I was in the area for the an appointment and wanted to kill some time and browse while I waited. Well, I had no intention of shopping but immediately gave in, lol. The store was so well organized and clean! I absolutely found more than I wanted to, but checked out with a few items. I ended up getting cleaning supplies, clothes for my toddler, and snacks for my puppy. The checkout was fast and the service was friendly! I was shopping with my 4-month-old and needed a private place to nurse/pump. I politely asked the fitting room attendant if I could use an empty room for a few minutes and was shockingly told "no, use the restroom." The idea of feeding my baby in a public bathroom is unhygienic and humiliating. I was just trying to have a normal day out, and I went home feeling completely defeated and like I was the problem. While a manager apologized and confirmed that company policy does allow nursing mothers to use the dressing room, the initial refusal ruined my entire trip. Marshalls, you need to properly train your staff on your own policies and on Arizona law (§411443) which protects a mother's right to breastfeed in a place of public accommodation. read more

It's a Marshall's. Sometimes it's a hit and sometimes it's a miss. I don't expect much when I go to one. I just plan on being surprised. This Marshall's is located in a large shopping center. It shares a big parking lot with Ulta, Old Navy, etc. I've never had an issue with parking. Selection varies from store to store and season to season, so it's tough for me to judge their selection because it changes so often. Whether it's a home, clothing, or skin care item, I usually leave the the store with at least one item purchased. Staff has been friendly and helpful. Just don't expect much and you won't be disappointed! read more

This store was a total let down on so many levels. First the service or lack there of was pretty bad. I was greeted once through the entire time I was in the store even though I walked near multiple employees more than once. The store was a total mess. Things were shoved where they didn't belong, some shelves so full I was afraid to touch them in fear they'd fall and the beauty section was the worst of the store. The selection was severely lacking and again, what a mess. First time I think I have ever left a Marshall's empty handed. Prices are always pretty fair, but this was a miss for me. read more

I was a bit disappointed by the cosmetics and beauty section of this store. They had a good selection of body butters and creams but every single one of them had been tampered with. The safety seals had been broken and you could see where fingers had been drug across or dug into the product. Every single one. read more

I've been to this location a few times. I received exceptional customer service from Beverly. I was purchasing some toys for a toys and Todd's Christmas campaign. I saw the exact two items and there was more than a four dollar difference she happily adjusted the price for me. They open early during the holidays which is awesome. The store is always well stocked with merchandise and friendly staff to assist you. This is one of the best marshals I've been to ever. I am really impressed and will will make this my go to spot. read more

The store manager was texting on his phone. Isn't there a better place to be on his phone than when working? He seemed very agitated. Not sure how many managers they have. This guy has black hair & dresses quite sloppily. The toy dept was a mess and I gave up in kids clothing. A lady was walking around with a cart obviously shopping, but had a badge, and was quite pushy. It was obvious she was trying to hide. Apparently I was in her way. The store is already overstuffed with Christmas items and completely disheveled. I went to the dressing room but the lady was preoccupied on her phone. I had to ask for her attention. I guess being on one's phone is fine there. It's unprofessional & rude. I wouldn't give that store my money if they had exactly what I was looking for. But how would I know if it was there? Beyond cluttered and hard to navigate. No one was friendly either. A smile goes a long way! I'm new to the area & was excited to have a Marshall's nearby. I wouldn't go back though. This was a very disappointing Marshalls store. It was filled with retirees. If you are under the age of 50-60, you will be the youngest person inside the store. There were lots of empty shelves and displays. The floors were very dirty. They seemed to have mostly home and holiday decor items. Clothing selection was not very good - hardly any name brand items and mostly off branded, poor quality clothing. I found many clothing items with makeup and deodorant stains from people trying on the clothes. I did not purchase anything here and will probably not be back to this location. read more

This Marshall's was not very clean. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting and the customer service was not great either. Management had to try to help me with my transaction after they refunded my Visa gift card for a return I made when I walked in the store, and took several minutes to figure out the issue and accused me of spending the card elsewhere when I literally never stepped foot out of the store since doing the return about an hour beforehand. After about 10 minutes at the register, and the manager leaving to call the phone number on the gift card, the manager came back only to tell me the refund would take 7-10 business days to appear back on the card. Didn't offer me store credit or any other solutions except to charge my purchase on another card which was not in the budget for me that day (hence the gift card). Wish I could have just done an even exchange right when I walked in to return the original item. I walked out empty handed. Will not return to this Marshall's location. read more

This Marshals is more organized than some of the others I have been to. I picked up a mice wallet today for seven bucks, and my wife got some cute Christmas gnomes for the fireplace mantle on the cheap. It was a total win. read more

Also they have home decor, pantry items, shoes, purses, luggage, candles etc. The store is clean and organized which I cannot say for other Marshall's stores I have been to. The women's clothing quality was poor. I didn't see anything I wanted so I left empty handed. It reminds me a lot of TJ Maxx. I probably will not be back. read more

They have a rather large selection of travel items which I have not seen at other locations. I found the personal grooming items to be lacking is depth but overall they do have a lot of stuff. Like any Marshalls its a hit and miss type of place. read more

Just had the pleasure of shopping at this Marshall's store. The pleasure was all from Erandy. The sweet cashier that helped me today. She took the time to carefully wrap the frames and glass items I had purchased. She was very pleasant and professional. In fact, every cashier I have encountered here over the years has been this way. I just happened to catch her name because of the care she took in wrapping my fragile items. Marshall's.... you hired a keeper! I hope to see her as a manager one day. I happen to think bathrooms are not just a place in your home for brushing your teeth and bathing. It can also serve as a refuge place where you go and leave it all behind. Marshall's helped me to create a spa bathroom on the cheap. Purchased a few candles, potpourri, and picture frame, sea salts, some fluffy wash cloths, bath towels. Went in today to do some holiday shopping and was followed, very obviously, by store loss-prevention/security. He seemed to be keeping an eye on me and the Mexican family in store. Every time I turned around, bald guy with his hands in his pockets wasn't too far behind. He had no shopping cart or item in his hands so it was obvious he wasn't shopping. At one point he got close enough to look into my cart and directly at me and my daughter. I felt extremely uncomfortable. He followed us all the way through the store, to the checkout line and then turned and walked away. I will be filing a complaint with the corporate office. This should not be how paying customers of color are treated and I will never return to this store. read more

I've never had a problem shopping here as far as customer service goes. The clothes are usually cute and decently priced. It is usually hard to find a variety of clothes in a specific size to choose from though. I guess because a lot of people shop here. This review is strictly about the check out girl I had. I dont know if she had just woken up (at 5pm on a fri), if she was new, high..... she tried to take the security tag of my pants backwards. I had to physically turn her hand over after watching her fail about 10 times AND after 10 more times of telling her "I think you need to flip it over...". This location is clean and never too busy. I usually go here to for the housewares area. They often have the Pyrex storage containers that I like to use in my pantry. There fragrances and bath items can be nice too. Clothes are nothing noteworthy. I rarely even browse those sections anymore. The TJ Maxx off of Camelback has a much better selection of nicer brand names (free people, theory, etc.) read more

I have to credit a girlfriend for bringing this store back to mind. When Marshalls left my area years ago I followed to AZ Mills. While it's likely to have changed by now, the Mills store was a disaster area! I like bargains as much as the next person, but picking through a trash heap is not something I'm willing to do. This store in San Tan (I think) is very clean and well organized. Great for finding "staples" and out of season clothing. Sweater and jacket found! The cashiers are very nice and although I was next in line, the manager came over to say they would be with me in a moment. It was a very nice gesture, yet made me wonder what I was doing that prompted his comment. I didn't feel agitated - no dancing, no low rumble, no baring of teeth! I am very unhappy with my experience at this store. A manager Rahea C proceeded to use a mascara on the floor and put it back on the shelf as my boyfriend was trying on clothes in the dressing room while I was waiting. I have to update and upgrade my review because I've found Marshalls to be a great place to go for children's books, toys, and clothes! When the children's books go on clearance, you could easily get them for $1 or $2 each. Normally priced, I'd say the books sell for at least 30% less than retail. As far as the children's clothes are concerned, I have found some of the same items at Costco for the same price, so it would be a toss up on where you'd rather buy those from. But in either case, they are significantly cheaper than retail, probably by almost half. Kids go through everything so quickly, so this is a great place to get name brand stuff for less. read more

I've always been a little hesitant to shop at Marshall's just because it always seems to be kind of messy and confusing and I personally think the prices are too high for what's being offered. The purse aisle is always a mess, lines are a little too long but customer service is friendly... interesting selection in products but good luck finding your size if you find something you like.
