast and didn't want to leave! For food options, the main offerings were hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, soft pretzels and nachos. They had way more toppings and sauces than I expected as well which was great. We ordered hot dogs and they were big and delicious! They also have other vendors serving sweet treats, lemonade, etc. Basic, but enough to feed the fam! I would highly recommend this spot to any family. This is a fun place for kids and families during the holiday seasons. Started by a family who immigrated from Italy, Vertuccio Farms offers affordable family fun. They do a pumpkin patch in the Fall, holiday lights during Christmas, and an Easter egg hunt in the Spring. This place can be fun for adults too. A big group of us came here during Halloween week and wandered around the corn maze in our costumes. We had a lot of fun being big kids while getting lost. I moved to AZ three years ago and this will be our third time coming to Vertuccio! It's only $15 per person which is cheaper than most of the other Halloween activity farm areas. This year I noticed that they added more than the previous years! We went on a Thursday at 330pm and it was pretty packed. My son had an absolute blast as usual. I love that this place has activities for young and older kids. They have plenty of drink and food booths as well. Don't forget to grab some kettle corn too because it's bomb! Vertuccio Farms has become a lovely annual excursion for our family every fall season after discovering them a few years ago. Despite inflation, they've managed to keep prices fairly reasonable while sacrificing nothing in experience. This year, we brought my friend and her son visiting from out of town with us. Altogether, admission, after the $2 reduced price for our non-perishable food donation for each person in attendance, was about $100 for all 7 of us. The woman at the gate heartily thanked us for our food donations upon entry, citing how much good they would do for those in need. Little touches like these remind you of the value of human kindness and taking the time to share words of appreciation for one another. Almost every attraction is covered in the price of admission, save a few things that cost a couple of extra dollars. Food trucks onsite offer a variety of options, and we were able to purchase meals ( burger or hot dog, drink, and chips) for about $8.50 per person- still not much more than McDonald's and the food was hearty and satisfying (they used good quality Costco products). We went this year (mid-October 2024) at about noon and unfortunately it was still very hot in the 90s. The heat became unbearable within a little over an hour, but we cooled off with some delicious snow cones at about $7 a pop and well worth it. If I could recommend any improvement, it would be to incorporate a few more attractions with a water element to cool down during the day for those who attend in the daytime hours. Otherwise, I would urge you to go at night when it's a lot cooler, especially with kids, to get max enjoyment and bang for your buck. The fenced in location feels safe and manageable for kids that want to run around and be free. The customer service at the exit gate was also amazing, with 2 young ladies that helped us pick and purchase our kettle corn and small pumpkins and thanked us profusely for supporting the business. I would highly recommend Vertuccio farms to families looking to have some affordable fall fun! read more

So glad we decided on Vertuccio! A lot of people suggested Schneph but it seemed like it would be too crowded. The prices were even better at Vertuccio and you don't pay extra for everything. It cost our family of 4, $40 to get in. My girls were able to enjoy ziplines, jumping pads, slides, animals and much more. They had 2 types of rides, one carriage pulled by horses and one cow ride. They had 2 mazes, one cornfield and a pallet one for younger kids. They had barrel races as you enter, pumpkin painting, and balloon maker (which was free. They did suggest a tip but was not mandatory). We decided to eat there because my girls were hungry and we only paid $15 for 3 meals, that included a drink and chips for two of them. All in all $60 for the day that included waters and tip. Here's a tip...you can bring in a cooler with food to save money. We seen tons of families with wagons and food and drinks for the kids. I really liked to go see holiday lights. I went to the Vertuccio Farms and there were some pretty cool aspects to it. First of all, the lights were timed to the music. I also was able to go after the holidays, so it wasn't so crowded. I liked that there was not a lot of people there. This enabled me to have the chance to take pictures without people being in the way. Since is is a farm, it did smell like farm animals. You could see some chickens, a donkey, a cow, and some rabbits in the dark although the main attraction was the lights. I really liked a couple of the lights. Number 1, the ones that were blinking really quickly and number 2, the pathway that was like a long corridor. Other than that, it was similar to Zoolights, but on a much smaller scale. I think that it is good to go see the lights at Vertuccio Farms at least once. read more

A group of us family members went there to see the Christmas lights before Christmas and the parking lot was packed to the back. It's definitely way more child focused, with smaller attractions and not too much for the adults to do. I had high expectations as we went to another farms lights last year and we were blown away by those! There are not too many options for those of us in the far East valley, but it's worth a stop. Hopefully Vertuccio Farms will be able to grow each year so they can add more and more lights over the years. read more

Went for the Christmas lights. Pretty cool little place! They have plenty of lovely places to take pictures, including ornaments that you can have your little ones run through! There is a nativity and occasionally a hymn so if you're sensitive to religious content there is some but very little. They have a cool fire pit area where you can roast smores, which I thought was a fun idea. A few different food and drink booths. Some days they even have a Santa for Santa pictures. They also have a ping pong table but I'm not aware of how to play that without cups of beer...so I didn't participate but overall pretty cool. Probably more fun for people with kids then people without. Also it is dog friendly but some dog owners are not responsible so beware of dog pee on hay bales or things you sit on. read more
