Never had a problem with this Costco but we only went to get a rotisserie chicken. Got all the way home and to only find it not cooked at all still pink and blood juice at the bottom. My child was trying to get into first, good thing I saw how pink it was because I would have been HOT if she ate this!!! Very annoying so people beware and check the chicken!!! read more

Love Costco !! Their deli is EVERYTHING. Super bummed they took salads off the menu. That is their only downfall. Aside from not offering Sausage on their pizza The lines move super quick and produce is always FRESH. We went here yesterday afternoon to buy whole chicken to feed 90 people. So first we went to the Membership counter just to ask to whom we can talk to about getting 16 whole chickens and the man in the counter with name tag "George" said to my husband "End of line!" So my husband went straight to the Roasting area. I waited in line in the membership area to ask the very helpful woman who told me to go and asked the managers or supervisors that are wearing red vest. I went up to them and asked if we can buy 16 roasted chickens and pick up before they close. Nick "Manager or Supervisor " said he would go to the Rotisserie and check. He came back and said "I am sorry, we're sold out!" That was 4:00pm. I told my husband and my husband said how could they be sold out when the 3 ovens are full of chickens being roasted? Because of the unfriendliness and lack of willingness to even listen to what our situation was, how can you call what they do customer service? I've never had a manager lie to me when it was so obvious that it was not true. In my opinion, these people shouldn't have access to "customer service " situations. Incredible is the only word I can use to describe the lack of courtesy and professionalism that was exhibited by these so called "managers." I feel sorry for the employees that have to report to them. If it was my call, these people would be on the street in a heartbeat. BTW, we we're trying to buy food for 90 kids from the Philippines that were here for a competition. Most of them do not have financial support, so the meals we (and others) are providing, is the only food they have while they are here. Taking matters into our own hands, because a plain "no" is the answer of small-minded people, we walked out with what we needed for the kids. Absolutely no thanks to the "managers " at this Costco. My review of Costco today is for the phone center, we were looking to buy a phone for my granddaughter for Christmas and add a line. The lady we spoke to said she could help us. We inquired about a special we saw online and she showed us the phone. She started helping someone else so we started looking at some of the other phones and saw a deal we liked better than the one we went in for. Now you'd think she would of told us about all the deals we could of got instead of us having to locate them on our own. Once we picked out the phone and gave her all our account info she stated she couldn't get into our account to add it. This seems to be the issue every time we look at phones there. They stated we couldn't have more than 6 lines. So here we are calling our phone company to find out what the problem is again. They told us there was no reason they shouldn't be able to add a line since we can have up to 12. We were then told we could get a better deal dealing with the phone company themselves. So we left and did it on our own. They need to hire some competent people there because they can never seem to get it right. read more

I can't believe the attitude of a mechanic (white male in his early 40's/brunette is the only info I have for him). Conclusion, he should not work for people if he doesn't plan on being helpful or engaging in a kind manner. Dude acted like I was expecting royalty service. Any other worker there offers to check your tire pressure, or they'll kindly tell you you're in the wrong spot. He was avoiding eye contact when I got there n when I finally reversed he started off by telling me what I should've done/ said hi and gotten out of the car like a normal person. I could not believe this encounter happened--please have a talk with him. I hope he's not the one in charge cuz yikes. read more

Guys getting carts with the motorized cart system gave me crap and yelled at me for driving down the isle and waved angrily at me to back up and get out if the way. I should start by saying that My 1-year old went through my wallet and I lost my Visa card and my Costco membership card, and I had to get a new card when I got to the store. After going through the exit to get to membership, we were welcomed by a man at the door and then the employees reminded me that "it's senior hour" and I shouldn't be in there. I had honestly no idea so it would have been nice to see some signage at the door or at least to be told by the man who welcomed me in so that people didn't look at me like I was a murderer. After getting my replacement card, My kids and I waited in the hot sun to go back into the store, shopped around, waited patiently in line to check out, and when I pull out my card they tell me they don't accept MasterCard. WHAT. MasterCard was all I had on me. My Visa was somewhere in the black hole that my Costco membership card fell into. Both of my kids started to lose it and cry when I had to pry their new books out of their hands and leave the store empty handed after a shift leader gave me the "this is your problem not ours" look. I felt so under-appreciated as a loyal customer for a very long time and I was NEVER informed of this MasterCard situation. I never even saw it posted anywhere. They need to find a better solution to this, and a better way to handle customers that are humiliated and waste not only time but a lot of energy having to come into the store during an already high-anxiety time. And crying kids doesn't help. And the rude looks don't help. Not cool Costco. Not cool. read more

This is my favorite Costco location in the Phoenix area. I live closer to the one in Chandler but I like the layout and size of this one. I go there for lunch at least once a week then grab some snacks for the office. Recently they installed kiosks in the food court to select and pay for food. They are the easiest machines I've ever used. One of the things I struggle with is that various types of snacks are in several locations instead of one, which is okay I guess since I burn a lot of calories before loading up on them again. Costco steaks are probably the best deal going and the Kirkland branded beers are also fairly decent. The bathrooms are okay considering the amount of traffic in the place. read more

I wouldn't call it the smiliest Costco in town but who cares, it's a Costco and you know the drill: cheap stuff in bulk, free samples, and any trip could quite possibly end in you buying a TV. They generally round up samples at about 5PM, with the weekends having the most variety but weekdays providing bigger portion sizes. Saturdays and Sundays are insane. It's Phoenix, so people don't really get the idea of crowds. The giant carts don't necessarily help the situation either when you have people standing in the middle of an aisle, cart parked diagonally across a lane. Regardless, amazing deals, free samples, cheap food, cheap pizzas, and it's a friggin' Costco - you'll love it. read more

If I could leave zero stars I would. Myself and my family were racially profiled by PATRICK working up front checking cards. He assumed that we were with another black family and blatantly said that "not all of us can come in" number one MY family was a family of three. Number two, he decided that just because we were all black, of course we had to all be together. And then when we tried to tell him that it was just us three, he THEN proceeded to ask for further ID but had no problem waiving the white families right on by while he turned the black family behind us away. I will NEVER come back to this location. Patrick should be taught on how not to racially profile. I understand limiting the amount of people coming in due to the Pandemic, but you cannot assume that ALL black people are together. Disgusting. read more

Been to this Costco numerous times and never had to deal with stupid until this week. I bought four tires in the fall for a good price. This spring, two days ago, I got a nail in one tire. I changed to the spare and then headed for Costco. They repaired the flat but refused to rotate the tires because of the tread difference between the fronts and the backs. I went to my dealership the next day and paid them to rotate the tires but they said the nail was still in the tire. Since the tires were still under warranty, they recommended I go back to Costco. So, the following day (today) I went back to Costco. They said they could not fix the flat but could sell me a new tire at a prorated price. Terrific. I approved the new tire as long as they didn't rotate them. He agreed. As I picked up the car two hours later, the guy said: 'Okay, we mounted your new tire and rotated them all.' I told him to rotate them back and he refused. Terrific. So I paid someone else to rotate them but Costco chose to rotate them back. He said I could come back tomorrow and they'd rotate them again, for free. Stupid. read more

This Costco has a decent selection, probably the same as any other Costco.  The parking at this location is a little confusion.  There seem to be two sections of parking, one towards the store which is mostly handicap and another section that seems to be really far from the store.  There is also another section to the side which I tend to stick to.  This parking lot gets really busy on weekends and I've had several near misses with people who do not know where to go. The best part of this store is its vast selection of alcohol and wine.  I have been very impressed with the discounted brand named wines that you would usually find at other liquor stores for more money.  Also, the produce is really good here. The paper towels and toilet paper are really hard to find here.  They are by the dairy cooler, but you have to go down this tiny corridor that looks like it's for employees only.  I had to circle the store twice to find the toilet paper my first time here.  Also, you can expect a fair wait with the check-out lines.  No matter how the other lines look, the lines to the right are always going to be the fastest as they have more workers supporting these lines. read more

Absolutely love Costco! I've been coming to Cosco for years now, and I love it. Most days it's very crowded even on weekdays so make sure you give yourself enough time to get through long lines. You have an excellent return policy. The employees are always very helpful. They have some really great vegan protein mixes here you have to get it at the right time because sometimes you can get a really great deal. I've also gotten my head shots printed here at the photo center and they are by far the cheapest and best quality Headshots as compared to any other place that I've been throughout. One of the employees just told me that they have so much more online that they don't have room for in the warehouse so be sure to check the online website for great promotional deals. They also have a food section that you can buy a large I'll be hotdog and a drink for $1.50 among other great food items. read more

A fine Costco, I'd say mid-tier. Opened in 1989. Beware the parking lot - its high-traffic and smallish so it's constantly stressful trying to find a spot and avoiding getting hit by someone else. I've always loved Costco since ever. They really make a customer feel like there's someone that cares. Over the years that's gradually changed. The same Costco we've been going to for years has developed some sort of prejudice towards people of color. It's incredibly ugly. We were denied being able to get dog food and water because our card expired. It's the only place I go for my dog's chow. They usually give you a pass if you forget but nope. It's is all about the associates. Treat them will. Pay them well. And, they will treat the customers with respect. Bottom line, the happy customer will spend money. And everyone will be happy. Some of the associates have been with Costco, long before this location was even built. Twenty seven years, twelve years etc. they are always helpful and friendly. Their hearing aid centers are more thorough and competent than medical centers. They are also priced lower and are more helpful. Oh, yes, the prices are good and the quality is equal to or better than their competition. Time for a two year update with my hearing aids. My retest was done by Devon. It took over an hour and was extremely thorough. She made adjustments to my hearing aids and explained in detail what she was doing and why. No one could have been more conscientious or patient. Even if the prices weren't lower, which they are. It would be my first choice for a thorough exam. read more

Great shopping experience recently, aside from it being crazy busy, things went smoothly during our visit. As usual, we went for just a few items, and spent close to $300! There were plenty of employees on the floor, in the meat dept. and our personal fave folks: the free sample crew, who were repping full force. (true story: young broke post-college me and my besties used to 'lunch' on Costco free samples at times waiting for payday! :) One employee helped the Mr. locate an electronic scooter he needs because he is unable to walk around much. Very kind. They have your typical Costco offerings: Mom and I perused the jewelry which ranged from $20K diamond necklaces to inexpensive Ann Taylor watches. The garden area had lavender bushes, and a wide array of citrus trees. We even found an adorable Easter dress for my niece. Of course we topped off the gas tank after downing a couple of their infamous $1.50 hot dogs with 20oz refillable beverages at the Food Court. We are fans, and will absolutely return, often. read more

I have been to plenty of Costcos and this location by far the THE WORST! In the handful of times I have been at this location I have encountered 1, yes 1 courteous employee. This has never been the case at any other location regardless of how busy it is! I have encountered issues at the register, at optical department where they don't answer the phone because "they are busy" or not being able to explain why it's taking more time than the time quoted only saying "hopefully soon." I have even had issues with returns so bad that I have written to corporate because an employee that was NOT even behind the counter basically interrogated me as to the reason for the return. Staff at this location needs to go through proper training regarding dealing with people or the manager needs to be in the forefront of repairing these issues. I would rather drive an extra 20/30 mins to the next closest Costco than visit this location. read more
