This shop is not like all the other consignment shops in the area! The owners really curate what they take in and everything is in perfect condition. It is very hard to tell that anything has been "pre-owned"! They carry furniture, art, decorative items and some unique, locally made jewelry. Furniture is mainly mid century modern or neutral and always in perfect condition. ( none of that awful heavy faux-Tuscan stuff you see in other consignment shops) They often have great outdoor furniture sets, as well. Over the eight years since we moved to PV, we have gotten great outdoor and indoor pieces, some wonderful seasonal decorations, and also a few great lamps. I check in regularly to see Teresa and John and whatever is on the floor that month. Our dog Monk says it is his favorite place to visit because there are always treats for him. And John gives good head scratches! Highly highly recommended. We always recommend to our friends moving to the area and noone is ever disappointed. read more

NOT the same:( Long-time owner (Shellie) has retired and the new owner (former salesperson there) has doubled (at least!) the prices. They also closed down half the showroom space! Have shopped here (& at the now-closed 2nd location) since they opened 20 years ago. ApC used to have a wide ranging selection of eclectic high quality merch (at great prices) until they caught the "let's make every room look like a generic modern hotel room" bug a few years ago. IMHO, the store has been "not so great" ever since. But Shellie remained the welcoming draw. Now that she's gone (along with her long-time employees), coupled with the hyper inflated prices, there's no reason to shop here anymore. Great place and very good pricing. As with all consignment places, you have to frequent and get it when you see it. I stopped in on a Saturday and the selection was vast. Displays were appealing and the ability to navigate the store was exceptional. A very good sign in any consignment place is some 'sold' tags. I snagged some very tall vases and some interesting accessories. Take it from me, if you see the item and it works for you, grab it. If you come back looking for it, it will be gone. Very respectable operation. They do a good job of selling stuff people want so inventory is ever changing. Prices reasonable. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I think the owner does a great job picking good people. Environment/show room is pleasant and clean, making it desirable to spend some time checking things out. I was really impressed when I got a call well in advance of their rare weekend closure. Saved me time and hassle. And Shelley was very proactive in helping load my stuff in my truck. That struck me, since that's a rarity in my experience. She's fit but not a big person, and I've had many large grown men just watch me struggle. Just a very decent way to handle a business. The staff was friendly except for the one walking around the store talking very loudly on her phone. Seriously!! She really was! I can't say there was a lot to like here except a couple of nice large desks and a good quality pedestal table. Outdated, dirty upholstery on most things and some interesting accessories. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I was just visiting Airpark Consignment when an extremely rude customer refused to back away from an associate who asked her politely to keep distance since she (the customer) wasn't wearing a mask. There is a sign on the front door that states the store offers "freedom to choose" whether or not to wear a mask but I would assume that also allows customers, as well as associates, freedom to choose to ask people without a mask to keep their distance. The associate, I believe her name is Kathryn, handled the rude woman with patience and grace. (I wouldn't have been so kind) After witnessing the customer care that was provided to this woman despite her terrible attitude, I will definitely be returning to Airpark Consignment. Folks let me tell you that there are great consignment shops and dishonest shops. I brought in a brand new item valued easily at $200 plus. I get a check from them for less than $5.00. Wouldn't you think this shop would have called me first so o could have picked it up and donated it not a peep. Quite frankly I would avoid this horror show of a shop at all costs. Think consignment in Scottsdale and you might be tempted to think everything is going to be expensive. Not here! What do they have? Pretty much everything you need to furnish and decorate a house. I was talking to one customer about how great the price was on a giant framed mirror (7' x 5' ish) and she mentioned that she was buying this original framed art because the frame was cheaper and better than what she could buy at Michael's. About a month ago I bough a frame print for $10 and I am sure the frame its self is worth more than $10. Just a heads up this store does not have cloths, at least not that I saw. So... all that and friendly staff that have fun and seem to like their jobs makes this one of my favorite places to bargain shop for more stuff, after all who doesn't need more stuff? read more

My girl friend and I recently moved to the valley from Southern California...and we were so optimistic that our furniture would work in our new condo but just like every move we were surely disappointed. She was also extremely honest with presenting her market and boy does she know it well! We were surprised that our items sold quickly and for a pretty good return! The store is very well laid out and the way that items are presented doesn't seem like a second hand shop at all. There is a great selection of really high end name brands for way less than you would pay any where else. Airpark Consignment is undoubtedly the BEST consignment store I have ever worked with! I had several items that I wanted to sell in preparation of putting my condo on the market. For a nominal fee they arranged to have the items picked up at my home, they evaluated and fairly priced the items quickly and sold them for the quoted price. I still have one item there that has not sold so they had not reached out to me to settle up yet but when I called for an update I was pleasantly surprised to hear that all but the one item had been snapped up so quickly. I've heard good things about Airpark on my consignment rounds. It is on the way in "Scottsdale's Consignment Corridor" or whatever they call it. I call it "Rich people getting rid of their furniture". I have had very mixed experiences here. Once with my boyfriend we spent 2+ hours looking in every nook & cranny for treasures. Very helpful staff, almost to the point of being annoying. We ended up buying some art for our walls, and a small designer side-table, both at decent prices. The owner (Shelly?) always is helpful. But the snobby girl she hired to work at the front desk didn't even say hello to me when I wished her a good morning, although she did look up to make eye-contact, and IGNORED me. (Or maybe she is deaf...and I should have waved.) I walked around the store for about 20 more minutes. I had a question on a piece of Thomasville furniture (that was very over-priced based on my knowledge of its original price, since I own other parts of the same set!) and wanted to know if I could make an offer. My attempt at communication with the employee was basically ignored. She made me feel like she didn't have any time for me. Maybe she was busy, or having a bad day. But I felt so uncomfortable I just left. Maybe it was because I wasn't wearing makeup that day? My hair was in a pony tail? Or because I wasn't dressed up or with my (very good looking) boyfriend? Whatever it was, for some reason I was not deserving of ANY customer service, or basic politeness that day. I know this is North Scottsdale, but if you decide to give/not give attention to your customers based on a 3-second physical evaluation, then I don't EVER want to give you my business. I don't need to be judged like I'm still in highschool. Since then I've skipped Airpark and have been content with shopping at the other 10-ish consignment stores within 2 miles of this store. Note- My BF stopped by on his lunch break just a few days ago, and it looks like their summer hours are now in-place. So I would call ahead to make sure they are open before you make the drive. read more
