They are beyond patient and so helpful. In this day and age where everything is online - it is an absolute gem to be able to go to a store and take home samples to make sure it work in your room. I came in and the people were so rude. The facility are so passive aggressive and the lady with glasses and red hair was the rudest person ever. I wanted to buy their product but not after my experience. Never coming back again these people are awful. read more

If I ever have the urge to spend more money on bedding than the current value of my house, this is the place to do it. I actually learned of The Linen Tree when they were listed as a retailer of Molton Brown bath products on another website. My first impression was not the best, however. When I could not find a product on their website, I asked via on-line chat which was supposedly "open." No one answered. No worries, I emailed instead. Again, I never received a response. At that point I decided if they could not respond to a shampoo inquiry, I would never buy my next set of $777 bath towels here either. And so I purchased the shampoo from Saks. And for all you haters that now think I can only use the finest shampoo, it was not for me. It was for my husband. And any time a man is interested in any product related to hygiene, I recommend you ladies support him...no matter the cost. The opposite extreme is far more costly. Fast forward 2 weeks and I need drawer sachets as a gift. So I did the unthinkable and went back to TLT when I struck out elsewhere. And I am now in love with that store! Kind of luck my husband. Didn't care for him at first, but he grew on me. In a good way, not like a tumor. Anywho, what I found at TLT was a beautiful selection of all things bed and bath...linens, lovely soaps and bath products, accessories, and my drawer sachets. There's also a nice selection of china, table linens and pretty decorative items. As for the staff, they were very polite and helpful. I'm only knocking a star for the rocky start. TLT will definitely be on my list for gift items. Maybe I'll even treat myself occasionally, too! read more

Elegant. Sophisticated. Drool-all-over-everythingly gorgeous. The Linen Tree is filled with the highest quality products, and the customer service is always impeccable. I literally wanted to cuddle into all the sheets and duvets and comforters and never leave the first time I visited. And perhaps every subsequent visit after that. And by perhaps, I mean definitely. Visually put, The Linen Tree is like a glamorous version of Pottery Barn. Yes, they have linens as the name suggests, but they also have dining sets, furniture, bathroom products, perfume, home decor, candles, and just about everything else needed to make your house a home fit for royalty. The owners personally travel all over the world and reach out to artisans on a local, national, and even global scale to offer their customers unique handcrafted products worth envying. Yes, The Linen Tree is sophisticated and ritzy, but they also offer plenty of products under $20 that are perfect for gifts or simply pampering yourself with. Do not feel intimidated by my description here. It's not my fault I'm in love. At any rate, the owners and employees are wonderful, attentive people who love what they do and want you to feel at home, whether you're picking up a full bedding set or a candle for your mother. So seriously stop in when you get a chance! It is located in an unassuming strip in North Scottsdale, but you will be transported into a new, breathtaking dimension when you step inside. read more

I was impressed by the customer service distinction of offering to gift wrap my $20 tube of hand lotion. CLASSY, and well noted. I didn't need it wrapped, it was for myself. What a nice touch though. I will gladly pop in here again in the future to get gifts for myself and friends. Considering I didn't spend a lot of money in this store and they were still compelled to show me the level of distinction they strive for is nice. I genuinely enjoyed this store and the warm manner of the swell fellow who greeted, left me alone, and helped me when I beckoned. Thank You, for not being a robot. read more

On March 30, I special ordered a new robe to take on vacation for Memorial Day weekend. After almost eight weeks of no phone calls, I stopped into the store to check on the status. It miraculously appeared two days later (ahem, overnight shipping), but it was too late to take on my trip. Basically, I think they floated my $300 until they absolutely had to place the order at the vendor, and if I had forgotten about it, tough luck Sherlock. And, alas, since it was a special order, no refunds. The store has cute things, and I believe in supporting a local business, but customer service like this will steer me toward NM or Saks in the future. read more

The worst customer service ever. If I could give them zero stars I would. The manager does not care about the customer, only the sale of products. I had an issue with a product that was sold to me. I purchased this based on the recommendation of the salesman who said it was oversized and would fit a pillow top mattress. The manager tried to make me believe that the only reason they sell oversized blankets is to allow for shrinkage and that the salesman would have told me that. Seriously, who is she kidding. Why would anyone buy an oversized blanket to fit thick mattresses so that they would shrink and not fit....I will never go back to this store and would not recommend that anyone shop there. read more

THE ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER COME ACROSS ALONG WITH along with either the most stupid or greedy business owner ever. If you are looking for any kind of business that stands behind their products or has any kind of ethics, DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS BUSINESS. I live in La Jolla and I visit Scottsdale once every three months. I went into the Linen tree and purchased 6 extra large pots a few months back. The owner told me they do not ship but would look into the pricing for me. When they called me back with a price of well over $1500.00 I told her I would take care of it and have them picked up. I paid a man to drive to Scottsdale and pick up all 6 pots. When he returned he only had 5 pots. I contacted the store immediately and asked them where my 6th pot was. The employee admitted that she made the mistake and forgot to give it to him. I told her that they "The Linen Tree" needed to have it sent to me at their cost, as it was their mistake. The employee said no they were not going to. However after a few calls back and forth she then said that she had never been to San Diego and was going to rent a car and bring it to me the following week. The week turned not weeks and then months so I called the store talked with the same employee again and she said it did not work out for her financially to rent a car that she could not afford it. The same employee then said that she was going to send it on the greyhound bus, I told her fine just make sure that it was safe and would not break. Again the weeks turned into a month. I again contacted the store and this time asked for the owner. I asked the owner if she was aware of the situation and she said yes. I asked what was the status and when would I be receiving the pot as I had already paid someone to drive up once and didn't feel that I should have to pay someone again. The owner said "Yea no thats not going to happen" I said excuse me this is your business, your employee screwed up and you need to make this right. Again she said "Yea no, not going to happen" She said I will refund you the price of the pot and I told her that was not an option as I bought them in a set, I went on to say that this is her business and I had just paid approximately $2000.00 for the set of pots. I then went on to say that I was going to yelp her and I could not believe that an owner of a business could either be so cheap to not make it right with their customers or to stupid to understand how word of mouth works. She could care less and told me to go right ahead and yelp what had happened to me. I went ahead and paid the same man to go pick it up as it went with a set but my concern for future customers of this establishment is that if this owner doesn't stand behind a mistake that her employee makes in fact makes the employee pay out of their own pocket to bring an item to the client then she the owner is definitely not going to stand behind any item in her store because she is to concerned with the immediate sale and not the future of what the customer could bring to her business. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR ANY KIND OF CUSTOMER SERVICE AND AN ESTABLISHMENT THAT STANDS BEHIND THEIR MERCHANDISE AND EMPLOYEES THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO SHOP. read more
