I stopped by Target recently and had a really great experience overall. Everyone there was extremely nice and genuinely helpful. One employee helped me locate a product, and she knew the store layout so well it was like she personally designed it herself. That kind of knowledge and customer service really stands out. Karen at checkout was awesome too and friendly, efficient, and just pleasant to deal with. Now... my only complaint (and it has nothing to do with the staff) is this new store layout. Whoever redesigned it might want to reconsider their career path It feels like someone handed out Legos and said, "Go wild." It reminds me of the new layout at Walgreens confusing and not exactly shopper-friendly. That said, the team inside made up for it completely. Plus, there's plenty of parking onsite, which is always a bonus. Overall: great people, great service... just please rethink the maze layout! read more

I stopped in looking for linen pants and while I didn't find a pair that fit me, of course I found other things while shopping around. I got a few new workout tops and a pair of joggers that are all ready comfortable and were a reasonable price. I did self checkout and the staff was really attentive and helpful to remove all the security tags for me. read more

Ashley was so amazing helping me out today when I was checking out. I was scrambling with my hands full and my son in my arms and she helped me cut the zip ties off the stoller I was buying to put my son in. I've never actually been inside this Target, but I use their online pickup every week and it's always great. Super fast, super easy, and I almost never have any issues with stuff being out of stock. Definitely one of my favorite spots for quick shopping. read more

Ran into this Target (not my usual location) to grab a few things. My intention was to get in and out as soon as possible since I had groceries in the car. I got to self-check-out the line was very long. There was only one regular register open and that line was also long. Two of the self-check registers were broken. I asked the attendant to call for additional registers. She did and then nothing. No help, just approximately 18-20 customers standing and waiting. I asked her to call the manager, and she told me she already had and pointed to a man (Adam) who was just standing around, not doing anything. He came over and told me that there would be in help in 3 minutes. I told him that I'd seen at least 8 other staff members doing other things in the store. Now here is the part where he could have been polite, apologetic and helpful but instead he chose to be rude and condescending and then told me to "have a nice day" So, @Target, it seems like you don't care if we shop at your stores in person anymore, there is virtually no customer service and I'm guessing the work environment in this location is particularly unpleasant. I know that Target corporate will probably do absolutely nothing to rectify this, but am putting this review out to suggest you shop at any other location or just boycott them completely as I'm considering doing. I'll try putting a phone call in tomorrow to talk to the "real" store manager but have little hope she'll actually come to the phone. Save yourself the aggravation and find another place to shop. read more

I've lived near this target for a few years now. It's been a while since I've been here. Today was my first time going in over a year and all I have to say is--what happened? The dressing rooms had piles of clothes on the floor, hanging on the rack, and on the chair. The store looked like it had been ransacked. I felt so bad for the employees that I actually folded all of the clothes that were on the floor in the dressing room I was in. The diaper isle had a foldable mattress spread out on the floor and there were items all over the isles. All I have to say is: I am so sorry that the locals treat your store with so much disrespect and don't do their due diligence as human beings to be polite, respectful, and kind. I'm sorry that your customers drop things on the floor and don't pick up after themselves. What I have to say to the district manager is: something has to change. Your employees need more support. This store's morale needs to be boosted. Tighter security measures maybe? This was really disheartening to see--it screamed poor management, and not just management from the store but from the higher ups. read more

Another store I feel like a kid in a candy shop. Unfortunately, my bank account suffers for it, but hey, you only live once, right? Target has really upped their clothing game. You can find great stuff that is work appropriate at really reasonable prices! And I love the remodel on the fitting rooms! You can actually see your backside with the extra mirror! Of course, this can be horrifying as well, but at least you can make the call before you shell out the money. I was looking for a pair of long boots and voila! Target came through! For $35 bucks I got myself a pair of brown boots that are surprisingly very comfy and look good. I wanted them in black too, but I guess you can't get everything you want! Very clean store and super friendly associates. I definitely recommend this location! read more

I want to thank Iverson and the staff over here at Target in Chandler. I've been going here for years and at one point applied for a season job here. But for Covid I had to cone in to grab a charging cable for my phone and watch for my iPhone and my Apple Watch! I was talking to a friend on the phone and rushing so they could finish at 10pm and Iverson showed me all the cords in electronics! Thank you. The store also had great social distancing amongst the staff! They were all in it together and being kind greeting people throughout the store and saying goodnight as well. Thanks to them I have a charging cord that I needing for my job. They had the right section of the store blocked off for safety and made me feel comfortable coming in the store as well. My baby was fussy because she was hungry so I opted to pay for what I could and go tend to my baby. But that guy was either lazy or not trained well on this. Sorry Target, I have been visiting you since I have lived in the neighborhood since 2004. I have to say, every since then, your store cleanliness (especially bathrooms every time) has gone downhill. The "Big Box-competitor store" near you is out-doing you and they service a less posh crowd. I went this past weekend again to visit you, and the store was busy which is great for you. But the cluster of stuff you cram in there just doesn't reach your old standards of nicely visually designed and does not gleam "clean" anymore. The bathrooms, every time I've gone with the kids, it is just horrifying and I feel like no matter how much you clean, that you just need to blow it up. You still have amazing varieties and I love the dollar spot but in trying to be modern and a bit more upscale...to me, you sacrificed all the other things to make a few new things look amazing. read more

I used the self-checkout Wednesday, April 26, 2023 around 4:30pm. As I exited, an associate said, "Have a nice day, sir". What? I am not male. Just because I do not meet her standard for gender norms does not mean that I am not female. I don't need to prove my gender to ANYONE. I most certainly am not going to pull my shorts down to prove to some dimwit that I, in fact, am female. The correct answer is simply, "Have a nice day." Period. There's no gain from gendering a nicety. You set yourself up for the wrath of someone who is, quite frankly, DONE with people like this associate. No apology from her was going to ever be accepted. As a result of this associate's behavior, I have canceled my Target account. I will NEVER shop at Target again. And, when I mean NEVER, I mean that my next step is contacting CVS and having my prescriptions moved to another store or a different brand pharmacy. That's how egregious this is. Why should I support a business that offers a fake apology from the offensive associate, and a manager who didn't act like she cared that I was insulted? read more

This Target is a pleasant place to shop. I appreciate that they are cleaning the carts and wiping down the self check out lanes. My complaint is with the returns department. The employee that assisted me was wearing her mask below her mouth exposing her nose and mouth. In addition she was coughing. Do they know how Covid 19 is transmitted? I called later and spoke to Ashley. She said that she had told the employee about the same thing this morning. Ugh. I won't be returning to this store. This place...uggh. I'm a little sad because I really like Target stuff. The last time I was here, just a couple of nights ago, I needed to wash my hands and I walked into the Ladies Room/Bathroom/Restroom whatever is proper now-days and I swear I felt like I needed vaccinated for something, immediately. It was nasty, it looked as if someone had gone in there for the sole purpose of ripping paper towels up in small pieces and throwing them everywhere. And they were wet, the floor was filthy, toilets not flushed, toilet paper on the floor. Don't even try to imagine, you'll throw up in your mouth a little. It was so bad I thought someone needed to know so I went to the Service Desk, hello...hello... no one was there, no one was in sight, so after waiting a few minutes. We were on our way. I always go to self check out but I don't know why, something is always wrong, causing a long line which is why I go to self check out to begin with. There is always some employee standing there, I assume to help out but it doesn't seem to work out well because you just wait and wait and wait. I replaced Walmart years ago with Target so once I feel decontaminated I'm going to have to give it another try, no pit stops this time. Please Target, I want you in my life. Be better! read more

With the holidays lurking one tries to limit getting caught in the stores with the rest of the town-folks!!! This was one of those days when i should of used Target online and pickup service. I decided to venture in the store, grab a cart and make the rounds... When i grabbed a cart, it should of came with staff check of a valid drivers license and insurance!!!! It was like NASCAR final laps in Target and I wasn't prepared. As soon as I hit the hallway, people were running into my cart or knocking folks over because it is literally a madhouse when you come to here during the Christmas holidays. At one point with my cart, I thought I was going to end up running a couple of people over as they would just stop in the middle of aisle and stare and not realize people were still waiting to go through... Yeah, I was in the toy area. Can't blame target for the rude people but target employees were helpful as far as finding items located them on the aisle as the Wi-Fi service is limited and my cell service in certain pockets of the store just doesn't work well. The app itself is great because it tells you exactly where an item is located and if you cannot find it the employees will definitely help you out. Holiday madness so I gave them a pass, but the staff was keeping up people to assist and keep items stocked. I've been to way worse and these guys were still friendly despite the craziness! read more

Lazy, unfriendly staffs and inexperience staffs. They told me that I am not a circle 360 member when I clearly used Target app and she scanned the member code. I never have this problem at any Target stores in Gilbert. Second, they did not took their special discount sign off on the item that we want. The discount was over the weekend. We didn't know it was expired so we got the item to check out. When she scanned, she said the discount was never happen before. They have not see this special discount. My husband have to went back to the item isle and took the picture to showed them. The two ladies at the check out was never called their manager or anyone else to double check. They clearly standing there and kept saying that there is no discount like this happen when we told them the sign is still on the isle. Finally, my husband showed them the picture of the discount. They finally realize their fault and tried to rush us off. I don't mind to pay the item in pull price, but I don't appreciate when we told them several times that your discount sign is still there. No one bother to check or tell us this what is going on. They all just standing there by the computer and told us there is not a such thing like this. And everyone looking at us like an idiot. I recently went here with my mom on Saturday very clean store very friendly employees are very helpful I love targets a very very good store everything is easy to find and they always have amazing deals with the Target mobile app so it's very helpful for me to save on money and the café is very delicious they're very cheap has a reasonable price for whatever you want to get a hotdog pretzel a drink wings or pizza so it's very fast and I love you take Apple Pay which makes a lot faster for me that's the one thing as I need to use Apple Pay at the store this will be my target to go read more

Worst Target store around for checking out. It's Saturday, obviously a busy day with Easily 40 people in line, and ONLY 3 check out stands open! And only 1 self check out open with 12 people waiting! Seriously .... whoever is the Manager does not know how to manage customer service check out. After spending $30 more than I Had to, because they would not allow my coupons, they have lost my business. Walmart takes more than 4. I will admit up front that I am not a shopper. In fact, I loathe shopping, mainly due to crowds and other reasons I'll refrain from sharing, so I don't come across as entirely anti-social . . . but I digress. Came to Target because our daughter said they had a decent selection of ASU gear. They don't. In fact, what little they did have was pretty sad, both in terms of quality and overall "who'd by this crap?" value. Perhaps it's partly due to our football team's dismal performance on the gridiron this year? If so, message received Target Corporation -- we fans aren't too thrilled, either. While I waited for my wife to checkout, I visited the men's room (overflowing urinal was less than pleasant), and then took a seat in the small food court near the exit. Floor littered w/ food? Check. Tables in need of a scrub down to remove hardened ketchup smears? Check. Curious if cockroaches ruled this place after lights out? Check. I asked my wife, "Aren't Targets supposed to be nice?" I like shopping at Target. But this particular one is a bit disgusting we'll at least the restrooms. Ladies restroom smells like urine has been on the walls and floors for days. You know that smell when urine sits and it starts to break down? That's the one. Toilet paper rolls are not secured to any normal holders so they end up on the floors. See attached picture. This is very unhygienic, especially for women. Even though they say to notify the manager on duty, I seriously doubt they would do anything about the cleanliness because it is not a priority. You can tell that by overflowing trash cans, the smell and filth on the floors. I live less than 2 miles from this one. I'll drive to Gilbert or South Chandler or even Wal-Mart! read more

Employees are extremely RUDE and so INCOMPETENT. The cashier I just dealt with told me that she can't do a return without a sku number.. so I asked well do you want me to go find the item for you? Then she rolls her eyes and pulls out her handy dandy little personal cell to look herself. Wowwww is all I have to say. Also, a dirty bathroom is a dirty bathroom. And this one rates HI on that list. Out of how we many stalls (5-7), 70% of them still had remnants. Come on people! Sorry this is only the 21st century and you can't flush from your iPhone. I was in check out line for 18 minutes while the checker was walking a mother and daughter through an online coupon I asked the checker to call for another checker and was told to have patience I went to next checkout and same incident staff was with another patron and their phone checker apologized and said "this will take a few minutes sorry " to check out 3 items it took 36 minutes. I was obsessed with target at one point in my life...DVD's, hot wheels, mossimo shirts, etc...but now I find it to be a store full of stuff I would not purchase. I do stop in occasionally (such as today) to look at greeting cards, take inventory of hot wheels, and purchase the occasional grooming product or wax paper for cooking. It's a clean store and is run well. The optical center inside this target has a lot of good frame options. The parking lot is a mess with traffic as it's a shared lot with quite a few other businesses. read more

Anyone who knows me knows I spend so much time at target. I am one of those Memes that make fun of all the people who go to target so much. I especially love coming to this target because the staff is so friendly and I like seeing the same people especially Carol. She Is one of the nicest women I have ever met and genuinely cares about the customer and their well-being. I can come here anytime any day and get consistent awesome service. My only complaint is that this is not a great land or a super target Greatland. We really need an upgrade! I have been using cart wheel since 2012 or 2013 and have saved over $655! Me and my buddy came into target to but something before they closed. We both bought something and I bought 2 stickers. While we were checking out the cashier Tyler that has long hair was talking to us the whole time and being super friendly and welcoming. When we ended up leaving I left my stickers on the counter without remembering. Tyler ran out to us getting in our car and handed them to us. This store is a typical Target store. It delivers what you would expect from a Target. It's a large store with a good variety of items all laid out in a relatively well maintained store. Bathrooms could typically use some attention although I will say they seem to be getting a touch better. Their shelves are well stocked and it's not often that I can't find what I came for (plus some). No real complaints about this location. It's a larger location and a busy one but the team working here seems to handle it well. read more

As far as Target's go, this one is probably on the average to a little above average as far as stock and cleanliness goes. I haven't really had a bad experience here. Things go as planned when I shop here. I would like to point out that there is a morning cashier named Fran that is awesome. She is the reason I'm raising my "average" review up a notch.
