An old fashioned fruit orchard shop with lots of citrus but only open during winter as the business is seasonal. Also, they are never open on Sundays. They also sell various other items such as honey, jelly and Cerritos chocolates, which are wonderful. The business is family owned and friendly. Parking can be a problem when they are busy. read more

I've had oranges in so many different parts of the world but the oranges from BB citrus farm is hands down, the best oranges I've ever had in my entire life! What really surprises me is this is produced in the desert! How? I was introduced to this farm by my father in law when I first moved to Arizona 4 years ago. He's been their loyal customer for years and I know why! Owners are friendly, produce is fresh and delicious and the prices are super cheap! I've been buying my oranges and lemons from this farm ever since the and have never been disappointed. Their produce lasts for a very long time too. A lot of people (like me and family) buy boxes of lemons and juice them to freeze them and use them in the summer, when 1 lemon costs c75! They are open after thanksgiving and stay open until they run out (I believe). They're open all week except Sunday. Since they only opened the day after thanksgiving, their lemons were still green so I only bought some naval oranges and clementines. I will be going back to buy lemons soon. They make the yummiest lemonade! I hope they will stay open for many years to come because in my opinion, they are the best! read more

The citrus farm phone recording says they are open Monday through Saturday from 9-5. Their oranges are like candy sweet and the juice oranges are very juicy and good. The Mexican restaurant in their parking lot makes this a great outing and their food is delicious! A phone call and verified they are OPEN and plan to be through the first week of March! read more

I did not purchase anything from the store but I did spend a substantial amount of time looking at the produce. They had quite a few different types of citrus and the prices were reasonable. There was also local honey, candies, nuts, and free samples! It's a very open feel to the place and smells like a citrus grove...go figure. YEAH!! My favorite citrus stand is open as of today for the season. They grow oranges, grapefruit, lemons, all are delicious. They also carry local candies, syrups. I've been a loyal customer for years. They have THEE BEST CITRUS! The customer service is also amazing and they are are friendly. My usual routine is right as I enter the store, I head straight to the orange samples, stand there and clean them out until they replenish. I come every orange season to purchases boxes of oranges to take with me when I travel, one year I didn't come until the very last day. The owner said they were worried about me cause I never showed up. lol! All the other places that sell oranges don't compare cause their citrus isn't as sweet. TWO THUMBS UP!! We lived in Arizona and moved away for my husband to attend college and them jobs also took us out of the state. Visiting from California for the holidays we stopped and bought 40 lbs of navel oranges to take back with us. As we drove, we (two sons and mother and father) ate the oranges all the way back. We ate most of them. We later moved Houston and then Canton, Ohio. I now order two of the big boxes of navel oranges for the holidays. They are to die for. There is something in the soil in East Mesa that makes a difference. Having lived there, if you buy baby trees at the nursery and plant west of Mesa, they taste different than East Mesa. I know. My father planted citrus out about half way between Bush Hiway and Apache Junction. Looking forward to buying again his December. read more

Just called hoping they would be open for Thanksgiving and heard that they aren't opening until December. Darn, I really wanted to take some citrus up to Taos for Thanksgiving. We are really looking forward to and will be standing at the door on opening day hoping they have lots of Oro Blanco grapefruit. Yes, the oranges are out of this world big, sweet and just might be life changing, but the Oro Blanco's are even better, The fruit has a similar taste to the scent of its flowers, lacks the bitterness associated with grapefruits and is rather sweet, even when the outer peel is still green. The Oro Blanco was patented by the University of California in 1981 and was developed in a nine-year project that began in 1958. We were in Mesa AZ over the Christmas and new Years we stopped at this fruit stand and found the best citrus in town. We bought home a few different citrus products along with some pistachios the best we has tasted. I love grapefruits and the lady working said I needed to sample the sweetest grapefruit and it was. I purchased 20 of them and purchased 20 med. oranges as they say. And brought them home to Washington State. All of it was gone within the week. I thought I would find this place online not knowing the name of the place I did a google map and located the place. I just ordered on the phone for them to ship citrus to me. The Grapefruits that I had bought will not be out until Dec to Feb. but was able to purchase the Med. Oranges and 2 pounds of pistachios. If you have never tasted oranges from an orange grove you are missing out. They taste nothing like the produce you get in the store. Today TY helped me over the phone and was very nice and very helpful. I look forward to my box arriving next week. read more

While visiting our daughter's family the week between Christmas and New Years' we happened upon B&B. To say that they were amazingly juicy and and meaty oranges is an understatement. A lovely family was there to make sure our 3 year old grandson and 5 year old grandson understood where oranges came from. They both said they didn't like oranges.
