I visited during the Kohl's cash giveaway weekend around 1PM on Saturday. The employees were not…read morehanding out Kohl's cash or greeting customers when we walked in. The store was not busy at all. When we asked the guy at the self checkout he said they already ran out. The sign was still visible stating the giveaway was going on so it's very misleading to customers & false advertising. Very disappointing.

Have shopped at Penney's for years and years and have shopped at this store for over a decade now…read more It's extremely well stocked and all departments have staff available, although you sometimes have to ask for someone. We visited the jewelry department today because we wanted to get earrings. When we entered the store, we both were handed a secret coupon, which upon opening showed an additional 30% off what we might purchase. This department store is really only one of the few that still have staff overseeing the cases and they have not only a large selection of costume jewelry, they also have a great selection of fine jewelry as well. Wife found a pair of silver hoops and I was successful in finding some 14K hoops. Both were part of their sale currently going on so 50% right off the bat and then with each of our 30% coupons, it brought the costs down even further. We ended up saving over $500 which is appreciated in today's economy. We were helped by Sam and another associate who actually fixed one of the hoops I wanted to purchase...the clasp was closed and needed to be opened a tad and she fixed it perfectly! Sam was great with her friendly manner and allowed us to look at so many pairs and once she understood what we were looking for, she also offered ideas as well. These are her words: "I am extremely disappointed with my repeated experiences at this Walmart as a spark shopper and delivery driver. I understand and fully support Walmart employees, following security procedures, including car checks when required. My concern is not that my card is checked. It is the apparent inconsistency and how these procedures are being applied. Without fail, I am stopped in my car is reviewed even in situations where the spark app does not require an employee car check. At the same time, I have repeatedly observed other spark shoppers of different races, completing their orders without being stopped or subjected to the same additional scrutiny. This hads happened often enough that it no longer feels like an isolated incident. My husband has previously spoken with the manager about our concerns, yet the treatment has continued. I am not asking for special treatment. I am asking for equal treatment. If Walmart policies is to check every spark shoppers cart, then every spark shopper should be treated consistently. If Spark checks are only require when prompted by the spark system, then employees should not repeatedly single out certain shoppers for additional scrutiny. Parking was free and plentiful. *Target offers both name brands, and many products under their own Good & Gather (GG) brand which are of high-quality and offer good value. For instance, in order to make some Caesar salads with chicken, we bought a bag of frozen and tasty GG diced chicken breasts ($8.49, 20 oz), GG Parmesan cheese ($1.99), and more. *The grocery section was clean and well-organized, and we found everything that we intended to buy. *We were pleasantly surprised that AZ doesn't charge sales tax on groceries. Cons: *We intended to buy a lot of fruits and vegetables, but we were disappointed by the selection and prices in this category at this store. While my son successfully collected his, I encountered significant issues when I attempted to pick up my glasses. I was assisted by an associate named Rachel, whose behavior was highly unprofessional. When I arrived, she claimed my glasses were not in and stated she could not check the system because it was down. But they were able to check people in and take them to complete there testing. She then offered to call her manager only if I said "please," before immediately claiming she would not call because the manager was out of town. After eventually going to the back to make a call, she returned with a completely different attitude in the presence of a doctor, yet still could not provide information on my order.
