For 2 years I could not decide on a dining room table and must have gone to Casa Decor about 5 times until I found EXACTLY what I was looking for at a price I could not believe. Unfortunately it was sold and I was crushed but then the amazing Carlos and Tony told me that they could order the same set and it would be here in 6 weeks. Well, it only took 5 weeks and the set is even MORE beautiful than the one I saw at the store. It is super unique and the quality is just amazing! The craftsmanship is beautiful and everything just feels super solid. The wood is gorgeous with little colour variations that make it even more special. I am in love with everything I have ever purchased from them and still need to pick up some shelves. You have to check it out for yourself. I just noticed Casa Décor hasn't been reviewed in a while. Let me step into the void. Our family, well, one family member in particular, is a big fan of Casa Décor. How fortunate, the family joke goes, that Casa Décor is having a 50% off furniture sale on a day we happen to be visiting nearby IKEA. Why the joke? Casa Décor is ALWAYS having a 50% off furniture sale (25% off accessories). What motivated me to write this review, other than the boredom of waiting for others to shop, was our history with the store. We have made several purchases over the years. The pricing, after the usual discount, is always reasonable. We did not thoroughly appreciate the nature of the store, however, until we had a problem. A young, rambunctious, family member remarkably found a way to break the back of a rustic dining chair we had purchased a year or so earlier. Part of a unique set. Difficult to replace. In desperation, we brought the chair back to Casa Décor and they reacted, "Oh sure. We have a guy who can fix it." What a relief. We left the chair without even bothering to ask what it was going to cost. They promptly repaired the chair in just a few days. We were then amazed to find there was no charge! "It shouldn't have broken," was the explanation. The quality of the repair? We couldn't figure out which side had broken until it was revealed to us. Awesome! The store represents itself as rustic Santa Fe. That's upscale code for predominantly Mexican furniture. We've had a lot of success finding basic and slightly unusual items at the store over the years. Casa Décor and its competitor, Tucson based Tres Amigos (located in Glendale), have been our go to destinations for reasonably priced Mexican furniture in the Valley. Embrace your inner Southwest and visit Casa Décor. It's a fun outing. Then head on over to IKEA for a cheap hot dog. Just remember the furniture you buy at Casa Décor, unlike IKEA, will be fully assembled! read more

Originally, I loved this place and all of the rustic furniture. I told everyone and anyone about this store. Since then, I've tried to shop in here several times and even brought in potential customers only to be treated so rude that I will never return. There are plenty of other amazing places to shop where they want your business. It might explain why this store is so empty. When we finally found someone to help, they were incredibly rude and made it very clear that we were a huge inconvenience to them. Just had our third purchase delivered! My wife and I went in to check out the store on a whim. While there we found a sofa table that was really well built (with aged wood) and brought that piece home. I went in a few days later and put in a custom built order for a desk since I have grown tired of the flimsy press-wood pieces that are everywhere these days. And just last night we had our bed (also custom ordered and built) delivered. Fair prices on really nice pieces. So glad we found this place. read more

This place is super awesome, if you like this kinda stuff! Its wall to wall stuffed with Southwest/New Mexican/Mexican inspired stuff. And when i say stuff, i actually mean just that - stuff! It is impossible to describe what exactly they sell as they seems to sell it all - furniture, mirrors, antiques, chairs, benches, pictures, ceramics, garden things, house decorations, wall plates, vases, trays, etc, etc, etc list goes on and on. Its super fun to stroll through the isles there awed eye, looking around trying to find something you have not seen yet. And for the most part, do find that weird something you are hunting for. I totally dig this place, and have purchased a few odds and ends from them and plan on hitting it back, every now and again, as their inventory always changes and unique things float in sometimes. My fiance and I just moved into the area with little more than a bed and box spring to our name. Long story short, we were in desperate need for some furniture. Desperation however doesn't mean we aren't picky about quality, or looks, and here we were able to find a plethora of products here offering both. Seriously, this building is pretty large and is packed corner to corner with items. The items that we purchased are sturdy and seem to be great quality. The customer service was outstanding as well, and they even delivered the items to us themselves the next day for a small fee. All I can say is it was a great experience all around and as we can add more to our tiny apartment this will be the first place we come from now on. Oh, but guys if you're reading this I noticed when setting the stand in the right spot that the leg has a chip in the bottom of it. No biggie, but you might want to consider getting something to protect it when moving. Food for thought. Thanks again! read more

We ordered custom furniture, and it was a horrific experience. It took 6 months to get one of the pieces, because they kept poor records and somehow they continually forgot about it (even though we paid upfront). When they finally received it, the dimensions were wrong. We insisted that they make another according to the correct dimensions. From that point on, they were rude to us and wouldn't return our phone calls. Many times that we called to check on it, the employees had no idea what we were talking about. The saga dragged on for an entire year, until we finally received the correct furniture piece. They were rude to us, and we felt terrible about the entire purchase. The owner's lack of integrity and manager's lack of professionalism was extremely disappointing. Prior to that point, we had purchased thousands of dollars worth of furniture (non-custom made) and are very satisfied with it. Great style and price. However, due to the dubious character of the owner and management, I would not recommend this store to any friend of mine. read more

Very rude and unaccommodating. Especially if you're a woman. Apparently we can't do anything and he needs to speak to your husband. Ordered barn doors and they got the measurements off. Had to re-drill holes in the rail. Now we have a rail with about 15 holes in it. (They didn't make a new one, just drilled more holes.). The barn doors didn't meet in the middle. The doors were not square. Then trying to rectify all this, the main person we dealt with was condescending and rude. We fixed them ourselves. No reimbursement. (On a good note, the delivery guys were great and the delivery price was good.) Buyer beware. read more

What deceptice business practices this store/management/owner have! NO WHERE in the store are there any signs or information that Sale Merchandise is not cancellable or returnable. They way they have all the windows painted with the words liquidation, 50% then 20% more, it appears that this is the "mode" in which they sell on a regular basis. When I went to pay for the 2 pieces I was purchasing, I WAS NOT TOLD THAT THE SALE WAS FINAL, NOR THAT THE SALE COULD NOT BE CANCELLED. Deb, the Manager handled my transaction. When I went home, I became concerned about the depth and height of the consoles that I purchased and called the store and spoke to Deb, the Manager. I told her that I might have a problem, and she gave me the height and depth of the furniture. I told her that I would call her back. I do, and said I THOUGHT that it might be ok. Upon further inspection , 1.5 hours later, of the space, I noticed that the wall had a chair rail/wainscoating and realized that it would interfer with the consoles, and that they would NOT work there. I called the store and spoke to Deb, and told her that I did not feel that the consoles were going to work in that space and I needed to stop the delivery set for the next day, and to cancel the sale. ONLY THEN, did she tell me that Sale Merchandise was NOT cancellable or returnable, AND.....that on the back of the Receipt is stated this, SO THEY DID NOT HAVE TO TELL ME. # 1.) The back of the receipt is not shown to you, or the inability to cancel the sale. # 2.) Deb, the Manager, stated " oh many people have tried to do this and lost" so I asked her if this then was their regualr "mode of practice" since SO MANY had tried to do so and lost.? She told me "not to get smart with her" 3.) On two seperate occasions the store and and Manager had the obligation to tell me, and any other customer, " that all sales were final", but the neglected to do so over and over, NOR DO THEY HAVE IT POSTED ANYWHERE IN THE STORE. #4.) Deb, told me she would call the Owner, and call me back. She did so and smugly stated " the Owner stands with MY decision". We have cancelled the delivery of the consoles for tomorrow, BUT WILL NOT RETURN YOUR MONEY. So, they have MY money and they have THEIR furniture! #5.) I asked WHY on the back of the receipt their is a line for CUSTOMER SIGNATURE ( in other words for the customer to read it and sign that they understood?) She said " oh no one signs that ( because apparently the store and the Manager never show it to them, nor ask for the signature!. She also said THEY only use it for "special/custom orders" then a Customer is asked to sign. #6.) The back of the receipt is very obviously what they attempt to point to so that they do not have to tell you this information......and apparently they rely on the printed word, instead of "telling the truth to the Customers". I have disputed this on my credit card, and have also written to the Better Business Burea as from the conversation with Deb, the Manger who claims she spoke to the Owner, THEY DO THIS ALL THE TIME! When she told me THIS i responded "that it sounded like their regualr way of doing business" IT IS THEIR OBLIGATION TO TELL CUSTOMERS THAT "ALL SALES ARE FINAL": AND IT SHOULD SAY IT ON THE FRONT OF THEIR RECEIPTS FOR ALL TO SEE. ALSO, IT MOST DEFINETELY SHOULD BE "POSTED" AROUND THE STORE, AND WHEN GIVEN 2 OPPORTUNITIES TO TELL THE CUSTOMER, AND DO NOT, THIS IS WITHOUT QUESTION A "SHADY" WAY OF DOING BUSINESS. When I asked her, when I called earlier today and said I might have a problem and asked for the depth and height, WHY SHE DID NOT TELL ME THEN, EITHER. She just laughed and said "don;t try and push me around and lower your voice". i am perfectly prepared to take this company and it's Owner and Management to Mediation, and then on to Court if necessary as they "don;t really care about the Customer or Good Business Practices, and let you know that " in your face" when you are having a problem. DON'T SHOP HERE, GO TO THE OTHER STORE IN THE SAME SHOPPING CENTER, THEY ARE SO NICE AND SO HELPFUL. SEE IF YOU CAN FIND SOMETHING THERE THAT WORKS, OR GO TO IKEA! Their Customer Service and Total Disclosure is what an HONEST AND DECENT business does. Gorgeous furniture at unbeatable prices! And, the service can't be beat! We loved our experience at Casa Decor so much that we have been back 4 times now. Great quality furniture; strong and sturdy. The kind of heirloom pieces that you can pass down to your kids--but at prices that beat even the discount furniture stores!! Dennis (the owner) and Shawn (an incredible handyman who also does projects around the house if you need help) are great to work with. After looking everywhere else, we finally found the exact coffee table we were looking for....only it was actually a dining room table. Dennis and Shawn custom cut the legs down to the height we chose -- and still delivered it same day !! These guys will even make furniture for you. Just bring them a picture or a sketch. The only way I can explain how I feel about Casa Décor would be to say that "I've fallen in love again". This place is great! Came here by chance after visiting Ikea and I'm so happy I did. The furniture is beautiful and sturdy, the store manager Carlos as well as his employees are so friendly and helpful. I walked out of there with a TV console but not before they took the time to measure the piece to ensure that it would fit perfectly on the space I had, and it did. Unfortunately I did not have enough time to browse the entire store, but that's o.k. going back this weekend!!! read more

I bought semi-custom couch, love-seat, ottoman set. I am very happy with the quality, delivery (2 weeks earlier than quoted), and pricing. The only thing that bugged me and almost made me walk was the owner is way too "used car salesman". The stuff coming out of his mouth was so far from believable that it was an insult to my intelligence. Deal directly with a blond hair lady who I am guessing is in here early 50's.
