We have so many options on where to shop and the products we offer. We are so lucky because if you travel internationally you will notice no other countries offer as much as we do. I like options and I like variety but most of all I like saving my money so I shop sales. I make my meal prep for the week based on what's on sale. Albertsons hands down beats pricing on meat, when on sale, vs Bashas and Frys. Chicken Breasts, Petite Sirloin Steaks and Ground Beef is usually on sale depends on the week. If you download their app or go on their website you can clip digital coupons for more savings. When on sale their vegetables and fruits are amazingly priced but regular prices are on the higher end. They have special sales on Fridays where seafood is discounted. Between work and school I usually buy their fried chicken from the deli and freeze it and then my son just air fries it. It's better, bigger and cheaper than fast food chicken restaurants. I also love their cole slaw not as liquidy and sweet as the prepackaged ones. Store is always clean, organized and well stocked. I like Albertsons overall and I'm glad there's one near me. This location is spacious, clean, and has a wide variety of grocery, bakery, and more to explore. I like that they are associated with Safeway as well since the deals and coupons at one location are basically the same at the other sister store. I also love their food deals in the weekly mailers and some of them go fast (of course). I find that they have some of the best deals around. I recommend. read more

Stopped in here to pick up some corn that was on sale for a weekend picnic. 8 ears of corn for a dollar and it was delicious! Tender and sweet just the way corn should be. Back to the review of the storethough. I think this chain in general might be one of the more overpriced grocery stores in the valley. If you're not buying something on sale there you are paying way more than you should typically. Another thing, it was about 12:00 p.m. on a Saturday afternoon and the store was pretty crowded and they had one check out open. The self checkouts were open but there is one check out with a person working at it. I think they opened another one because they saw how many people were standing in the line that I was in. Unfortunately all you can say about Albertsons is that it is probably a good store for running in to get that one item that you needed but you better really plan your shopping a little more carefully so that you can save some money at other stores. read more

Francisca at the customer service counter is an absolute terrible person the way she talks to her coworkers and treats customers is absolutely unacceptable. had a simple return and she made me feel like I was stealing something ended up giving me a gift card which is fine. So later, as I'm doing my shopping I forgot bread which is located by the front door as I make my way back to the entrance guess who run into Francisca she stares at me like I'm about to run out of the store and the only thing in my basket is two 24 packs of water. Hope she can retire soon and be miserable at home by herself instead of trying to ruin others day. read more

We love this location. Specifically, the deli. Always fast and friendly service. We only get our lunch meats from this counter as I know they will always slice the meat as thin as we need without a hassle. The cashiers are also kind with a good attitude. read more

It's so bad I've started to take pictures of the items so when the discount doesn't appear, I can show the person at checkout so they can adjust it. This review is for the Pharmacy over the weekend of July 8,9 2023 On Sat July 8th neither the Rx tech or the Asian lady pharmacist would make a simple phone call to their other location so that I could get one of my drugs filled. Just because both of them speak some version of English does not mean that they will actually listen to the customer without letting them finish what they have to say. Absolutely horrible people & customer service skills from both of them. So I stop by in person on Sun July 9th with paper in hand proving my point that one of my prescriptions should be filled and a different pharmacist would also not make a simple phone call to their other location to verify what I was saying to her. And to think that the paper that you give customers with their filled Rx's says "WE ARE HERE TO HELP" .... read more

I get home and am making my salad and go to open the top when I see the "best used by" date of September 2018! Not worth the trek back to the store to return. I go here because the one closed that I used to go to in Tempe. I love the people the manager Jerry and all the workers are great! Entire Staff are Absolutely lovely and wonderful helpful kind. The store itself is old!, it doesn't have enough stuff in it and lastly everything is locked up!!!!! You can't get anything in the make up department & more!! You have to go get somebody to unlock it and then they do FINALLY they bring it up front! Then by the time you're finished shopping you totally forget about it! I really like the store since the remodel. Overall great prices if you get what is on sale in the flyer. If you stray off that then you can end up spending way way more than you planned. The more "specialty" items tend to get pricey here and you'd be better off get those things at a Trader Joe's or elsewhere. The deli service has always been hit and miss for me but the prices are are much better than some of the other close grocery stores so it's still pretty worth it. read more

Albertson's...it's your store! I come here at least once a week, as it is conveniently located by Dobson Ranch and where I do my quick shopping, Red Box runs, fill my prescriptions, and do banking with Wells Fargo. The employees are always friendly. The pros: great prices, always fresh produce with a decent organic selection, and an overall easy store layout. The bakery has the most delicious cakes and my daughter gets a free cookie whenever she asks. The deli has great sales, yummy chicken wings, and also a whole rotisserie chicken for $5. Liquor and beer selection is great and the prices are cheaper than Costco or Sam's when they run sales! The pharmacy staff is very helpful and quick. They have a blood pressure machine for you to use, and usually there is never a line, so my blood pressure is always good haha! Wells Fargo is always a pleasure to deal with, they have the sweetest bank tellers, and it's less crowded than going to a main branch. I opened a junior checking account for my daughter there, so they can definitely do everything the regular WF banks can do. I love their seasonal specials, they always have beautiful florals and sweets for every occasion. They are my late night run for popcorn and a movie at the Red Box. Dang, I really do come here a lot! The cons: the building itself is old and the exterior is in dire need of a paint job. A lot of people smoke and loiter by the entrance, and their is a crazy amount of old gum on the sidewalk by the entrance. It drives me nuts! I feel like if they spruced the place up a bit, it would deter vagrants from hanging out under the awning by the entrance, which we have complained about before (swiftly addressed by the GM). The only good thing about this place being a little run down is that I don't feel bad about coming here in my pajamas lol Overall, I do love my local Albertson's. read more

This is our go to grocery store as it's conveniently located near our house. Layout- 4 stars. Typical Albertsons layout. Wells Fargo Bank- 5 stars. Another convenience is banking at Wells Fargo and having it in our go to grocery store. The bank by far has way more tellers than the grocery store and no waiting like at BOA I used to bank at. Indoor ATM I use and skip the counter. Customer Service- 5 stars. I've always received friendly, courteous help from the baggers to the butcher. The GM's will come out and open lanes when packed and always jovial. Cleanliness- 5 stars. I hate to say it but I do judge a store by cleanliness of bathrooms especially anyplace dealing with food I may eat. Always clean. The store is well kept and orderly. Pharmacy- NA. It's in the store but I've never got a prescription from. But they always have 2-3 people working. Bakery- 5 stars. I love their pies. Can't comment on anything else. Deli- 5 stars. We get all our sandwich meat and cheese here. Adequate help and usually no wait. They will suggest sales on other brands of meat and nail my requests to within +/- .02 lbs every time. Butcher- 5 stars. We do buy the chicken breasts and bratwurst here frequently. Again, Fast and friendly service. Checkout- 2 stars. This is my only complaint with the store. They seemed to take a cue from Wal-Mart and never have enough checkout lanes open. Frustrating when you are buying a couple items and you are waiting in line for 10 minutes. Hope they take a cue from other stores and install self checkout lanes. read more

My son saw this cake in the display last week and begged for it for his birthday. I called yesterday evening and they made it white cake with strawberries in the middle and whipped cream frosting! And they said they could have it ready by today at 5pm! It was delicious and you'd never know it was that on the inside! I went to this store on a whim, I was close, I needed a few things, so I pulled in. Never again!! Walking in the one and only electric scooter by the carts was held together with duct tape, thank God I was walking! I feel bad for who ever had to use that to get around. Immediately upon entering I heard a loud conversation, not bad, just loud. It was two male employees talking about their nightly exploits. Definitely not a conversation for the front of the store. The prices here are outrageous! I know prices are high, but these are beyond anything I have seen anywhere else! And the quality was crap! I got two bags of chips and a bag of pretzels and all three were absolute crumbs!! Worst shopping experience ever! read more

But, now that I've been here a bunch and use it as an actual grocery store, seeking meats and bread and jam and produce and all the things that make every day eating possible, I've gotten a better feel for things. It's just a little disjointed for my taste. The pharmacy is off in this little corner with all the pharmacy products. And what's up with the peanut butter? And the fruit juice? They just seen to be oddly placed, and the peanut butter and honey is off in its own lonely little planet. This is still a fine place to shop for your groceries, but it always seems to take me just a little too long. So it's not my number one choice. read more

I am very disappointed with my flower purchase here for Mother's Day. I bought this beautiful bouquet of roses on Friday afternoon and by Sunday morning for Mother's Day my flowers looked terrible. This store has good prices on many things, some much cheaper than Safeway and others equal to Fry's. It all depends on what you're shopping for. I prefer Fry's in my area of town though because the Albertson's by me ALWAYS smells like rotten fish and enough to make me hurl. This location just happens to be by my friend's apartment so whenever we need something we just run in here and get the items. Very easy to get in and out of and very good customer service. read more

This store has a lot of long time employees. It's nothing fancy but it has everything I need. They have good deals on meats. Buy one get one free and sometimes buy one get two free. The store could be a little bit more organized. I'm still getting used to the newest remodel where they moved the lunch meat and cheeses to a middle isle. This location was recommended to me by my hairdresser. I hadn't been in an Albertsons in years, but I was so impressed by the store, its cleanliness, and most importantly their employees. Tanner was so friendly and helpful when I asked him a couple of times where specific items were. Debbie, in the deli was such a sweetheart, so outgoing, and she directed me to an item I am in love with now-the cranberry jalapeno dip with cranberry and pumpkin seed crackers. They are delicious, and I never would have looked at these items without her. I will be using this store from now on, and I will tell my friends about the store. I felt so good being in that store. It's fine for a huge grocery store but I still prefer the smaller stores like Trader Joe's, Fresh and Easy, Sprouts, etc. My daughter and I have come in here about three times since I've been in town to use my Wells Fargo account to cash her work checks. It's handy that they have the satellite branch of WF inside the Albertsons. read more
