Five stars, and honestly it's not even a debate. This is my go-to Costco whenever I'm out in Arizona. We've got a second home nearby, so this place ends up being part grocery run, part "how did I just spend that much" experience every single time. This last trip was a perfect example. I walked in thinking I'd grab a couple things and walked out with a garage-ready refrigerator, a matching freezer, a rack for smoking ribs, and of course a few racks of ribs to justify the purchase. It escalates quickly in there. The store itself is exactly what you want from a Costco. Clean, well-stocked, and organized enough that you don't feel like you're navigating chaos. The staff has always been solid too. Friendly, helpful, and they actually seem willing to point you in the right direction instead of just gesturing vaguely across the warehouse. Parking, surprisingly, has never been a headache for me. For how busy this location gets, it moves. People cycle in and out fast enough that you're not circling forever like a shark. And yeah, it's a busy spot. No getting around that. But after a couple visits, you kind of find your rhythm and it stops feeling overwhelming. Prices are what keep pulling me back. You walk in for paper towels and leave questioning your life choices but also feeling like you somehow still got a deal. It's dangerous in the best way. Bottom line, if you're anywhere near Tempe and need to stock up, this place delivers every time. Just maybe bring a bigger vehicle than you think you need. read more

It's hard to find a parking space here. The parking spaces are small. Would be nice if they built a garage nearby so more people can park there. They have samples, but seems like they have to get them ready slowly. Costco pizza is alright. They also sell hot dogs and Churrro. read more

Because I live in Casa Grande, I hit the various Costco stores in the Valley based on errands needed. I'm not as familiar with this store layout so I ended up doing a couple of laps to find everything. I asked a few employees for directions and they were very helpful. Wednesdays at 4:00 was a good time to go - not as busy. Found everything I needed and was done in less than an hour. This is a good representation of the brand. read more

Great store to have membership. This store is always stocked very well with all the bulk items you love and enjoy. Con is prob with every Costco is that it is always busy unless you go very early or very late before closing. Great affordable gas just be patient and know you'll be waiting for the cheaper gas. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. To the manager of this store I hope you take a moment to shadow Frieda the cashier. She was the most unprofessional person I have ever met. I don't expect much other than simple manners. I am more than willing to drive to another cities Costco so I don't even have the chance of crossing her path again. Unpleasant recent shopping experience at this Costco location. - I wanted sushi, with variety, but passed on that since the offerings only had salmon and no tuna. - I'm waiting in line with my single item. There is a person behind me with an overflowing shopping cart, and an employee directed that person, not me, to a shorter line. I did something wrong? - After waiting in my line, the cashier rang up my item and then started ringing up the items of the person behind me. I had to wait to get that corrected. - Got a hot dog at the busy food court. Going to the table to join my wife, a guy bumped into me. He did say excuse me, but it felt like being in a feeding frenzy. I don't need or want that to save a few bucks. - Couldn't find napkins and had to go back to the counter THREE times for help finding some. Despite having paid for membership, it will be a while before I want to go near a Costco again. I'm a Sam's Club member too, and have never had a bad experience shopping at a Sam's Club. read more

Call it Disneyland for adults, merchandise mart for entrepreneurs, the arena for shopaholics, fantasyland for product bingers... you name it, it's Costco. We've been shopping this particular store for over a decade, and it never ceases to amaze me. This billion-dollar mega vendor has every giant box retailer beat by far! The variety, pretty consistent stock, width of aisles, multitude of registers, and even eclectic. Sometimes you'll find products from nowhere else. Sometimes you find you can't get that product you got last month again. Darn! We've done the gamut at Costco - from a massive patio umbrella to incredible outdoor grill, from quantity groceries to outstanding jewelry, from travel arrangements to vehicles, from groceries to office supplies, and seasonal items from Easter to Christmas... it there! Plus, the staff is fantastic and well managed. In the years of purchasing with them, I have yet to have had an issue. They are nice, considerate, knowledgeable, ethical, helpful and much, much more. Costco really gets it right with their staff. Whether I'm at the returns counter, checking out, or even just in the parking lot, the employees are remarkably kind and proactive. I love how the cart assistants go out of their way to see if I need help loading my items. You can tell the employees here are treated well because it reflects in their amazing service. I love coming to this Costco! The parking lot is the only part that is a hassle here. The way the parking lot is set up it is not the most easily navigable. Coming when they first open or the last hour they are open are the best times. The staff here is always friendly. The prices are great for the most part! We buy most of our meat here and it's a good deal! We buy in bulk and freeze wheat we won't use immediately. The rotisserie chicken is also a steal and is always hot and fresh! Can't beat the $1.50 hotdog combo either! And Costco just switched back to Coke products as well! This is my go to Costco in the Phoenix area! read more

This is a typical Costco located on the SE corner of Elliott and Priest. It is across Elliott from Walmart. There is a tire center and gas station. Gas is typically very crowded on the weekend. Best times to get gas is before 8am on the weekdays. The warehouse is crowded on weekends as well, not as bad as the one near Chandler Fashion Mall. A new addition is the Kewpie Mayo which is what is used to make spicy tuna sushi (see photo). read more

It's Costco! Who doesn't love Costco? Haters. Only haters. Seriously though, I think a lot of people only review places like this when they're unhappy with something. Yes, everything is giant and the parking is nuts. The gas lines are long. BUT, everything you buy is almost always great quality, including the gas. And sometimes there are snacks while you shop! Er, samples. Whatever. If I met someone who had never been to Costco before, I'd tell them not to skip the clothes, definitely grab a chicken, and make sure to walk down all the aisles. You never know what new fun item will show up! And the produce is really great. Costco makes the majority of its money through it's branded Kirkland products (which are generally really good!) and membership fees, so prices are great. And the employees are always so nice! Omgeee, everyone knows Costco on the weekends is crazy, but desperate times! So I had to get my pets medication from the pharmacy as well as pick up my glasses/contacts from the optical department! It was a Saturday 10 mins. before they close at 6 p.m. found parking and rushed to the pharmacy. Picked up my dogs allergy meds. which is only $63 for a months supply. Cheaper than the vet or chewy! So definitely recommend getting pet meds from Costco. Then to the optical department, rushed there got my two pairs of glasses cause they are buy a pair get a pair 1/2 off! Also my contacts were cheaper than online, which is Biofinity Toric! If you know, you know not a cheap pair of contact brand. After getting my items, I rushed to the back to get my 5 dozen eggs. Since they were closing there were two workers keeping guest from going past them. So, I asked the worker "Chris" could he get me a flat of eggs & also my iced Starbucks coffee (two pack)! He did & I was so thankful! All the workers here have always been super friendly! This is one of my favorite Costco's to go to! read more

Where Bulk Dreams Come True. Stepping into Costco is like entering a wonderland of oversized everything. Need a 72-pack of muffins or a tub of cookie dough big enough to swim in? Costco's got you. The free samples alone are worth the trip--I've turned shopping into a five-course meal more than once. Navigating those gigantic aisles with a cart the size of a small car is part of the fun. And the employees? Saints in red vests, always ready to help you find that industrial-sized jar of pickles you didn't know you needed. I did have a hard time finding the cold brew, but they ended up being on the pharmacy wall. Sorta odd. Checkout is a blur of efficiency, leaving you marveling at how you just bought a kayak, a diamond ring, and a year's supply of cereal in one go. Costco: chaotic, wonderful, and totally worth it. Just kidding, I didn't buy these, but I have been eying a patio living set, which has a pretty price tag of $4000. Purchased tires for almost $3000.00 Scheduled appointment and still waited 3 hrs. Then finally when we went inside after the car had been sitting there finished for over a half hour with no call. Unorganized! The workers wouldn't even assist a female to take off battery from her car. Instead they gave her a tool and said to take it out herself. Luckily my husband was with me and helped her, shame on you men!!!! read more

This Costco is pretty great. Most of the Costcos are. I don't think that there is too much variation between the stores. I do think that there are slight layout differences but overall the same. I like the samples that they give out sometimes so I know if I want to buy a huge quantity of something. I don't like the crowds around the sample stations though. Their muffins are pretty good. I like the cakes that are made. They are nice since it makes it easy to purchase for the office. When they have food courts, the pizza and the ice cream are good. I like the pizza best hot. I had the cold pizza before and it didn't taste good. Then again what food tastes good when it was originally warm? The checkout lines can get crazy. I am sure it depends on the time and day but Costco is usually super busy! The parking lot can get scary with so many cars and people. read more

I met with a Costco Flooring (Shaw) contact person on Tuesday, 1/16/25 at about 3 p.m. to set up an appointment for a free, no obligation in-home flooring consultation and within minutes of giving him my Costco Card and other personal information (name, address, telephone #, email address), I received a text from a 754 area code thanking me for requesting information and advising that if I hadn't already been contacted to set up the in-house consultation, I would be contacted by one of their service providers. It's been over a week and NOTHING! No calls, texts, emails or other contacts. Checking in to the number associated with the initial text comes back with nothing of value although I did text back on the original contact advising that I'd not been contacted since that initial text. Nothing has been received to move forward on scheduling this in-home consultation as of today, 1/24/25, 4:30 p.m. If this is the quality of service provided by a contracted business to Costco, I'M NOT IMPRESSED! I'm seriously considering contacting another vendor who is not part of the Costco provider network. A sad, bad reflection on Costco in not --- or having their selected service provider--living up to expected, anticipated customer service expectations. Some other company is most likely going to have a multi-thousand $ contract should we decide to go ahead with our flooring project. read more

I do not recommend Costco's Rotisserie Chicken. Costco has changed the company that was seasoning their $4.99 rotisserie chicken leaving the chicken very bland tasting as if it wasn't seasoned at all! They've also changed their packaging to inconvenient bags where you have to reach into the bag to lift the chicken out getting your hand full of grease leaving the customer with nothing to save their leftovers. Today I just purchased a Rotisserie Chicken at Sam's Club for the same price, perfectly seasoned and placed in the plastic packaging that Costco downsized from. Just saying. read more

What's there to say? I mean it's a Costco, the parking lot is slammed with cars parking and leaving, people walking everywhere. Ultimate though the inside, just like all Costcos is super clean, shelves are packed, clothes are constantly being refolded after annoying customers mess them up and drop em back on the table. Delicious and cheap food at the Food Court up front. I went in to just verify my new membership card and take the photo, whole process took maybe 2 minutes? Who doesn't love groceries at wholesale prices? Costco will always be packed and difficult to find parking, but that's a part of the experience. We come here weekly and it's definitely a better experience during the weekdays. Sometimes they run out of what we are looking for such as heavy cream or sparkling water but it is what it is. I have ALWAYS entered through the exit to go to the food court and still proud fully show my Costco card without an issue. Today, I went about my business being screamed at that I needed to enter through the main entrance, which if I wasn't talked to so disrespectfully, I would have had no issue doing, but the oh so rude man at the exit door made me feel so belittled. Even the nice older lady exiting mentioned he needed to learn to talk to people. Had no issue taking my business elsewhere. And did not shop at Costco today. Not that the corporation care but my goodness, you pay your employees enough to at least have them have some respect towards paying members as I am also an Ex Costco employee. read more

Have loved Costco since my first visit. There is new packaging of the hearing aids which I appreciate EXCEPT for the fact that the button batteries are nearly impossible to get out of the new packaging!!!
