So cool and so cute! They have almost everything here! There was a couple tables on the inside to sit and enjoy your candy and the design of the inside and all the murals was so fun! I will definitely be back anytime we are in the area!!

What a cute candy shop!!! It totally gave me that Alice in Wonderland/Willy Wonka theme! There were a lot of different varieties of candies, chocolate and even Dipping Dot ice cream. The lady working the register was very sweet and helpful checking us out ! Definitely a cute shop to check out, whether you're young or old!

Super fun interior, love it, walk in you can smell all the sweet treats and visualize all the fun wall art and different candies or fun toys, and tons of cute photo opportunities every where. Service is welcoming. Some candies were little high priced but affordable.

The cutest candy shop I've seen. Alice in Wonderland theme. There's tons of choices of bulk candy and individually wrapped candy. You can also get matcha Kit Kats that are imported from Japan and cannot find almost anywhere else- my husband used to live in Japan and was very excited about this. They also have plenty of fun and cute photo-ops inside the store. Make sure to not pass by this one!

I could have spent all day in here. The Alice in Wonderland decor and theme is top tier! Such fun candy options and the nicest people working there. They haven't been there long but I hope they are there for a while!!

I found the name of this place when I was helping my son plan his daughter's sweet 16 in March of 2025. We didn't end up going here at that time but I did put it on my "list of places to go" and today was the day! When I located it off Main Street in downtown Mesa I got excited. But the quickly realized, oh man I have to parallel park? ... took me back to my driving test at 16 years of age for sure! But I did it! Right in front of the store! Happy girl here! When you walk in the ambiance of this place is sooo awesome! Everything catches your eye. From the Mad Candy selfie chair to your right and the another to your left! It was awesome. The staff greeted me with a kind hello and beautiful smile. I'm loving it so far. As I walked through the store I catch myself saying "no way, they have these candies?" and just in awe of the goodness available. I seen the rubix cube candy tin and immediately said, yep I need one. As I browsed around I just kept smiling because they have candy that took me back to my childhood. Like the candy sticks!! My dad would take us kids out for ride and we always got some candy sticks and those never ending jaw breakers. I highly recommend Mad Candy! You will NOT be disappointed.

There are two entrances for MadCandy. One entrance is located along Main and the other is in the back facing a parking lot. I was attracted to the graffiti walls featuring Alice in Wonderland and the Mad Hatter. You feel as if you're entering a fantasyland as you go into the back door. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Walls and walls ofcandy, some seating areas and photo opportunities. A nice vibe to be welcomed to. Free street and lot parking.

Was walking by and saw this shop on Saturday. Super cute! Love the Alice and the Wonderland theme! They had a lot of different candies and the displays are super cute! My daughter loved it! Wish I took more pictures of the candies!

No time to say goodbye, HELLO! I'm late, I'm late, I'm late! Today I walked into the pink door at Mad Candy and loved every sugary minute. Who knew Dr Pepper Cotton Candy is freaking delicious?! What a fun spot! If you park in the lot behind the building you get such a fun experience while checking out an awesome mural. Once through the pink door you'll enjoy a few more quirky things on the walls and start your candy journey. While some of the candy items are pretty basic; there are some old school items from abba zabbas as well as specialty sodas. I love the many instagram worthy photo spots. Prices are a little high, but it's a specialty shop and those who find this place are here for fun too!

This is the coolest little candy shop in downtown Mesa. When you go through the bright pink door, it is like a colorful candy land. There is even a corner dedicated to Willy Wonka. Make sure you go to the back hallway to see the awesome art. There are all kinds of candy, both commercially packages and bulk. We got some bulk peach rings and malted milk balls. But they were not your average malted milk balls--these were covered with a cherry chocolate and SOOOO much better than the boxed kind. Like little balls of heaven.

Per the owners request I'm updating my review to how I really feel. The store is more dimly lit then a Spencer's Gifts in the mall, what main portion of the store is big brown bins of I dunno what because there are no signs, absolutely no effort in trying to make this, the biggest area of the store special at all. The little areas on the sides do have some cute interest points but what does have signage are hundreds of percent over what you can buy at other retailers. I'm all for supporting local but not for being ripped off just because it's local owned. The store experience was very much like the Willy Wonka Experience in the UK even the employee was that enthused to be there. You would think a week after a highly advertised Grand Opening there would at least be signs and prices. I fail to see how knowing the price of something is an unrealistic expectation.

I visited yesterday 2/16/19. This store is FANTASTIC! I wish I were fluent in Spanish because I…read morewould write this entire review that way. I was planning to run to Party City for a piñata, but wasn't thrilled with their online selections so I googled "piñatas in Mesa AZ" and this place came up. I am SO glad I decided to come here! I purchased the most incredible piñata for a 50th birthday party I was attending the same evening. The store has so many unique, interesting and delicious things to put inside a piñata. They also carry bulk cotton candy (for cotton candy martinis of course) and different flavored takis that I haven't seen in my regular grocery store. (Takis are my favorite!). The employees were so friendly and helpful. After I purchased all of my items they even offered to help me stuff my piñata. I also checked in on yelp beforehand and got a free ice cream. I didn't take it as I wasn't in the mood for ice cream at the time, but next time I will make darn sure I get one. You can buy a custom piñata of your choice, although it is a two week wait time but I am sure it is worth the wait, as the stocked piñatas were absolutely incredible and so reasonably priced. I had the best time looking around the entire store and buying candies and treats I had never even seen or heard of in my life up until that point. I highly recommend this local business for your party supplies. I now plan to make the piñata my go to party favor from now on, especially since I can get a custom, special order of anything I want. Behind the register was a custom ordered Easter Bunny that I literally could hide in!! My pineapple was pretty incredible too. My only advice, now that I learned the hard way, is, since the piñatas are so large, they get heavy very fast. So keep that in mind when filling them. Also, fill the piñata with the heaviest items first because when you hang it, you don't want soft items to get squished. This won't be a problem for the average piñata stuffin person, but of course I'm weird and decided to stuff my piñata with cotton candy, rochere chocolates, and small bottles of alcohol. Like a dumbass I put the cotton candy in first. Anyway!!! I love this store and I am so glad I googled and found it! PS, don't forget your piñata stick!

I'll start this by saying I've always come here for my party supplies however, I'll be going…read moreelsewhere with my time and money. On 7/21 I purchased a $9.99 balloon bundle. Four latex balloons and a pokemon foil. I explained I won't be needed them until 7/28 and if I could come back then and fill them, the boy said that was fine and I happily paid for the helium. Total came to $45 and change. I took my balloons and returned today, 7/28 to have them filled. I was met with a 16-18 yr old girl who told me she couldn't fill my balloons because I didn't pay and the foil would be $8.99 and the latex would be about $8 for the four. I explained I paid for the balloons and helium on 7/21. She then told me the boy ( also 16-18 yrs old with his hoodie over his head and a headphone in his ears) misinformed me and that she couldn't do it unless I paid. She offered to refund the balloons but stated if I repurchased them she still couldn't fill them for me. $45 wasted. My place of employment uses this place for our office parties and such and unfortunately we have all decided to take our business elsewhere. My son does not have his 4yr old birthday balloons and they're fine just taking peoples money. Sad.
