Thingz has some beautiful items in their store. We purchased some items off the floor and ordered a few items as well. The delivery of the items that we purchased off the floor was done quickly and professionally. Unfortunately we cannot claim the rest of the items purchased and ordered was the same experience. We were informed that a console table was delivered from the manufacturer as well as the bar stools. We had some consignment items we needed to deliver to the consignment shop so we asked to come by to pick up our purchases instead of paying a delivery fee. The store is 45 minutes away with no traffic. We coordinated our rental truck to deliver and pick up only to be told the console table really wasn't there, Thingz had been asking for full payment because they said it was ready for delivery, and the bar stools were not available for pickup as they were somewhere into warehouse. According to Thingz policy 24 hours were asked if you were going to pickup your items. That 24 hours had been met. We were told they were sorry and they would deliver the bar stools at no cost. We canceled the console order as they couldn't give me any indication of when it would be shipped. It had been 6 weeks already. They delivered the bar stools only to have one of the stools not match. We were given the option to have the floor model delivered since it matched the new stools. They delivered the floor model knowing there was a red stain on the stool. We were disappointed in the quality of the floor model. They ordered new cushions to replace the soiled stool. I received a phone call letting me know that the new cushions were available and we would get a phone call to schedule a time to replace the cushions. A month later, no phone call to schedule the replacement as promised. We ended up bringing the stool in and they replaced the cushion at the store. Our experience at Thingz was they over promise and definitely under delivered in their customer service department. Across the months that this took place we had asked through email or phone calls to speak to manager or the owner and they never communicated with us. The "customer service" person was very delayed in communication and did not follow through with what was happening with our orders. Very disappointed at what appears to be a quality store. read more

Great contemporary furnishings. Beautifully made. Expensive though. Great service wish they had a bigger showroom

Looking for a high end leather sectional at this store which as many interesting and unique items. We did not see many sectionals that met our criteria. We noted that the quality of the sofas did not quite add up to the high price point. They did have beautiful other items. The saving grace of our visit was a sales person who was an interior designer and was very helpful to us. The fourth star is for her. read more

I guess super cool things come with a super huge price tag. If you're looking for custom items this is the place to go. Super friendly, super unique. To expensive for me. read more

Donna was very pleasant and easy to work with, guiding us through your showroom and providing measurements and samples so we could make the right decision in furnishing an apartment. Thingz is the store to visit when you want contemporary furniture. Thanks. read more

ThingZ is a must for unique contemporary furniture and accessories! Over 6 years ago we furnished 90 % our new home through ThingZ. From beds and coffee tables to lighting and sculptures...and even a custom contemporary barn door! Susie and Michelle go out of their way to make sure you are 100% satisfied! When anyone first sees our home, ThingZ always comes up in conversation! Best of all, they have a sister store less than 5 minutes away called the Boulevard! We can never have too many places to find unique contemporary furniture and accessories! read more

We received great service from Stefanie and Michelle. They both bent over backwards to make sure we were happy when we needed to make a change. I will definitely go back to Thingz. read more

I furnished my last house in Estancia from Thingz. Our new home is under construction and today I wandered into Thingz 10 minutes before closing. A clerk approached me and stated "We're closing," (not "Hello, can I help you," or "Welcome," or "Can I get you a water?") I asked her, "In 10 minutes?" and she replied, "Yes, but I'm turning off the lights now." As the lights began to go off, I left the showroom floor. My decorator and I will be shopping elsewhere for furnishing for my new home and I won't be back to Thingz. Too bad, because they have beautiful offerings. read more

I was visiting Phoenix from LA over Thanksgiving and happened to come across this store in my search for a couch. I was impressed with the store when I walked in as they have cool, contemporary and unique home items. I liked the fact that their showroom was similar to what I could find in Santa Monica or Venice, but they were much more reasonably priced. I fell in love with a couch, and with the sale they were having I was able to get it for 50% off. The best part of the store though was the customer service. Jason was very attentive and helpful. When I requested if they ship to LA, he didn't hesitate and got on the phone right away to try to work it for me. I had been talking to other stores in Phoenix and none of them were willing to set up a shipment. Not only did Jason get the shipment arranged, but he did it really cheaply! I was able to get it in my home in LA, in less than a week, for a shipping cost of only $117! Jason then called me the next week to ensure that my sofa had arrived and to tell me that he had personally wrapped/packed the sofa. It arrived on time, looks great and was great quality. Thanks so much! read more

Adorable place for home furnishings, very unique and cute...lamps, chairs, pillows, art read more

Cool furnishing store with modern designs. You'll find a lot of unique items, whether it's a bed, coffee table, or decorative item. Prices are fair, since you are paying a little more for the unique aspect, plus the higher quality. read more

The Thingz team was so helpful in helping me with my new condo! I was going for a modern/contemporary look and they helped me really nail it. Michelle and Deborah were very professional and really know their stuff. I probably ended up spending more than I planned but I feel like the quality, style and service really made it worth while! They also have a little kitchen and bath design center in the back where Courtney helped me with a new kitchen for my dated looking condo. Now it looks fresh and new and I couldn't be more thrilled with the look. The whole team here is great and the store has such a great look and feel. Love it here! read more

From the time Donna greeted us to delivery our experience with Thingz was awesome. Donna spent all the time we needed selecting dining chairs, bar stools, fabrics....we always felt she was trying to ensure we had the perfect design for our home. Many Thanks read more

Great place to find unique contemporary furnishings. Staff is great, very attentive in addressing any design needs. I felt welcomed right away unlike at Copenhagen. Prices are pretty high, but that goes without saying when considering high end contemporary pieces. Almost everything can be customized to your taste. They also sell things straight off the floor if your in a hurry, so definitely a nice place to check out and get out of the heat. read more

I ordered and paid for two chairs in September. 2 months later with no word on their status (I'd been told 6 weeks), I called. They FORGOT to order them, and told me it would take another 6 weeks to get them. Astonishingly terrible service. read more

Walked in prepared to purchase a couch and walked around for 20 minutes with absolutely no acknowledgment from any of the three sales women. Seriously? It takes two seconds to smile and say hi. Will take my business elsewhere read more

I had been going into Thingz for several years during visits to the area. Now that I officially live here, I am able to purchase furniture, etc. for my remodeled house. I met Stephanie during a store visit and felt like i clicked with her. She had great ideas and her knowledge of the furniture, carpets, etc. and she followed up with a purchase proposal immediately. Once after a store visit I made when she was not at the store, she emailed me to follow up, which I appreciated. I expect to work with Stephanie and to purchase some of the furniture in the near future. She is fun and great to work with. read more

I have waited quite a while to write a review. I really only have good things to say about the store. They are a unique store that offers contemporary furniture. They have pieces that you can't find that other stores. I purchased a bed, a table, and chairs. They have all held up beautifully. I constantly get compliments on my Oios table. If your style is contemporary and modern with clean lines then you have to stop into the store. I have referred people over there and they have been very happy that they checked it out. It's now been two years and all the items that I have purchased are still wonderful. It is definitely one of those stores that you get what you pay for. read more

In April, I ordered, and completely paid for two chairs. I was told it would be six weeks. As that time neared, I called and left a message for my saleswoman who never bothered to return my phone call. Another saleswoman said she would help. Another week passed with no information. I again called and was told that my chairs were due to be completed by July 4th. Again, as that time passed I called and was informed it would be the end of a July. Another two weeks without a call. I called again and was told it would one be the first week of August. Ok, so now it's August 5th, and I (the customer) call for a follow-up. A gentleman answers the phone and said it's now going to be Mid -August. He said he will call me this Friday. - we will see. I have a few thoughts - shouldn't my saleswoman be following up with me? Isn't it common courtesy to notify customers of delays?? I'm pretty sure that if I hadn't called and asked, Thingz would be complacently happy to keep my money and never deliver! I just got a note from my interior design professionals suggesting we go look at Thingz for a table. No thank you!!! read more

Fantastic service, fantastic products...terrific showroom and professional staff...highly recommended

My husband I purchased a condo in downtown Scottsdale. We started with a clean slate. We wanted to have a contemporary feel, but neither of us have an eye for this type of thing. We did some research and fortunately found Thingz. We could not have made a better decision with the store and our designer, Michelle. During our first meeting, Michelle listened to our overall objective, what we did and didn't want, and our budget. We explained we needed furniture, art, lighting (you name it) for the entire space. From that first discussion on, we knew we were in excellent hands. The condo consists of a kitchen, living/dining area, two bedrooms, and office. Michelle made sure we prioritized our purchases so everything arrived at the exact time we wanted to move into our new home. Michelle also helped us choose the stacked stone for our accent wall, paint colors, and rugs to compliment our purchases. Michelle was extremely patient throughout the entire process. Many times I would call her and start the conversation with, "I've been thinking, and I'm not sure about..." Each time (and there were many), Michelle would listen to my concerns, and then either suggest another alternative or show me why our original choice will work best in the space. She was amazing at helping me visualize our overall goal. The end result: Our new home is striking, welcoming, and beautiful. Not only did Michelle exceed our expectations with the finished product, but she exceeded our wildest dreams. We love our home, and when our next project presents itself, we will immediately turn to Michelle and Thingz. read more

I've been working with this amazing retailer for over a year now and have nothing but wonderful things to say about them. They offer unique, contemporary furniture and furnishings... what makes them equally unique is their customer service.. one of my pieces that I had custom made was not ready in time for my rental and the warehouse personally brought over to my house a really nice end table to use for three months while my renter was here. They picked up the piece today and replaced with the custom piece. How many stores would do that? Ryan, the customer service and warehouse manager, went the extra mile to accomodate. I would only shop at THINGZ for contemporary items and give it 5 stars+++ read more

My husband and I have purchased several pieces from Thingz and after our latest experience, we will never shop there again. We purchased an expensive light fixture only to discover that it was defective. When I called to tell them, I was informed that they would have to "check with the manufacturer to see if they would accept the return." What?! No apology, no attempt to help. We took the fixture back to the store that day and was told, "I told you I'd let you know when I hear back from the manufacturer." In the meantime, we were hosting a large anniversary party on the upcoming weekend & paid $200 for the light to be installed with no light and no apology. Finally the sales rep agreed to call the manufacturer while we were in the store and a new light was to be shipped out. A week later, we got only part of the light! The glass bubbles had been shipped to the store. It was supposed to be delivered by the Thingz delivery man on Friday (address and time were confirmed) and they delivered it to our old address! They didn't even let us...I had to call and find out! Again, no apology!!!!! Supposedly, the bulbs will be here tomorrow..however, I'm not holding my breath. This has truly been one of the worst customer service experiences in my life! read more
