We got our usual list and walked feet out the door to get into our truck, i opened the carton of eggs and one of them was cracked, no big deal. I brought the eggs back inside (immediately) to ask for a different carton. I was greeted with the older woman (with glasses) at the front immediately upset and passive aggressive stating "well i hope you know i checked them and it was not cracked so be more careful"(in a clearly condescending tone), i respond with "im sorry? i just walked out and right back in and it was cracked?" she then says "yeah well no it wasn't so be more careful this time thanks", i then leave. I really hope whoever manages this market to ensure she does not speak to another customer they way she did to me today. We will no longer be visiting, there are plenty of farmers markets.

I do miss it being at Pioneer Park, though the park wasn't perfect, it was a lovely spot. That being said, downtown location isn't too far from its original spot. The market feature a few various produce stands, bread and lots of food or self care options. I prefer the more artsy stands myself, but still like checking it out every few weeks. All the local vendors are friendly, showcase great items and though you could check it all out in 30 or so minutes it's a great way to start a Saturday morning.

On 2nd Wednesdays are Farmer's Market Nights called "Agritopia Farm Night", which is a big event here, from 5-8 (Sept to May, no Jan). Parking is everywhere. In front of The Coffee Shop, behind The Coffee Shop, next to The Farm Store, Garage East, and near Joe's Farm Grill. On a Sunday in September, there was parking and we were walk-ins everywhere. It was nice to find both, a seat and a place to park. Only a walk a way in Epicenter is Buck & Rider, UnderTow, Bunky Boutique, and Peixoto. Warm in September, wear a hat and stay hydrated.

We arrived, saw the no-dogs sign, and then saw that the market was set up on hot asphalt in the sun, so we turned around and left. I love the Agritopia Farm Store! It's a great spot to visit while at Agritopia, featuring lots of…read morelocal goods from trinkets, stickers, t-shirts, toys, books, food items and they even have a refillery section for some selfcare products. I often visit them for gifts or when I have visitors in town to get a nice line up of local Phoenix/Arizona artisan offerings. It's not big by any means, but they pack a lot of quality items into it's small footprint. They've evolved a lot of the years from a honor type system with smaller offerings, to a staffed and larger selection of goods. They are consistently open, which is great because a lot of the store in Agritopia are hit or miss, and the Farm Store never lets me down! Their prices do to be expected for such a curated store, but not much more than what equivalent items would be priced. It's a great stop if you're looking for a souvenir, gift, want to treat yourself or just want to support local!
