I stopped here on a whim after trying to find some distinctive replacements for my living room furniture. About two months ago I ordered a chair with deposit. I wanted to get the sofa also but wanted to first see how well I liked the chair prior to getting more. I paid the deposit and a few weeks ago I received the call to come in and pay the balance. I did and paid for the delivery. It was delivered last Thursday by two fine men who did an excellent job. I'll be back soon to order the couch. Absolutely love the chair! read more

Good selection of contemporary furniture with very good value. Kevin Russell, the salesperson was very helpful and knowledgeable of the stock. I purchased a tall narrow bookcase (which I use in my laundry room for cleaning supplies), and picked it up at the loading dock when it came in. The guys at the loading dock helped me get it in to my vehicle and were very pleasant. I assembled it myself. The quality of the wood is good, assembly was fairly intuitive, and it is strong. Although I don't need a sofa, their selection of contemporary sofas is very good with some even made in the USA. read more

I ordered my furniture, June 4. It was to have been delivered July 13 the morning of July 13. I got a call saying they didn't have a driver that day and I'd have to reschedule. I rescheduled for July 27 and was given the delivery of Window of between 1145 and 245. I had the ringer turned on my phone. I did not get any calls but at 10 after 12 got a text stating we've tried calling you twice and if we don't hear from you in 15 minutes, we're moving on, they moved down before I saw the text. But I never got a call. I took a picture of my phone incoming calls from them yesterday morning and now they've rescheduled to deliver my furniture August 10 on the phone. I said how will this be any different if I don't get a call August 10. read more

We walked in just to take a look and ended up with a Stressless reclining sofa, a new Stressless chair with ottoman, and an amazing Waw office chair! The General Manager helped us find exactly the right fit for my big & tall husband. Jason deserves a shout out for helping us with a special order to be filled by another store. We got personalized service by not going through the web for the order. He sacrificed his commission to ensure we got exactly the furniture we need, including following up with another associate in another state. The show room was set up to brouse. The only contact with a sales person was to say hi and direct me to whom to see if i had questions. The quality of the products was universally good. When it was time to buy the process was reasonably smooth. As you might expect the hang up came when ordering items from the ware house. Who would be first in line who had to wait. Would everything come together or one at a time. I was fortunate that i purchased from the Phoenix store. My sales rep stayed on top of order long after it was paid for and i was a distant memory. I purchased 6 dining chairs and 2 counter stools there over the summer and while at the store I was so pleased with the selection and pricing. I purchased a dining room set and set up delivery, a time window was set up as230 to 5 they show up at 1251, take a pic of my address and leave no delivery, I call the store and ask where is my stuff, was told by the smart ass manager that I was not home so delivery could not take place I replied that the delivery was supposed to be between 230-5 not 1251. was informed that I would have to wait till next delivery to get my set. I politely told them to shove the dining set in their arse then called my bank and had them remove my money from the store . What a horrible shit show the manager should be fired read more

I love the midcentury furniture selection at the store. This was the only store that had the midcentury style sectional with a wedge center section. Along with good prices, they had a huge selection of fabrics to choose from and no additional charge for customizing. They told us up front that it could take 4 to 6 months to receive our order because of the supply chain problems. We were already aware that completion time could be long because of supply chain issues and we were willing to wait to get what we wanted. It was almost six months for delivery but the store staff was very polite and willing to check the status prior to delivery. read more

Saturday morning at 10am Justin arranged a pick up of the incorrect piece and delivery of correct one. My wife and I have been searching for mid century looking furniture for many months, and not finding anything that appealed to us at other furniture stores in Phoenix. Stopping in the Tatum store on a whim, we were greeted so pleasantly by Shannon who told us how the store was laid out with different types of furniture. While she attended to our needs and answered our questions, she let us browse the store at our leisure. It felt good to shop without feeling the pressure of someone following us around. We chose a sofa that we liked and arranged delivery. Surprised to find out that SD offers a discount to Veterans, and that amount meant free delivery for us. Delivery was made as scheduled, the drivers and texts keeping us informed all along the way. The delivery was a bit early which was nice, and the driver and assistant followed Covid protocols and moved swiftly to set up the sofa in our living room. We believe this store offers a very nice choice of Scandinavian design product, and some of the best customer service in the area. They are heads and shoulders above several other furniture stores we have done business with in the past. Follow up with the store was handled by Kaitlyn, and she couldn't have been more professional. We will be back, and we will tell all our friends about this store. I have shopped here in the past and the customer service has always been mediocre. Today I needed to return 4 pictures that did not work well in my living room. I was told I would be charged a $40.00 restocking fee by the manager Art. I asked why since everything was in its original packaging and box and he could not give me a valid answer other than to say it says that on the receipt. I later got home and looked at the return policy receipt and it does not say that at all. It states if it is not in its original packaging. I guess it's their way to scam people out of money! I ordered it over the phone because I purchased the same sofa in Oregon and knew I wanted it in my Scottsdale condo as well. I have had a very positive experience with both the store in Portland, Oregon as well as over the phone with Scottsdale. But what I am actually posting a review about is the delivery service. Eduardo and David delivered my sofa. It is a sectional and comes in three pieces. And it weighs a ton! The building I live in is ridiculously fussy. One rule after another about delivery. Eduardo and David were amazing. They were so careful. Also I had them move the sofa several times because I was trying to position it differently. They were not happy until I was happy.
