Just wanted to share an experience I had today that really rubbed me the wrong way. A man with glasses who said his name was Shane (not sure if that was even his real name) was walking around the store with his little phone scanner, looking me up and down--literally checking out what I was wearing from head to toe. It felt uncomfortable, to say the least. I asked him if they had any mesh shopping bags, similar to the ones Forever 21 provides when you're shopping and collecting items. He looked at me like I was asking for a bag to steal something--not a shopping bag. His body language and facial expression made me feel like I was doing something wrong just for asking a simple question. Meanwhile, both of my boys bought sweatshirts from the store--$120 for just two sweatshirts. We paid in cash, and they ran the bills through the machine to check if it was real (which I totally understand). But Shane, or whatever his name is, stood there glaring at the money like we were trying to pass off counterfeit bills. It was honestly laughable, but mostly just insulting. I'm really big on customer service and treating others how you'd like to be treated. But I did not appreciate the attitude, the judgment, or the feeling that I was being watched like some sort of villain. I felt disrespected and incredibly uncomfortable. The only reason I stayed was because my boys really wanted those sweatshirts. We're all human and unfortunately, we sometimes judge people--but judging someone based on how they look is never okay. I was dressed nicely, had my hair done, wearing a dress... I was put together. And yet I was treated like I didn't belong there. Moral of the story: Don't judge a book by its cover. Be kind. We purchased $800 worth of clothes for my daughter at superstition springs mall on Saturday May 23, 2026. One of the bathing suit tops was too big and we went to the Santan mall location to look for a smaller size. They wanted to charge me the difference in price for an even exchange of the same item. I spend around $3k a year on clothes for my daughter at Hollister. I told the manager how I felt about this and she said "It's up to you where you spend your money". I told her that yes it is and I can take my business elsewhere. The kids that work at this store have no idea who pays their salary. It's the customers. Without us, they don't have a job. Going to be doing our shopping elsewhere from now on. read more

Went here today with my daughter. I spend $160 and my daughter spent $100. The lady that checked us out was so rude. She barely said a word to us and they were not even very busy. She folded my jeans nicely then threw them in the bag. They were all rolled up and mashed together by the time she got them all in the bag. When they ring you up your order does not show on the screens. They also do not print a receipt. I asked for a gift receipt and she was upset. She was just rude. read more

My boys love Hollister so we stopped in to see if they had any good sales. Service was good and they even offered to look in the back for an item they didn't have the size for on the floor. We were able to pick up a few items. The only thing that was a bit frustrating was the confusion of what was actually on sale. Came here last night at literally 7:29 when they closed at 8. The dressing room was closed with a bin blocking the entrance, with a sign stating that the dressing room was closed because the store closes in 15 minutes. I guess 15 minutes is the same as 30 minutes? I've worked in retail and I totally get how customers can leave a big mess, but if you want to close 30 minutes early, maybe have sign that doesn't say the store closes in 15 minutes. The lady at the register was very loudly throwing change to count out the register. Again, I get that closing procedures can take a while, but no one greeted us, we encountered the hostile closer, and a closed dressing room. So we went across the way and bought clothes from a store with helpful employees - and we were done (and left) by 7:45. The only reason we even stopped in was bc Tilly's had a register outage so we were unable to purchase the items we had picked out for my daughter's picture day today. So we were looking for an alternative outfit. The closed dressing room would not have been a deal-breaker. If we didn't get the stink eye from the cashier, we would have grabbed a few items at Hollister and been on our way. She doesn't need to worry, we won't be back. read more

Bad customer service and when I returned two items they told me I would receive an email confirmation and gave no physical receipt to show that I returned anything. Told me it could take 48 hours to receive it and to call within a few days if I did not receive it. It's been Almost a week later now and I have not received confirmation yet or my refund . customer service now says wait another 2-3 days for an email.... It's frustrating ! I'd like my money back for the return . Literally the only store that I've had an issue with and At this point it's not even worth shopping here . read more

I visited this store in Gilbert , Az SUCH WELL TRAINED STAFF and the sales were great . I have to say that Hollister really is an excellent place to purchase good quality clothing ; Iso far am very happy as I was told most the clothing is pre-shrunk and so far so good! I think ONE THING THAT HOLLISTER HAS TO CALM DOWN ABOUT IS THEIR SENSE OF RECOGNITION- Apparently many of the clothes are branded with the HOLLISTER NAME IN GIANT LETTERS - COME ON GUYS - I am happy you are proud BUT I DIDNT GET PAID TO ADVERTISE YOUR STORE AND I DONT WANT TO FEEL LIKE A MOVING ADD FOR YOU AND NEITHER DOES ANYONE ELSE when they have bought something. Kayla and Justin were super helpful. I went in there not knowing I would like anything they would have ...since I haven't stepped foot in a Hollister since '07 lol. They have super cute winter clothes and larger sizes (prob since the Abercrombie scandal) ... some items were out of stock but it was fine. The whole store had a buy one get second for 50% off which is nice. Sign up for there emails to get an instant 10$ off. I will be going back if the clothes wears well! read more

I never leave reviews but I can't not leave feedback about the experience I just had. I walked in and the two employees working there just stared at me and continued their own conversation. I shopped for about 5-10 minutes while they stayed huddled in the corner chatting. Someone else came into the store (maybe a friend of the employees?) and she joined their conversation. Though there are signs in the fitting room entrance that say to wait for an employee, no one came to help. I ended up going into an open fitting room to try my jeans on. They didn't fit, so I walked out and STILL, neither of the employees even acknowledged my presence at the store! They were still chatting and laughing in their huddle. Seriously appalling, and I'll never shop here again. On a side note, the carpet in that store is disgusting and stained, and half the lights seem to be out... read more

I went to make a return a week ago and asked the people if the money would still be credited to my account even though my credit card was no longer accessible because it had gotten hacked and was no longer accessible. Before i could even say that my credit card it was on didn't exist one of the employees cut me off and got extremely pissy with me that I would even be asking if the money would go to my account. A week later suprise suprise the money still isn't on my account so I go into the store because there was no number on the receipt to call or anything so i went in just to ask what to do to get my money. So i walk in and told them the situation and asked what i could do to get my money back and a number to call in order to get my money back and the girl at the counter looks me in the face and say "that isn't our problem anymore call customer service" then she just walked away and went back to what she was doing. So now i'm out money and a number to customer service because she couldn't be bothered to do her job that's literally based off customer service. We weren't greeted when we walked in but the people after us were. Nobody checked on us, and the store was a mess yet the workers had time to chat when the jeans needed work and honestly the store just didn't look up to standards which is plain off putting. read more

Let me just start off by saying I'm a major Hollister fan. So imagine my disappointment when I went in this evening with my mother and grandmother and we weren't greeted by any of the five staff that were standing around the store. We spent about 15 minutes looking for a specific style of jeans, and vocally expressing our concerns. Meanwhile the employees went about their day and no one asked if we were able to find what we were looking for. Then as we proceeded to leave the store we still hadn't heard from anyone. It took my mother speaking out to one of the employees telling them that their customer service was absolutely horrendous before we were even acknowledged. It's very disheartening to walk into a store and not be greeted nor ask if we were able to find everything okay. If I could give this store 0/5 stars I most definitely would. read more
