Our designer, Kat has always been super helpful and patient. Customer service is fantastic, before, during and after the sale!!! It's fun to go in and browse, just to see what's new. They always welcome our sweet greyhound in the summer, when we go in just to say hello! Pascal, the repairs manager, just helped us with repairs that were needed on 2 chairs that we purchased 4-5 years ago. There has never been a charge and he is always generous with his time and we are appreciative! There is no other furniture store that has the selection of contemporary furniture that Copenhagen does. They are a pleasure to do business with.

After a recent awful experience with another furniture store, I will probably wait for Copenhagen to get a couch I love as much as the one I'm hoping to return after 5 months of hassles just to avoid the stress and horrible customer service from the other store. The delivery of the items that we purchased off the floor was done quickly and professionally. Unfortunately we cannot claim the rest of the items purchased and ordered was the same experience. We were informed that a console table was delivered from the manufacturer as well as the bar stools. We had some consignment items we needed to deliver to the consignment shop so we asked to come by to pick up our purchases instead of paying a delivery fee. The store is 45 minutes away with no traffic. We coordinated our rental truck to deliver and pick up only to be told the console table really wasn't there, Thingz had been asking for full payment because they said it was ready for delivery, and the bar stools were not available for pickup as they were somewhere into warehouse. According to Thingz policy 24 hours were asked if you were going to pickup your items. That 24 hours had been met. We were told they were sorry and they would deliver the bar stools at no cost. We canceled the console order as they couldn't give me any indication of when it would be shipped. It had been 6 weeks already. They delivered the bar stools only to have one of the stools not match. We were given the option to have the floor model delivered since it matched the new stools. They delivered the floor model knowing there was a red stain on the stool. We were disappointed in the quality of the floor model. They ordered new cushions to replace the soiled stool. I received a phone call letting me know that the new cushions were available and we would get a phone call to schedule a time to replace the cushions. A month later, no phone call to schedule the replacement as promised. We ended up bringing the stool in and they replaced the cushion at the store. Our experience at Thingz was they over promise and definitely under delivered in their customer service department. Across the months that this took place we had asked through email or phone calls to speak to manager or the owner and they never communicated with us. The "customer service" person was very delayed in communication and did not follow through with what was happening with our orders. Very disappointed at what appears to be a quality store.

Very disappointing experience with Kreiss. I purchased a sofa based on a fabric swatch that was…read moreclearly a darker color. I specifically told the salesperson I needed a dark sofa because I have a black cat. When the sofa was delivered, it was noticeably lighter than the swatch used to sell it. When I raised the issue and provided a photo , Kreiss first said the swatch was positioned differently in the weave. After I provided more photos showing the same discrepancy from multiple angles, they said the difference was just "normal dye lot variation." The contract also contains extensive fine-print terms that appear to limit customer protections and discourage refusing delivery--none of which were explained during the purchase. When I tried to raise the issue and withheld the remaining balance to encourage a discussion, I was told I should have requested an "approval cutting" and was threatened with legal action and attorneys' fees. There were also delivery delays and poor communication despite my requests for advance notice. I ultimately paid the balance, but I'm now stuck with an expensive sofa that does not match the swatch used during the sale. Based on my experience, buyers should review Kreiss's contract terms very carefully before purchasing.
